I ordered a pair of slippers online. I bought this item several yeas ago at their store in Santa Monica, CA. and since they didnt have them at the store I figured I would order online. Big Mistake!!! Its been 5 days and Ive heard nothing --no tracking code, no email, nothing. I called and it was like I was talking with some guy from the 1930s Mississippi (no offense to MS) -- super slow with a heavy accent. I asked where they were located and much to my surprise, they are in Mexico, MO. I was born there. Im giving 2 stars because I know the product will be good (fingers crossed for good luck). but seriously, who would order from this company when it takes 6 days to get a tracking code (he promised but I havent seen it yet). Assuming the order goes out tomorrow, it will be about 10 days from placing the order to receiving it. Seriously? I could have ordered from Amazon and been wearing my slippers last week already. This is 2018, not 1998. Wake up out there, or go out of business.

DO NOT BUY BROOKSTONE PRODUCTS you will not receive any services and money back if broken. They do not care about customers. Even if you buy the extended warranty you will be responsible for shipping and handling.

My review is a bit atypical, but Im proud to post it. I have been a longtime Brookstone customer and have always been happy with their stores and their products, but this is an endorsement for their customer service. Keeping a long story short, I used a box that I received some items I order from them to ship a care package to my daughter in another state. Somehow, the label I attached over the Brookstone label came off during the shipping process and the package was returned to Brookstone in Mexico, MO. A young lady there took the personal initiative to contact me as my name was the only one left on the package to inquire if was indeed something I had sent. She described the contents and sure enough it was the long lost package my daughter was waiting for. Since the box was quite beaten up, she repackaged it and sent it on to my daughter in Oregon. I was utterly stunned that someone I dont even know would be so kind and helpful. Amazing. I will be a loyal customer for life!
