I worked with MTS for a client of mine. We ordered a very high end countertop. The customer service and communication is terrible. They make a lot of excuses, stall on returning emails and messages. They are rude and don’t know what is going on. Will not be working with them in the future. It’s been embarrassing making excuses for them with my client because they don’t have their sh$t together.
Great selection and fabrication capabilities.
If you are looking for help with a project, then Id highly recommend you go with a different vendor. We worked with Agata to purchase a slab for a tabletop project, and she was helpful in selling the slab. We came in to change the material, so it could be fabricated in house at Minnesota Tile & Stone. Agata wasnt there that day, and the other salesperson and manager on site that day were unfriendly and acted as if we were bothering them. We were told only Agata could help us and she wasnt there. We waited for days without a return call. The only helpful person was the individual who processed the refund. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.
Love working with Christine!
I am a tile setter by trade and I cant think of any place better to get the supplies and information I need. The employees there are a great group of people. One of only a handful places I go to during the week where the people are mellow, professional, and organized. Always my first recommendation to any potential and returning customers!
We were amazed by all the different options and had so much fun looking at them. Initially, we were left alone to browse (which I appreciate) but when we had specific questions and wanted more suggestions, Kate was fabulous! We are in the beginning stages of our project so this was a fantastic place to start. Lots of variety!
Horrible experience! Poor quality of product and customer service. No accountability from Minnesota Stone & Tile
Every person from sales, measurement, and install was superb! Very personable group that was easy to communicate with and clearly explained the process to this first timer. Would definitely come back in the future and recommend to anyone that asks!
Really great showroom, huge selection. Worked with our contractor for home renovation and used Minnesota Tile & Stone for our kitchen backsplash and bathrooms. Good experience.
Amazing stone. Disappointing customer experience. From the start, i got the feeling that I was bothering them with a small order (260$).Called to order a custom shower curb and was told to go to the store. I went in was told that id get an e-mail with the quote. 2 days later, no quote. Had to call to request the quote again. It took nearly a week of back and forth emails to complete the process and re-hash details we discussed in person. I never got confirmation that the order was actually placed which left me wondering a lot.I understand that I had a small order, but thats no reason to drag out the process and make it a pain in the neck for me and the sales person. My advice to a new customer would be to walk in, wait for the quote, sign, and pay all at once.
Shy was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. He took the time and answered all of our questions.
I am a general contractor and used them for a project with nothing but problems. Cole the sales person was awful to deal with he did not write down half of the clients tile selection and wrote down the wrong thickness of vanity countertop. He also kept forgetting parts of the shower curb and shower bench so I had to go back to my client with different prices four times even though nothing changed on the job. Once it came time to install the countertop almost 4 months later they did not send enough guys to lift the slab into the house and once more guy showed up and got it into the house they had put the seem in the wrong location. A simple vanity installation that should have taken no more than one hour took six hours and still wasnt right. There are plenty of other countertop fabricators around I would Recommend going elsewhere.
Ive done business with Mn Tile and Stone for years and theyve always been great
Went in looking for technical help -- had to go elsewhere. It was a nice showroom.
