Not a lot of staff around but the one that actually helped me (now it doesnt say her name on the receipt not that me failing to get it means it should be, needless to say operator#002327) was very friendly but efficient. And that is what I like in a cashier, I dont care for idle chit chat at the register. Im always late so usually in a hurry, I just dont have the time most of the time. So props to her job well done. Other than that I kept this trip short unlike this post. Most of my time was spent in cosmetics. Where I made a purchase, thats where I was helped by operator#002327. I proceeded down a craft aisle, found some beads, walked around the jewelry counter and hit the self check out. What I saw was clean. A fairly uneventful visit. Perfect. Here is what I picked up.

They have everything n anything you need the lines are ridiculously long. They have all these cash registers but only 2 open. Fast check out is a dumb idea since you can only use a credit card.

What a completely stupid setup that store has, they have self-checkout that doesnt accept cash payment and usually only one clerk running cash register and 20 people in line with shopping cart full of like 300-400 items and then you have a person holding one item in the back of the line. Meanwhile the clerk cant shut her mouth long enough to scan items faster theres more security guards than there are clerks and there are employees all over the place nobody trying to help out that one single Clerk what a joke Ill never go there again

Ordered online, they let me know my order was ready, I let them know I was on my way, parked on the pick up area, called them and within 5 minutes I was leaving. Thank you for helping me so fast.

Great store actually its my favorite out of all. Very clean and tidy and always has hard workers helping out in any way possible. I would definitely recommend this store. If I had any complaints it would be that they never have enough cashier on the floor especially when its busy busy. They do the best and I give them credit.

Customer service team was uneducated and not able to comprehend a simple battery warranty. Brought back my “5year warranty” battery. This battery was 3 weeks out of the 3 year full battery replacement window. Great, I understand that but there is a 2 year pro-rated warranty to conclude the “5year warranty”. Neither member of the customer service team was educated enough to understand the simple pro rated warranty nor were they able to figure out anything other than declining my entire warranty. After spending 15 mins with customer service trying to explain to two different members I didn’t want a full replacement I just wanted my prorated warranty fulfilled as stated right on the battery in front of them, I gave up. You can’t fix stupid. I’ll be taking my business else where. If you can’t fulfill your obligations to the products you stand behind and sell in your store then I will shop else where.

Nice store. The Atkins. Keto section could be better. Very limited. The vitamin section was a train wreck. Everything else was decent.Id return again

Its an up and down battle at this one. Most of the battle is downward. But sometimes I am surprised to see it more up kept. Everythings locked up now so online shopping would be more convenient and probably quicker.

It was really clean. Shelves were well stocked. Although they did not have any windshield washer fluid. Bummer.

I am very excited that we have a super knowledgeable manager CATHY, who works in the Pickup and delivery department at the McHenry Supercenter store in Modesto. I honestly feel comfortable make very large purchases online each week, because just in case theres a problem, Cathy will do her best to fix it. Besides being a hard worker, she is very polite and trustworthy too.

Placed an order for pickup. They texted and said my order was ready. I messaged that I was on my way well before I left for the store. After arriving, I sat for over 20 minutes after letting then know I was there. At that point, a young lady approached and said it could be over an hour more before my order came out because they were very busy and very disorganized. I had only five items in my order and two of them were duplicates (2 each). Never doing that again!

Prices arent the best and store is not as picked up as it could be in the home goods area. Grocery section is in a Lil better arrangement. Only real problem is the clerks are very slow at check out. ...

Its gets very frustrating when your in need of something locked up and I kid you not 12 employees walk by you and not one had a key two people called on their radio one guy his key didnt work ...waited a good 35mins for some formula...

I rarely shop here because this Walmart is lacking in alot of ways. From empty shelves to poor customer service. I definitely do not go here alone after dark. Dark lot and street.

I drove passed the low profile WalMart supercenter .5 times. And I was paying attention. And using Maps app and still had to finally throw all reason to the wind and make best decision. And dive right in. And there was the invisible WalMart .Probably some kind municipal code restricting signage or something. . What ever the reason for this Ive never been so. Bamboozled I didnt even enter the store.. Five times.

They have good selection, employees not very helpful they send you to whatever aisle is furthest from them to avoid helping you.

The curbside pick up process all together, including check-in procedure, is completely inefficient and a waste of time. Horrible service and lack of organization tells me you need to fire whoever manages that. You have to wait over 30 minutes after checking in just to get someone. And then theres not enough people helping. Had to cancel the order and it took me less time to go in the store and buy the item. Luckily it was in stock. I would not recommend this location (and maybe not even Walmart in general) after this continuing experience. No, this is not an isolated experienced. Its more than once.

We bought a 2 child trailer to attach to the mountain bike we also bought on Saturday. It was too much for me to carry while my spouse took my son to use the restroom. A younger Walmart employee helped me take the L cart out to our truck and load both of them up for me. It was an amazingly positive experience bc the employee was very helpful and very nice and was also great with my 4 year old. I meant to get the name off the name tag, then completely forgot to look for it. I was extremely grateful and loved the entire experience. Its easy to get on here and criticize everything on a negative experience, but I genuinely wonder how often there are positive contributions on here when they go above and beyond what they have to. Thank you for all your help and I will look for you next time were there, so i can get your name and give credit where its due. 💗💗💗💗💗

Grocery order pick is terrible. Twice now my order has been delayed for hours and when it is ready within the time slot I selected I wait on average 30 mins sometimes longer for them to bring it out to my car. I understand some places are short staffed but this seems to very unorganized too. Don’t offer a service you can’t provide.

Pretty clean and staff is friendly. Only been here a handful of times. I was disappointed in their bow selection for gifts. They only had single ones and not a big pack with multiple. Oh well.

Walmart is always a mixed bag. Decent prices, but the selection is like playing wheel of fortune. Also, entertainment is near limitless. Humanity tends to get a little more boisterous and relaxed around the local Walmart.

Always rude and disrespectful.We tried to call Wal-Mart around 8PM and there was no answer,we let the phone ring for about 10 minutes or so. As that is approximately how long it takes for me to drive there. We made a commitment about it and the person in charge acted like it was no big deal. Target is so much better than Wal-Mart. I was not the one that bought the merchandise. I was just the driver for my boyfriend. I DONT SHOP THERE. I shop at Target.

Store is remodeling so everything is not where it was last time I shopped there but Im sure it will be great. The store is clean, and clerks are always busy. This Modesto Super Walmart has a lot of parking and stays open till 10.00pm

A couple of people walked out Infront of me but she didnt ask for their receipts. I gave it to her and told her to keep it when she tried giving it back. Idk what that was about but I think I have a pretty good idea. Smh

Very, very busy and only 2 cashiers. The lines were so long, they went down aisles. So nobody could stop them. I felt so sorry for the CSMs and anyone else that worked there, were being yelled at by customers. Not right. Its not their fault. I may not go to this store again.

Was shorted $65.05 worth of groceries today after getting home from picking up my order at the McHenry Ave store! Have been trying to reach an employee since 9:30am. Im handicapped with no immune system, so going in the store is not a priority option for us immunocompromised folks these days. Been hung-up on countless times after having been on hold for 45 minutes!! All I would like is a credit for what was missing or, an opportunity to pick up those missing items! What happened to customer service??? I bet the store management is real proud of that operation(Ha. Ha.)!

They were remodeling and the store was in such disarray you couldnt find anything you were looking for. Wont be going back until renovations are done if then. Was definitely not a happy shopper!😤😤😡😡

Not enough registers open for the massive amount of shoppers. Not enough staff for assistance. Wanted to buy socks and Waited for 15min. There was also a lot of items blocking the path way causing people to walk very close to each other making physical distance very hard to practice. Of the staff that was available she was able to help and even offered to try and get a key for the socks.

Good visit to the far East Walmart in Modesto. Got lucky and found the Teen Titans Cyborg figure before the release date on 10/27 for $19.99, last one!

Exactly what youd expect from the chain store owned by the richest family in... America? The world? Whichever, definitely a 5 star experience.

Its Walmart and they mess with the prices i got some meat that said $10 on the packaging but the price thingy said $4 I grabbed 2 of them not really knowing the actual price and when it was scanned i rold.the worker and ahowed her a pic the worker started trying to explain why it is actually $10 and I was just like whatever Ill call corporate

I have been getting the pick up orders and for the most part its been good. I do think they need to train the employees on exactly how to put groceries in a car, and sometimes not giving enough bags, but what do I expect for free? Its easy to get a refund for missing or damaged items through the app. But that early is necessary. Over like it because Im still doing it 😏 Beats having to go into the store.

I love Walmart!! Its economical and has just about you need from medicine to paint, toys, clothing you name it and they probably have something to suit your needs. The only downside to this Walmart is not alot of variety to choose from cause its also a full grocery store. Other than that cant complain. The staff is friendly and polite and helpful.

The guy I found working in the electronics section said that it wasnt actually his area so I had to wait 20 mins for someone to shop up after he intercommed them. Eventually I went a found someone to help me and when he opened the cage I had been waiting to access the item I was looking for wasnt in stock even though the online store said they had it in store. When I asked the employee if they could be somewhere else he said it wasnt his department and walked away.

Store was very chaotic and hard to even get up and down the isles. Workers where restocking and moving things around and were very rude in the process. I get they have a job to do but the syorebis not 24hrs anymore so all the craziness sould be done once store is closed, and staff deffently should not treat customers like they are in there way and a bother for being in the store shopping while they are trying to move things and rearrange. It was so bad that even a manager cut me off and acted like I was in her way when I was trying to look at shoes.

I had to pick up an order that my mother placed for curb side pick up. I assumed it was in her name. After 1 1/2 hrs of waiting. I asked one of the employees what was going on. She asked for the name & order number. I was then told that the name on that order wasnt matching. Turns out it was in my name. Why no one came to ask about that is beyond me. Instead they just pushed it aside & let me sit out side in 100 degrees weather for almost 2 hrs. & said nothing. I would have been there longer if i had not spoke up. Which actually was the second time i said something about how long i had been waiting.

Not a very cheap place to purchase goods anymore its not like Kmart with the blue light special its more like a red light that dont go green having to wait over a half an hour for someone to unlock the glass to get a product out! So be prepared to wait for a long time to get your items that are locked up! What do you think they have insurance for theft? Just a small percentage of people Steal merchandise but everybody else has to suffer because of it! Shame on you Walmart retreating honest people like criminals!

Its a nice place to go, the the help is limited, but their security, and LPS take it a little too far, they follow you up and down the store, and stare at you between the aisles like your stealing, or youve come there to still, that alone is more embarrassing then anything I have ever seen in Modesto tip try to stop labeling customers based on race and color... Yours truly we the people.

Walmart Grocery Pickup and Delivery is terrible. The only thing good is the pricing. The wrong items were delivered one time and two other times the wait at the pick up spot was over an hour.

Extremely crowded compared to most Wal-Marts I have been to in the past, while also being an extremely small store. A good deal of their shelves or racks in every department were completely bare and in lack of stock, and the whole store looks overrun.Think how most grocery stores looked at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thats what this store looked like when I went, lol.

I have been here a thousand times and it is never the same. They are nice and most the time have good customer service, but they should train all thier employees on keeping thier kind attitudes or teach them to use them. I have run into a couple rude employees, but I must not blame Walmart for an individuals attitude. It is mostly the parents fault if they are disrespect and rude. Walmart is doing thier best

Was able to find somethings i came for. Workers on the floor stocking the shelf were getting in the way, were rude, swearing with each other and not very helpful. The check out lines were really long. Only 3 lines open. Checkers over worked. All in all if the store doesnt change they will lose alot of customers. I would rather shop anywhere else.

Produce is way higher here than at WinCo or food maxx lines are often long. Later in the afternoon basic items may be out of stock.

Prices posted are not comes up on the register and you get a Hassel to get it corrected.

Im not a big fan of Walmart, just being honest. But they do have some serious deals. Also, had a really good experience yesterday with the pick up for online Black Friday purchasing. The 2 employees that helped us were great!

All the clothes and groceries and items that they have at the store are very nice. The only thing I dont like is the limited parking spaces and I feel too cramped in this little Supercenter but other than that a very nice store to shop at except for the customer service. Although I do shop towards the evening time perhaps its the evening employees whereas good morning employee might feel more exuberant so, then the evening shift. I have yet to find this out for myself but when I do Ill post another comment.

I ordered funeral announcements from walmart.com to be delivered to this walmart. After 4 days of my pictures being past the latest arrival and showing store processing I attempted to call to check. I was hung up on 3 times in a row, and then placed on hold for 30 minutes and hung up on again.I then attempted to contact support, who told me this is a KNOWN ISSUE with the stores not alerting customers when their items are available to pick up. He says theres also a known issue with them not answering phones, but that hed be happy to attempt a call himself. After he too was ignored, they said the only alternative is to refund my order. Now I will be paying triple elsewhere to get a rush printing of my fathers announcements.How can you run a business like this? Absolute garbage location.
