The meat department is by far the worst I have ever seen they sell old meat and just rewrap it in the back! The employee Corry Murray told me not to buy any meat from there because it could make my family sick because it was old thats sad your own employees tell people that. He said they wash it off and rewrap it in the back and put it back on the shelves so that the store doesnt loose money! Ill NEVER BUY ANY MEAT FROM THERE! SMH I WISH I COULD GIVE NO STARS!!!

Staff can be so unprofessional and rude! They rush you and talk loud at you while not even offering a smile! One cashier threw all my stuff as she scanned. Another time one got mad because I didnt get my WIC. They did not allow substitutions for items they did not have!! She was upset still saying her system had to be rebooted cause of the void when all that was needed was a simple card scan!! This last time the cashier just bagged my stuff turned her back on me and posted up waiting for the next. She didnt greet or bid farewell! I hate shopping in there!!!!!

Food depot is always pleasant, but they need to hire more people. There is no one working in the customer service area.

First time customer here.I like this store. The stockers were polite and helpful. The store is huge. Yall stock alot of merchandise that me and my family consume.Im from the next town over. Had business in Milledgeville so I thought I would grocery shop instead of driving back to my town.Im glad I did.

This was the first of this store we have ever seen. Loved the place. Clean, well stocked, well organized, and super efficient. When we saw that every item was marked with a price and a note that the cost at the register was 10% more, we were amazed. Then we started comparing the prices and found every item we bought was marked more than 10% below the bog box store down the road. We shop at the big box all the time and buy a lot of the same items therefore we know the prices by heart. As we made our selections, we saw that the total was not adding up near what we normally pay. We purchased a quantity of items that we purchase each time we shop and the price with the 10% was about $12.00 cheaper than we normally pay. Impressed. We also found they have items and brands we can not buy at the big box store. I searched and the closest one to us when we are at home is in Dublin. Too far to drive but if we are near there, we will be stopping in.

Extremely clean, well-organized store, very large. The pleasant surprise was the store was appropriately staffed for how big it was, every time I went there was was someone available to help in every department and every checkout lane was open. The wide range of stock was astonishing, especially in the foreign/international foods (Mexican/Hispanic/Japanese/Chinese) I found Mexican products and spices I had not seen since leaving Los Angeles back in 2002. The pricing was the best of any market in the town we lived in by far, I can honestly say I wish we had one of these stores in New Orleans.

Best grocery store in Milledgeville. $1 a gallon less on orange juice than walmart. Best selection of meats also.

I really thought the manager was quite rude this morning while I was trying to shop. He proceeded to tell customers we needed to wait about 10 minutes until the stockers get the food on the shelf, and it was not in a pleasant voice. It was not our fault it wasnt on the shelf already and besides he could have been more pleasant than that. We all know the situation the world is in right now but being angry and upset doesnt help the situation. We should be willing to help people even more during these times.

The selections of food and vegetables are great and they have the cheapest water in town.

Its not a bad store. Its just like other grocery stores in that, like everyone else prices vary. I found certain produce much cheaper & better quality. For example their cabbage is amazingly large & priced to perfection. Super clean store & friendly staff. Id say if you have never been there definitely check it out. It wont hurt & you might find some good prices on things you normally purchase.

Great discount food store. Its got a dated vibe but a great variety. Cashiers are young, on their phones and not very attentive to the customers.

First time ever and I really enjoyed it..They are a tad cheaper than Walmart but come to find out that when you get to the register they add 10% so that defeats the idea that the prices are cheaper than Walmart. Its about the same though it was nice to be in a completely different environment.
