This is a small neighborhood grocery store; but dont let that fool you. They have most everything major grocery stores have. I shopped there often because I would find bargains. I could spend 30 minutes to an hour perusing. They have excellent prices on grouped packaged on meats. Their fruits and vegetables are presented in a way that is eye catching. They have a lot of groceries in a small space.

Favorite grocery store to shop at. Meats are fresh, friendly staff, and the store is always clean. Highly recommend!

Went here expecting an alternative to walmart for groceries. I got overpriced food more expensive than any major grocery chain in mentor. Both the gallon and half gallon of ice cream I got from brands I trust tasted horrible. The gallon was gelatinous and slimey and the half gallon salty and felt like sand. Clearly they dont care for their products and allowed these to go bad somehow, even though theyre a year before their expiration date. Save the trouble and money and go somewhere else.

Mentor Family Foods has really good meat never had a bad piece of meat from that place I really like their pork I went in there just because Ive had a taste for their boneless Western ribs

This place has ample parking and easily visible from the main road. This place actively follows the CDC recommended guidelines, property is clean inside and outside. Shelves are always stocked and the fresh fruit and vegetables are beautiful in color and form. As a small community grocery store it offers a variety of food items as well healthy food items for the health food conscious shopper, so treat yourself to great customer service and a friendly atmosphere while you shop. Great little old days neighborhood market.Ground beef is ground in house. No little rubbery bits and very tender. Boars head luncheon meats. And a little European section of things you wont find anywhere else.

My family has been shopping at MFF for years. Not only is it close and convenient to our home, but it provides us with good food options. There always seems to be someone restocking the fresh produce, and the meat department will get about anything you ask for. Little to no seafood, but I don’t mind. The store feels and looks clean and the staff is friendly. Support this local gem!

My mom loves this store. It is family run and in the past, they have been willing to see if they can special order items shes asked about. I like that. They do have certain items that I cant find at other stores.But they do have limited space compared to the chain grocery stores and that means they have to pick and choose what to stock--so sometimes variety is limited.

Mentor Family Foods is a great family-owned grocery store. The service in the meat department is far superior to anything you would receive at any of the chain grocery stores. They also carry a variety of imported European foods that you wont find at other stores. Happy to support a family-owned local grocery.

It is a little more expensive, yes. Lets not be silly. It is a--fairly large--but still a family owned business and they just cant compete on price alone. Thankfully we dont rely on price alone for our shopping decisions, although I understand those that need to. The store feels better to shop in than the other stores. It feels like this is a store that has been here doing it this way and it works just fine for it, and nobody has to change a thing.

Fabulous meats and prices! Family owned and operated. One of the few places that still carries bone-in beef! Would give another star if able. The genuine and xcellent customer service shone through again over the Holidays this year when I was able to call in a bakery and meat order on the day before New Years Eve Day and pick it up without a hitch! Thank you.

They have a little bit of everything and even some things I cant find anywhere else. More expensive than your standard grocery store but not by much. Good place to go when you forgot something at another store and need it in a pinch.

Just a great store, with a tremendous meat section, excellent prices, and super service, never a wait in line! Try the deli section, you will not be disappointed. I started to go there about 8 months ago and since then, have been very well pleased. Support Local Family owned businesses!

Pretty nice selection most of the time although the prices are a bit more steep. Overall the store is clean and stocked and staff has always been helpful and friendly towards my family.

Im all about supporting small, local businesses. Would much rather give my money to them vs a a big grocery store chain. Great meat, good selection of produce - good prices on most items. Forget about chips, cookies. cereal or any of that middle aisle stuff=expensive. Wait for a sale. Most recently have had issues with pricing. Remember when cashiers knew what was on sale? On my last visit I saw a sign above the navel oranges, limes and lemons. 5 for $1.99, any combo. Put 3 oranges, 1 lime and 1 lemon in bag. When I go to checkout, she starts ringing them separately. I told her about the sign and after a couple of other people get involved, sign is confirmed. A couple of the cashiers were rolling their eyes like I was being nuts over the difference and this has happened more than once. Its the principle of it, if its marked a price, it should be that price, especially since I only bought the item because it was on sale. Done with my rant :o)

We are so happy to have this store close by. They have a great deal of variety I usually do not have to go to another store after to find something. The isles are a bit cramped but realistically thats probably because they carry so many brands and products. The manager has gone out of his way to accommodate my last minute shopping trip. I thought they were open until 9 but realized they closed at 8. It was like 7:57 when I came in and a Cavs playoff game was about to start but they still let me get what I needed so I didnt have to go to another store. So far every item weve ever bought from sour cream to fruit to steak has been satisfactory.

Ive lived in the area for ten yrs. my visits have been good, its very close to my home which makes it very convenient, the prices are Unbeatable the people are always very nice.

Cute little local grocery store . Surprises by their variety and very reasonable prices . I just stopped in to see what they had to offer . I bought some cookies, a noodle side dish, and candy . Their Jimmys chocolate chip cookies are delicious. I will be back .

Place is a ways so cold inside. Cashier are not friendly. I try to avoid to shop there. However the deli has fresh neats.

Nice place to stop for a few quick things or even shop a little. Everyone that works here is so friendly and sweet, especially a few of the girls that work up front.

People at the deli, are kind and conversational, produce is great, some prices are high..But mostly competitive..but some of the cashiers are unfriendly and immature, there is a blond girl there who was talking about a patron while she was in line and thought no one could hear her..she has been there for a while..just a few are nice, and I have heard this from others as well, because of this I sometimes dread going there.
