Interesting store. Hardware in title and they are that but more. Looking for a gift - thus might be the place. Need one bolt or screw and not a package then this is definitely the place for good selection and fair prices.

This place has everything horse, hardware, animal feed/bedding/care, baby chicks during summer and much more. The service is great and lines are quick. The staff are super sweet and always in a good mood.

Love this store. It has a kind of a mass general store feel to it. The prices for livestock feed are so much better than going to Tractor Supply. My only complaint is that they sell live baby chicks which is something I do not agree with.

My go to place in mint hill for your household needs. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. They always greet you as you walk in the door.

I’ll be honest, the first time I visited was to pick up some screws and it was close. I had previously avoided these guys because Id assumed they were just another one of those “trendy” hardware stores that never have what you need, but always have a lot of other over-priced stuff. Not only was I was pleasantly surprised, but I quickly realized that they had items that Id been ordering online because none of the big-box stores have them. I now have a new local source for 1 1/2 (and above) galvanized and black pipe and several other specialty fittings that I use for building forges - AND theyll cut to size as well.

I do most of my own yard work so who dont need a conveniently located hardware store near by!!

Good competitive prices on livestock feed. I went to get a mineral block. Amazon sells the same one for three times the price! Staff is very friendly and always offers help.

Staff is friendly once you can get their attention; however, I’ve experienced poor communication and follow-up. I worked with the manager, Paul, and ordered a Weber grill that was not in stock. I had to call several times and even stopped-in to get a status on the order. Since I could not get a good answer, after a few weeks, I eventually gave-up and ordered from another company. I really wanted it to work since they are a “Weber dealer”, but I guess they don’t care about their customers and sales (missed out on $1K+)... at least that’s how I felt. I can’t recommend, at least for trying to order products not in the store.

I shopped at this store today for the 2nd time in a long time. I was shopping for a faucet valve stem, they had quite a few but did not have the model I needed. Still I was very impressed with the variety of different products and the quantity of things they have for sale.

I needed to do curbside pick up due to the Covid. They are super helpful and all my orders came out better than I had anticipated. I cannot recommend this store too highly.

Great neighborhood hardware store. Most anyone working there has been able to any questions about any part you may be looking for, and they do not hide from you like some big box places. They have large selections of most items to find just the size, length, thickness or what have you of what you need. Very helpful and courteous.

I tried to use their FFL to have a rifle shipped there. For over a week they did not respond to the dealer to verify their license was still valid. I had to call the dealer and send it to another location.Their cost of a transfer went up, and the quality of the customer service went down.

Hey, this place has been updated with several more modern options and displays. Plenty of old style hardware with a more current twist.Big Easter celebration with tents for promoting some big names in the parking lot and chicks, ducks and rabbits for sale inside. Lots more for traffic than I have seen in a while. Dont forget the free bag of Popcorn while you browse

Love this place for hardware (nuts, bolts, washers) especially stainless steel that big box stores do not carry. David T is right... good looking cashier. Good selection of power equipment in house service dept, also farm equipment, feed supplies, big green egg, hunting supplies, list goes on... Friendly helpful staff as well.

I have always loved your store and try to support local business. I was in your store this morning 2/8/19 and the brown haired cashier was very rude to my wife.This isn’t the first time this has happened and honestly if you want people to support the business you shouldn’t have cashiers with bad attitudes. I hope this is corrected because as I said I really love your store and spend a substantial amount of money there.

This hardware store is the best in the area. One thing I will point out is that its always best to come into a store like this (with the thing youre looking for) and have someone help you. This place is full of everything you can think of when it comes to hardware so explaining over the phone sometimes doesnt work out. If they dont have what youre looking for, it probably doesnt exist 😉

Great local hardware store - has supplies for the home and farm. We buy our dog food here and its the cheapest place in town to get it. Fast friendly and courteous sales associates. Its also a great place to just wander around and see their unique supplies and products. Big parking lot and free popcorn!

Store has an old-school aura. Well stocked with about anything you could want in hardware plus a lot of eye candy; decorative home products, heirloom candies, clothing, shoes, animal feeds, large array of lawn/yard maintenance items. Plus the staff is always helpful, including verifying that an item is in stock if you call in.

Hardware stores are my kryptonite. I see one and I must go in. I go in and I must by something. Oh look over there. There is that thing that I didnt know I needed until I saw it amongst the fabulous hardware items and knew then that I must claim it as my own. Yeah, that is me. This store is great!

A bit pricey but they have good stuff

Disappointed in your service! I had a wheel fall off my cart. (I am a Karaoke DJ and have to have that cart to get my equipment in) Ive been at my Grandmothers funeral all day, and had to rush to get there to get a bolt that fell off and held my wheel on. 1 tiny 3/8 bolt. It took me 5 minutes to park because of the car show in the parking lot. Im fine with that except for it made me get to the door at 6:59. The place was already locked up. There was a guy at the door letting the people that were left in there finish paying and leave. I asked. Then I begged and explained that I had to have this for work and I needed one bolt that would cost less than 20 cents probably. (12 cents at Home Depot) It would take and extra minute to ring me up. He would not let me in. Your store hours are til 7:00. If you want local people to keep your local business running, then you should help serve your local people. I understand. Everyone is done and ready to go. I wouldve been there 5 minutes before if parking hadnt taken so long. But would he have let me in? Looks like he closed early. I will never come to your store. I will put this review on every page possible. Very disappointed. And not the day for it. 1 less local business I will support.

Monroe Hardware Company has the friendliest and most helpful staff Ive ever seen in a hardware store of any size. They have a great selection of home improvement goods, and their prices on many items are better than what youll find at national chain stores. They also have clothing, footwear, household goods, guns, ammo, outdoor recreational equipment and animal care products. I think its one of the coolest stores in the greater Charlotte area, and its the first place I look when I need just about anything.
