Larry up to his old tricks. Doesnt remember etc. Came from Houston to look at Cruisers 3750. Boat name is Perfect. According to Larry, boat was in Perfect condition. Not by a long shot. Boat was supposed to have a bow thruster, got all the way to sea-trial time-no bow thruster. A dinghy and outboard that actually had their own pictures in the ad were excluded. Larry doesnt remember me asking him about it. The list goes on. Unfortunately, I did not see the reviews before engaging with Larry. I used to own a couple of car dealerships, Larry reminded of the old used car salesman, charming but no integrity. Dont waste your time with this guy. He gives sales brokers a bad name.

Im a new resident in Florida and know nothing about open water boats. Lay spent a good 30 minutes with us helping us understand what we want. Im very impressed with his knowledge of the address, boats, and resources!

I spoke with Larry about a Moody 34 he had listed. I asked him on the phone, in person and with my own mother present who witnessed him say there were no problems with the boat. Larry then tries to sell me a previous Survey from another buyer that went bust at half price to push the sale of the boat through. Little did he know that I would call him out on his lies and 37 problem items later. The boat doesn’t meet USCG safety standards as stated in the makeshift survey and the owner in his infinite wisdom covered every single designated ventilation hole and removed the engine blower system. Not only did he lie to me, but tried to sell me a previous survey at half price for his own gain for a boat that can be right down deadly. When I called him out, he had no comment and bailed out on the contract. Slime ball. He really deserves a -10.Update 11/21/2019... the boat was dropped $10K to the original offer price off $38,500 that I had made initially in the contract. This confirms the above. When I offered to go back to the table for the new listed price, they agreed to terms on email and even went further down to $35k, but refused to add the terms to the contract. I have since reported him to the state. This guy is shady and has very shady business practices... period.03/10/2020 I received a call from Larry a few months ago asking if I still wanted to throw a bid in. I was very specific with him and explained that I had placed a contract on that boat long before anyone else came in to try and purchase the boat and therefore I had the right to continue my contract. He then proceeded to tell me that there was another contract in place. He clearly wants to setup a bidding war between two buyers to raise the sales price. I was very clear with him and told him I wanted no part in a bidding war.I was also contacted by another broker on a different boat and I explained to him the situation with this guy without mentioning any names. The broker from Miami was able to figure out exactly who I was speaking about just by mentioning the Moody in Merrit Island. This guy has a bad reputation even amongst brokers!

Larry has a great feel for market value and marketing, and is an experienced negotiator.He has good contacts in the marine industry.He was open to collaborate with us regarding photos and information for the listing.We were kept up to date with showings and offers.Working with Larry was a positive experience.

My father purchased a boat from this crock Larry. The boat was purchased and paid in full in May 2018 and to date we have yet to get a title and only after threatening to contact an attorney did we get a “application for title” and a registration for three months after we paid $325. Last May to License the vessel. We regret ever doing business with them.
