Had some trouble with my ears, I booked and appointment online and they called me and made sure I knew exactly where they were located which I appreciated. I have been a Miracle Ear patient for many years and have always been impressed with their level of expertise and passion about helping you get your life back via different hearing instruments (hearing aids, etc.) A change in insurance during the past year forced me to try another place for my hearing needs and I was not pleased at all with their level of customer service or care. I cant tell you how EXCITED I was when I learned that in 2021 we went back to the insurance plan that included Miracle Ear Mesquite! I called, was quickly given an appointment, and promptly received my new hearing aids. I am happy to report they are the BEST ones yet!!! I am hearing new things daily in different environments and feel like I can be part of conversations with friends, family and work colleagues again. I have recommended John and his staff to many friends and will continue to do so because they truly care about you. If you are looking for the right place for your hearing needs, THIS IS THE PLACE! Was very impressed with John Cabanez and staff! I knew very little about hearing aids, but was surprised by how much information I received. I was unable to keep my hearing aids even though they worked perfectly. Through no problem with the product or the Center, I gave them back. BUT I WILL BE BACK! Go see John!

Customer service could be taught at this Miracle Ear. Took my Mother in for her hearing aid check up and met John Cabenez, the specialist that checks on her. I was beyond surprised at this mans customer service. He is very knowledgeable and explained things in a way that made them interesting and understandable. I was expecting same old Drs appointment but John is different. I’ll be keeping up with this young mans career so when it’s time for me to get hearing aids I can go see him, wherever he goes.

I had received a pair of new hearing aids from a fellow member of my church that were originally bought for her dad who passed away. I have struggled with hearing loss since I was a child so it had been a very long time since I had worn hearing aids or had a hearing test done and I came to Miracle Ear Mesquite not knowing what to expect. John Cabanez did my hearing test and went above and beyond to make sure that I received the proper prescription and was able to transfer the hearing aids I received and adjusted to my prescription. I have been coming here for my past two evaluations with him and both times he has made my visits very welcoming. If you are looking to get help with your hearing, I recommend this location and ask for John Cabanez. He is awesome!

I discovered Miracle Ear in 2017 when I was diagnosed with tinnitus. I was so devastated and didnt know what to do or where to look for help. I went to a couple of doctors with no help.A BIG shout out to Miracle Ear from day 1.The quality of the customer service that I have experienced has always been great.The front office staff always greets me making me feel at home.The Miracle Ear specialists are very knowledgeable and have always addressed my questions and/or concerns.Overall experience with Miracle Ear - soooooooooo grateful for ME - satisfied customer for life.

These people are awesome! I had a problem with one of my hearing aids. I should have made an appointment, I know, but I was having surgery the next week and needed my problem solved. I dropped in close to closing time and they quickly solved my problem. I am so grateful to them! I can’t say enough good things about this location and the staff.

I especially like Dr John Cabanez. He made me feel at ease by telling me what he was going to do before he did it. He explained in detail the different parts of the ear. He was very professional when speaking about hearing problems and really listened and answered when I had questions. I would recommend him to anyone with hearing problems. The lady at the front desk was not very friendly.

The last few years I helped my sister with her appointments, Ms. Stretcher, Carissa was always able to get them at a time good for us. No charge lifetime hearing aid checkups, cleanings, and adjustments were great and the office visits are so comfortable, great friendly atmosphere, thanks to Carissa and Dr, John. The last few months my sister was in the hospital a lot and Crystal was good with helping me keep her hearing aids adjusted and cleaned. I highly recommend this office for anyone needing hearing aids.

My grandpa and I were in a couple of weeks ago because He was not hearing well out of his left ear. I called and spoke to Carissa and she scheduled him for a hearing evaluation. She was very informative and accommodating to my work schedule. We were set to see John and Crystal and it was a 90 minute appt. Filled out paperwork to see the Hearing Specialists. They were very thorough and precise with testing and made the right recommendation . My grandpa is very happy with his hearing aids and back to his social life! We are VERY HAPPY AND THANKFUL for the Miracle-Ear family.

Dr John is such a sweet doctor! Helped my fiancé get his ear molds done and was so kind and outgoing. We had to go back and get more done and he gave us another molding set for free. Great service, also front desk and very helpful. Recommend for anyone who needs ear service.

John Cabanez and his staff are genuinely cordial and caring professionals. No charge lifetime hearing aid checkups, cleanings, and adjustments are a great value.

I took my great uncle to see John Cabañez for his annual hearing test and was amazed by the professionalism and kindness everyone showed my uncle. The office was well prepared and took necessary precautions to protect my uncle and me from COVID-19. Our temperature was checked at the door by Mr. Cabañez himself, while wearing gloves and a mask of course. In addition, all staff members were wearing masks and gloves as well. They also opened all doors so that we would not have to touch them. I also observed them cleaning and disinfecting each surface that was touched.The receptionist was incredibly polite and asked if we cared for a cup of coffee, water, or hot chocolate as soon as we walked in. John Cabañez was so kind and patient with my great uncle as he attempted to explain each step of the process. He joked and laughed with my uncle who is 88 years old, and hates going to any medical doctor or facility. Johns kindness helped put my uncle at ease.If anyone has trouble hearing, I would encourage them to go see John Cabañez at Miracle-Ear Hearing Aid Center in Mesquite.

I thought I might have a hearing problem made a appointment they did a thorough test and said my hearing was fine . I was very pleased with service and they are there for you and do not try to trick you or high pressure you into buying something you don’t need. Even gave me free samples of ear foam plugs. Very good experience !!! I’m glad I came here. I had a good hearing test score & I know where to come back too if I need hearing aids. They take good care of their patients & schedules for future appointments. They keep on top of their patients hearing health.

I have been going to Miracle Ear for a number of years. I started with John then when he got promoted, Katy took over. She is always friendly and help you with your needs. I bought a new pair of hearing aids last March. It took a while to get my left hearing aid to fit because of a major ear operation I had at 13. She kept on it until the hearing aid fit my ear. She is a knowledgeable person when it comes to the products they have. I trust her completely. The other staff member is Crystal. She is friendly and also helps with what you need. I enjoy seeing them when I come in for my monthly cleanings on my hearing aids. If there is a problem with your hearing aids, they will fix it or if they cant, they will find a solution.Mindy Bishop

So glad I came to Miracle Ear. I realized I was having to turn up the music volume a lot more in the car so I sought Dr. Cabañezs counsel and it turned out my earways were very obstructed by earwax! He went in with his instruments and camera and it was neat to see all the gunk come out. It didnt take long at all and now Im able to hear a lot better (and listen to music at the normal volumes I was before). Highly recommend the staff here. They really took care of me!

I rated Miracle Ear nine months ago as five stars. Today it is still five stars. Katy and Crystal are still doing a great job for me. I have to come in every two weeks to get my hearing aids clean due to the wax build up in my ears. They do a good job of getting them cleaned. I will always come to them when I have a problem even though I drive from DeSoto.

Most importantly, I was not rushed or pressured. I had everything explained as many times as I needed to completely understand. I could actually see my ear canal and tympanic membrane on the big screen and it was amazing to see my ear like that. My hearing aids were placed and we went over every scenario every volume, the dos and donts you, the ease of changing batteries and how to store my hearing aids appropriately and keeping them clean. And then we downloaded an app to my phone to where I could change my hearing aids from a general scenario to a crowd scenario and to my favorite, the television watching scenario. I have to say that its a little hard getting used to the tickling in my ear which are the hairs that are being touched and are sensitive as we all know. But I tell you what, I wore those hearing aids out of the Miracle-Ear store and it felt very strange and I had to adjust the sound level frequently. When I got home I laid down to watch TV and nap and removed the right hearing aid because I lie down on my right side. Immediately I felt the difference in my hearing ability. And I had to get used to that because I felt like half of my hearing was gone. But once I settled in and adjusted my volume and clarity on my cell phone app I was able to watch television on the volume setting of 10. My normal is 16 2 20 or 22 depending on the TV show. I couldnt believe it. It wasnt immediate. I continually adjusted the TV volume and my hearing aid volume until I got a good balance and I could understand what was being said having my TV on the lowest functional volume and my hearing aid on the lowest functional volume and clarity. I watched TV for hours and fell asleep with my hearing aid in my ear. The next day I was awakened to the call from Miracle Ear, the one to make sure that everything was going well and to see if I had any problems. The only problem I had was the tickling which I got accustomed to as much as possible and the feeling of suddenly not being able to hear once I took out my hearing aid. But I felt like I needed to give my ear arrest for a little while. What troubles me is that I just cannot recall the name of the young man who was so incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful and who called me today to see how Im doing. He was such a nice young man and I wish so much that I could recall his name. Hes at the 1220 North Town East Boulevard office in Mesquite Texas and he is just wonderful. I hope Miracle Ear she takes the time to look at who dis young man is because I was on the verge of ditching the whole process because of anxiety and it was he who reassured me and helped me see and understand and experienced my Miracle Ear and they even found financing for me at a great rate and one that I could definitely live with even though Im on Social Security only. So after day 1 with my Miracle Ear Im going to give it a 10 4 the clarity and being able to watch TV on a much lower volume and a 10 to the young man and Jessica in the Town East office. I have several follow-up visits to attend to fine-tune or discuss any issues. Just maybe Miracle Ear is the best thing Ive ever done. Very very nice and knowledgeable young man walked me through it all. If I could only recall his name.

I went to miracle ear first and I liked there professionalism . I wanted to go to Costco and save money. We thought about it and decided we are going with professionals that deal only in hearing aids and do a lot of follow-up care and maintenance on the hearing aid we think thats going to be important to us in the future.

The Dr. was polite even when he made this comment We cant make the test today because she has wax in her ears. This is very common from people from Latin America. A Lady came from Guatemala or Honduras, she came with an incredible amount of wax and she had a fly or some bug in her ear. The comment was so rude and my thought was How he knows because at this place, they are not performing cleanings. But the worst part was the face of his assistant, an Hispanic Lady who made a very ugly face when she checked my mom ears who is 90 years old. It will be very nice if this assistance knows that she also has wax or cerumen (sehr-RUE-men) in her ears, which is a naturally occurring substance found in the ear canal. Sometimes cerumen can build up and block the canal of one or both years and its common on older age, due to normal aging changes.So, please train the staff with more skills about specific topics. My mom always had the tendency to accumulate cerumen but started been worst in the last 15 years.
