What a find! Riding around DFW by bike randomly had us go by this place. Never much to tempt fate by entering a bear cave but has to take a chance here.Stopped in for a cup of coffee and were blown away by the style, layout, friendly service, and awesome coffee. Oat milk cappuccino was top notch and the blueberry scone was legit.

This is my go to coffee shop as well as hubby’s! We try to come every other week because why not?!?! When you walk in you feel so relaxed. Staff is super friendly and attentive with all of our questions!

It was so nice to visit this coffee place! A wonderful and chilled vibe, very art oriented. You can enjoy a great variety of coffee flavors ( they had almond milk, my favorite!) While sipping my drink I had the opportunity to enjoy the paintings from a young local artist that was there at that moment. He explained how grateful he was to had an space to show his art. I will come back! Very safe in this covid-19 times!

I liked the options of their coffee, the flavor, the place had different sitting options and even a cub corner where my 2 year old could sit on a stool and color on pumpkin paper..(THANK YOU!!) Also, I LOVED the art on the walls for sale! The staff was nice, the place was clean.. I will be coming back. Thank you guys

This is a nice cozy little place. The coffee is DELICIOUS! The staff is super sweet, and the prices are good. There is a nice variety, and they even have assorted pastries. Would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Cute shop, nice staff, decent coffee. I love that they seem to have local art on the walls for sale. Do wish they would have had some signage relating to mask usage as I wasnt sure if I needed to wear mine or not. I got the iced smokey the bear lattee with almond milk and tbh I couldnt taste any flavor to the latter at all, but it wasnt bad. I would stop in here if I was in the area again.

My absolute favorite coffee shop in Mesquite! They have their own unique latte recipes that you won’t find anywhere else and great quality coffee. I love how cozy this spot is and they do their best to collaborate with other small businesses. The staff is friendly and personable. They have alternative dairy options as well as a few sugar free syrups!

Absolutely supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!I came here the other day and it is amazing, the coffee is great, the people are super friendly and made me feel special. I talked to the owner for a while about the history and learned a lot about the shop. I highly recommend this coffee shop! The best part is that now I dont have to drive into Dallas for a quality coffee shop.

I LOVE Bear Cave Coffee. I usually get the Iced Salted Carmel Mocha and each time it tastes amazing! This is the first time I’ve seen the chocolate chip bundt cake and I can’t wait to try it!Great people that sell great coffee! I love Bear Cave Coffee! Tasty coffee, great place to study, and friendly people. I love that it’s in the heart of downtown Mesquite and just 5 mins away from home. I’m a big fan of their Sunbear and their seasonal Smokey Bear. Can’t wait for Wednesday to come around. Yum!!

Wow! Great little coffee shop in Mesquite. I stopped by around 7:30 tonight.The gentleman who took my order was super helpful and recommended a drink to me. I ended up ordering his recommendation, which was a vanilla latte with extra caramel.The drink tasted great. It seemed well crafted with high quality espresso. The pricing was also very reasonable.I definitely recommend this coffee shop.

Honestly I was both excited and apprehensive to see a craft coffee shop in Mesquite. Had an espresso and a drip coffee...both excellent! My brother got the “Sunbear” which was a vanilla/caramel latte similar to a Starbucks caramel macchiato and he was happy too. Kudos Bear Cave!

What a great place the gentleman behind the counter was so friendly and willing to tell me about the specials considering I had never been there before.

I go here with my friends almost every Friday after school and I absolutely love it. such a nice and comfy atmosphere with all the board games and the comfy couches. The owners there are super sweet + the coffee is really good and I don’t have to wait very long. 11/10 would recommend :))

Finally a little cafe opens up in Mesquite! It is a cute shop with high potential with its space. Would definitely have studied here as a young student years ago if they had opened, but Im so thankful it is here in the center of Old Mesquite. The coffee is great (good espresso, quality milks/alternatives), they have housemade syrups, and they offer a student discount! Service is friendly and family-operated. Looking forward to seeing them grow!

I really enjoyed my visit to Bear Cave Coffee. I enjoyed the low-key chill aesthetic of the space and the friendly staff/owners. I ordered the cold brew with Oat milk and it was a really good smooth cold brew.Downtown Mesquite seems like an odd place to open a mom and pop Specialty coffee store but I hope they stay in business for a long time. Its something that is needed in this part of the metroplex and its REALLY good. I cant wait to try some of the espresso drinks.

Me and my girlfriend finally got a chance to stop in today and grabbed 2 sunbears. Both were delicious. There also happened to be a couple of vendors set up in old town mesquite. There was a seamless transition from the smiling faces inside to the ones in the outdoor market. For someone who is completely detached from things that go on here, there was a really cool sense of community. Good Job!

Oftentimes, when I go to a local coffee shop, I feel like I am an outsider and that I dont belong. Not so in the place. The guy at the counter was friendly and was quick to give recommendations.

Super friendly family owned coffee shop with delicious coffee and flavor options. Service was very quick and they even have a coloring area for the kids while you sit and enjoy some coffee. Homemade cinnamon roll was absolutely delicious, better than any canned cinnamon roll you can find and even Cinnabon. Loved the atmosphere of the coffee shop! This place is a must try for sure if you’re looking for a new place to get coffee or tea.

They have one of a kind coffees, teas, and other various drinks with a super cozy environment to top it off. This is by far my favorite place to stop in during the week and weekends to pick up a drink.

The coffee shop I always wished Mesquite had.Its been around for about a year now, but I had never stopped by before. My friend and I came in the hopes of coffee and a study spot with Wi-Fi we didnt have to drive 20+ minutes for. We were not disappointed.The lady at the counter was one of the owners of the place, along with her husband that was sitting nearby. She was super helpful in explaining what their different specialty drinks were and even informed us of their student discount (I always forget to ask). They make most of their syrups in-house with the husband coming up with a lot of the specialty drink ideas. I recommend trying out their seasonal ones if youre feeling adventurous. You can also buy coffee beans and stickers.Our drinks didnt take too long and there was plenty of seating and outlets, with the Wi-Fi password posted on one of their bulletin boards. We were there from 5 PM to 6 PM and it was never too loud. The music was the perfect volume and the place had a nice, relaxing ambiance.I got a vanilla latte and it was the perfect sweetness and temperature. My friend got a hot chocolate with a shot of espresso and enjoyed it as well.Will definitely be coming back, for casual conversation, studying, or even just a quick caffeine fix.
