First time coming in & absolutely loved their customer service, lady at the front had a great personality! Came in to see their raw dog food selection & definitely was satisfied with their selection & prices. Ended up purchasing a couple of turkey containers & my pup absolutely loved it.

Very nice, clean place and people. I can tell they have the best intentions. Im getting meat here from now on because I want to avoid factory farm meat, I know they source their meat from happy, healthy animals.Also, I called ahead of time and asked the price of bacon and was told it was $6.99 which sounded insanely cheap, so I head over and It turns out the bacon was $9.99. Slight bummer, but I know it was an honest mistake. Still a five star because I didnt bring it up while I was there, so they didnt get a chance to honor the price or anything.bacon is really good, will come back again.

Im so glad to have found this amazing shop, as none of the grocery stores here seem to have anything resembling a decent butcher/meat department. The filet mignon is some of the best Ive had and Im excited to see that they also carry venison! Every employee is so friendly and helpful. What a gem!

Local, meat is AMAZING! I have come here many times and never disappointed! Steaks are amazing, my boys fight over their Mac and cheese, jalapeños poppers are yum! Potato salad is amazing.Im a returning customer again and again!The meat and sides are great, staff is friendly and never pushy.

Would have given 5 stars, but my $36 porterhouse had a lot of fat and grizzle in it. Beyond that, it was excellent, with good flavor. I will be back.

I needed a 3lb tenderloin for making Beef Wellington and called up Chucks. Wasnt a problem and they had it ready to pick up the next day. The meat was fantastic and turned out great. We couldnt be happier!

We’ve been coming here since about the time they opened, and have never been let down.Chuck and Cassie run one of the cleanest, well stocked, butcher shops in the whole phx/metro. They are both experts in their craft and are always quick with a recommendation if you’re stumped on what to cook for dinner.Prices are competitive with local grocery stores, but the quality is exponentially better. I really can’t stress enough how much better the food is. They’ve also got a freezer full of more exotic meats like bison and elk and cuts of tongue, liver, etc. You can get ground dog food there too.Chuck and Cassie are also two of the friendliest people anywhere. They enjoy what they do and it shows. We’re customers for life.

Great place to get USDA prime beef, fresh ground beef and amazing chicken breast. Every product that I’ve purchased at this meat store has been a one top-notch prime grade. Also got to give some credit to the staff and the owner, good people friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend Chuck’s Butcher Block meats.

Got a wagyu ribeye and some prime brisket burgers it was next level good. Awesome place will be back every time I’m in town.

This is a great place with good old fashion butcher with great cuts of meat including dry age steaks.

Staff is always friendly and the quality of meat is exceptional! We also buy bones for dogs and they love them of course. Try the twice baked potatoes because they are super creamy and addictive! We’ve been going here for months and will continue to go! They also carry mikes hot Honey which goes great on everything. Don’t miss out on this shop, it’s well worth it!

Incredible family owned butcher! Everyone is super helpful. Clean bright store with lots of selection. We have tried other butchers in Mesa and Gilbert and they don’t provide the same level of quality, service, or warm family feeling that Chuck’s Fine Meats does🥰 ....even the dog bones are better!

I went there for the 1st time last week with the intent of buying chicken for Easter dinner. Other than home grown chickens, that was the best chicken we have ever eaten. we will return again to buy more meat from this place again. Service was very amazing and very customer friendly and patient.

My wife and I have always thought meat from a butcher shop was a cut above what you would get at your local grocer. The problem is, finding and even having one in your neighborhood. When we were in Surprise we did have a local butcher shop there but now that we are in Mesa thats out of the question. We then began to frequent Midwestern Meats and were happy with them. Its a bit of a drive but we did it for the freshness of the meats. Now, comes Chucks Fine Meats..... We went there 2 days ago and purchased brats and potato salad. Brats were very tasty and potato salad was much to my liking (not drowning in mayo). We are going back today to buy and try some other cuts of meat...TO BE CONTINUED.....

Thanks for being open on Sunday’s. Stopped in today to pick up Filet Mignons and Jalapeño stuffed bacon wrapped poppers for Sunday dinner. Three young men behind the counter who provided amazing customer service !!! 🇺🇸 Filets fantastic as always.

We just left Chuck’s after making several purchases there. Contrary to a post I read just now about the staff not wearing personal protective equipment, i.e. masks, my wife and I both saw every person behind the counter wearing masks and gloves! Chuck’s was clean, staff extremely helpful and polite. We’ll be back for sure!

This place is fantastic. Friendly, family owned butcher shop with sides and seasonings as well. Their steak at the counter is to die for and they have more hard to find meats in their freezer. This place is a neighborhood staple and I have recommended it to people all over the valley.

Been there before and loved it but hadn’t been lately because of the quarantine. I was going to go there today and I pulled up to the shop front and noticed that none of the employees were wearing any kind of protective equipment i.e. masks. I think this is pretty thoughtless considering the current climate and the fact that they are working with fresh meats. I don’t think we are out of the woods yet and precautions are still necessary.

Very clean and new looking inside, tons of selection, family owned and operated. They sell all kinds of meats and spices/dry rub and even make their own beef jerky. There are no other actual butcher shops in Mesa other than Midwestern Meats which is old and gross.

Hands down a GREAT butcher shop! Used to shop Mid-Western Meats and AJs routinely but now switched to Chucks. Location closer to our home but also the quality of meat is equal to or better! In addition the staff is super friendly, courteous and spends time with you. Chuck will stop and explain anything you need at any time. We love the family feel and excited they are in Mesa! They have home town touches like taking reservations for fresh turkey for Thanksgiving. Yumm!! Even tried the dog raw meat for the 1st time ever and now my dogs are hooked! Highly recommend... you will not be disappointed!
