For over the past few months. The services have been very terrible, usually my son has gone there to order a decaf iced mocha for me and plain grilled ham and cheese. Due to my pregnancy i am eager to eat a grilled ham and cheese then to drink my favorite iced mocha with decaf. I once received salami in my bagel and i did not order salami at all. I notice also that the guy over charged my son usually i give tips for appreciation…. After what happened i didn’t give tips anymore. Because of the reason! it does not mean my son a young child does not know yet about tips percentage i just say you can not take advantage on kids. I am a regular customer of cafe Zoe since the cafe it was only walking distance from our home… I’m just disappointed of the workers I truly love the owner in Cafe Zoe and we are supporting local businesses…My son go there with a notes what to order so technically i don’t know why they are still making mistakes about our order… Here’s our smoothies not full completely and we have not drunk out of them yet.I hope next time we get a proper service either adult or kids who made the order.

Cafe Zoë is cool 😎! Very community-focused.Great attentive staff. Local coffee shop / healthy cafe in Menlo Park (walking distance to Palo Alto)!Great coffee and loose-leaves TEA!Healthy panini sandwiches with side salads.A great relaxing and caring place in Menlo Park!Wow! Yes, breakfast all day, and beautiful art works from local artists. Like the amazing Bruce Spencer Photographs that had been featured in the online news outlet called InMenlo…. Cafe Zoë in Menlo Park also has live music nights, trivia nights, happy hour nights, and free WIFI. They are super KIND and would go the extra miles to serve your needs. The owner Kathleen is a super caring and intelligent person for our communities! 🙏❤️🙏The outdoor seating arrangements are comfortable; surrounded by beautiful arrangements of succulents and olive trees, spaces for working, and / or chilling with your preferred drinks. This has a calm and genuine community environment. We LOVE to come almost every morning, read a book, relax and enjoy ourselves here at Cafe Zoë! 😎❤️😇

Overall, the breakfast sandwich was good, and I liked that they offered tea lattes for their loose leaf selection! Its a cute store with places to work.Only negative was that they forgot the breakfast sandwich order ahead of ours, and in fixing that mistake they then forgot about ours, leading us to wait about 20 minutes before getting our sandwiches (after asking.) But! They were very apologetic and gave a refund without us asking, so really a net neutral on that, and probably would be a positive if we werent in a hurry.Worth checking out!

Not much to add, but this is a quaint coffee community ☕️ shop I’ve visited a couple of times. Coffee and tea selection is standard fare and decor is a bit dated but definitely a cozy meet up and study space. WiFi was okay and parking seems not too bad, though limited in the front. This time around I ordered a chicken pesto sandwich that was just so so. But edible with included salad. I didn’t expect much and didn’t get much but still not bad for such a place. Still it’s nice for the community around to have such a spot to get their coffee and meet up that isn’t just a Starbucks or what not. So definitely come support this local business.

This is your average coffee and pastry shop tucked away within a residential neighborhood, no more, no less. The number of pastry options are there, just not much variety. If you come for a bagel, opt for a different pastry Instead if youre in a hurry.Theres average parking out front.

I LOVE the White Mocha, not too sweet, just perfect. They also have Acme bread and pastries and you can get a standing order for freash bread to take home. THEY ARE OPEN REGARDLESS OF WHAT GOOGLE SAYS!!!!!!! Current pandemic hours of operation: 8:00am-1:30pm Monday thru Saturday, closed on Sunday. See most recent photos for some of what they have right now. They have new shirts in stock as well! This place is AWESOME. Great coffees, espressos, tea, smoothies, pastries, breakfast burritos, small gifts, local artists artwork and photos... They have trivia night on Thursdays (currently online) and open mic on every 3rd friday (online right now). Incredibly nice staff. Its family owned, GREAT place, please support local businesses, this one is definitely worth it.

Grilled chicken sandwich was ok. Willows Roast coffee is quite good. Sandwich needs same level of flavor as coffee. Grew up on Menalto as a kid, mom still lives here, so wanted to try this place out as we didnt have anything like this in 60s and 70s. Looks like folks around here enjoy it. Borders in the Green and Rainbow realm, which is fine. Grew up tolerating weird realms much better than others here tolerated my views. Find that best places to eat focus on food first, versus being a gathering place, and that leads to being a gathering place. (Look at breastaurants, excuse the pun, wrong focus - dropping attendance.) Focus on cooking the chicken breasts and adding some zing to the flavor, instead of flags and signs. Leads to more stars on reviews. But definitely stop by for the Willows Roast if you want a good, rich cup of coffee.

A friendly neighborhood place! I am visiting from out of town, and Cafe Zoe was highly recommended by my host. I had an almond latte, which is not a menu add-on, but a standalone item. I was not disappointed, though I would have liked it a little bit hotter. If I am here again, I will ask for that. There were school children there, having before-school warm drinks, which added to the local, family-friendly atmosphere.

This used to be a nice stop for me when I was in the area, but during this last visit I couldn’t help but notice how messy and unkempt the cafe was. Delicious food and drinks but some of the slowest service I have ever experienced. They have consistently taken 30-50 minutes to make simple orders, but they are always great quality. I dropped by here the other day when I was looking on Yelp for a local place to eat, and the good reviews drew me in. I had the ham, pear and brie panini and it was really delicious. I thought that the portions were very generous and that the flavor combinations were incredible. Also, the meal came with a salad that was also delicious.Overall, I truly enjoyed my experience here. I thought it was cool that they do live music with local musicians and they have a really cute community within the cafe itself, but it was so loud with the music because the cafe is so small that it was hard to talk and fully enjoy my experience.

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, Cafe Zoe is exactly what Id like an neighborhood coffee shop to be. The staff was incredibly friendly and the place was clean. The had just the right amount of busy vs empty. There was plenty of seating inside and a few tables outside. There looked to be a good amount of outlets for those device junkies :)The coffee and food was good. I think I give Cafe Zoe a Very Good rating because I enjoyed my overall experience there, it makes the food taste better, ya know?I love that they support the local schools. The current art display on their walls was created by local students, and speaking with the barista, they do work with the schools to display projects. From the few hours I was there I saw a few high school kids come in to get drinks, socialize, and/or study. Community connection here is wonderful. If I only lived closer, Cafe Zoe would be a regular spot for me.

It’s a small quiet charming cafe, a nice place to chat over a snack or read a newspaper in the morning. Food is a bit plain, like something I could make at home, but it’s not bad.Very charming/warm decor on the inside, I liked the interior immediately upon entering :-) There’s local artwork on the walls, a shelf with funny vintage postcards and fridge magnets that you can browse while waiting for your order, a collection of cute coffee mugs, etcThe coffee was mediocre though (maybe I got decaf instead of regular by accident?), and the breakfast food was decent but a bit overpriced and nothing special—some pre-prepared breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal bowls, etc. I didn’t try the espresso/latte drinks or baked goods, so no comment on them, those might be better.Menu recommendation: oatmeal power bowl with bananas

Review is for vegetarian options: I ordered tomato soup and California sandwich. The soup tasted fine, both it was barely warm 🥶 I expected a hot bowl of soup on a cold day, and was disappointed. I didnt go back to ask to warm it up, because I already tried the soup and it wouldnt be sanitary to place that bowl into the microwave. The sandwich was really tasteless even though it had avocado and tomatoes in it, plus the mustard on it was really awful. I wouldnt go back. The kids space on the patio is ok, does the job, but could be cleaner.
