Always an okay experience at worst. sometimes I get double charged for items but I double check the receipt before I leave. To be safe, I know they get busy so I try to keep that in mind.
I feel like Middleburg Cosmoprof is always... sub par. Im not even mad about the person ringing me out and double charging me for an item. But ever since Sallys and Cosmoprof merged its gotten even worse.

In this time of craziness and Covid youd think store managers would be kind and helpful. That was not my experience here. I walked in having trouble finding a product and seeking advice knowing (because I can read the sign on the door) that this store only sold to people in the salon/nail/barber world. I asked the person who worked there a question she couldnt answer, then made it very clear I wasnt welcome here as I couldnt spend money in her shop. There was another person who overheard our conversation and helped guide me. This store needs to rethink how they choose to speak to people because you never know who is listening.
The ladies there are super nice, they try all the can, to get the products we need. New marketing strategy is needed for more product availability.

When I phoned store today (8- 3 2020) to ask about store product of which iII purchaseda on the thee side of Cleveland. I asked to speak to Mgr. I did. However I asked her to speak slowly for I am hearing impaired. She did not. This happens again & again numerous times as we tried to adjust. She spoke the same way at a fast pace again I called back again. live on the west side and will post this on Facebook cause our hair is ourbour Thus will inform my hearing impaired friends & other citizens of age to not frequent this store. Theefore I will continue to frequent the east side on Clevelands east side to purchase my culture products for beautification of my locks. .
I always find what I need. Great deals...and the ladies who work there are very friendly.
Prices were wrong on a product and when i said that the ticket said a certain price, when i asked you wont honor the price? She said no that it was wrong and not changed, blamed it on the pandemic not like you guys havent been opened for over a month. So id rather find the product else where than where they let arrogant people run the front desk. I will say there was young girl that helped me and she was what saved the review from being a 1 star but the lady in the front shouldnt be there anymore.

So, I started working at this location in August thought it would be a great opportunity since I would be going into the business. Started training on everything seemed to be fine, but once I learned everything the other employees literally stopped working and made me do everything. There were a couple incidents, one was two of the other employees were talking to each other by the register and a customer came up to check out and I was stocking and fixing the shelves up, they yelled at me to come up and check people out at the register. And the second one was the two same people were talking again and the phone was right next to the one girls hands ringing and she goes oh can you answer the phone?? I was like it’s right next to your hand and she said well there is one in the back too. Pure laziness.I would never in my life would have worked here if I would have known this is how they treat new employees. They also get really annoyed when customers ask them questions or they would just automatically say we don’t have an item. I didn’t know much about the products, but at least I tried to help every customer that asked me questions. Although the ones who aren’t licensed with others people card numbers do get very rude when I said I wasn’t a hair dresser, but I just brushed it off. At least I was nice to everyone that came in.Also, I saw on below reviews, it is true. Whenever people who weren’t white came in the store in pairs or by themselves they would call me over and tell me to watch them and they would watch too.There is only one good worker there now who is actually nice and helps people out, but she won’t be back for awhile. I was trying to stay because it was a pretty decent discount, but I literally could not take doing everyone’s job while they literally just sat and talked then walked to a different spot and talked. Oh and whenever they would work, if they over stocked the items I would be the one to get blamed for it. Even when I couldn’t come in because I had school they would get pissed. Then they offered me to be an assistant manager and got even more mad when I turned it down. They pay minimum wage I think that’s one of the reasons why they’re all so rude to everyone.Worst mistake of my job choices. I don’t recommend going to this location.

By far the absolute WORST Cosmo out there! All the employees are extremely rude. What kind of training are they put through that makes them feel they can treat customers the way they do? And why is upper management not doing a thing about it? Would it hurt to put a smile on your face and do the job youre supposed to, which is customer service by the way!
I just moved to the town. I was so excited when I saw there was a cosmoprof so close to home. Everytime I have gone to this location the manager and another lady are so rude to me. Literally had them BOTH roll their eyes at me while I was paying and handed them my sallys employee card. Im gonna drive farther than ever go to this one again.
I recently relocated here from NC. Found out there was a Cosmo on the corner in my new neighborhood. When I walked in one afternoon to see if they carried a wide variety of ethnic hair products, a salesperson greeted me and asked if I needed help. I told her no, I was just browsing. Two minutes later while I was making a phone call and still browsing, the heavyset manager Laura walked up to me and asked for my Cosmo card. I said why do you need to see my card whats wrong? She said in the rudest tone, bcuz if you dont have a card im going to ask you to leave my store thats why I need to see your card right now please!! you cannot shop here if your are not a licensend cosmetologist!! By now...the entire store was quiet and staring at me. I was so humiliated but I never raised my voice at her nor got nasty with her. I preceded to show her my card and asked if she treated all of her patrons like this, she then said...Ive never seen you before, these are all regulars referring to the white customers there. I got off the phone and asked why was it necessary for her to talk to me so nasty and she said im providing you with customer service what do you need? I told her I needed for her to leave me alone like the first girl did and let me shop. However she proceeded to follow me around the store as if I was trying to steal something. Long story short, I paid for my razors and when I pulled out my card she asked for my Cosmo card number and I also gave her my ID so she could verify my hair license credentials. She wrote down ALL of my ID info and said she recognized me from two other stores. I told her that I had never shopped at those stores bcuz she was insinuating to the other patrons present that I was a shoplifter. By then I had had enough and asked her for the number to the corporate office in Texas. She said Yes!! You absolutely can have their number im gonna be down there tommrw! The other salesgirl behind the register gave me their number and I went outside across the parking lot near CVS to call them. I knew that they may never do anything....but I just wanted to let it be known that I was utterly humiliated in this store for no reason at all. 7 minutes into calling them, 3 Middleburg Hts police cars blew down on me asking me was everything ok??!! I was appalled! I told them what had happened and they told me that her version was way different of course, and that they couldnt do anything about either of our stories. How demeaning. Im standing outside in a parking lot surrounded by officers just for walking into a Cosmoprof. I told them my name and address and that I was new here and they assured me that it was a case of mistaken identity and told me to have a good day. I have shopped at Cosmo since I graduated Cosmetology school in 2005. I have NEVER been so outdone in my entire life. And after reading the review left before this one...I now know that the store manager is severely racist. I wanted someone to do something about this and help me fight for whats right soooo badly... Oh my God!!!. But.... the truth is, shes been doing this to whomever she wants with absolutely no reprecussion. I sat on my bed sorely disturbed and disgusted by how I was treated today, but one day....God will repay her for it all. One day. And may He have mercy on her. But judgment is coming. Peace.✌😌
I stopped in this particular CosmoProf on October 23rd at 4:30pm and approached the woman behind the counter, who immediately made me feel uncomfortable that I had even walked in. I asked her if she had any suggestions for me as to which color line I should buy from their store.Rather than attempt to help me, she instead rudely interrupted me and asked me if I had a card with them. I said I didnt have it with me and she then told me very coolly, You cant shop here. She refused to look my card up in the system, telling me We cant do that, when in fact at another CosmoProf store, the woman working there looked it up for me no problem.Shortly after this appallingly rude employee straight walked away from me, she came back to add that even if you did have a card, I wouldnt be able to make any suggestions anyway. Um, thanks? I wont mention that the woman at the other store was also more than happy to make suggestions.Is this really the standard of customer service this company sets within their stores? I can hardly believe anyone this insolent can stay employed with any respectable business. Perhaps CosmoProf just isnt respectable.
Never have product, if they do it’s 1 or 2If you ask them a question try get annoyed and always have shipment boxes in the back that they will never look in. They are lazy and rude and don’t care to make a sale . I’ll be driving farther to go to a different location . This is not an isolated incident it’s EVERY VISIT and has become an ongoing joke among stylists.
