Its a good store you can get alot of stuff thats on sale there.

Would be cool if you updated your hours online to reflect the actual store hours. Waited 30 minutes for them to open at 9 am only to find a sign on the door stating seasonal hours begin at 10.The employees at this store are horrible. Arrived just after opening time and the doors will still shut. I stood there for a moment until I heard a voice from behind me telling me the doors are closed except for employees only (which I get if it was before/after shop hours, but it wasnt). I checked the time and it was definitely after the time stated on the door to be open.Finally the doors were opened and I went to grab the 1 thing I needed for work that day and went to the register, but no surprise, there was no employees at the register to ring me out. Nope, I found all the employees gathered around in a circle for a start of the day team meeting.Maybe with better employees who showed up on time, theyd be able to open on time and have employees available to help their customers.

Ocean State Job Lots has such good bargains! I enjoy shopping and coming home with just what I need (and sometimes more if I dont stick to the list). The store is clean and well stocked. I couldnt find chia seeds but, my bad, I didnt ask. Im sure they would have helped me. The staff are friendly and efficient. I recommend Icean State Job Lots because I can save money on fairly good quality items.

Big place, large selection, some really great bargains. Skip the dark chocolate bars. Twice Ive bought them only to find whitened product, maybe too old.

Just discovered OSJL recently and thought wed check it out and were quite pleased we did. All kinds of good deals on a wide variety of items from outdoor furniture to work clothes to food items. The cashier lady was very friendly and helpful. They accept manufacturer coupons and give a military discount, as well. Any store that gives veterans a break is a place well definitely be frequenting.

Nice little store but I always come out of these places with 15 great deals on items I didnt really need. They have an incredibly large variety of spices.

We like the prices and if you shop well can find some quality items at bargain prices. Employees are very nice.

Although there prices are a bit elevated even though they advertise 50% of computers price(ie cardboard boxes)I believe they are 50% higher than Walmart,its a conveniently located and all around ok store

I was pleased as usual! My one complaint is that the cashier was being really weird? She kept asking me what I was going to do with a shelf organizer I purchased. My initial thought was that if she was that interested, she should purchase one! They are a great price!

I went into this store recently. Many things I needed were there. I was happy that I bought a white cart w/wheels. I love this store!!! The staff is nice! I like seeing all their stuff to sell. Its fun to visit again and again. They will be selling Christmas stuff soon.

Job lots is a good place to get discounted overstock products. Just dont count on something you buy in there today being there tomorrow. Not a complaint, it is just the nature of their business.

This place often has really good deals, and it just contains a lot of different stuff.

Ask checkout where items are, some times identical things like coffee makers are not together and there is more choice than you think.

Interesting store! Kind of like Big Lots, but with more stuff, I think. Lots of outdoor/lawn/garden kind of stuff. More clothes than I would have expected. A decent selection of food items, more than I expected! Prices are decently low, though a slightly higher that I would expect on the food. You can get out a little cheaper on most of the food stuff at Market Basket, I think, but I would still buy some food stuff here. They have interesting things to choose from. I will shop here again.

This was a relatively new ocean state the store to me always find it more difficult to shop when Im not positive of the layout but they had a lot of interesting and inexpensive items as always and salespeople could not have been any friendlier.The only reason for 4 not 5 stars is a though everything was clean it still has the feeling of an old store building theyve done a wonderful job of keeping it clean and people working all the time to disinfect but still definitely feels like youre walking into store thats been there many many years a facelift though Im sure it is hi and cost would make this a five no problem

A lot of items in the aisles were un marked with prices.

Not the best shopping experience. Many of the items werent accessible as they sat on the top shelves and clearly hadnt been stocked in the proper rotation. Long lines with only one available cashier made for a very long checkout.

Typical discount retailer with decent staff. Only downside is I didnt have an account with them and needed one for some minor items. Most places would swipe a shared card but instead I had to put the items back. Oh well.

Discounts galore and just about everything you can imagine and more. One of the best places to find gluten free items around in our area as well. You need to plan on spending time there! They will even special order items for you. You earn store $$s to spend that dont expire. Make sure you have plenty of room in your vehicle for all your great finds!

Has a little bit of everything. Some stores are really kept nice and others are not. They carry unusual things. Some are discounted.

This store is a hot mess...and just a regular mess. A male cashier LOST HIS MIND on me when I gave him a him $100.21 for a $39.21 purchase and HE couldnt figure out the correct change. Twenty-one cents was definitely not worth the scene he created. I will not be returning.

Cheap stuff for cheap prices. But wish they had a better sporting goods section

Larger than your average OSJL, offers more selection. Staff are helpful, prices always competitive.

Even with new arrivals the store is well laid out and I can always find what I am looking for. The staff is always friendly. They sell non GMO and gluten free food items also.

The only reason Im giving four stars here instead of five is because like most stores of this type, if you find something once you can never guarantee it will ever be in stock again. Strike while the iron is hot. You need to be wary that theres a lot of cheap Chinese junk, but theres also a lot of good deals on brands youll never find anywhere else.

Great prices on a lot of things for the house n personal care. Seasonal items are a must I buy here for much loved savings.

A few weeks ago I bought some dual element LED shop lights for $14.97 each, a week or so later I tried to go back and get some more but they were out of stock I checked again a week later they had some 4foot shop lights at $19.95. but they just sold out. They called around to some are there other stores to see if they had any left and they asked me if I wanted the $14.95 or the $19.95 I told him it didnt matter Im was assuming that they both the same just one was on sale the other one wasnt, that was the implication that they seem to be making I was wrong go from Concord New Hampshire to Meredith only to find out if they were very much different there are a thousand lumen less and a single element instead of a dual-element. Morrow two the story watch very close and ask the questions and dont assume anything is the same

Greeted the minute I walked in the door. And the Manager (Ann) was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. Im a customer service-oriented person, so these are the things I really appreciate.

This is definitely one of my favorite OSJ stores. When I have shopped there the store itself has been clean and well organized and the staff is very friendly helpful.

The people that work there were very helpful and patient. The deals are slamming, and sign up for the insiders crazy deals...... 6 🌟

Came in looking for some smore making supplies, actually I just needed Graham crackers and asked an associate working the cookie cracker aisle if they had any, he wasnt too sure, I mean last year we had a display he said. So he set off to look. 10-15mins past and I saw him back were we started putting items on a shelf and I said so, no luck? He said nope, I replied it would have been nice if you let me know I have been waiting in the area and looking for alternatives myself. I ended up purchasing a bag if cookie batter cookies, a small round thin cookie which did the trick for some quick smores on the fire....but still hello customer service. Long lines at register to boot but once a few larger orders went through we finally made it out the door.

This store is packed with products at good prices.
