Excellent food and great service! I recall the great food items from New York when we would visit grandparents! Great! Great! Great!

Normally, Einstein Brothers has the best egg breakfast sandwiches. I order them often from locations near my house. I decided to get one from the Middleburg Heights location since I was in the area. First, they made me the wrong item which I politely brought back and asked for the correct item. The said theyd make it and I thought all was well. They handed me the finished sandwich and I left. Im not sure how they usually cook them but there was no evidence that heat was applied. The bagel wasnt toasted and the cheese slice was unmelted. The bagel wasnt sliced in half either so it made it rather messy to eat. It was made so poorly that it seems like either (a) the person was untrained on how to make sandwich or (b) they intentionally made it wrong. Either way, its a bad look and certainly not worth my money.

Had Garlic Bagel and Cinnamon sugar Bagel. Cinnamon flavour was too sweet for me. But the Garlic one was yummy with the spicy sauce in between.

7/20/21 and Corporate is still milking the covid situation. Dining room is closed to public. Eat in your car which saves them $$$. No dining room open no future business from me. Ordered breakfast bagel with bacon n egg, assumed bagel would be toasted but it was Not. Guess too much extra effort required for that miracle to happen. Aside from that the servers were very nice and the bacon n egg was very good. Just open dining room fix the ice maker and toast the breakfast bagels for the love of Einstein n you can easily score five 🌟.

Girlfriend wanted Powerbars, called ahead and had them hold 4 in my name. Arrived, and indeed they had them set aside in my name. Ordered 4 additional bagels, paid and left with my bag. Got home, in the bag was my four bagels but no Powerbars, rather someone else’s two sliced and toasted bagels. I called the store and they admitted the Powerbars were still there and I could pick them up today or tomorrow. I said I thought I would need some compensation due to the fact I was looking at a 20 mile round trip and gas money to get the order right. She said the manager was on break and I could talk to her when I got there. So 45 mins later I arrive and the manager (Manny?) is still not around and the counterperson said she can’t credit me but they threw in a couple extra Powerbars, and besides I didn’t bring back the random toasted bagels as if someone would want to eat bagels I had already sniffed and handled. Instead she threw in the last 3 bars in the case that would’ve been pitched when the store closed an hour later.I understand mistakes are made but why wasn’t there a decision maker on duty who could properly rectify the situation? Or why didn’t the counterperson feel empowered to call the manager on break and get an authorization? I had a slight mixup at an Einstein’s in Nashville and to my amazement the kid comped an entire dozen which was above and beyond the call of duty.OK it’s only bagels, or Powerbars, and it’s only $15, but I lost over 2 hours of my day and a couple gallons of gas and left feeling pretty aggravated. It doesn’t take a lot of effort to make or retain a loyal customer.

This is my go-to bagel place! They have a great selection of bagels and spreads. They also have amazing smoothies. The best place to go when youre on a rush and need to grab something to go!

Fast and order is always accurate. Love the dog bagels at the checkout counter! For something different, try the pizza bagel with or without pepperoni and for dessert, the chocolate chip coffee cake is amazing!

Ordered a thinned out nova lox. Was not thinned out, no schmear and no capers. Called to let them make it right, they put me on hold forever!

The food is great, but the service isnt very friendly. Both times Ive been here the ladies taking the orders seem as though they are unhappy to be there. There is one lady who cashes you out that is awesome and always friendly, although I dont recall her name.

Bagels are very high quality, and the place also offers a variety of other good foods, snacks and beverages for brunches, with Wi-Fi and great service including ordering ahead of time over the phone for pickup later.

Ok Im 58. Ate a few bagels over the yearsAnd yes I was hungry, this place A#1.Lived in Houston TX., also. Had a few bagels there also. Water quality has a big part in any dish. Hands down best cinnamon raisin bagel ever. Top it off staff alert and content with their job. Go figure

Einsteins is great about accommodating our book club. The coffee and bagels are delicious. My favorite is the spinach-swiss-mushroom-egg breakfast sandwich. Also, they have an excellent rewards program!

If I could give this place a negative star I would! Save your $13 and don’t come to this place. I ordered two bagels. Two different kids and specified to guy at the register what I wanted. I said it twice. After I received the WRONG bagels after specifying what I wanted. He just ignored me and walked away not even an apology!!!

I come here every week for a batch of bagels for the week for breakfast or sandwiches or what have you. Every week I have fantastic high-quality Bagels they even give you a few bags so that everything stays fresh and not like its everything bagel friend. The staff is always Pleasant the food is always high quality the restaurants always in Peak Condition its really just a fantastic place to go and grab a bite or to stock up on bagels for morning breakfast

Good bagels and bakery but they tend to run out quickly so get there early. Prices are a little high when you add butter, cream cheese, etc. to your bagel so its better to buy them plain and add your own toppings/spreads.

I had been to EBB in many states and this has been by far the worst. I can rate them zero or below in every aspect.Service and attitude or the people here at this place is as if they are doing a favor to you, seriously?....Over the last 4 years I have seen the quantity and both quality of the bagel sandwiches or the cream cheese filling going down hill..The coffee is warm at the best and full of grounds.If you request for a fresh brew,they give a look at you and just ignore... You will have to wait for a while and Leve... Disgusting place...

I hate being the negative nellie, but this was the first time that we had visited this place. The coffee was excellent the service was so so. When we first walked in we didnt know what to do and the staff was just talking to each other when I went to place my order with a very first person she very negatively told me that I only do coffee you place your orders down there! Okay thats done the bagels were good the coffee was great everything was clean

Good location, but staff wasnt well versed in the menu items. I ordered a latte, but got a drink with flavoring and whipped cream. A customer brought back his breakfast sandwich that was not to his order. Staff did not keep up with refilling the coffee dispensers.

I used to love coming here to the Middleburg Heights location but in the past month all I’ve had is problems. Last month I received an email stating bring a travel mug and get a free coffee plus a free refill for a month. So I decided I could go with my travel mug to grab something to eat and utilize that coffee reward. I was surprised that the offer didn’t show up under my rewards for some unknown reasons. When I showed them the email I received, they couldn’t figure out how to process it. Then they call the manager Amanda to help (Woho, what a helper they called). It seemed like she was annoyed to even have been called for help. She told me you realize this is only if you bring your own travel mug? As if I didn’t understand. I told her yes I brought one. She then told me if it doesn’t show up on your rewards their is nothing she can do. Even though the email she read was cut and dried. Her response was you can call the 1-800# for help. So to prove myself, I sat at the store, called and discussed with customer service who said have the manager override it. I told them Amanda couldn’t help and referred me to call customer service. When I asked Amanda if she could talk to customer service she didn’t refuse but her face expression said it all, as she was very displeased with the call. She gets off the phone and says ok I’ll override it, let me scan your card. When she did she noticed I already had enough points to cover more than free coffee. So instead of overriding it to honor a free coffee promotion, she redeemed my existing points for a coffee. When I show her the receipt and told her what she did, she said with a cold face, oh well you have to call the 1-800 number and they’ll give you back your points. No apology. So again I called. It took a few weeks and few calls to just get my points back. I’ve called multiple times about adding the reward for a free month of coffee. Still not fixed! I’ve called 3 times and the last time I was told you don’t have to call we already have a ticket and will fix it but can’t give you a timeline of when. Someone will call you. Still have not received a call. Also. I emailed the customer service email address and no one has responded. I guess customer service isn’t a priority even at a higher level. So fast forward to today. My kids asked if we can go today and decided to put my differences aside and go. We place an order on one cash register and moved to the other to pay to find Amanda again taking payments. I placed my phone with the app open for her to scan the reward card before my payment and gave her my card for payment, she ran the card without scanning my reward card on my phone. Then when I questioned it, she gave me that bad attitude again and said something between the line of oh, hard luck, you should have gave the reward card first when it was clear that card was open on my phone in front of her to scan. I honestly feel that some managers are worthless and ruthless while their employees are much compassionate and helpful which is a live true case at Einstein Bagels of Middleburg Heights. Who’s my experience mainly revolved around a silly reward; it’s never about the free coffee but rather at the reception, service and treatment you receive at a business. It’s much more about caring for your costumers and providing the best service you possibly could. I doubt I will go again or recommend it to anyone.

Out of the 5 times Ive been here the staff have been so unhappy to the point of being rude when asking questions 4 of the 5 times. The worst part is its the same 2 ladie. Again the food is great but Im not paying 4$ for a bagel anymore if nearly Everytime I come in here the staff is unhappy and rude its not worth it.

I dont know what happened to this place but it is definitely not what it used to be. Poor management, associates who have no idea what they are doing. Ive tried going back multiple times. Each time my order wasnt even close to correct and I had to wait with no line. The associates did not seem to be practicing proper hygiene and did not even ask me if I wanted a drink and when I said that I did the cashier rolled her eyes like I was inconvenienceing her. Im very disappointed, the coffee and food used to be good, food still is I suppose but the coffee machine must not have been cleaned for a week last time I went. Tons of grounds and my coffee tasted disgusting.

Its pretty awesome, I just wish they stop the seniors from putting a coat down to claim a table while they sit with other people and talk. Ive had to change my order from here to to go because the coats had taken up all the chairs.

My work is closer to Brueggers on Pearl, but I drive the extra way to Einsteins because theyre bagels are always fresh, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly and they never mess up my order! Tasty and delicious!
