The driver who delivers our water is the best professional and friendly also when we pay our bill by phone the receptionist is friendly and professional. We have a water cooler and only give our turtle and puppy Culligan water. I got my daughter hooked on Culligan water we buy it for her and she only drinks Culligan water and so did we. Culligan water ROCKS

If I could give zero stars I would! The first issue I have is when I called to make an appointment I left a message asking for a call back. Two weeks passed and I never had anyone contact me. When I was finally able to get a hold of the company the lady was so rude it was almost as if I was bothering her at work. She kept sighing into the phone and hung up before I could even thank her. Once the technician came out to the house he didnt even wear shoe covers. It was muddy and snowy outside and he tracked all of that sludge and snow all through my house. I have a young daughter who is still playing on the floors and I did not appreciate him tracking in all of that dirt and germs. Then after he sees that I have a toddler who is very mobile he leaves my basement door open when he goes down stairs and she almost fell down the stairs! How inconsiderate to not only track germs, dirt and water all through my house, but then to put my child in danger- unbelievable. If you want excellent customer service, clean technicians and a respectable company I suggest calling Home Comfort Experts. They service water softeners and RO systems and they are, hands down, the best company I have ever dealt with. I will NEVER use Culligan again. Its sad how many companies lack the customer service and common sense that comes with running a company.

Installation and performance have been excellent. We have had no need for repairs. Due to a recent remodeling project, we needed to relocate our R/O filters and lines. Culligan promptly came and helped us with this project.

Excellent customer service . I called them requesting servicing my RO system and with no water coming . I was prepared for some hefty bill but guess what. Guy came in and fix it with no charge. He was so honest and helpful. God bless!

We just love our Culligan delivery person. He is such a delight. Even through all this contactless world we find ourselves we appreciated the safety, professionalism, and kindness our delivery man provides. Our delivery man takes an extra moment to wave at my excited toddlers (1 & 3 years old) and it just makes their day. Thank you.

Ive had an exceptionally poor experience with Culligan. I rented a water softener from them. When I signed up for the rental, they promised that I would never even have to touch the water softener.Some things that have gone wrong:- They did not mention that the softener would barely fit in my utility closet, making it all-but impossible to service my furnace or hot water heater.- During installation the plumber caused a fire in my utility closet—and did not mention it (the wall was scorched and I found my toasted vacuum cleaner manual in a bucket.)- The plumbing that was installed leaked, requiring another service visit.- I was told that I would be called to schedule salt delivery, but was not. The service man left three 50lb bags of salt in my car port, which were nearly too heavy to move.- Flat-out have not responded to my emails.There is more, but I will leave it at that. Overall extremely underwhelmed by their customer service (with the except of one service provider.) Would generally not recommend buying or renting a water softener from them.

Culligan water softener a are great! I also have the water filter system which we LOVE! What a difference that makes. I love that I get a reminder post card when its time for filter changes. The technicians who come are prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. I am pleased with their honesty about what my units might need and the efficient manner repairs are made.

I can not say enough Great things about the prompt, courteous and knowledgeable info that i got from MY Culligan service man! His name is Doug,,,,, I have always changed ALL my own filters for the 12 years I have had the Culligan soft water AND the Culligan reverse osmosis water filter system they installed in 2007! I am a do-it yourself type person to start with, BUT this year i decided to let the Culligan experts check out my entire system and change the needed filters. Saved me from buying a filter I did NOT need yet! Doug checked the settings I had on the system and did make some changes that I had that were a little off. Doug had everything checked and replaced in short order! Just what i expected,,, BUT wait... When he came upstairs to check the reverse osmosis drinking water faucet which checked out GREAT! Dont remember the numbers but it was as pure or BETTER than any bottled water I can buy! He spent a good twenty minutes answering questions and testing ALL the different types of BOTTLED drinking water that I had been buying to take out when we went traveling or just would be gone for an all day outing!Turns out that my CULLIGAN reverse osmosis was even better than any of the bottled waters I have been buying when NOT at home! Not happy with the service at all. I asked for my softener to be cleaned. Technician came out and spent about 5 minutes looking at my water softener at a home I just purchased only to say it was too old and I need a new one. No water test, no testing of the unit yet I was charged $133 for 5 minutes. I was then scheduled for another visit to get an estimate for a new unit. I decided to get a second opinion as I had just had a home inspection and was told unit worked. Second company came out and thoroughly checked my current unit and tested my water and it was just fine. Let me also point out that this other reputable company did not charge for the initial visit and spent at least 30 minutes here. Culligan almost had me buy a new unit with no testing and charged me $133 service fee for nothing and didnt do the cleaning I had originally asked them to come out for.

They only get 1 star because 0 stars isnt an option. Nothing but trouble with their poor customer service for months. Its like pulling teeth getting Kurt, the sales manager, to call back when there is a problem. After calling and calling and getting no resolution, I complained on the website. He called back and said they are working on it. They werent. Finally the general manager arranged for the installation of a tannin filter for $1000 extra that they originally told me I didnt need. They installed it poorly. Didnt put the tank inside the plastic case and the condensation caused puddles in my basement. They plugged it into an extension cord suspended from the ceiling by the plug.Horrible service from a horrible company. Spend your money elsewhere.

Disappointed...... I went online to see what promotions they had going on and found one for $49.99 that includes test, tune and sanitize any system. Great, exactly what I needed.I called the office to schedule that appointment. A few days later a sales rep came to my door from Culligan of Mishawaka IN. I thought it was odd he didnt bring his service truck nor any tools. So my next question to him was ok how are you going to test tune and sanitize my water softener? He then told me that the office sends him out to test the water to find out how hard it is so that when the tech comes out he will have the correct information to then test, tune and sanitize my water softener system.Ok now he tells me about my water. He gave me information on what good drinking water should be and where my water is at. Recommended that a Reverse Osmosis system would be in my best interest. I then told him I would need some time to think about it.Then I asked well then when will my water softener be tested, tuned and sanitized. He said that he would have a rep from the office call me to get someone out here for that. Finally the office called scheduled another appointment for the same dear god appointment. TEST, TUNE and SANITIZE.Tech comes out tells me what issues I have with my water softener. Then gives me the prices for EACH testing, tuning and sanitizing my system. I explained to him and even showed him the online coupon from their website which clearly states the price and the services included. He then calls the office and he tells me thats what the other sales rep did for that coupon...... So I then asked ok he may have tested the water but if that coupon was for tuning and sanitizing. What the heck did he tune and sanitize? No response. I ended up spending $133.00 for him to look at my water softener. NO TESTING NO TUNING NO SANITIZING just a waste of time and money. False advertising! Very disappointed, run around sales tactics.

Jack Hayghee was great. We purchased a new home from another state and did not realize the natural condition of the water until after the home was purchased. My kids were bathing in brown sulphur smelling water. Jack made a stressful situation much less stressful as he provided a solution that works great. Now we can not only bathe in our water, we can drink it too!

I really thought that by calling Culligan we were calling the best. I was disappointed with the entire Sales Process, their Sales Manager called and belittled my wife. We were going to have the reverse osmosis water filtration taken out but just didnt want them back in the home. The installer Matt was very nice and was the best part of the situation. I have tried calling back to get information on some shutoff valves that were put in but do not get a response.If Culligan ia the best I guess I would hate to see the rest.

We contacted Culligan because we needed to replace our broken water softener and heard they offered an initial free consultation. The technician Jack H. was professional on the first visit. He informed us of the benefits of purchasing the system and provided us a water analysis report. After discussing the cost for the purchase which was nearly $2500, we thanked him for his time and let him know we would get back with him if we wanted to move forward with the purchase. Unfortunately, $2500 is a lot more than we are able to invest on a water softener at this time. We never once denied the quality of the Culligan system. We decided to shop around to see if we could find an affordable water softener and hire someone to install it at a reasonable price. Around a week later Jack called my husband asking if we had decided and since we hadnt my husband stated to Jack again that we would contact him if we were deciding to move forward. Jack became more of a pushy salesman over the phone trying to pressure my husband into purchasing the system however at this time we really hadnt decided and knew that although we needed a water softener $2500 was over our budget. Thankfully, a month or so later we were able to purchase an affordable water softener and with a help of a friend installed it all for $500. We saved ourselves over 2K. Jack contacted us a final time and my spouse apologized for not getting back with him but informed him that we decided to purchase a water softener elsewhere but thanked him for his time and service. Jack than proceeded to send us text messages stating that for us cost is the only way we determine value and that we wouldnt know what value is until we start having problems with our water softener. He stated he wished we would have been honest with him from the beginning and not given him the runaround. First of all Jack, Culligan was an option but it wasnt our only option so if you require potential clients to give you a yes or no answer in their initial consultation than you need to state this upfront. To me this means, I dont care if you guys couldnt afford it and now that you bought a non-culligan water softener you are doomed to have problems. Well guess what buddy, our system is working great. Dont be sour because I didnt fall for your youre going to get cancer if you dont purchase Culligan scare tactics during your sales pitch. Maybe you should try a different approach. Not everyone is as gullible as you think.Moving forward, I would recommend that you not text clients because its apparent that while doing so you dont know how to carry yourself professionally.

We have been in contract with Culligan for 2 years, renting a unit. The unit has been subpar from the start, with smelly, yellow water. We chose not to make regular payments for the unit, as we were not getting the service we were allegedly paying for. We called techs out 4 times to complain about the water quality, and each time culligan did their special water test, letting us know its soft. The softener itself doesnt run on its own, it needs to be manually turned on every night or it wont run on a timer like it should. We were told our power must have surged and thats why it wasnt cycling. Nope. That did not happen. It continued to fail to run unless manually prompted after their visit. We called AGAIN. Finally one tech came out, let us know our unit was far too old and insufficient for the levels of impurity in our water. He let us know that he would send someone out to bring a brand new unit. Suddenly, we never heard from him again and a new tech came out to tell us to pay our bill. We complained about the service we were receiving and explained that we were not willing to pay in full for something we were not receiving. We were then told that the problem was not with the unit, that it had to do with our water heater and the rod inside that emits sulferous smells when dealing with softening salt. We were told to take out the rod (which would void our warranty). During this process of dealing with culligan, we had a brand new water heater put in, and the foul smell and color were present with both the old water heater and the new one. It had nothing to do with the rod. Then we were told by culligan to shock the well. We had someone else come out from Mauer, and they told us our poor water quality was due to the poor water softening unit we were using and that shocking the well would be a pure waste of our money. Period. When we brought this up with culligan YET AGAIN, we were told our payments were late, to take out the rod, and that our water was testing as soft. Culligan is a scam, with a poor business model, poorly trained technicians, who accept no fault for their poor quality products and services.

This is why you should not buy a Culligan water softener unit. I have been employee for 15 years there and in that time I have seen so many bad things that I cant even remember them all. But I do remember some that I will share so you will understand. I have watched a salesman at culligan by the name of Kurt sells tell customers that culligan reverse osmosis drinking water system would cure there cancer or prevent them from getting cancer. They always try to scare customers into buying culligans equipment by lying to them saying if they dont buy there system chances of getting cancer is more likely. I seen this at one customers house that Culligan salesman Kurt Sells told this older guy that was very nice and had only a month or two to live that are drinking water system would kill his cancer cells and that he put in another unit in for another customer that had cancer and he is still living today. I could not believe my ears when he was saying this horrible stuff. The softener that the customer had was not even broken. The culligan salesman went downstairs put the unit in bypass went back up stairs tested the water in front of the customer showed him that the water was hard when it really was not. He sold him 4500 hundred dollars in equipment that the customer didnt even need . That customer died two weeks later I went back to bypass the unit because there was nobody living there. There son was there from Chicago and upset he asked me why would we sell him so much equipment that he didnt have the money for. I just told him he would have call his salesman. It killed me not to tell him because I had someone in my family that had cancer so I know how expensive things can be . So I went back to the shop to tell my boss Steve Gipson about the whole thing and told him we should give his money back to his family because it would be the right thing to do. Then he told me it was none of my business and I should keep my mouth shut or he would fire me. Also I was in so many other houses that the salesman would only sell the most expensive unit so they would get more commission and bonuses. The customer would ask me sometimes when I was putting the unit in .They would say so thats the only unit u guys have and I could not say anything about the other units or I would get in trouble. It was just pure bad business.The owner Steve Gipson would always keep secrets and would lie to his employees. I would tell him so many times I needed help taking old units out because they would weigh 300lbs or more and he would lie to me and say at my other culligans the guys dont have that problem getting the units out. Well needless to say I got hurt really bad and had to have surgery he never called not even one time to see if I was ok. In that time that was recovering at home I was still communicating with the other employees. I found out one guy broke there back at another one of his other culligans and several other people where hurt also.There was one employee that I knew sense he was a kid. He called me and was very sad told me that the people at the shop was making things really tuff on him and he couldnt tell Steve Gipson the owner because he wouldnt listen and would just say my guys in kendallville dont have that problem. So I told him to just hang in there it would get better . The next day he shot him self. The owner at Culligan Steve Gipson didnt even go to his own employees funeral . I know what a lot of people will say that is reading this that I am just a mad employee. But I am not. I left them.I didnt get fired and I have been doing this line of work for over 25 years now and worked for other honest water softener companys that dont lie to there customers and there employees. I have never wrote one bad thing about them . I had to leave culligan because I could not work for a company that does not care about there employees or customers.They are the best con artists in the business. So water softener customers beware.
