We loved buying fill dirt from J & J Landscaping! After filling our trailer, the front end loader operator noticed our tires were low, so he let us use the air compressor to inflate them. A great example of how they take care of their customers!

Everything was excellent. Went in with a bucket of rocks/gravel not knowing what it was. Found out I it was Madison Gold. Only ordered 2 tons of the 3/4 inch instead of the smaller gravel for delivery it was a week out but that was fine with me not in a rush. On Saturday before my scheduled Monday delivery decided to add 1 more ton, they were closed so I left a message. I called about 9am Monday to confirm and they had added it to the order and were about to call me for payment it was easily handled over the phone. When they got here to deliver he rang my doorbell to confirm where I wanted the load dropped. The 3/4 inch size looks so much nicer compared to my neighbors on either side. Need about a 1/2 ton more to complete the job. Now to get my brick borders done ASAP to keep my rock separated from the neighbors.

Great resource for landscaping material. I got composted mulch from them here and saved a bundle on what I would have paid purchasing it by the bag at home Depot or other big box stores.

I called to ask about some 3/8 coral. I wanted to see what the coral looked like as well compared to the existing. Tom, the guy who answered the phone, showed phenomenal customer service and has went above and beyond to provide me with pictures even though thats not something that they deal with( assuming from experience with other material companies), but because I am out of town he went out of his way to help me out. Greatly appreciate that kind of customer service that you dont see very often. Thanks Tom!

Great little landscape supplies for gravel or dirt. Real quick service! I drove up with my pick up told him I needed some screened dirt. Walked into their office to pay and they already had me loaded up. I’ll definitely be back again.

Had 2 seperate large orders 1 week apart. First one pd in full after delivery. 2nd load scheduled did not show. The following day the load was delivered & done just prior to 5 pm. At 7:00am my phone showed 8 calls from them. Calling them back (7:30am) i was treated RUDELY for asking them about appropiateness of 8 calls at 7am & TERRIBLE treatment about bill- which had not been left but I made immediately to them. ?

Fantastic experience!! I had been trying to work with a competitor for pea gravel purchase - three times I tried and three times I gave up due to rudeness and their lack of firm delivery day. So I looked for another company and saw 5 star rating for J & J. So I called them up. I was met with a pleasant and courteous person on the phone and a firm delivery time. Not only the day but also a 2 hour timeframe. When I arrived at their location I was again met with super nice and polite people. 10 minutes later the order was complete and I was on my way. This company deserves more than 5 stars, I give 10. Just call with an inquiry and you will see what Im talking about. Oh yeah, their prices and delivery was also less than the other guys. Ive been dealing with them for almost 30 years and never had an issue.They have always been friendly and helpful. Their drivers are always helpful. The last load of stone I got, the driver recommended that I close the garage door to keep the dust out and waited until I did.

Incredible customer service there very friendly, still gave you guys 5 stars but was kind of stumped whenever I was paying more for 1/2 ton of sand wet than a 1/2 ton of sand dry so I was paying for a lot of water weight but other than that I really enjoyed my experience there and well continue on coming there for future projects

We were told by a neighbor that we needed 3/4 of crushed rock material for our entry and exit drive way that had been washed out by last summers rain. He highly recommended us to go to J & J Landscaping materials. We kind of picked out the rock type material described by our neighbor and told the manager and helper there that we were putting it on our road. Nobody gave us any advice. One of the men who we saw in the office brought it out. We met him at the house. We discussed with him that it would need to be spread over the road. He dumped it but although they told us he could spread it as he dumped it (after it was down he said he didnt have the right kind of dump truck. We thought it was too much material, and never once did he offer any advice, like this really isnt what you put on this type of road. Then he went back for another load. When it was all done he didnt say anything. We couldnt believe what was just done. NO ADVICE whatsoever. We asked them if we got a loader if they would come get it. Of course the answer was no. So it is costing $2000 to have it piled off the road so cars could drive on it. Bad advice from the neighbor, no advice from J&J. Go to a professional for advice, and thats not J&J! Most people concerned about their customers wouldnt have done that to us. And we didnt know any better until we tried to live with it. Had $1339 in the material. A friend went in (not knowing they were the people we had bought it from) and asked them who in the world would sell that kind of material (ABC is what it was) for a private road. They just laughed. Boy did they see us coming. So $3339 later we would never tell someone to go there. And we never will again.

Ive always had good luck with J&J Landscape although I do understand some people have had bad luck with them I do have to point out that Im a landscape designer by trade so when purchasing material from my suppliers I always investigate into what Im purchasing if its top soil I always ask for a sample & take it to a my local nursery & ask them too test it for me especially if Im using it for plants as far as granite & such related materials well its common sense to what your buying you have to speak up & tell them you want the granite from the top of the pile rather from the bottom its alot cleaner material if you do it that way. I hope this helps some of the amateurs & weekend warriors out there. Just like anything in the world you would buy make sure you do your homework.....

I would never purchase anything more from J & J Landscaping. I ordered 8 tons of riff raff, the very large table mesa rock, at $53.00 a ton. Only 30% of my order was the actual large riff raff that I ordered. I got about 30% of smaller riff raff that I could still use but the last 40% was dirt and small rock. I had to dump 8 full wheel barrels of this dirt and little rock into the wash next to my house and my project is unfinished. I expressed my concerns to Tom and he passed the buck and blamed the pit from where they bought it from. Tom told me there was nothing he could do for me as the owner of the business did not seem to care that he had a dissatisfied customer. J & J Landscaping lacks in quality of merchandise as they do not stand behind what they sell. They also could use a few lessons in what customer service should be. They do not seem to care if you are satisfied because they already have your money. I left it with Tom to get back to me as he was going to talk to the owner again, but guess what? Tom never called me back. Shame on you guys!
