I love buying from Liberty Lagana. I have been dealing with Matt for over 10 years and I personally never go to any other store. His staff is really polite and helpful. If I cant find what Im looking for in the store they always make a good effort to find it for me on their website or calling one of their suppliers.
We just bought our sofa here. Not once did I feel like the sales guy was pushing us hard to buy. He was really helpful and took us right to everything they could deliver quick instead of wasting our time. The prices are really good and they were the only place we could find that could deliver fast.
Nice family and great customer service from sales to delivery. I have a split-level thats a nightmare to get furniture into and the 2 delivery guys never complained and made it work. Im done buying furniture anywhere else.
Poor service, rude employees, I wasn’t greeted or assisted. Place is ridiculously dirty and has an odd odor, (both me and my husband were wearing masks while inside the store.) I do not recommend this place at all! Try rent a center just a few minutes away and much more welcoming
I recently got a nice piece of furniture from this establishment, unfortunately upon self-inspection it was infested with bedbugs. I didn’t mind the stand offish attitude from the guy behind the desk, but the bedbugs is something I cannot condone, I am utterly disgusted, DO NOT GO HERE!

Purchased a sectional a few months ago. It was a nice set and decent price. Good selection too. We checked out a lot of other stores and they were the only ones with stock and could deliver fast.

I have been looking for a new couch during the COVID outbreak and unfortunately many places had nothing in stock for months. I went to a couple other places before Liberty Lagana but I wasn’t comfortable with how much other places swarm or pressure you to find something. At Liberty Lagana, they didn’t do that at all. I had an appointment with George and he made it super easy. He was willing to give me something off the showroom display so I had my couch delivered to me within a few days. I would recommend them to anyone but definitely call them first because they are requiring an appointment to go in.

I purchased a living room set about 5 years ago. I had an issue with the cushions and the owner remembered my order. He sent me new cushions and didnt even charge me. He was very helpful and understanding even though it was well past the warranty timeframe. Great customer service & follow-up! I feel really appreciated and valued as a customer.
Right when you walk in, you are greeted and helped right away. They are very friendly and will help you find what your looking for without following you around. They are very reasonable too and will work with you on the price if you pay cash. Good people.

The dude greeted me right away, showed me the deals they had on site, gave me time to browse, checked on me but not in an annoyingly overbearing way. Got a good deal and had my stuff delivered the next day. Ill be back again for sure.
Was looking for a nice new sofa set. We found 2 we liked. George helped us quick and made sure we had everything. Prices were very affordable.
I wanted a double bed with drawers on the sides, and I went to 3 other furniture stores with no luck. Johnny was very helpful. He helped me look online and found the bed my daughter wanted. My daughter loves it!
Liberty Lagana is fantastic and the sales guys at the store are great. They have really good quality furniture for the price. The delivery was really fast and I thankfully was able to get my furniture before Christmas. The delivery team showed up within the time window that I was given. They had good communication all around from purchase to delivery.
I dont remember the Salesman name but he was very knowledgeable and very nice. They have some really nice furniture for affordable prices. I will def come back here again.

This store has the best customer service I have ever experienced which is why I only go here for furniture. I bought a sofa and after a few months my son damaged it. They immediately sent their guys to fix it and didn’t even charge me. The prices are so much less than what other stores charge. I will not shop anywhere else.

Went there to purchase a new bedroom set, mattress, desk and possibly a small table for my place. Turned away told that no one could help me. I grew up in Meriden and always heard decent things about them. I prefer to buy local. After the experience I had today I won’t buy a thing from this place.

I wish it was an option to leave no stars. The level of professionalism and Adequate consumer care is a substandard & Is not utilized by their employees at all. The mood of Liberty Lagana based on the way my family & I were treated Was very unwelcoming. It felt like visiting a jail, not a furniture store. Drove to Meriden from New Haven after viewing a $1400 sectional sofa that I wanted to buy which I seen on their website. Upon attempting to enter the store with my 3 children, a man came out and said rudely, “you’re kids aren’t allowed to come in here & you need an appointment anyways”. He did not offer to help me make an appointment nor did he apologize for the inconveniences of their website supplying misinformation & that an appointment was required & Also that children are not allowed. Instead he argued with me and said it is on the website (which it is not, it only said to come on down to their location) After being turned away, I called and asked to speak with a manager. The man on the phone was the same man at the door. He demanded my first and last name in order to speak with the mgr. I explained I’m a customer and that I just wanted to inquire with the mgr about scheduling an appt today since I had driven far to try out a couch that I was already interested in and wanted to pay cash for. He refused to transfer me and said “I’ll call you back”. He called back and said sorry our spots are filled, come back tommorow. This place couldn’t even accommodate a simple business transaction with a prospective client. They make you feel unwanted all the while with an arrogant, devaluated, and unprofessional demeanor. Luckily & thankfully, I found a similar product in person with my 3 kids at Raymour and Flanigan For a fraction of Liberty lagana’s unrealistic price. This is not a family friendly store and not that place to go if you’re buying furniture for your family or let alone with your family! There are much better furniture stores that have better quality furniture at better prices & do not present themselves in an unclassy & poor tasting manner such as Liberty lagana. Do not shop here, thankfully we dodged a bullet! Their furniture is as unfashionable as they are!

Just called to ask a simple question and received the most unprofessional service . Very very unlikely to return back to them .
The first man that asked if I needed help was so rude .. they acted like they didn’t want to take care of us .They me and my mom feel like we weren’t welcome to buy anything thereAnd they denied me because “I only have credit from August” when my credit goes a whole year and a half back ... he said I had enough credit but still couldn’t buy the furnitureThey did not want to help us out at allI wouldn’t recommend them to any of my friends or family ✌🏽When I told him my credit score he responded with “ I assume you pay your bills late “ when I have a 100% payment history . Then he wanted to claim that he didn’t say that . All in all the place is not a great place to go to . I never pay my bills late and they saw that on my credit also the man asked me how many years have I worked in total ! Not how long have I been at my current job. I have 5 years of employment !!! And never have been jobless Just because I haven’t been at my job for a year doesn’t mean I’m unemployed or won’t be able to pay for furniture .. I feel that they stereotyped me and my mother ... and my cousin has been a customer here for years !

My wife n I went to go buy a bed for my 6 yr old son, Gave them $200, we thought we was getting the bed that same day, and found out that we wasnt, We asked for our money back, the owner told us No and kicked us out the store. We was never refunded our money and the owner started yelling racial slurs at me, along with his son.Never got our money back ($200 cash)I do not recommend this place at alllllll .....

We just purchased a new bed set from Liberty and once again were incredibly satisfied with Matt and his staff. Weve always gotten excellent service here which is why we always come back. From purchase to delivery, they always exceed expectations and hit it out of the park. They have quality products and the environment is really low pressure and friendly. Certainly not a hoighty-toighty store by any means but the service and prices outweigh that by a country mile.

My parents bought new couches for their new home. Few weeks later the couch started making loud cracking noises, they paid for guarantee just in case something breaks or damage they can exchange it. I have 700$ leather couches in my house for over 4 year never made noise, no damage at all. The guys came and said they will talk to the manager and give my father a call, few days later they called and said we could only change them after 1 year which makes totally no sense. Very unprofessional, paid 3k for what? We will never buy from them again.Ps.I was there when the workers came. My mother doesnt speak english, so i spoke to them. They said they couldnt do anything about it, maybe after 1 year.
The reason why I gave 1 star. Is because everytime I drive by which is very often, the letters in front of the store look terrible..they are old and faded..needs to be updated..

BUYER BEWARE These owners are down right rude and unprofessional. They have no idea what it means to provide customer service or show gratitude to continuing customers who have spent a lot of money in their store. The first Item I bought from them was a sectional and dining room table priced at about over 4,000 together which they delivered to Wallingford. Then I purchased an Entertainment center and they delivered it to my new home in Farmington. I went back and purchased another dining room set, end tables, bedroom set, mattress and coffee table. Needless to say I have spent over 10,000 in their store and they REFUSED to deliver to my home in Farmington and said they dont travel that far and never have. I reminded them that they have delivered to this home before and the owner said absolutely not. So you mean to tell me that after all the money I have spent in your store you can not make a simple delivery? Mind you these were not light items they were EXTREMELY heavy and actually hurt myself trying to bring it into my home with 3 other people. On top of that the dresser I purchased is cheap and flimsy priced at 1,000 and the boards lining the bottom are coming off ( I take very good care of my furniture) The drawers on the entertainment center are not aligned properly this must be a manufacture defect when I addressed the issue they refused to do anything. The chairs that go with the dining room table wobble. I called them and they said all they could do was send me new hardware which didnt work and they didnt care. In addition to these issues after all the money I have spent I had about a 300.00 balance with them which mind you is minimal to the thousands of dollars I have spent. I lost my job and missed ONE payment and I received documentation in the mail stating they were taking me to small claims court. STAY AWAY

I have been their customer since August of 2011 and I have had a extraordinarily awesome experience and I would not change Liberty Lagana for anything. I have seen bad reviews and I believe they come from people that are upset because they dont get approved due to credit! I can guarantee there is no place like this one to shop for funiture. I just finished paying some things off and I am waiting for more because I LOVE LIBERTY LAGANA AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! :) Never had no floor scratches either I dont know who had the nerve to say that ... When the guys come they pick the furniture up and carry it they never roll things on the floor they are professional! Sounds like someone had nothing better to do but lie about liberty!
After 30 yrs of shopping here, I was heartbroken by the terrible way I was treated and humiliated by the owner. And he was screaming at his son for breaking something off of the shelf while moving furniture. The place has gone down hill. Nothing like how it used to be.
Very unprofessional sending group messages to customers. Changing my debit card without my authorization and making my account negative. Never refunded me for the overdraft but they sure hurry up and send a group messages that Im late. The driver s rude as can be. So not satisfied with their services
