We had the head gasket done on a older toyota truck. Repair took a while and seemed like we were getting the run around. Finally get the truck back which runs now kinda. Hood didnt shut right anymore, they bent the latch. Then looking further into the repair, studs missing from exhaust manifold. Carburetor bolts loose with no gaskets used and to top it off the timing chain cover was not installed correctly so they just mashed some gasket maker/jb weld in there to try and stop the leak. Avoid this place at all costs. Didnt even wanna go back and complain because they shouldnt be touching peoples vehicles.

A very good mechanic. Also dedicated and doesnt try to rob people out of their money. I dont write reviews(at all), but for what he did for me today I just want to show my appreciation and respect.

After my experience, Id give them 10 stars if I could. I was looking for a new mechanic for a tough job on my beloved truck and I was referred here. To be honest I wasnt sure my faithful truck could even be fixed. (Several mechanics told me it couldnt be). I had ALOT of faith in my Chevy, even with the 305,000 miles on it. Not only were they brave enough to tackle it, but they did a phenomenal job. My estimate was fair & even when the work had to change, I was called in & explained & shown why. He worked with me every step of the way. I was overjoyed when I received the call that my truck was finished. She purred like a kitten when I started her, I even cried a bit, yup, tears of joy. You see, Big Blue as we fondly call her is a 2001, shes been a part of my life for 20 years now, taught my kids to drive in it. Lots of memories, all good. She was on bad shape when I sent her to you. But, YES definitely 10 STARS to the man & the shop that saved her. Thank you so much for everything you did. Ill be back, after all I just found the best mechanic in town!

This is the single worst place you can go in cumberland county to get any work done whatsoever. The owner is incompetent and is unreliable. They took 3 weeks working on my truck and and off, just to have stripped the bolt connecting the steering wheel, breaking the air bag, and horn all in the process. Trust me do not waste your time at this location

Went there from DMV to get a fuse replaced for an LED light in the dash. Left with that fixed but heater vent used to change settings on location of output of heat stopped working. Later found a vacuum hose was disconnected accidently or on purpose? I think it was done with intent to get extra money from me while simply reconnecting the hoses.Just something sneaky about the guy and the things he said. What were the chances the hoses disconnected, on there own, while he was working near them? I owned the car from new and had very few problems in 17 yrs.

The people there are nice but theres a genuine lack of communication there. They dont update you on your car, they dont give you a price quote before working on the car, they just do it and they take fooorreeevvveerr to fix something. Idk if its because theyre short staffed or what. My car was fixed but it took forever and it was expensive in comparison to the shop I normally go to. If youre okay with all of that, go for it.

My car was taken for repair by the car dealer I bought it from, both myself and the dealers mechanic took it there, a week later I picked up the car and it had a dent in the drivers side rear panel that was not there when I left it. They will not take responsibility for what happened to my car. Beware take pictures of your car before you leave it at any repair shop. I give them a thumbs down !!!!!

Went here to get and estimate on repairs. They gave me a list of what needed to be fixed which totaled over 1500 dollars. Took it to another mechanic and got same issue fixed with the change of only one part. For 150 dollars. This place is grossly overrated and overpriced. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They’ll tell you that you need 10 parts fixed when it could be something small as a sensor or replacement of a minor car part. We need more honest mechanics in this area.

Rant: ZERO STARS - DO NOT GO HERE#millvilleAutoRepair (the repair shop by the inspection station) i DROVE my car there last Sunday night and they told me they would look at it on Monday and call me. They never called me i called them and they said my van was running fine with NO CK engine light on.. i said, every once n a while the engine light comes on and it hesitates... so he put it on the machine once the light came on (on Tuesday) he tells me that it was the EGR valve.. and the parts would b in the same day and he would have it ready that day or the next day.. Wednesday they tell me he is working on the van just to find out they lied and he wasnt even in that day.. Thursday they said it would b done by 5, Friday they said it would done by 5.. so here it is Monday AGAIN!!!! AND TODAY... we (me and Sabria Lindsey-Turner) went up there just to get the van from there and to another shop and he (the owner) got really nasty literally chest bumped my wife and our van had to leave on a TOW TRUCK!!! After he says, he put it back n the same position it was n when we brought it.. all it did was have a hesitation when i DROVE it n there.. we had to call the tow truck because the brakes wouldnt work, the van was louder than a motorcycle, it wouldnt stay running and the windshield wipers wouldnt turn off even after the van was turned off!!!!!!!! And he claims, he didnt do anything!!!So if u ever need a repair please save urself time, money, and a headache and do not go to Millvilleautorepair ClarenceSelover as he says he doesnt care about people needing to get back and forth to work thats not his problem!!!!!

I have been going here for a couple of years and they have been okay. Price is good, but last time I was there they either forgot to put oil in or reset the button. Honestly I dont know about oil changes Im a pet groomer and all Id like to do is get the oil changed and pay and leave. But today I get in the car and the oil light is saying change the oil, but just got it changed in July and I hardly go anywhere. So, I call and am told to come right over and they will fix it. So, someone comes out to check the oil and I hear the boss in the background saying basically Im a clueless idiot. I dont know about mechanical things but I do know how to take care of my car. Maybe buddy should take an etiquette class and then go back to mechanics school.

Went in with cargo van for an aliment that it has needed for a long time after we changed bushings. They quoted me $89.99 and I said fine. Me knowing cars well, I know they have to check the front out to see if anything needed replaced but I was confident all was well. Sure enough, they checked and all was good, but I did need the add to offset shims for caster which are a little pain to do. I even called my friend to make sure they had to do it so it was right as we tow with this van. My friend said they are on target and it was legit as I thought. So I gave the go ahead and was told 2-3 hours or so to be done and would not hit above $209 and the bill ended with $203 parts and labor. I never used the place before and just was referred by the tire place by Tepps, so a little anxiety as you never know who you get. I checked the price with my friend afterwards and he said that was a good price too-it could go higher, but that was a reasonable price and they took me on short notice.I called back a few hours alter to see what the status was and Russ apologized for not calling and said it was done. I told him not a problem, arrived, they took my company check, and admittedly we have bee in business since 1996 and it is a company van, but all good. Drove the van and my steering was now straight, took it up to speed up on Route 55 to 90 MPH and still straight. Now my tires are worn from before and they will need rotated, but that I didnt ask them to do. Their rack is an older model and worked great-in fact the best alignments i ever got were all older racks and it seems evident this is mainly incumbent on the mechanic who does it. In my case, it was a younger man, I would say mid 20s, and he didnt say a whole lot, but the work was good. I also met another business owner in town that I know and he loves the place and has been going there for 10 years.I would use them again in a flash. If you are looking for a big flashy place, this is not it. It is a small ma and pop shop and Russ was grateful for the business, although they had some business there regardless but nice to know business is appreciated.
