Great time getting some gear here. The prices are highly competitive (i.e. theyll match then beat prices on Amazon). The service was top notch in helping me in areas where my knowledge wasnt all that deep. Will be my first stop when looking for equipment in the future.

I am excited to have this store in the neighborhood. I stopped by for the first time today and found this spf50 hat I’ve been searching for for a long time. There are a lot of outdoor/camping items and since most of them aren’t your big name brands the prices are very reasonable.

Its a nice little place. Since its pretty new to the game, its not as big as other outdoor/camping gear places.James has such a great personality, so its nice, compared to other places where no one bats an eye in your direction (which in my case happens a lot).Theyve got some reasonably priced items there, so thats a plus. Its where I got my new knife 😁

I usually shop at Sportsman’s Warehouse, but Mountain Republic has a customer for life! I’ve been looking for a small portable stove for our 72-hour kits (light weight and a decent price) and I found the perfect one. Plus, I had to buy the waterproof zebra bag. Shout out to Mark who took great care of me!

Absolutely love this place they have tons of outdoor and camping supplies that are so well priced. I have bought a few things there but my most recent purchase was for a hiking backpack and it has been great!! Really well made and super cute. I took it with me to Oregon on a few hikes and it handled the rain like a champ. Camping doesn’t need to break the wallet!!!

I stopped in to check this new store out and I was pleasantly surprised! The prices were really affordable and they had a great selection of outdoor products. I really loved that they had several racks of novelty keychains. I’ll be back to get one for everyone on my Christmas list!

Its nice to visit a shop where you can find the things you need at a discounted price! They dont seem to carry alot of top name brands but thats ok because sometimes you need an item and dont want to pay top dollar or need the highest quality. The associate who helped me was very friendly and helpful plus they have some really great deals!

My experience far surpassed any expectations. Very well run shop, staffed by individuals with a definite passion for what they do. Recommend to everyone!!There is no substitution for the interaction between customer and a shop owner who is informed about their field and cares about offering a high quality product while maintaining a level of respect and genuine care for the experience the customers have while in the shop. You might save a dollar in dealing with a robot online, but you lose out on something beyond critical. The chance to be human.

Great selection of deals, most stuff seems imported from china. Purchased a few hammocks with attached mosquito nets. One of them had a connection that broke and these awesome guys replaced it for me. 🥰 They have a great caribeener selection as well.

Walked in just to look around as I have been interested in getting set up for backpacking, ended up getting everything I needed for $150. Very nice backpack, hammock, carabineers, camp stove, fuel, mess kit and compass. I dare you to put those items in your cart on Amazon and get the same price!

As an amateur outdoor enthusiast, and a supporter of local businesses, I was excited to find Mountain Republic. They may not be the biggest shop in town, but for what they lack in size, they make up for in enthusiasm. James, the store manager, was eager to please and knew his inventory very well when I stopped by for a visit.I found that there was a good variety of products, at decent prices. The gear was appropriate for someone like me- a person that likes to dabble in camping, hiking, and other outdoor recreation, but doesnt need the fanciest, most expensive stuff.The store is pretty new-just over a month now-and is still working out some of the kinks. But give them a try!

Check this place before going to other outdoor stores for ski, camping, hiking, or travel gear. Mountain Republic will have a lot of the stuff you need for much better value. I picked up a bunch of flashlights and trekking poles for a family outing, and the equipment held up just as well as gear from REI.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Mountain Republic is a small, new store, but it has potential! They have many smaller, fun products and had a few sales on some of the bigger items. As an outdoor enthusiast, I was surprised to see many products I hadn’t seen before.

The store is incredibly clean and full of great merchandise. I got a great deal on gloves. I would recommend it as a great alternative to higher priced outdoor stores.

Saw that they were opening so I decided to go in and check it out. Found merino wool shirts and hoodies at an amazing price! I also bought some amazing trekking poles... great pricing!
