This was my first time ordering as I just moved to the area. I honestly tried it because I had a Groupon. But I am very glad I did. The food was fresh and delicious. Steak tips tender and cooked perfectly. Food delivered right on time with a very polite driver who called when he arrived. I am looking forward to trying more items on the menu 😋

Went in for an Uber Eats pickup. Would not have stopped here previously. Ordered fries and some off the shelf items for my Uber eats partner and I. Fries were tasty and made very quickly. Selection of drinks and chips were appreciated. Cashier was very polite. Looking forward to ordering more in the future.

Best food Ive tasted around here. Everything ive tried Oakland ave is super good, tasty,fresh, tender, seasoned perfectly! They have Spanish food as well and everything is in good amounts. I get 2 meals and prices are really good! I cant say enough good about them. The meat is so tender that you can cut it with a butter knife. Wont order from anyone else.

Hadnt eaten in years, had a slice of pizza one day, was phenomenal.Met the owner in market basket one day, he was wearing an Oakland Ave shirt. He said if you really want to try something try the grilled chicken baked ziti alfredo with broccoli.Next time in I ordered it, enormous supply of food great chicken great ziti great broccoli great alfredo great everything! Have been ordering it ever since and will continue.

Ordered me some take out, cheese pizza and a steak bomb, good to go.

These people know what theyre doing. Everything Ive tried here is better than I expected. Best onion rings around. The wings, the pies also the subs. My go to spot.

I see in the comments how they preach about the expectation of the food and service yada yada, when I go in employees are rude, don’t wear masks and they are always clustered. So many people in the front room and such and it’s a hassle to pick up an order, they take their time to the point where it’s excessive it’s honestly just rude. No where to park, and online it says they are “Italian” but I am sure that is untrue. On occasion a child will even be running around the kitchen and such not clean just overall pathetic

Stayed at Double Tree Hotel 2 miles away from the store but they wouldnt deliver. Had their pizza before and it was good but 2 mile delivery is too far apparently

I have been ordering from Oakland Ave Pizza & Subs for 3 years. I have probably tried everything on the menu. I love the food, the delivery people, and the friendly staff that take the orders. It blows my mind to read the negative reviews that people post. This place is THE BEST!!!! I also LOVE the fact that the owner personally responds to every single review!! Not one other restaurant owner in the area does that. That speaks volumes!!

Went here once, won’t go back. Went to pick up my order and there was absolutely no where to park. The signage was so small that it was borderline impossible to find. They had called me to say that they didn’t have two of the things that I ordered (which was okay. I get that restaurants have some limitations on what they have available due to COVID) but make that clear on your menu and online ordering system. All that would’ve be fine and easily forgettable. But we found THREE bones while eating our chicken calzone and ended up throwing away like $30 worth of food! I bit into one and immediately lost my appetite. I understand that these things happen occasionally. But then the same thing happened to my boyfriend! AWFUL experience. Do not recommend and will not be returning.

The customer service from the owner is amazing. Also, each visit I’ve had before hand has been good! This time around though, unfortunately, we got three salads with no dressings. We had to drive all the way back to the place for the person at the cash register to give me 3 dressings with a simple sorry have a goodnight. I know they could do a lot better than this.

I started ordering from this place when I first moved because a family member said it was delicious .However, being a vegetarian and all, I have stopped ordering from here after the fries one day smelled and tasted a bit like chicken that was used in the same oil.This was the first time they ever did that from me ordering there for a whole year. It’s a bit disappointing 😔.Other than that they do have amazing customer service so I would recommend, for meat eaters lol.

I have been so disappointed with this location lately. When I first ordered from this location it was hands down the best pizza in town. The sauce and cheese was on point the pizza was cooked to perfection, the steak and cheese was one of the best in the city. But the last few times I’ve order from here it has been a downer. They messed up my order more than once, when my food came to my doorstep and when I tried it the food was cold and I felt like I just spent money for no reason and the last time I ordered from this location I ordered a pizza with a sub and after an hour and a half of waiting I decided to call the shop to cancel the order. As soon as I cancelled the order the delivery called me 5 mins later. I was so fed up I didn’t even answer the call. This will be the last time I ever order from here.

First and last time i will ever go there. They told me my order would ready in 20 minutes so i get there in 20 minutes and i had to wait an additional 20 minutes for my order, and not only that there is no place to park and way to expensive. Never will i ever go there again... To be rated 4.3 stars i totally disagree...

We are from Pennsylvania and in the area on vacation. We ordered pizza and a steak and cheese sub. The pizza was delicious and the sub was amazing. The delivery was also quick.

Fast delivery it came within 20 minutes ordered a sm steak and cheese only ate half of it some of the steak was chewy and fatty it was okay ... I wouldnt mind eating there again hopefully it will be good ...

Im going to break this place down one thing at a time:Food: I have never had something off this menu that wasnt phenomenal. From the calzones and italian subs to the stir fry wraps and cajun alfredo, this place is on point. Best seasoned food Ive had in this area.Price: New England is expensive, but this place manages to deliver good food without you needing to ask your bank for a loan.Staff: Not once have I received bad customer service. The only time theyve messed up my order was putting steak in the wrap instead of chicken, but Id like to think they knew what was best for me so Ill give them a pass. Did I mention the steak was super good? The owner is up front about business, letting you know when and why there are menu or price changes.Summary: Eat at this place.

I tried there Pizza once and we enjoyed it alot.

The subs are not bad, but I order a meat lovers pizza it was the sorriest meat lovers I had ever seen. They should be embarrassed to deliver a poor excuse for a meat lovers pizza. It only had two different type of sausage and bacon bites. Never again.

When we moved to Methuen we had to find all new local restaurants that are good. Tonight was the 2nd time ordering from this place and I just had to write a review for them because their food is so fresh and yummy!!! The chicken parm sub is AMAZING, the chicken is very fresh, they literally make this thing perfectly, we get it toasted with extra provolone and sauce, so good! Steak and cheese is also very good and the chicken finger subs! Mozzarella sticks and fries come hot and cooked well, the cheese in the mozzarella sticks is actually gooey and not hard and cold like some places! They are really friendly and always deliver on time. I highly recommend this place for subs! You guys are our new go to sub place for sure!
