I called with a challenging request and the owner, Marco, went above and beyond not only to try to help me but took the time to educate me about the different tiles, to provide alternate solutions, sent me pictures to my cell with different tile options. Marco blew me away with his level of professionalism, patience, willingness to assist and kindness. I have not met many people out there of this caliber but if you are looking to work with a trustworthy and knowledgeable tile company, look no further! You rock, Marco. These guys are the real deal! Marco helped me find a very particular marble slab that had the exact unusual look I wanted for my marble desk. They put so much time into the work even though it was a small project, and the result is just beautiful. Highly recommend.

Tile by Universal is an amazing find! They have an impressive selection of tiles, and at excellent prices. They beat out all other tile store prices in the area. We renovated our two bedroom apartment in Miami Beach and used their tiles for every surface. Leon, his mom Roxanna, and brother Marco went the extra mile to help us out every time we asked. Don’t buy your tiles from Tile by Universal!! I am very upset and displeased with my purchase from this store. After being reassured numerous times that I was purchasing good quality, Spanish porcelain tile, when the boxes arrived they were labeled made in India. Within a few months, my tiles had numerous chips and they arec completely scratched up. The store does not stand behind their products. They refused to acknowledge the problem and would not take any responisibility. I would not recommend them to anyone.

They do not respond their phone, nor emails. I bought them over 2,000 of an expensive tile, they were two boxes short when delivered and it has been 3 weeks of me calling and trying to get in touch with the, When I drove tot heir store to inquire about it they promised they would find out and call me back and never did.
