Wife and I were enjoying our afternoon at the mall, stopped at lids and saw that they offer embroidery. Asked a guy to do embroidery on my hat for my business left my card with him and prepaid my purchase. This is how it came out. Didn’t want to hassle him about it since he had a slight attitude from the get go. Lost 57$ and hat is ruined. Going to a professional guy next time.DO NOT HAVE THEM DO EMBROIDERY ON YOUR ITEMS THEY SUCK.
Very friendly staff! Stopped in to have a Pirates hat custom embroidered. Working with Anthony was great. Very happy with the finished product!
From reading previous reviews, your mileage will vary when it comes to who is actually working the store.Matthew, the gentleman who was running the store, was polite, knowledgeable and had excellent customer services skills. My experience was great, hence why Im taking the time to write a review.My situation: I had to return a hat from their online store. Lids online chat was average at best, but told me I could return the hat in-store. I called the store to confirm this was true. Matthew answered, confirmed I can return my hat, and gave me specific instructions for what was needed for the return. I appreciated that because the last thing I want is to drive all the way there and not be able to return the hat.When I arrived at the store, Matthew answered all of my questions about the return, my refund options and shared best practices about returns, including having my hats shipped to the store for free. Great to know.Matthew, thanks for creating a positive experience. Ill definitely be back.
Manager of the Ridgedale location was a great help! Knew what he was talking about when it came to the product and services they provide and had a very personable and energetic attitude. Great customer service, I would shop at this location again.
Today i had some pretty crappy service. i work retail so i understand work can be stressful but come on. went there earlier in the day waited until there was no line for the worker to grab a hat from the top shelf which i cannot reach. she said hold on. asked a guy who was behind us if he was ready and checked him out. we were clearly before him and all she had to do was step on a step stool and grab it. then later that day i decided to come back. the worker was laughing with other people of his skin color. but once me and my boyfriend of a different race came up he was total straight face barely could understand his mumbling and crappy attitude. will not be stopping here again.
Person who opened their store with huge, ugly, bleached-out curly hair and a poser patch jacket almost killed me with his car in the parking lot because he was so late to work one morning.Submitted a complaint on their website, and they responded that my input had No Value and even tagged it in the category of Doesnt matter.Also, they appear to be close every other day, and make their own hours by showing up late and leaving early. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.
Stopped in today with the intention of buying a hat. Credit card machine down, apparently for 2 days now. Thankfully, with the internet, theres plenty of other companies to buy hats with a credit card.
