I was referred to West Coast Auto by the Honda dealer. I like the staff and so far I think they did a good job. Today they installed their recommended new backup camera, new receiver, and new blind spot warning system. I left before receiving the usual orientation and overview about the new equipment because it took four hours longer than their time estimate. Unfortunately I had not planned 6 hours for them to complete the job. I was given an estimate of approx 2 or 3 hours. I would not have scheduled 6 hours of service today because of other priorities. I left under pressure to get to a meeting on time. I think their recommended equipment suits my needs well though I havent yet had the opportunity to use it much.

I went in to get my sub wired into my new car and thinking I needed new speakers to match the output of my sub, I was able to speak with an employee and instead of spending a bunch of money I didnt have he suggested an amp which is absolutely perfect. The employees are knowledgeable, considerate, and great at their jobs! They didnt push anything like some stereo places do and I didnt feel pressured into buying anything. I cant say enough great things about this place!

I had a very fun experience visiting West Coast Auto Sound, It got recommended to me by one of my friends who has put a stereo system and enjoys it very much, so i thought i would give them a try. Brian and Frank were very helpful in showing me around the entire shop and i ended up putting an entire system which is 4 speakers and i also got a really high tech dash camera. Thank you guys, i will definitely recommend all my friends to the shop.

West coast installed a 10.5 head unit and replaced all the blown factory speakers in my sequoia. Looks awesome, sounds great and they were very fast. 5 star service

After calling 3 other audio places that told me they couldn’t fit me in for a rear camera before an Offroad trip to Moab in my Gen 1 raptor Brian told me to come by at 9am the next morning. I showed up Brian looked at it got his crew on it and had me out of there in under 2 hours. Good clean install on my Offroad bumper!

First time car-owner here; Im an eighteen-year-old college student, so my budget wasnt all too high when I came in looking to get a new stereo in my 2001 Toyota Avalon XL. Brian was immediately receptive to this and found me an affordable bluetooth-compatible stereo, rang me up for the cables needed, and asked if I wanted a full-car tint at a discount (I told him Id take him up on the offer next week). While I waited, he and I talked about car models, and he even noted that he remembered meeting my father a couple of years ago. 300 dollars later and I have an awesome stereo in my comparatively ancient car, and it took them all of 25 minutes to install. Another guy who had worked on it helped me pair to it immediately afterwards, and everybody involved was polite. Excellent service, excellent worksmanship, and awesome atmosphere. Five stars, will be coming back.

These guys were fantastic! My son started a stereo install, got in over his head. I brought them the car with very little hope that it could be saved, and West Coast Auto Sound did an AMAZING job of making it right. Any one with any sound system issues or installs should use this company.

These guys are great!! I tried to install a new stereo in my 1997 Honda CR-V, and failed horribly. In about three hours they were able to completely rewire everything in my car and it all worked perfectly. With their low prices and great services, I would highly suggest them.

Excellent customer service! Very helpful and knowledgeable! Went in to get my stereo back to being functional and Brian looked at it and advised me on what needed to be done for a low price. He also advised that its appointments only since it was the weekend but if I came in the following morning he would work on my truck since it was a small project. The next day I was there when they opened and I was in and out of there in less than an hour. Thank you guys very much!

I got an alarm and sound system installed, the staff Frank and Brian were super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. When I noticed some concerns on my car they were more than happy to help fix the issue. I took it back they put and new unit straight to the battery and works as it is intended. Great sound system thank you guys!

Fast and friendly service. Only issue I have is that a piece of my seat was damaged during installation of my amp. Its an easy part to replace in my Charger but I only found out about it because I put my seat down to let the amp breath. All in all I do recommend this shop for amp and sub installation. Taking my little brother in the next week or so to do his car speaker upgrade.

They added an amp and sub w/box on my Gen 2 prius for a good price (stock speakers were already extremely loud just needed that extra thump), will definitely come back for all my future car audio needs.

Brian and his crew were great. Didnt try and sell me the most expensive stuff. Brian had more of a minimalist attitude and said lets start with just an amp and go from there. I already knew I wanted more then that and decided to upgrade all the speakers since they were going to have to run new wire to them from the amp anyways. Brian gave me reasonable options and didnt try and sell me the best most expensive stuff. They did an excellent job and were careful with my car. The stereo sounds great! Four times I have gone in for assistance for my satellite radio over the last five years. These guys were unbelievably attentive and so fabulous! I cannot recommend them enough for their extraordinary customer service, positive attitude and cost! They do not get any better than this. I recommend these guys highly for all your auto audio needs.

Bryan and Hector killed it ! I purchased a headunit from them. Installed it myself. Had a couple issues. Brought my truck down at 650pm, 10 minutes to close. Hector was the technician that came out to help diagnose my issue with newly purchased headunit. Hector was quick and professional. Had a few other concerns come up after my install and Bryan advised to bring it down. Brought it out and once again Hector was able to quickly diagnose the concern and got it fixed. I am a believer in this shop. Ive been to several audio shops around and have been met with nothing but horrible customer service and poor attitudes. THANK YOU WEST COAST AUTO SOUND !

WOW. Called to inquire as to what the cost would be for installation of door speakers if I purchased there. Most places charge $30-$60 per pair. Wanted to support a local business but the dude literally hung up on me! Not a chance Im ever going to this place, and you can bet Ill share my experience. Good work to whoever answered the phone!

I came in looking to get my amp looked at, and after talking to AJ i realized that to bypass my stock amped they were going to have to rewire everything. This was a great opportunity to upgrade my sound system. Aj walked me through the options available and helped put together a great sounding system. He also mentioned being under BRAND NEW MANAGEMENT to ensure me that he would overlook the installation as a whole. Talk to Aj, Tell them I sent you! ;)

I came in to West Coast Auto Sound with a work truck with audio which isnt working. I wasnt sure if it was just the radio or the radio and the speakers that need to be replaced. They were eager to pull the truck around and get me to hand them my keys. They did a very short inspection (about 5 minutes) and then told me the radio and all four speakers needed to be replaced. I asked the pricing and told them Id have to get approval from my company before we could move forward. The staff member then, out of the blue, told me I was required to pay a $30 inspection fee, which had never been discussed or mentioned prior. This, of course, could be credited back to me if I spent $400+ with them. Being in a service industry myself, I know its not hard at all to let customers know about charges PRIOR to performing work. Despite their pricing being comparable to other places Ive researched and a quick turnaround time, the whole situation was very uncomfortable and pushy. Ill be getting the work done elsewhere.

This place is amazing. I came in to fix my aux in my 09 Corolla and ended up leaving with a new alpine stereo that I am in love with. Not only is the quality of the device amazing but the price is what really got me. They didnt rip me off like most places tried to before, and they installed it incredibly fast. I am so happy with its blue tooth capabilities as well as its hands free calling. Everyone in there is so down to earth and are straight up with you. I didnt feel pressured or like I was being sold on anything at all which to me means a lot. I will definitely be coming back here for any stereo needs and etc.

Junior came out and looked at our DVD car system and set us up with no charge. He easily could have sold us a $150 fix but instead showed me how to bypass the existing setup. Ill be back here with any audio issues - anyone that honest gets my return business hands down !!!!UPDATE: one year later had an issue with a latch not closing. WOW!! They took care of it right away. Seriously BEST customer service I have seen in years. They know their stuff and have great prices!!!

Ive been to quite a few radio audio stores and I must say West Coast auto sound is by far the best most inexpensive which you can never use those two words together but Jr who heads that store does an amazing job I have a 2012 Lexus ES 350 I was quoted a price he stood by it no matter what even though there was issues with certain vendors but his famous words were we will take care of it and he did, he put in a pioneer AVH-2330 . Thanks for the guys in the back (Humberto,and Anthony ) its crazy how many places that you go to and try to get a quote and literally when it came to this job I was quoted probably almost double the amount of what I paid and most people would say well you get what you pay for .WELL I got more than what I paid for thanks West Coast Auto Sound Everything works and sounds great.

Took my Ford Expedition for some speakers and a sub and amp hookup !When I went to pick up the vehicle i couldn’t drive it out of the shop because they had wired/shorted out something in the dash that led to serious damage to the drivetrain !Long story short this company is shady and dishonest ! We took them to small claims and won over $3000 worth of damage to the vehicle.The judge at the time revealed they had several ongoing cases against them .Be careful !

They did a fantastic job installing my Auto-Vox video recorder system in my car. Works great and the price was fair for a very complicated system.

I went there one week and spoke to Brian and I said I would be back in 2 weeks and he not only honored the price he gave me but gave me an upgrade on my speakers for 1994 Acura Legend and cut the price a little more to work with me. All he would say I will take care of you and he did. they also went above and beyond fixed my antenna in my car where I got some stations. next i will be back for my subs and amp. i highly recommend West Coast Audio and no where else will i go.

Stopped by Friday to ask about a replacement for a Kenwood in 89 325i. I got a recommendation and a quote I took it in Sunday (hours are 11:00 to 5:00) and got new one installed. Also got up sold on four new speakers. Manager came out and showed me how to work all the features. Stress-less experience.

Things did not go as planned. I have yet to have a resolution for the issues I faced with my install, but I feel its time to move on. All the best.

High prices

It is my opinion that they are shady and dishonest. They had only one guy there who was worth a damn, but I can see that the guy who I believe is the owner likes to step in and screw the potential customers. NEVER GOING BACK!

What happened to polite,, explaining politely. I have been there and both times, a bit of a attitude . last time was Twp years ago so I dont remember the guy, this time, African american older guy. Busy talking about how long he has been doing this and putting down my idea of what I wanted. Prices not great either.

These guys were the only ones who took the time to take a look and help me. Older car with lousy reception. The recommended a new antenna which did the trick, so I bought a new upgraded radio too.

I went in just the other day and told them that i had a deck, amplifier and sub woofer all connected but that the sub woofer was not hitting. they said they needed 40$ just to look at it. i thought it would have been a stupid and simple fix. 20 mins later they told me my amp was bad even though it turns on. then tried to sell me a new one with free installation. i went home and checked my ground and now it works fine. GREAT JOB ON ROBBING YOUR CUSTOMERS

They put alarm on my car for 230usd and broke my electric in the car, now my car is always whit headlights on. And when I turned off the car the lights Ist still on for 10 minutes. I never go back there.

Dont go there!!! They made a rats nest in my dashboard... the only way I knew was my sunroof leaked and shorted my unit, so during my investigating the damage found this mess inside!!! DONT GO THERE EVER, spend a few extra bucks and go to mission viejo auto stereo of via fabricante well worth it!!

$hady business. My 6x9s stopped putting out sound. They said I blew my speakers, so I bought new Alpines for over $100, but caught the two Middle Eastern guys working, laughing at the situation, so wasnt comfortable with them...Told my buddy who is in the biz and he said I totally just blew a fuse in my amp that wouldve costed me $5... Did they give you your old speakers back? No. Did they give you the boxes for the new speakers you bought? No. Got punked, lesson learned. Dont risk your time/money!

They ripped me off. They overcharged me and wouldnt give me my original radio claiming it needs to be recycled. The radio they installed blew out my speakers in one week.

Tore my leather, refused to make right. They could not perform the install. Took it to al and eds and they did it in 3 hours.

This place sucks, they tear up your carpet and leave holes, overpriced, and their customer service absolutely sucks.Waste of money!
