I thought their service department was trending upwards since the last time I came for an oil change but instead, they have gone backwards. Made an oil change appointment for 7:45am Friday 10/15. Got there and advisor quoted me “about an hour or less”. Waited in their trailer area since they are doing some renovations. 1.5 hours go by, nothing. Go ask about my vehicle and same guy simply says “gonna be about another 20 minutes “. I spent 2 hours and 15 minutes ago waiting on a basic oil change. Now I understand some places are short staffed for whatever reason but to not check in with your customers about the extended wait time is unacceptable. I had to basically go check on my vehicle and let them know it was ready since I see them bring it around from the “car wash”. They left wet/oil stains on my driver side carpet and passenger seat. Finally they had my paper Work done and they still can’t comprehend that I have their MPP plan that covers oil changes, it’s in their system but they do this every single time. The advisor didn’t even let me know if everything was good on my car or if I needed anything. I gave this place a 3rd change and they can’t get it right. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. This place is horrible when it comes to their service department. Clay Cooley, get people in there that care about what they do and have a sense of urgency when it comes to customer service.

Too rigid with the Pandemic Pricing! As much as I wanted to buy a vehicle from them, they were not interested in selling one. Too concerned with my method of payment, cash or finance. The sales guy really needs to be careful when going back and fourth with his manager...I heard you! Not good customer service! Dont fall for the Connected and Protected fee hustle of $995 either! Took my business down the block and got a really good deal...single payment and done! Good customer service goes a long way and seals the deal. Thank you SW KIA MESQUITE!

Alexander Altaan is a phenomenal sales associate. Hes extremely knowledgeable and was flexible with meeting our vehicle needs. Weve been looking for a specific Tucson for awhile within the area (500 mile radius) and he was able to locate exactly what we were asking for. I highly recommend coming to see him for your Hyundai needs.

Have gone in for new tires, and a new windshield on top of my normal maintenance. They seem to take care of me every time. I know they are going through the renovations at this time, but they still keep in touch and let you know things up front.

Very disorganized. My sales rep is awful at communication and it usually takes 2-3 tries to get him to respond. Still waiting on my trade in go be paid off and I’ve already made another payment on it since the agreement. Was told dealership would be cutting the check but am now told the bank will be? Sounds like no one knows what they’re talking about. Unfortunately while the car I got is great, the service here is awful.

They are under construction but still find a way to make sure everyone is taken car of. i have never had a long wait long for service and the sales department seems to go out of their way to make sure they find exactly what you are looking for. I can not recommend this place enough people who actually care about customers and care about you leaving happy

Stay Away From This Dealership!!!!!!!I purchased my new vehicle on 09/23/2022, a new 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid A.W.D. SEL. I love the vehicle but two days after I purchased it developed a bad rattle in the front dash and the plastic housing from the rearview mirror came off while I was driving it. I called to place service from the dealership, Clay Cooley Mesquite and was told that I would probably have to leave it for an extended period of time for them to diagnose and that they had no loaner cars or rental cars available for me. I have no way to get to and from work. I am a front line worker and work 65 hours a week I have to have a car. I realize because of the Covid pandemic cars and parts are in short supply and I am sensitive to this but this is a brand new vehicle! The dealership should make this right as it is brand new! Also as of today(16 days after purchase) the dealership has still not paid off my trade in vehicle as outlined in the contract with them. My finance manager said it would be paid off in 10 days. I called the dealership and talked to a man whom I believe was the Internet sales manager and he flat out told me that their accounting department is a disorganized. Really who admits that to a customer? Keep in mind they currently have my trade in vehicle that they have not paid of listed for sale already on their website and they havent even paid of the loan on it! They have 9 more days (25day max) according to Texas State Law to fulfill their duties under the signed contract that I have in my possession to pay this trade-in vehicle off before I have the right to seek legal action against them with the state attorneys generals office and local authorities(where I will be reporting this vehicle as stolen!)#DontComeSeeClay

I was called by a salesperson when I asked about a car and was sent to the manager, Wade. Both the sales person and manager tried to talk me out of a AWD vehicle without knowing my situation. Wade immediately started rattling off that they are #1 to which I said that everyone says that. He pointed out he has more cars on his website than anyone else, but the cars are pre sold or in transit so that doesn’t really mean he has cars available. When I said I didn’t want to work with him and there was no longer a need to call me when the car came in he got defensive saying he didn’t want to work with a person like me and hung up. Not wanting to work with each other was the only thing we could agree on.

I would advise anyone looking for a car to beware coming here! The finance representative “Doug” professionalism was very rude (as he waived his hand to brush me off while talking). I was there to support a family member and to find out all his ridiculous “additional” add-on to the purchase price. He told my family member that Clay Cooley charges everyone this fee of $995 regardless. When the additional charge was questioned, he came back with two offers- lowering this so called $995 charge to $595 THEN his other offer was $1195 for a family protection plan? The USED car was roughly 8K (close to 9K) and my family member was planning to place $3000 down payment for her college student. After Doug’s (22 Year experience as he graciously mentioned) shared the purchase price it was right back to the original price for one offer and OVER $10K for the other. The car was a 2014??? I’m very saddened that someone would go to this length to sale a car off the lot. As Doug explained that used car inventory is low....Well, whoever is Doug’s boss - I THINK ITS TIME FOR A PERFORMANCE REVIEW...Or maybe start over with some customer service experiences. I believe he has forgotten.

When I drop my car at the dealership, I was told by the service representative “the diagnostic will only take 3 days and it’s the fastest service comparing from other dealerships” and sure enough 5 days past and I have not received any email, text or phone call form the service department. When I called the service department, the Service Representative informed me they are a weeks behind and haven’t even touched my car yet plus couldnt tell me when I would have my car back. I was struggling to go to work and of course, no loaner car and it would take me weeks and weeks to get a loaner car. I just don’t understand why the service representative didnt tell methis when I drop off my car. It’s seems like their is no communication in the department.It’s very disappointing.

Con artists. Red Flags for all people: Dont accept external financing. Saying that they add 995$ to ALL cars. Lowballing on both trade ins and their counter offer to an already approved loan, was double the APR. Avoid this place.

My sister and I have been driving around all day looking at vehicles from one dealership to another. It wasnt until I called and spoke to Marvin who welcomed us in the dealership and got us exactly what we wanted. We walked into Clay Cooley Hyundai in Mesquite for the first time and did not expect to come home with a brand new 2021 Palisade.All the office staff members were very welcoming, energetic, and very helpful. I can tell they all loved working there, it was something about their environment, we could tell they love coming to work every day. We were treated very nicely by all the staff; Marvin and Alex were super nice, honest, and helpful. We have been telling everyone about our experience and will recommend Clay Cooley and the Mesquite location to everyone we know looking to purchase a vehicle.Thank you to everyone who helped us! Given they had limited inventory (pandemic supply chain shortages):David took time to answer all y questions, he got back to me promptly. He focused on me having a satisfied experience rather than scoring a sale. He was patient and not pushy. I would highly recommend to ask for him specifically. My family and I were traveling back home from Kentucky to Arizona the oil pump went out in our car when we stopped in they didnt know if they would be able to fix it within a few days or not. Jeff the service advisor looked at me after hearing my story and said dont worry well take care of you. They dont accept outside financing. They will tell you well you can just turn around and refinance, but what an unnecessary hassle. The reason they give for not accepting outside financing is that it takes too long for them to get their $. Which frankly, is not the buyers problem and an absurd reason. Like, am I supposed to feel bad that you have to wait for your money? Because I dont care, at all, if you have to wait - and neither should anyone else. A better solution would be to handle their finances more appropriately so theyre not so desperate they cant wait however long for outside financing to be finalized. Regardless, theres also this $995 thing for connected and protected, that no other hyundai in the area seems to charge. And they wont let you opt out of it. Took my business elsewhere and still got the car I wanted 🤷‍♀️Theyre losing business being sketchy and Im not sure why their sales people work for a dealership that has such excessive limitations for financing options. Either they dont realize that their management is screwing their sales opportunities, and therefore their income... or theres a reason theyre working at this dealership (cant pass a background check elsewhere- this is pure speculation, but it makes you wonder huh?) and not a more reputable one. Either way, their sales reps are nice, its the management that is the issue. Pretty arrogant, and hours after I left they messaged me saying theyd make an exception for outside financing but I lose my $500 rebate.I had already put down a deposit for the vehicle I wanted at another dealership and kept the $500 rebate - also wasnt forced into some bs $995 covered & protected package that Im fairly positive hyundai offers as a standard.Also, none of them are wearing masks and covid exists so... shows how much they care about their customers. Trying to milk every cent they can from you all while passing on the plague, smdh. They only put on a mask because I was wearing mine.Just gross, stay away. I feel bad for the sales reps bc their leadership is failing them.

I want to put in a complaint for Christiana Jansen, a salesperson at this dealership. She gave us an offer to trade in our car that we were leasing for a new car. We told them the pay off amount for our old car and she gave us a deal. Today she called and told us that we have to an extra $4263 dollars because it was not included in the payoff amount. This is extremely unprofessional on her part because we showed her the payoff amount and she did not follow up with the other car dealership and instead rushed to make us sign for the car because she wanted to close a deal by the end of the month. She had already charged an extra 100 dollars on the payoff amount we gave her to cover for extra charges but she couldnt even call to check that they payoff amount was correct when Hyundai would be paying off our old car themselves. Not only that but she was extremely rude on the phone and demanded that we pay this large amount of money by the end of the day, blaming it on us and threatening us to bring the car back after already selling away our old car. This has left me and my family in a terrible situation because she cant even do her job correctly.

Either way dont see Clay... When a dealer says they dont accept third party financing it should throw up red flags. Walk away. They do not respect you and will lie about anything. They said due to a third-party taking in excess of 45 days for them to get paid they do not accept them at this time. Hmm...so instead of not accepting that one company or any other that do not meet their standards they will not accept any? That is like Target saying the only form of payment they accept is their store card. The car we wanted was on loan so using them would have been pointless anyway. They proceeded to try to show a car that we did not want and suggest we finance through them then refi with our credit union.No wonder car dealerships get the bad wraps; they deserve them. Even the good ones mislead people but this is intolerable. I will not be dealing with any of the Clay Cooley dealerships and will not recommend anyone to do so now or in the future. Too many other options in the area to waste time. Left them and bought a car from Vandergriff the same day with no financing hassles.

If I could give zero stars for this dealership I would. The finance person Doug accused me of changing the price on a vehicle. I was pre-approved for 66ooo and brought in my paperwork. Then when I asked my sister to come in, he refused to explain all the made up charges to her. He asked us why does he need to explain it twice. I have never been so insulted by an arrogant finance guy in my life! Beware!

I will not use this Hyundai dealer for future services because of the following:-Poor customer service and friendliness-Was told my service would take 60 - 90 minutes in one visit. The service ended up taking two days. Not good expectations set up front.-Was told that I would receive a follow up call on a Tuesday to schedule my return visit. I did not hear from the service department until Friday ONLY because I called to check on the status.-The service department felt chaotic, messy and unorganized. Not sure if its due to lack of training or oversight.-Communication was terrible. I had to continue following up with the department during my visit for updates. They provided a text message number for communication; however, when I texted no one would respond. When I did speak with staff they were not friendly.-There was one girl in the cashier/service department that ended up taking care of the service work when I couldnt find my original service rep during the visit. She was very helpful, polite and ended up getting the service work completed.

The Service Representative informed me they were 2 weeks behind and couldnt tell me when I would have my car back. Of course, no loaner car either. My problem is, why didnt you tell methis when I set up the appointment....before I wasted an hour of my time!!! I drove away very disappointed with the experience.

Go to this service department be ready to get skinned alive. True story. Took my car there for a leaking transmission cooling line at a connector connected to the radiator. Simple thing but wanted a professional mechanic to look at it because after all it was the transmission. Invoice say Quote: Tech found transmission line at radiator leaking. TRIED TO TIGHTEN AND FOUND THE NUT STRIPPED. Recommended to customer to replace RADIATOR, transmission lines and fill transmission with fluids and coolant. Customer declined repairs at this time. Wondering why I declined. Heres the quote start with a $800 dollar Radiator. Hoses, fluid and coolant. Parts $958. Now lets throw in labor for a grand total $1692 plus tax. Over $1700 dollars now back to invoice. They charge me $55 labor, a misc. Charge that reads Quote:customer pay shop supplies for repair order - $8.25 What? Plus 0.68 cents tax. Total $63.93for a complete lie as you will see. I walked out of there and put my hand on my back pocket to make sure my wallet was still there. Immediately I drove it to RJ auto repair in Balch Springs. Next day he called me and said all he had to do was tighten the NUT THAT THE PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC AT CLAY COOLEY SAID WAS STRIPPED AND THAT I NEEDED A $800 DOLLAR RADIATOR. So he tighten the nut, cleaned it, and filled it with transmission oil for a grand total of $70. The same I just paid for a worthless recommendation. Im driving it the same day and it runs good and no leaking. Just driving by the place makes me feel amazing how lucky I was to get out of there alive. I wonder if I will get an answer from the owner on this one.

Well???? I purchased a 2021 G90. My sales man was Diego with the assist of Terry. I had a very good experience! The experience I had was different and a lot BETTER from when I purchased my 2018 G80 in 2018. There wasn’t a lot of pressure or rush! Peggy in finance was engaging, but informative and patient. All of my needs and questions were met. They kept their word and came picked up my G90 for window tinting and dropped me a brand new Genesis to drive until I got my car back (unlike the previous owners of this location). My children received snacks and drinks to comfort them during the LONG TO THEM WAIT, a big bonus when you are buying a car and have your children, although it didn’t take the entire day?! I got there at 6pm and left with my G90 by 10pm!

Our 2016 hyundai sonata just quit working while we were on the frwy. Come to find out theres are all. We tow it to mesquite hyundai. This was 7-2 2021. Jeff assured us wed have our car on the 5th. Ti no avail. Then we call him on the 10th to be told wed have it on the 15.. we call on the 15th and now the engine has not arrived. But everyone else engine showed up. Then he told us he had 5 engines drop. The next day we ask about the engine and Jeff tells us they dont have a tracking humber for my engine he ordered. Weve not had our car for 17 days. All theos engines came in but ours is not. T hers no tracking number. My car was tge fursr in there but Im the only one without my car. My skin color isnt right. Tgen tge had tge nerves to stop talking to us about our car. Like we have no reason to be concerned about our vehucke. And still they have no loners for us to use. Weve list our jobs. We are unable to move because we jabr no car. We are bout to be forced on tge streets for hyndais recall and clay Cooley hyundai service dept. And they simply dont care

Been trying for hours and hours to get ahold of manager or finance guy about the warranties they offer and once I speak with someone and tell them I need to cancel my warranty because they WAY OVER CHARGE on there warranties, they put me on hold and never come back to the phone. Been waiting 6 hours for a call back from someone and still havent heard anything so I will be making a in person visit next business day and will be going to BBB If dont resolve! I would not buy any of there OVER PRICED WARRANTIES!!!!

I am giving five stars to the service department. They resolved my issue for me, and I really appreciated that. I was in a bit of a bind. I was late for my appointment, but they still serviced my vehicle. They provided refreshments for their customers while they wait, and they were pretty friendly and honest with me. I had a horrible experience! Purchase a vehicle from here last year March of 2020! It’s not even a year and a junk! When I call for service the service manager is never helpful always angry and tells me to go elsewhere! I call to speak to manager he is never available. All the warranty and extended warranty is bull! Full of lies! Don’t waste your time or money! As a single mother I purchased vehicle from here to receive help with warranty. But nothing they said was true!

I recently had my car serviced here that I bought back in July. I had some warranty issues and a recall that needed to be fixed. I had to call to receive updates on the vehicle. The dealership had my car for five days so I had to go get a rental myself since they were out of loaners the whole time. When I went to finally pick up my car, I stood there and waited for 15 minutes. I finally called the store to let them know I was waiting and no one was in service so they transferred me to someone who never answered. Finally, Ron stood up and saw I was standing there and said “didn’t see you there” even though I was just on the phone with the store. Lastly, I noticed my email address was altered in their system and I corrected it when I picked up my car. I never received a survey so I’m guessing the service advisor changed it so I would not get the survey. Not happy with this process.

I would NOT recommend Clay Cooley in Mesquite. The Service Dept. was very Rude. They do not follow up with their word. If they say it will take 60 minutes, you had better add 30 to it. And check your car for any missing parts that they couldnt figure out where they went. Cause thats what happened to my car. They left 3 screws on the floor of my back seat after saying they fixed my seatbelt & airbag. Now how an I supposed to know where those 3 screws go?

The service writer was quick and polite, he took my request for climate control service and explain what it consisted of.Upon leaving the mechanic who serviced my vehicle was also polite and gave me a general rundown on the condition of my air condition.I did not notice one of the line item until I got home and that there was a billing discrepancy. Once I notified Cooley Hyundai, I received an immediate response from the service provider Jonathon. Who was not only apologetic but also went over and beyond to correct the problem, it Is good to have the type of service that I have been accustomed to from my years of service at that location in Mesquite.To the total staff I thank you.

The ladies that help me didnt seem like she didnt even want to help me..she had to keep going back and asking someone questions that I was asking..and while I was standing there waiting for her to come back from asking someone a question she looked at the receptionist and then the receptionist looked at me looked back at the sales ladies and they both rolled their eyes...and the fact they are tacking on $5,000 a car cuz there is a shortage shouldnt be the consumers problem they shouldnt have to pay more cuz of that...I feel like they were looking at me like why are you here you dont have money witch made me mad..I was going to say something about it but didnt want to make a big scene at the dealership

I usually go to Huffines Hyundai in Plano, however, I thought Id give Clay Cooley a shot in Mesquite. Based on the experience below, I wont be returning to Clay Cooley Hyundai:- Fail #1: A part fell off my Sonata and I had to replace it. I made a service appointment and they said they would have the part. When I went to my appt, they didnt have the part and told me I was supposed to have ordered it with the parts department. So, I had to walk over to the parts department, order the part, and then make a service appt to return.- Fail #2: My appt was at 7:30a. I waited for the car to be fixed since I was told it would take 45 minutes. Since I was there, I could see the technicians standing there talking and not doing work. The repair took 15 minutes at most, however, I had to wait until 9:15a to get my vehicle. So, I was forced to wait an extra hour and 15 minutes longer than it should have been.- Fail #3: Billing. This is most offensive. Their hourly bill rate is $155/hr. The job took 15 minutes, so youd think, the fairest charge would be ~$40. They did have the vehicle for 1.5 hours and I understand its not always efficient, so may be $225/hr. But no, instead, they charged 2.3 hours and used as justification something about warranty rates. So, for 15 minutes of work, I was charged $334.For the past 5 years, I went to Huffines Hyundai of Plano and they were always very fair with price/service/etc. Im an infrequent review writer, but felt this was important to share with other consumers. Id definitely avoid Clay Cooley Hyundai of Mesquire for service.

I personally would not come back here. For multiple reasons:1. The prices on the website are not what they were offering. I came in because Hyundaiusa.com was offering 0% interest. On the Clay Cooley website they were advertising Elantras at $18,309. When I get there Im told I cant mix and match the 0% financing with the $18,309 price tag and that I need to pay the MSRP, to get 0% $2000 more than what they have on the web. Even at that on the site it lists MSRP at $20,960 and they charged me $21,255.2. They have a $1700 connected and protected that is mandatory fee with your vehicle purchase. Basically a dealer fee to screw you over and make you buy a service you probably wont use.3. The salesman Alex kept upselling me on an Elantra SEL. And it was how he did it that really bothered me. He said they were out of SEs and his whole style came off like what you would think of with a typical car salesman. He was never rude and his demeanor was friendly, but I did not appreciate how he did things in terms of trying to make it seem like I had no options to get an SE, but only what he was giving me and telling me. I had to keep checking things online and they have SEs at their other dealership in Rockwall, and their website also showed some that were at the Mesquite location. Also he tried to get me to sign papers quickly, and when I looked it over and saw the $1700 charge he said he couldnt do anything about it. First of all, he tried to get me to sign it without mentioning that to me, I had to notice it myself, and I felt like I always had to keep him in check. He did come down on it some, but it still bothered me that its required at all when it should be optional. The dealership chooses to require it because its more money for them.4. This was just annoying, he passed me a paper with blank lines to list references or people I know this dealership can contact to try and sell a car. On the paper it said All our customers fill this out which I thought was really tacky. I did not give them any references and would never suggest this place. Honestly when I went to a Sewell dealership to check out vehicles they were not pushy at all while still letting me know what other options I had. If they sold Hyundais, I would have bought one from them and would recommend that place without reservation.5. During financing, it was advertised on their website that it was 84 months at 0% and that the first payments was deferred 120 days. I was then told that I cant have a deferment, of not 120 but just 90 days, only if I do 72 months instead of 84. So first of all, the deferment on their website was deceitful about the time frame, and second of all they wouldnt offer it to me on the terms they advertised.6. I came in a week before my 2nd visit to test drive a vehicle. The receptionist asked me if I was looking to buy today, and I said no. She went and talked to her manager and said I could only test drive if I had full coverage insurance on my current vehicle, which I thought was kind of weird, cause the dealership insures their own vehicles. I was not able to test drive a car. When I came back again a week later they let me test drive and didnt ask me about it, probably because I was likely going to buy. So basically I was BSd the first time about needing full coverage insurance and it was a convenient way for them to not waste their time as far as I can tell.7. The one thing I can give credit for is they were generally polite and if they had better practices I wouldnt have been as bothered by the whole experience.I dont like the vibe here. Their practices are shady of how they advertise. The Id say its more the dealership than the salesperson overall that rubs me the wrong way.In the future I would rather buy on carvana.com and not pay dealer fees and prices are transparent or go to Sewell where they are not pushy. If you choose to come here best of luck to you.

I got a small scratch a couple days ago and called to schedule an appointment only to be told the sales man does not work there anymore and what he had told me was a lie. We had a better experience now than we have had before at this location, which is now owned by Clay Cooley. Nick Lee definitely did his best to help get our family into a vehicle that fit our growing familys needs, and helped lay out the costs, pros and cons to see which would fit our current financial situation. Although he showed us some high end ones we loved, we ultimately picked a less loaded vehicle, which we still love all the same. Long also helped get us get to our price range, while Jeff explained and educated well on the financial portion of the deal and thoroughly explained what it is we were buying. Although it did take some time for the process of the trade in and purchase, we understood they had a lot of other deals going on during the day we went. Other than that, we had a good experience and recommend checking out Nick Lee, Long, Jeff and this dealership.

I went in on Friday to purchase a palisade. They tried telling me I still owed money on my trade in but I pulled up the payoff quote and proved I didn’t. I should have walked out then but then they worked harder on the payments and got it to an agreeable place. Well when I went into the finance office I was told that the deal I agreed to out there was actually denied and it was going to be 125 more a month. At this point I was late to where I had to be so I signed and left. That was a big mistake! I decided later that night that I couldn’t keep the car and because of their very well advertised 3 day money back guarantee, I took it back in on Saturday. Well when I got there I was very rudely and unprofessionally spoken to by Thomas who is the Internet Sales Manager. I was told that the general manager was not there and that my contract had already been billed so I wouldn’t be able to return the car. I then had my sister who happens to be a lawyer who does contractual litigation come up and speak with him also. He spoke to her the same way and again said the general manager, Long Nguyen, wasn’t there. He said he didn’t care that she was a lawyer and got up and left.We asked the receptionist if Mr. Nguyen was in and she also said no. We drafted an email stating my intentions to return the car and asking for his time on Monday to discuss their blatant refusal to honor their advertisement. Well not two minutes later Thomas calls and says he spoke to Mr. Nguyen and he said to come in Monday to make it right. Well I get there Monday and low and behold, Mr. Nguyen was there on Saturday but he said he was too busy to talk to me.Long continued to tell me that my contract had already been sent to corporate and that he would try to get it back but couldn’t guarantee that he would be able to take the car back. I sat there for 4.5 hours waiting for them to get my contract back. Finally they said they found the contract and it had been there the whole time. After two days at the dealership, I finally got my car back. I have never been treated so lousy and unprofessionally. Their way of doing business is very shady and I will never tell anyone to go there. Not worth it!!

I had an appointment set with Freddy Flores to view a car and neither the salesman or the car was present. On 11/09/2020, I called at 1:00 pm to confirm the presence of a car I was interested in and set an appointment with Freddy Flores for 7:00pm the same day to view this car. I arrived at 7:03 pm and entered the building, not a single employee was wearing a mask or had one nearby (we are in the middle of a pandemic and I am immune compromised). Even though there were several signs throughout the use stating that mask usage was mandatory. Upon talking to the receptionist, they attempted to locate Freddy who was nowhere in sight and seemingly went home. Im sorry, but how do you not know where your employees are? I made a 30 minute drive only to be stood up by a salesman employed by this allegedly reputable company. I chose to ignore this high level of unprofessionalism and recklessness and stayed- only to spend another 30 minutes waiting for someone to become available (several staff members were in sight, on their computers) and show me the car I made the trip for. Jamie, or Jaime, showed up and offered to help. It is through him that I later find out this car was allegedly sold earlier the same day and to this moment I have yet to receive a courtesy call informing me of this sale or canceling my appointment. Jaime and I both agreed that this is a horrendous way to do business and is ultimately detrimental to the Clay Cooley name and brand. Even though he attempted to help and make up for this poor experience by his coworker, I left empty handed and disappointed as this was the only car within my price range. Clay Cooley is known as a family friendly, prestigious as well as serious company and I have yet to receive an apology from this salesman for his lack of respect and professionalism. Most of all, I am highly disappointed as this is my first experience purchasing a car. It is now 11/10/2020, 7:32 pm and this car 2017 red Hyundai Accent is still listed on the website as available. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.

Stay away from this place at all costs. They are liars! They will try their hardest to not honor your vehicle’s warranty! Went in with a car that was fully covered bumper to bumper. The first day they said they could not check the warranty even if the vin number is provided, that the only way they can check is if the car is brought in, The next day they called and LIED that the warranty had expired at 60k miles, impossible when the expiration is until 100k! They said I couldn’t get the car back unless the $150 for diagnosis is paid, mind you that the warranty covers everything!! Contacted Hyundai USA which they did confirm that I will be reimbursed and that this dealer shouldn’t have charged me for anything! Hyundai USA called the dealer, the dealer LIED once again telling them that they provided excellent service and that they had covered the issue, which they did not! I had to show Hyundai USA the receipts of the phony charges to prove that they were lying! Hyundai USA then sends me there one more time saying that they are extremely sorry for everything that happened and that this dealer will make it right. Well 3 days later they were wrong! They promised to fix all the issues that were covered under the full warranty but only fixed one issue! Even though the car’s warranty has literally all the options covered! Went to get the car and received a $1000 charge for the service, unbelievable! It was not until Hyundai USA stepped in once again to clarify that there should be no charge that the car has FULL WARRANTY. Only then was I able to leave without the charge. Never coming here ever again! This is the second time something like this happened to me at this dealer. The first time it was with a tire, the car has free roadside assistance with road hazard tire protection which fully covers all four tires at ZERO COST. Well the car gets towed there, I get there and get a bill of $300 to fix ONE tire THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE COVERED. They said that if I didn’t pay I had to take the car out their lot or else I would get charged for storage fees. I had to take the car out and went down the street to a tire shop and got it fixed. Horrible experience!

Well the buying process was painless here at Clay Cooley but sadly they do not disclose everything with the cars they sell...less then a week from buying one of their brand new cars I had to replace a tire because one of my brand new tires from them was patched before purchase. The patch was done poorly and caused the tire to leak air.When it came to the buying process it was a quick and painless process with Samantha. Usually you deal with people that try to sell you on cars you are not interested in or at a higher price then you are willing to pay. Horrible place ! The sales person was a girl that doesn’t know how to do business! She barely talked to us when she took us to see the car didn’t explain anything I had to be the one asking for everything! They increase the prices way took much and with the monthly payments you end up paying way more than the actual price. The girl couldn’t even talked for herself after i told her that I was not willing to pay that price she went and got her manager ! That man was annoying,basically told me if I really want that car I have to pay that price after he said that it was definitely No for me !
