Four stars because I was not able to make an appointment. So when I got there I had to wait for however long as many people were in front of me. The nice thing is they had a shuttle service driven by Stefan who was very helpful, very nice and came right away to pick me up when I was ready. As far as I can tell the service performed was done correctly. The car wash is always a nice addition.

Excellent service and quick turn around on our vehicle. This was a full 90k mile service with transmission and differential fluid changes in addition to oil and filter. Shop is impressive in how clean and organized they are.My experience with Matt, our service contact was great! Very professional, courteous and was able to have the car completed and returned to us within a few hours.

If I could have given them 1/2 star, I would have. The only service person worth a star was the shuttle driver. Its easier for their service dept to just not deal with a valid tire warranty and make someone pay out of pocket. I was also hung up on 4 times trying to reach the service person assigned to the vehicle.I know someone in the area who may be shopping for a vehicle in the near future and I advised them NOT to shop at Basney Honda, based on our experience with their tire service dept.

Had a great first experience with Basney. Service Tech Matt got us in quickly even though we had no appointment, he communicated with me through the day, and he even managed to find that the part that needed fixing was still under warranty due to a service bulletin, even though the powertrain warranty had expired. What a great surprise! Everyone there was friendly and courteous, and it felt like a well-run enterprise. Definitely recommend.

My experience was awesome! The salesperson listened to all of my requests, and was extremely kind and respectful. Every employee I encountered was great. I was given the exact numbers I expected, everything flowed along very smoothly and as quickly as they could control, and I left with a new car I love. It was exactly what I wanted. I was never pressured to change anything I asked for, they accommodated my requests through the whole process. The sales person was honest and thorough. I will definitely go back to this dealership for my next car. They’ve displayed the highest level of professionalism I’ve seen when looking for a car. I appreciate honesty and respect, which I did not have at the dealer I went to prior to this one. Super impressed and would highly recommend this place when anyone mentions looking for a new car.

I cant recommend Basney unless you are desperate and have tried every where else to find a car. The used car was exactly what I was looking for but the price was too high. Theres no dealing any at so dont bother trying. Low used car inventory levels have made this universal. My issues were caused by then salesman and financial officer. I wouldnt have put up with the lousy service if I hadnt wanted the car as much. The salesman kept leaving every couple minutes to take other calls, ask questions of others, and only made suggestions that made this sale easier for him, not me. I didnt care for his talking at me or talking to my husband rather than me for the most part. I was buying the car. It was my money. My name was the only one going on the title. Im college-educated and I recognize gender bias when I experience it. He even handed my husband the keys and the paperwork! Wow! Then there was the financial officer. Im from Georgia so it was more complicated to get the title and loan papers, but he had us running from Basney to home and back again for 3 hours!! Get this paper. Get copies of these. Oh, wait! I told you the wrong thing. Now, get this and that! Am I the first out-of-state sale Basney has ever done? He should have known his business much better than that or asked for help. After all this, was there any compensation or apologies for their less-than-adequate service? NO! NOTHING WHAT-SO-EVER!! This was the worst buying experience Ive ever had. FIND ANOTHER DEALERSHIP or be prepared for an inadequately trained staff with arrogant salesmen.

The service person I dealt with, I cannot remember his name, was very kind and efficient. There was a mishap with the bill which was rectified soon after the car was picked up, but other than that I cant complain. Always love getting work done here. One suggestion is to be open on Saturdays. It can be a real struggle to get it in during the week.

GO TO BOSAK HONDA. DONT SETTLE FOR BASNEY....Customer service isnt difficult. Buying a vehicle comes with a lot of stress. Dont go to Basney and make it more stressful.The customer service and care at BOSAK is the same as if you were buying a Range Rover. The customer service here at basney is like buying a used lawn mower off Craigslist.I put down a $500 deposit to receive a vehicle within a certain window. When the truck was delayed and I couldnt get a definitive answer as to when exactly my vehicle would be finished, I decided to see if there was somewhere else with the truck. I told Basney this and they didnt push back.I just purchased a brand new truck at BOSAK and Im so glad I did. They were far more knowledgable and caring. Basney refused to refund the deposit and literally, literally!, slammed the door in my face. Theyll be able to sell this high demand truck within a week of it landing on the lot. They just showed me that they never want my business or referral again.

I Arrive at Basney Honda around 12:30 pm . I live in Warsaw a little bit over an hour driving. The person who attended me, told me, We are busy, I told him that if I could make an appointment for another day since I live in Warsaw, he told me that for tune ups there were no appointments unfortunately, I asked him How long it will take aprox. He told me that about 2 I/2 hours, Ok I answered, Im already here, is wordless go back with nothing, after half a hour sitting in the waiting room I decided to go eat at a restaurant nearby, This person who is in charge of the Shuttle Services Chuck very friendly offered to take me to a nearby restaurant, I was with Chuck total time back and forth around 35 minutes because He were with other customers on the way to attend. When I returned after a long time, all the other cars that were before me and after me they had already gone, only my truck was sitting there on the middle of the floor, I wait a little bit longer and after see how others came and go, I went to complain to the guy who attended me at the beginning, at that moment he realize that I was waiting. 4 HOURS there, thanks to someone who maybe had a bad day. Or maybe he just didnt care much about his job anymore.

Had to put on a new starter on my 2015 crv with less then 47000 miles. Not one bit happy. Honda owes me $897 this should have been on recall. I am a 77 yr old woman who only drives this mostly to store church an an occasional bingo. Why should it need a starter !!!!!!!!!

Best Experience Ever! Took my college age daughter shopping for her 1st car. Rodger Loveing was our car sales rep. He was absolutely amazing and treated my daughter with respect and like she was family. When he spoke to her, he was very respectful and stayed within $2 of her price point. I would highly recommend anyone with a child purchasing their 1st vehicle to meet with him. Looking forward to going back in 3 years when our youngest is ready to drive.

I had an oil change, coolant flush, tire rotation and air filter replacement. Matt said it would take two hours and it took that or a couple minutes shorter. The waiting room has comfortable chairs, vending machines, WiFi and a TV set,, so waiting isnt a chore.. There havent been any problems with the vehicle since the service. I will be back again for the next oil change.

On August 1st at 3:14pm the front driver side wheel and tire on my 2004 Honda Pilot came off my vehicle without warning while I was driving at 40 mph. Thankfully, my brother and I did not sustain any injuries. Furthermore, the wheel and tire that came off the vehicle did not strike anyone, rather went into a wooded area.The police spotted my vehicle and assisted me installing the spare in place of the wheel and tire that suddenly came off the vehicle. Upon, inspection of my Honda Pilot the police officers noted that multiple lug nuts on the three remaining wheels and tires were lose to the point of falling off. After tightening the multiple lose lug nuts on the three remaining wheels and filing a damage to private property report with the officers, I was able to drive my damaged car to a local Firestone.My most recent service was from Basney Honda on Grape Road in Mishawaka, Indiana. On July 17th, I paid for a full synthetic oil change, a tire rotation, and a multi-point inspection on my vehicle. The mileage on my Honda at the time 159,006. Comparatively, the mileage on my Honda when the wheel and tire came off was 160,091. That means only 15 days and 1,085 miles had passed since the service visit. Based off general manufacturers maintenance guidelines, tire rotations should last 6 months or 3,000-5,000 miles or until the next oil change.On August 3rd I spoke to the service manager of Basney Honda, Alan Royce, about the incident. After informing him of the date of the incident and the mileage on my car he told me that a Basney insurance claim could not be started until he received an estimate from a body shop on the damages to my vehicle. With that being the case, on August 6th I drove my 2004 Honda Pilot from Firestone to a local body shop where I received and forwarded the estimate to Alan Royce.From August 6th through August 16th I called Alan Royce 12 times trying to get updates on the status of my vehicle. Every time I called to get an update I would either be sent straight to his voicemail or his only answer was that he would call me back. Alan, refused to call me back when he said he would. In addition to Alan’s refusal to update me on the status of the repair, Alan also informed me that an insurance adjuster would arrive at the repair facility to inspect my vehicle. This turned out to be another lie, as an inspector never came. So, to add insult to injury, the insurance underwriter NEVER came to look at my vehicle and I never spoke with anyone from Basney’s insurance company. Alan continued to play this game until August 19th when he called to inform me that Basney WOULD NOT be covering the damages to my vehicle because of the 15 days that had passed along with the 1,085 miles that were driven. Although, the maintenance schedule says it should last 6 months or 3,000 miles.To summarize what happened. My transportation needs are not their concern as I went 18 days without transportation. Their character and integrity are not their concern as I was lied to on several occasions. Contacting their “insurance company” is not a concern as they never gave me any opportunity to share my events with the company or an adjuster. The negligence of their employees is not their concern as it not only damaged my vehicle, but could have done catastrophic damage to other innocent travelers. My safety and that of my family is not their concern. It is clear that nothing they say, do, or imply is of any concern. I understand mistakes can happen. I have never one time indicated that I would sue, take action with Honda, or even raised my voice. All I asked was that they simply take responsibility for the mistake, and make me whole.I believe my experience should tell you all you need to know if you are considering a business transaction with Basney Honda.I would like you to take away two things. First, God is good and kept my brother and I alive. Second DO NOT visit Basney Honda for any reason. Let my poor experience be a learning experience for you. Basney does not care about your health, time, or your vehicle.

This dealership is very shady. They kept delaying repairs to my van up to 3 months. And then when my wife picked up the vehicle she noticed some strange sounds. According to them, it was just the new parts getting acclimated. However 3 weeks later, we had a leak. We took the vehicle back to them informing them of the issue. But they said they did not work on that side of the engine. I’m sorry but the experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. Customer beware.

Got a 30,000 service recently. While the work seemed fine, the pricing seemed a bit strange (such as a $50 charge for shop supplies which was distinct from charging us for fluids and parts used on the actual service. Furthermore, the tire pressure alert came on just days after taking it to be serviced. Come to find that several tires had a pressure of 27 or less psi, and one of the caps for the tire tube was missing. Getting my oil changed there was always a good experience, but if I need anything else done to the vehicle I will probably try to find somewhere else before going back to Basney Honda.

Im very disappointed with the service department. Ive tried twice to have my 27 year old daughters car repaired there. They focus more on finding issues than addressing the check engine light on her 2010 crv. 3 days ago the ran up a 221 repair bill abd didnt fix anything. When I called Allen the service manager he said the charges were justified and would do anything. we will never take another vehicle there. Be aware of what youre being charged for. They will add a 33 dollar shop supplies fee even if its just diagnostic. What a bad way to do business and take advantage of customers. I left 2 voice mails for th gm and no call back after 3 days.

Service was very good and the work was performed as promised. The only negative thing I can say is that I received a list of items which according to the dealer needed Immediate Attention. On this list was both the front and rear brakes. I had installed new rear brakes 3 weeks prior. It seems like brakes are something that dealers always want to change to increase the bill. Incidents like this are why I do the vast majority of my own service work.

Had it not been for his competence and knowledge I would have been screwed over by this warranty company. I came in to change the oil in my car. Years ago they used to ask me what oil do I want, because there are many options to choose from. And it plays a role with the price. But this time when I came in, they haven’t asked me anything and basically took over my car without asking any questions or any concerns. After they’ve finished changing the oil, they came in and told me that they had changed also a driver break light. Of which I didn’t even ask for them to do. Before doing something extra, they should be asking the customer rather than doing it themselves. Not knowing if the customer wanted that or can even afford it.

This dealership has had mine and my familys business for 20 years and they just lost a loyal customer. Was told that when I turned in my leased vehicle that the remaining payment would be covered by Basney Honda because I signed a new lease for a new car (with them). Now, after a month of having my new car Im being told I have to pay the remaining payment on the car I already turned in. Get all the facts people. Ask questions and read your lease!

Came here for a wholesale part. It was easy to find the Parts counter. The gentleman that helped me was friendly. The cashier that I cashed out with was pleasant to talk to. Nice place.
