Took my car into the express lane for service. I needed a new headlight and to see what the check engine light was for. I would need an appointment for the check engine light as it couldn’t be done in the express lane but they changed my headlight. When pulling the car around for me to pick up they hit a gate and my car required a fair amount of body work. That incident was Wednesday, October 6th. They put me in a loaner car and sent me on my way.I didn’t hear anything about an estimated time of getting my car for a few days so I followed up and they told me they didn’t have a timeline yet and also told me which collision center it was sent to. A few more days go by and I decide to call the collision center. They told me they hadn’t even started a quote on my car yet. This was Friday, October 15th. I then called Bergeron asking why nothing had started and was told a lot of cars were damaged in Ida. I understand but would have thought a dealership would have been able to push something forward on a vehicle they damaged but oh well.Then Friday, October 22nd I get a call saying my car is done. I go an pick it up, make it around the block and pull back in. The steering wheel was 15 degrees off center, the traction control light was on, and I had a tire with low air. I tell them all this and am back in the loaner. They attempt fix the issues and I get a call yesterday October 26th that my car is ready.I go an pick it up, make a U Turn onto Vets toward home and my low tire light comes on again. It’s the same tire and the same PSI as it was a few days ago so I think maybe they forgot to fill it. I go to a gas station and fill it no big deal. This morning I wake up and it has dropped 12 PSI over night. I now have an appointment this afternoon where I bought the tires to get the leak repaired since they do it for free. I’m also going someplace else because I now think Bergeron just put air in the tire and didn’t check for a puncture and I no longer trust them.Edited to add I had no issues with the tire ahead of time and if I could find they initial check they did, it did not note any issues either.
I just bought a ram truck, and I must say this has been the best auto buying experience ever. I came from north Texas to buy my truck . The transaction began on line with Philip in the used car division. Philip was completely efficient, with photos, texts and calls. When I arrived the truck was exactly as described. No tricks to get me here, no gee I forgot about this and that. No bait and switch. Just a good honest person I always dread going into finance. Auto finance offices are usually like a boiler house environment. Not so with Neal. Neal was very laid back, efficient, knows exactly what is going on in the finance business, and my interest rate was very good. If you need a great deal on New car or truck, go see Philip and Neal for a good honest deal in a dealership which is owned by the same family for over fifty years.
Five stars for Bergeron Auto and its employees! I had a wonderful experience buying my first Jeep here. The staff, especially Lionel (sales) and Neil (finance), went above and beyond. Lionel was extremely knowledgeable, patient and did all he could to help me feel comfortable and confident in my decisions. As a first time buyer, it was paramount that I worked with someone I felt I could trust. Im so thankful to have gotten just that with Bergeron through Lionel and Neil. 100% would recommend.

I recently bought a 2021 Jeep Wrangler from Eddie, the most knowledgable salesman/technician that I or my parents have ever done business with. A Jeep connoisseur would best describe him. I am very happy with my new car, which also happens to be the first car Ive purchased. He made it very easy and made me feel comfortable every step of the way; down to asking if we wanted water, if we were cold and whether my parents and I were comfortable while we waited on processing paper work. Alexis in finance department was a great guy to have in finishing up the process and just to talk to during the process! Big thanks to both of those guys!
We had a great experience buying a truck from Blythe. She was awesome. Everyone at Bergeron made the process quick and easy, no back and forth and BS. It was the only pleasurable car buying experience I’ve ever had. The staff stayed late since we drove in from out of town, but they didn’t make us feel like we were imposing. Worst experience ever! I had made an appointment for today over 3 ½ weeks ago. When I went for my appointment this morning, I was told I could leave the car, but they wouldnt even look at until next week. Umm, what was the point of the appointment then? Do yall think people have nothing else to do? Or that we have all this money to burn on a rental while you have our vehicle for a week. Absolutely ridiculous! Unfortunately, the problem is in my computer that only the dealer can read, but I guess Ill just continue the way Ive been doing since you cant fix anything in a timely manner
Let me just start off by telling you, if your in the market for a Chrysler product stay away from Bergeron. At first our experience was pleasant, we ordered a jeep, put some money on the car, which we were told, there would be know problem getting out money back if we changed our minds about the car . We where then told they would call us and give us updates on what was happening with the car, we never heard a word from them. When a month went by and still heard nothing, I found out from a friend who works for another dealership, we would be lucky if we got the car in 6 months, which we were told by Bergeron it may be 6 to 8 weeks for our car to come in. Needless to say I didn’t want wait 6 months for a car, so when we asked to get our money back, they forgot who we where, . They would not return our phone calls, I even called Chrysler themselves and they told me there’s nothing they can do, because they don’t get involved with the dealerships, so what freaking good are they? Needless to say the only way we got our money back, my husband actually went to the dealership and caused a scene, and then, they couldn’t even find the paper work that showed they even ordered the car. So I ask, how long you think I would have waited for this car? Stay away from Chrysler, because if you have any problems with your car or the dealership, the company won’t back you up.
The sales team was great. The process was quick. They helped me to get my car back to Broussard, LA and I am grateful for that. The only problem that I have had is getting the WiFi in the car turned on. I have talked to the sales person and to AT&T and have still not been able to turn it on. other then that every is good.ThanksKenneth
I tried calling the used car department. And i started asking questions. Their response was you need to look on line. When I started to explain kept getting cut off. Obviously they dont need money at this dealership. Tried to call back to maybe get another salesman even the receptionist told me to look online. Well I guess I will have to look online. And other dealerships
Poor communication the manager of the used cars . set me appointment. To look at a vehicle that he him self failed to check first to see if they had the vehicle. Before telling me yes it was in stock. Waste of time and gas. Sales associate will not greet you are speak on arrival. Very rude. In the new care sales Dept. The receptionist ask one of the,sale guys were he with a customer he said yes. As i was escorted to the used car lot watch the same guy ride around while i look for help. But never had a customer. To begin with. Very poor service .

Wife and I go to the sale department to ask about how we can get the windshield replaced on our new 2021 jeep gladiator overland that has already been replaced twice since we bought it in March 2021. We explained to him that their is a replacement windshield called gorilla because the manufacture windshield is a piece of trash. Customer service was very horrible. We want given any assistance or alternative. I will never by a Chrysler vehicle again. This vehicle cost to much $50k+ to have this type of issue. We have been going back and forth with trying to get this replaced.
Ordered a new truck which took a month longer to get than I was told, but the main thing is the price increased $6k more than when I ordered it. They gave the excuse that that is what the manufacture is charging them. I would have walked out but I kind of needed the truck. Have a backup plan if you go to this dealership and remember they are trying to get every cent from you. Also remember to use the survey from the manufacturer as a negotiation point.
I am very happy with my truck and the deal I received from Cannon Rico and Bergeron auto. The after service was excellent. I have already recommended two people to use Cannon Bergeron Auto.
Do your research!I decided recently that I wanted to upgrade my 2018 Rebel for a newer model. I found Bergeron Auto and decided to do some research. I wanted to see how there service department was before I pulled the trigger on trading in my truck. I scheduled an appointment and the earliest they had available was a month out! I asked the advisor what if my truck wasn’t running and she confirmed I would receive the same scheduled service date. I reluctantly scheduled the appointment anyways. I dropped my truck off on my appointment date and two days later my truck had not been looked at and the technician confirmed he would need another day to get to it. No one had even looked at it after a month of waiting for an appointment and two days in there shop! I told the technician if he couldn’t get to it immediately I would pick my truck up and his response was “I’ll have your keys ready at the front desk”. Why would I buy a $70,000 truck from somewhere that can’t even service it? If my truck wasn’t running it would be out of use for 5 weeks? Buyers, make your salesperson put a clause in your contract that requires them to service your vehicle within so many days or walk away!
Recently traded in our 2012 Jeep for a 2021 model. Great experience all around, from test drive to purchase and financing.
So I still think they a pricey, but its the dealership. Maybe hire more people in service, like mechanics, runners, oil and lube guys. To assist with the high demand and already high prices.But I must say the work that is done is very good. Slightly overpriced but very good, and certified. Thanks Chris, you are over worked and underpaid Im almost certain.
Worst car buying experience ever. Gave us the run around for 2.5 hrs and ultimately they decided somewhere during the process they no longer wanted to honor the Jeep affiliate reward program pricing. Rather than being honest, made excuses about problems with completing the sale. Left and bought a Jeep from a competitor that day.
There was a fuel pump relay recall on my Grand Cherokee. It will not start and is not able to be driven. I called to schedule an appointment...the first appointment is in 7 months! I said was unacceptable to not drive my car for 7 months, they said that it is not their fault...I should call the recall hotline. I called and the recall hotline told be the parts are available and i need to call the dealer. I called back and received an arrogant response. I called another local dealer and my car will be fixed in 3 days! Bye Bergeron!
Tried to call for service for a safety recall, was hung up on, called back, said politely that I was hung up on, no apology made, nothing was said actually, and then sent to a department that wasn’t available.

My husband and I each recently bought a vehicle from Bergeron and in the 30 years that Ive been buying cars this was by far the best experience EVER! Most car buying experiences are painful, leaving you at the dealership for 3 to 4 hours or more. I was in and out in less than 2! Jacques Legrand is the best sales guy! He was just so nice and easy to talk to and not pushy at all. And Neal Poche in finance was amazing! So personable and treats you like hes known you for years. He explained everything to us and was very honest. I highly recommend Bergeron!
Love my new car. People .... go visit Bergeron Auto but make sure to not see Joe M at Bergeron Auto.He did everything he could to not allow me to take this mustang home. The finance lady also either didnt make enough money or she has too much to do but they closed the deal by giving me a 14% interest rate!!!! Joe closed the deal by being rude to my father and lying to him about checking credit again! My car wasnt financed till 1 month after I had it home. I love the dealership but thank god I took the car home because if it was up to them, I sure wouldnt have it!
Josh is very nice but seems incompetent of the simplest communication. Also they hard pulled my credit several times from different dealers with consulting me about those risks. Very dissatisfied but glad I do not have to work with them again. & who is Lionel Brown? What is the point of picking a sales man if I just get whoever needs the experience. At my first visit I was given fair trade for my car and had a decent finance offer. I was told that the used car manager would purchase my car for the $12,000 KBB value and I could apply that to my purchase or lease.I returned on Monday and was told by another sales manager, who was very rude, that my trade offer was incorrect and my finance rate that was quoted was incorrect. I was very perplexed as just 3 days ago everything was good to go. Needless to say, I was very upset and left the dealership. I have used another dealership and will be picking my new Jeep up later this week.I brought my 2013 Jeep in for service about 2 months ago and was told I needed 2 new upper control arms( according to the service person they were shot) on my front end, New brakes on the back, and that my oil pan was gushing oil.I never had seen oil on my driveway nor did any indicators on the dash indicate I was low on oil.I asked if they could still do the oil change and I would keep an eye for any leaks. I did not get the control arms fixed and brought it to a friend who runs a reprectable tire and auto repair store just down the road. They looked at it and said it was not the control arm but the sway bar, and only one side needed replacement. Also, I had a small leak in the oil pan, and my brakes would need a change in about in the near future and my passenger side sway and control arm were fine.This would have been my 3rd Jeep purchased or leased from Bergeron, however, I will NEVER return, nor steer any business to your dealership. I sincerely hope that you read this and that anyone who does visit this dealership.If I could give zero stars I would.

They lied about my car having work done which negated the warranty when my car never had any work done and when asked how he could tell there had been work done, no suitable answer was given. I’m not sure if I’ve ever done a review for this location but I was inclined to post one since bringing my Dodge to another location. I lived quite close to this location while still living in Metairie and the entire sales team was dope! My go to guy who made sure my ‘13 Challenger and I was taken care of was Mr. Mike (wore glasses). Shuttle service, complimentary food/snacks were always offered, and any offers they had I was made aware of. Great people and service
My salesman was Phillip. He was great my daughter and I each wanted a Jeep and the one she wanted sold the day before, he called to let us know and gave her other options. It was a seamless experience amd I didnt feel pressured. I will purchase from Berferon again.

This dealership has a 2015 Nissan Juke SV listed for $12,000 that I was interested in. I paid a visit to the location and off rip the staff was not so friendly when I walked in. I then proceeded to test drive the car and I liked it (there was an issue with the car I will later mention). I wanted to take the day just to do some more researching the car to make the best decision for myself. I researched the Kelley Blue Book Value, which was between $7,000 to the upper $8,000s. This Juke also acquired 66,252 miles, a previous accident report, and the center console was also broken. I had called again after gathering this information. While bringing up my questions and concerns, asking to explain the cost of the car in comparison to all of this info, the gentlemans tone completely changed (aggressive or agitated). He did not address any of my questions or concerns.The customer service here is at an all time LOW.Thankfully I have a great mechanic who informed me of all the issues that car comes with mechanics will not touch and the many recalls on that specific model. (That has nothing to do with the dealership, but thought would be helpful for those interested in Nissan Jukes).

Went in looking for a Nissan Rouge or Mazda 5 for my girlfriend and spoke with the salesman named Joe. Took both for a test drive and left to go look a a different dealership where my girlfriend found a different car which she purchased after all. Although that was the end of that I was intrigued with a Toyota RAV4 and was treated well when looking with my girlfriend so I decided to go back and look for myself. I went in with no intention of making a purchase that day being that my 2015 Toyota Camry was paid off and I did not think I would be able to get the RAV4 for the price I wanted as well the few other request I made. Somehow Joe was able to make it all happen and now I’m in a car I’ve always wanted. If you are in the market for a car and need a great salesman visit Joe at Bergeron and he can make it happen. He helped me out a lot and I’m a weirdo

Brought my car to get serviced and the loaner was dirty on the exterior and in the interior. Felt like I had to pull teeth to get it cleaned. Sadly during a pandemic, they would choose not to clean a loaner. There was hair on the seats, crud or cigarette ashes near the cup holders/console, and rubble on the seats. I would’ve assumed they’d be delighted to serve a customer a clean car without requested and they’d be even more delighted to clean it upon request. To top it off, their attitudes were not the best. When they talk to you it seems as if they think you can’t comprehend. Serving a dirty loaner, alone, is unacceptable.
In these trying times of the Democratic election infection, its reassuring to know that the people of Jefferson Parish have such a family oriented car dealership such as Bergeron Motors. No matter the issue whether simple or difficult. The employees treat you like family. I have been a loyal customer for over 35 yrs and will continúe to support them with my business as will my family and friends. For us baby boomers who remember pulling into a full service gas station, thats how it feels when you pull into Bergeron Motors. The quality is unmatched.
Service dept. Two attempts already to repair breaks. Once at 2000 miles then again at 19000 miles. Now at 26000 miles still the same problem. This is really sad. Quit band-aid the cars to get em out the door. Then yall selling cars with clean carfax. Then try to resell and the car comes up with accidents on. Sad really sad. Ill fix it myself with my 20 yrs experience since the back yard mechanics cant fix it correctly. Thanks for nothing I will never spend another dime in this dealership. An ill tell all my friends too.

Good luck getting someone on the phone in the service department. If its not the sales department, nobody ever answers. Almost impossible to get an update on your vehicle.
Very professional, clean, good customer service. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation and was out in less than 30 minutes and was told about 45. I will continue my service there.
I called to schedule an appointment to have an electrical problem with my one-year-old Jeep looked at, and get my oil changed while there. The service department rep rattled off the hours where I can get a first-come-first-serve oil change and maybe I could ask someone while I’m there about the electrical issue. Honey, that’s why I called was to talk to someone.Alternatively, I asked a couple people at work where they get their vehicles serviced and both suggested I steer clear of the “wander in and maybe we’ll help you if we aren’t too busy” service model. I will definitely ask your technician’s opinion when I come in, which will be the second Tuesday after Never.
Stopped by Bergeron Auto to narrow my search for a Jeep Cherokee. Michael Noah who I had been corresponding with online was very helpful with finding exactly what I wanted. Even though I started my search for used Jeeps, I found the price for new vehicle with all the features I wanted very compelling. Michael worked with me on the pricing and the sales managers were pleasant to work with, so the entire experience was very positive and happy to say rewarding and that is coming from someone who has walked out of show rooms before because of the games some dealers play. Not at Bergeron. Happy to recommend them to anyone.
Dropped care off for service first thing in the morning. Was then told after 1:30 pm it may not even be looked at today. This was never explained beforehand, as I live in Hammond and am six months pregnant. I was told they cant offer a rental until diagnostics are ran. I will not be a return customer when it comes time for me to purchase a new car. Being stranded pregnant an hour from home is unacceptable. Its even more unacceptable that Ive gotten little to no information from them about anything, and they chose just now to twll me that it may not be looked at or finished today. Thats ridiculous.

I needed the code to program additional keys on my 2012 Ram truck, and they wanted $50 to put my VIN into a computer and give me a 4 digit code. Ray Brandt did it for free. Apparently Bergeron is the type of dealership that has to nickel and dime their customers. Definitely wont be buying my next truck from them.
The all new Ram 1500! All I can say is WOW, they have really changed the game with this truck! I purchased my first Ram 1500 from Bergeron after being a long time GM owner and I couldn’t be happier! But this review is just as much about the all new Ram as it is the incredible service and group of people that makes up Bergeron Auto. I made several trips to the dealership (my own doing and decision) before purchasing my truck. Each time I was greeted proptly and professionally by the staff. I worked with Reece Rico and it was an absolute pleasure! I cannot say enough about Reece, he was an excellent person to deal with and I’m impressed! I spoke with the manager Oscar on several occasions as well, and he is a very down to earth person that I enjoyed conversation with. The paperwork was very well put together and was the smoothest, most efficient way I’ve seen any dealer do it. Neal got me in the office and explained the details of the transaction and options of the purchase in an extremely timely manner. I can officially say I’m a converted GM owner that couldn’t be happier and I highly recommend the new Ram trucks. I can also say that I would recommend Bergeron Auto over any other dealership in South Louisiana hands down! They are awesome and it was by far one of the best buying experiences, if not the best I’ve ever had!
Volvo service department, especially Wesley, is top notch, friendly, and I love the text system that they use to get updates.
They do decent work but take advantage of loyal customers.1. I needed a new battery for my 2018 wrangler, they said they’d look at it and if nothing was wrong I had to pay $165.2. The battery was bad and they charged me $240 for it when Mopar and Autozone sell it for around $200.3. Autozone and O’reillys will install a new battery for free. These guys charged $65 for labor for a 15 minute task.4. And just to make sure I knew I paid entirely too much, they tacked on a $10 shop supplies fee.In summary, I paid a total of $346 with tax just to get a new car battery in a wrangler. Nothing is worse than taking advantage of a loyal customer.
Unfortunately the first review was submitted in error. We had an excellent experience. It was my daughters first car purchase. She traded in a vehicle we had given her six years prior. They did everything possible to make the deal work for her and treated her fairly. She was able to get the Jeep she wanted and is ecstatic. As her father (observer) I appreciated how they explained everything to her regarding her purchase. I would definitely purchase from this dealership.
Amazing car buying experience! My salesperson Joe Maiorana went above and beyond helping me get the perfect car. I showed up close to closing time and he took his time showing me the car and letting me test drive it. The next morning he had everything done and ready for me to pick it up. He even called a few days later to see how I was liking the car and if everything was going fine. Ive never had that type of customer service and Ive bought multiple vehicles in my lifetime. Welcoming and professional team but quite a bad service. I went for a dead alternator and compressor. I sent them a coupe of text messages and left a voicemail and never received an answer. $70 for a partial diagnostic while I dont even know whats the problem with the compressor. As I found a much cheaper solution, I came to the shop to get my car back and unlike what they said, they didnt jump it, so I had to pull over shortly. Fortunately I was followed by a friend with her own car who jumped my car so I could get home.

The Jeep went in for the dash replacement recall. A part broke during the installation so there ended up being a 200.00 charge for the recall after replacing this part. Just seemed very odd to me since it was a recall. Never had something like this happen at Bergeron before.

My car is driving better. However, the parts that I paid for looks old. My rotors are rusty allover, I had someone to look at everything I got done to my front end and all of my parts were either old or used. I thought Bergeron was better than that, but I guess not. I wonder about all the times I got oil changes from you guys now. Did you guys always changed my car with used parts? I dont trust Bergeron quality and integrity of work anymore.

I brought my 2015 Jeep in to find out what was wrong with it. They way over priced me on a break and rotor job by over $200. Over priced me on an electronic throttle center by over $200 and then I tried to pick my vehicle up and they told me they didn’t have paperwork for it. The service dept was closed and the car was on a lift so I could not retrieve my vehicle and that even if I could get it if there was a bill they would call the cops if I left with my vehicle. Even after they couldn’t find the paperwork and all they did was run a diagnostic test on it. I had to wait to retrieve my vehicle till Monday and then they tried to charge me $165 for the diagnostic test. This place is terrible if I could leave less stars I would. They do not rate 1 star. Awful dealership go ANYWHERE else.

Service Department is wonderfully pleasant and very helpful. Having put 6000 miles on my new vehicle, I thought I should get an oil change. I went to the quick oil change line at Bergeron. I was greeted at my car within minutes and was asked if I would like some water while I waited briefly for the attendant to come check me in. When he came, he was cordial and checked the oil change monitor in my car which I didnt realize existed. He pointed out that there was 39% usefulness left on my current oil which meant about 1000 more miles before needing an oil change. I was thankful for the information and honesty. I will return for an oil change when it is actually needed. I highly recommend Bergeron Auto!

After visiting the dealership to inquire about a 2018 Lexus GS350 F Sport, I was disturbed and frankly turned off by the lack of engagement and knowledgeable displayed by the salesman. I walked into the dealership with a pre-approved loan for the car and willingness to purchase. However I left without the car because the salesman made me and my girlfriend feel unimportant and refused to provide basic information about the car. When we asked questions he told us to reference the car’s sticker in the glove box instead of answering us. He also spent most of his time during the test drive looking at his phone. I wanted to make sure you’re aware of how the behavior of one of your salesman resulted in a lost sale.
