I woke up this morning to a flat tire and my husband threw the spare on before he left for work. I got my car into Les Schwab with the flat tire in my trunk and not only did they fix the flat tire and swap out the spare, but they did it for FREE. I didnt even buy these tires from them (they came with the car when I bought it used) and it was such a nice surprise that they didnt charge me. It really made my day and reminded me that there a good people (and good businesses) in the world. 😀

There are very good people working there and will go out of their way to make you happy. I didnt like my front alignment. They re did the work with no problem. Im happy now.

These guys are awesome! Found a really bad tire and sold me one for a great price. I just needed air, but when he inspected the tire he found it was cracking and showing the steel cords. They then checked the air in the rest of my tires. Above and beyond. My motor home traveled well.

They used to be right on top of things. BUT someone dropped the ball.Had an appointment but they didnt know we were here. We checked after an hour.Not a good visit.

I had a great experience today working with Chris. I picked this shop because of the convenient location to where my tire went flat, but Ill go out of my way to return here next time I need a new set. Without an appointment, Chris was able to get my repairs completed immediately and for less than what I expected to pay. I appreciate when a staff stands proud of their work, and Chris deserves to be.

Went to the dealership for regular maintenance and was told I needed an alignment for my car. The dealerships quote on the price of the alignment was double the cost of Les Schwab’s so it took my car to Les Schwab. They took the car in and put it on their machine and saw that my car in fact did not need an alignment so they did not charge me anything. I know the dealership would have charged me. Les Schwab just earned themselves a true customer! Thank you for your honesty

Epic fail Les Schwab. At least for this visit. I needed my tires and suspension looked at because my 16 year old had driven my vehicle into a cement barrier. It was NOT driving okay. I paid for an alignment and that service helped, but I was also told there was. Nothing wrong with my suspension; and they just recommended I get a new set of tires. I knew the new tires would be needed by spring, but now my vehicle is in the shop and I am having to buy 2 tires and a new rim/wheel because of the damage that was done....

These guys just replaced my tire valve and rebuilt the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on that valve that was ruined from corrosion, all for $6.99 plus a bit of labor cost. The Honda dealership quoted me $180 for the same job. Of course, Honda would have used Honda parts, and not rebuilt the TPMS. But for equivalent quality and results and extremely friendly customer service, I will choose Les Schwab from now on.They also redid a tire balancing job that Ive had Honda dealership try twice now. The balance is awesome with Les Schwab, whereas the Honda dealership couldnt get the balance to stay. Its probably the method.Needless to say, Im a very happy Les Schwab customer! Thank you!

Just got off the phone with Amber from this location. I normally never write reviews but she had the best customer service I’ve experienced since moving back to Salt Lake. She looked up what kind of vehicle I have, called multiple locations for me to see who would be able to help and gave me pricing estimates as well. I got off the phone with her with a phone number and name on where I can take my monstrous motorhome for rotation and alignment. Amber deserves a raise! Thank you again!

I always have amazing service at Les Schwab Tire Center. The employees are very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Whether you just need air in your tires or something checked out, theyre happy to help whenever you need it. I went in today because I had a screw in my tire and it needed to be looked at. I didnt have an appointment but they immediately took my car, looked it over, and fixed it up for free. It made my day! Thanks again for your help, Mike! Bad place for car maintenance. When I went to this place to check the car. I told him there is a sound coming out of the bump. before make alignment Please check the car. After 3 days, I came back to them and said there is a sound. He said we do not have time today and tomorrow it is not sure that the car was checked. Please be careful.

I went in here this afternoon to get the tires on my boyfriends car balanced and rotated. He told me that it is a free service because he bought the tires from Les Schwab. When I got to the shop there was only one other person there waiting. They were not busy at all and were just hanging around at the front desk. I gave them my info and my keys and had a seat. They didnt tell me how long the wait would be. They didnt take my car back until 40 minutes after I sat down. I watched other people come in after me and leave before me getting tires patched, buying new tires, etc. I was perfectly patient and didnt ask them what was taking so long which was my mistake because after waiting for 2 hours they finally asked me which car I had and then told me that they couldnt balance or rotate my tires because they were showing cord. I asked them why it took them 2 hours to figure that out and they told me it was because they were helping everyone else (that came in after me). They offered to sell me two new tires but when I told them I couldnt afford new tires they told me they would give me my car back. They pulled it around front carelessly and threw the keys at me. I left crying. When I got home I looked at the tires and saw that they all have PLENTY of tread! My boyfriend then let me know that there is a warranty on the tires so if they did need to be replaced they were supposed to replace them for FREE. This place is extremely scummy and lazy. They lied straight to my face about the life of the tire and then tried to scam me out of money for new tires when the ones on the car arent even 2 years old!DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE

We have come here for a while. Their tires are competitively priced and their work is fast and quality. More importantly, i have had leaks twice which they have diagnosed and repaired for free. I really appreciate their service and friendly atmosphere.

I took my 07 ford van into this shop and asked them to check all of my brakes. They had the van back there for a while. They told me that my back brakes were fine, but that my front brakes were low and that I made need new calipers. So I decided to take my van somewhere else because I still heard a grinding noise coming from the back brakes. So I took the van to another place they did a very good check of all 4 brakes. They told me that I needed all 4 brakes, and rotors, and calipers. I would not do business with these guys.

They have such a great staff that is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They got me taken care of even after they were closed, and made sure my vehicle was safe for me to drive.

I have purchased new tires here in the past knowing I was paying more but that the tires came with that Les Schwab guarantee This time around I purchased a very specific tire online much cheaper than I could find locally. Called Les Schwab to get a quote for mounting balancing etc, I was quoted $184 (no warranty) Went to a competitor and got taken care for $89. My tires, same service, no warranty either place, but saved $100. Do yourself a favor and compare pricing before you buy, as it seems Les Schwab does not do any market comparisons of their own to set pricing. (Or they do and are just extremely greedy)

We had gone to multiple other companies for a problem with our car none of which had fixed the issue, and the employees were short with us because there was a problem they didn’t believe was there. The other shops didn’t even drive our car to find the issue, and took forever to “fix” it when they did nothing. At Les Schwab we were seen quickly, Amber at the front desk took notes of everything we had to say, and asked appropriate questions to narrow down the issue. Jeff was awesome and called us with updates and costs. They unintentionally ordered the wrong part, but made sure to call us and inform us of the change in time frame. But overall, they ultimately fixed our problem! Very happy with their services. Give Amber and Jeff a raise! Thanks!

My 5 yr old battery decided to quit on me at work...and after giving me a quote on a new battery, the mechanic decided it best to just test my old one. Proved quite worthwhile as my battery was actually good and terminals just needed cleaning. Saved me having to replace it entirely. Thanks to Les Schwab for keeping it honest!

Had a flat last night and was fortunate enough to pull into the lot. I came back first thing this morning to talk about what needed to be done. The manager got me in right at 8am, plugged the hole and I was out 10 mins. Since Im driving back to Kentucky tomorrow, Im very grateful for the fast and courteous service.

Went in for a flat repair 1 month ago, and had a tire rotation done as well I was told I had a bad cv axle so I had it fixed. 1000 miles later I am in there again same tire is flat, and one is worn badly. I have 5000 miles on these tires that i bought a couple of months ago. The Manager Juergen priced me a new tire. I had totally forgot about the warranty, until my brother mentioned it later. When I arrived to get my car 3 hours later. I asked Juergen about the warranty and he started telling me I had a barring severely loose and it needed to be fixed. I never got a call why it was there, and Juergen never mentioned it until I asked about a warranty. Ive had my tires rotated 2 times in three months cause I was there for a flat. Fixed everything they have ever told me I needed too. Now I have no warranty on brand new tires. Then was laughed at by himself and two other employees as I was leaving. As they sarcastically commented to have a wonderful day as I was walking out. I have never felt so disrespected or been treated this way by a business of any kind, especially one that I trust and believe in. I am disappointed to say the least. Not right Juergen.

Heading on vacation and tire blew on trailer. Brought it there at 8:45am and was told they would look at it in a couple hours. It’s 3 pm and they still haven’t looked at it. Good thing I haven’t been sitting there with my 2 small kids waiting for them to “look” at our stuff for 6 hours! Not a happy camper

I take all my vehicles to this location. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. If there is a problem they do their best to fix it. They take care of their customers, especially repeat customers. One time they comped the valve stem for my tire. I will definitely keep going back to these guys at the Midvale Les Schwab.

Bought 40000 miles tires drove 10000 Im trying to get rotated and they are telling me they are too worn. They said it was alignment first then when I said it was aligned by them when I bought the tires they said I should have had them rotated at 3000 miles. Maybe but 10000 miles now they are junk?

I got a nail in my tire yesterday morning around 9am, called them to see how busy they were. They said they could get me right in. I got there by 930 and they were super friendly! Got it done in about 30 minutes and for free! I also got it done before my window tinting appointment at 11. So thank you guys for helping me out!

Ive been here several times. Bought tires a year ago, and recently visited and they helped me out with a tire patch - had run over a nail/screw. I was in and out in no time. Highly recommend.

I drive a 83 year old truck and after I took it to another shop which told me I had to replace the entire front end joe said I should let his guy look at it turns out all that was wrong was I had a loose tie rod they did an alignment and replaced two very old tires and it has never driven so straight in its life if they can do this and 83 year old truck they can do it to anything thanks for your good service

Great place to get ripped off!!If you are looking for a great place to throw money away and deal with dishonest people you have come to the right spot!My wife and I have given Les Schwab a few chances to be honest and they have failed on all occasions.First chance:While I was deployed in Afghanistan my wife brought my truck in for a state inspection(which they said they could do on the phone) but they are not a licensed shop. In the process of the inspection they showed her that one of the ball joints was bad on the truck. They demonstrated this by turning the tire with the truck on the lift-not an accurate way to test the integrity of the ball joint. Here is the best part: The ball joints were installed just before I left and only had about 300 miles on them. So, my wife leaves with a bill for almost $200 on a $25 part.Second chance: took my wifes car in for a rotation and balance(free as part of buying tires from the store) I was told by the technician that the rear shocks were leaking oil and needed to be replaced. I told them I would do this at a later time. Being a mechanic in the military has given me training on how to spot things that need to be repaired; it has also given me the ability to do simple things like this without paying a shop $85 and hour to drag their feet. After a few months I replaced the shocks and struts-the car had about 56k on it so it wasnt a bad time. I pulled off the rear shocks that were leaking oil and they were bone dry, still had great compression and rebound, whatever, I had already bought replacements.Third chance: Today my wife brought her car in because there was a screw in the tire. Simple fix and a quick rotate? No...over an hour to accomplish this mountainous task. While she was there I had her ask the person working on the car to inspect the shocks and struts. And what do you know...after only 5 months and about 3500 miles they are already bad!! Oh, no...wait...I forgot, Les Schwab is run by a bunch of crooked, lying, dishonest people that like to prey on those who dont know any better. They will tell you things need to be replaced when they are perfectly fine and charge an obscene amount of money to do so.Please, avoid these crooks at all costs.The one positive thing I will say is that the prices on tires are fair. Not great, but fair.

We bought new tires here and had an alignment. Next morning husbands off to work and could not go over 60 miles an hour because of severe shaking. We take it back the next day to have it balanced. Husband goes to work the next day, still has a slight shake. Take it back again to have it balanced better. After three visits we were satisfied. Come to find out our new tires were to have 45lbs of pressure. They were only filled to 35 lbs. We were always appologized to and treated kindly just think additional training is needed. We will go back.

I used to love this place. They used to be extremely fast, courteous and competitively priced. I could go in for a tire rotation or flat fix and be out in 15 minutes. Now the minimum time I have waited for the last 3 or so visits has been 1.5 hours even if they arent very busy. While they are still friendly, it doesnt seem as genuine as before. The prices seem a lot higher than they used to be as well. Ill definitely be checking out other options for tires in the future.

I cant remember having a good experience at this Les Schwab in the past few years. Ive been a loyal customer and kept coming back, but every time I leave Im in a bad mood. I stopped in to get a tire pressure sensor checked and after they replaced it my window wouldnt go back up. My window worked perfectly fine when I pulled up. I drove there with my windows down and rolled it up in the Les Schwab parking lot. Somehow they managed to knock it off the track and try to get me to leave without fixing it. And after I had him get my window up again, I paid for my new sensor he put in and drove away. By the time I get home my TPMS light was going off again.I used to like Les Schwab and would have recommended them to anyone, but the service has been going downhill. Maybe its just this location, but theyve ruined the Les Schwab name for me. The name that brags about their high level of customer service. I will never be returning to this location, and will not spend any more money there in the future.

Well where to start. I had new struts put on my Nissan and the struts failed. I brought it back in and the struts were warrantied new ones put one. Those struts failed again. Ive been down there twice to get an answer. The reply I get back is we are working on it we will call you back. I have never been called back and I keep getting the run around. I will not use this company again. Been trying to get this issue fixed now for a year. Poor customer service. I paid alot of money to have this service done on my truck.

Stressed out for a last minute flat tire fix. I was told they were busy with an estimated time of an hour and a half. Surprising they fixed it within a half hour and free of charge. Thank you guys for the quick fix. Recommended and coming back for future fixes.

I made an appointment with Amber. They were ready for me when I arrived and had me out in less than an hour. Amber is great and the service tech, I think his name was Elijah, was super. I drive quite a distance to go to this location because their customer service is outstanding.

Went to the tire place just up the street first. Waited for more than 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged me and even then, would not service my tire due to being 10 years old (without providing another solution). Les Schwab jumped on me before I even got in the door and had me fixed in 15 minutes or less.

Came in for a new battery. No time period was quoted. After 45 minutes, I asked for my keys back. They said I was next. I told them that other cars had come in after me, and already in the bay. He said, I guess they were in a hirry. I think it was because they were attractive, young girls and it was the guys that scanned them up and down, that got them to the front of the line

Awesome service and a super large clean waiting area. They were able to get the broken lug nuts off my car that another mechanic had done. Discount wasnt able to because they didnt have the equipment. The shop saved my day and did not charge me a lot of money. They were absolute Lifesavers.

I was very happy with my experience at this location. Shane and Eric took very good care of my needs. I highly recommend them and I will be using them for all my tire/wheel needs. I was confident they knew what they were talking about and thats important.

I typically love Les Schwab, back home that’s the only place I’d go. But this one is nuts! Multiple occasions I’ve gone to them in the morning (10-11am) to get an alignment, on every occasion they tell me they’ll need the truck for the whole day and I can come back at 6. Well, that simply doesn’t work for my situation... especially when an alignment is not a huge job. Went down the road to Big O and saw they were pretty busy, but figured I’d give it a shot. They brought me right in and told me they’d make sure it was done within the hour. That is what I’m accustomed to at Les Schwab but I guess this one in Midvale just can’t hang. I’ll continue to go to Big O while I’m living down here.

These guys are great. They put a 4 lift and some big tires on my 2013 F150 and did it all in a day. They guys even stayed late getting it finished up. I own a business and we take all our vehicles there and have a great experience every time - Steve
