My husband and I had a pleasant and wonderful time at this location! Our experience with the optician, Maria, was above and beyond. We want to express our thank you to Maria for being patient as we tried on many frames to find the ones we liked. She was awesome and super friendly. One of the most welcoming environments I’ve ever walked into for the eye doctor! Very polite and friendly staff. Super easy to book an appointment by phone or online. I cannot remember her name, but the assistant who checked me in and ran some tests was very friendly, reassuring, and explained things clearly. Dr. Wong was polite and professional! She also noticed a slight concern that no other eye doctor has mentioned, as well as referred me to get the specialized help I need. To top off the visit Maria and Karen were amazing in getting me the contacts I came in for! Maria was especially kind and patient. She talked me through my confusion without ever expressing frustration and was just so nice. In addition, Karen who is a manager was so helpful and honestly great. She gave me an outstanding deal on a year supply of contacts. I really appreciate how she went out of her way to help me out. As a college student, Karen and Eyeglass World are lifesavers. Thanks again for the great experience, and I’ll definitely be returning!

I came in on a Saturday the day of a wedding where my daughter was the flower girl and she had lost a screw for her glasses. Sam was able to find the right screw and had them fixed within 5 min and had us on our way to the wedding on time!!!!! If I could give more stars I would.

Went there as a first time customer this week as was so happy I did. The service was great Samantha help me and she was really nice and just a cool person. She fixed a pair of glasses that I sat on that was purchased at Wally World I appreciated that so much because I need them while I wait for my new ones. The selection is great. Highly recommend if youre looking for a place with great deals and even better service! They had an amazing special on frames buy one get one AND it included designer frames. Stephanie helped us with the frames and even worked her magic to have our glasses the same day! My brother needed them ASAP for a driving test so we were very appreciative. I have been to this location and received excellent support/service from a very knowledgeable person named Karen, she asked me what type of frames I was looking for and walked around a rack of mens eyewear and and returned with the perfect pair I would have chosen, she treated me with kindness and 5 star professionalism thank you Karen I will gladly be back.

Had problems right away went back to Eyeglass World the gal at the front desk asked me what was wrong and I explained that the prescription must be wrong because at first I thought because they were new my eyes had to adapt. Nope it was not my eyes it was the glasses. She took the glasses looked at them said theres nothing wrong with them and handed them back to me and walked away. Even with good insurance I paid $300.00 out of pocket and never be able to use them. I would never recommend this place.

Friendly, clean, great customer service and so much more. My wife and I have not been to see the eye doctor in some time so it took us over and hour to select the frames we wanted. Karen was super attentive always checking on us but not getting irritated that we took so long. Once we finally sat down she thoroughly explained our options. We are newbies and hadnt had glasses before so there was a lot of explaining :) After finalizing everything and laughing through the whole process, we walked out of there feeling like Karen was our new friend. Came in for an eye exam to get a new prescription and to purchase new glasses. Everyone was very friendly! Rubin helped us with all our questions and explained all my choices very thoroughly. I take long to make decisions especially when it comes to glasses and not once did I feel rushed, which is so appreciated! The store itself was very clean and sanitary. Its nice to know that they take covid precautions seriously. I highly recommend Rubin and this eye glass world location! 😊 👓

So for starters lemme say I don’t usually leave reviews. But I have to give two big thumbs up to one of the managers here! My dad had an appointment at 10:30 and Karen happened to be getting there at the same time to work. She walked us to the back asking questions as we went and let us to know to ask her if we needed anything. When we finished the exam she gave my dad a “tour” and walked us through all his options. When we sat down she went over everything his insurance covered and didn’t cover and made sure he knew the difference and understood thoroughly everything he was getting. She even explained his prescription and made sure he knew what it meant. She’s definitely an asset because we noticed the other girl who was working kept asking her for help and she never stopped smiling, and helped with what she could while making sure we weren’t left unattended. We will definitely be recommending this place to everyone we know! AND she got his glasses out next day! Thank you Karen!!

Where do I begin... first of all, their $78 for two pair deal is only for jenky type glasses. The eye doctor is rude as hell & condescending. The eye doc told me I needed 2 pair of glasses for reading & everyday. By the time I was done, I paid well over $400 and my husband paid almost $300 for 1 pair. THIS IS WITH INSURANCE covering $175!! Once we got our glasses, the prescriptions are totally off, which they wont fix. Stating this is the prescriptions. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! Id give zero stars if I could.

I just want to say how amazing this place is. I live about 2 hours away out of Modesto in a rural area so the drive to any city let alone Modesto takes an hour or longer. I drove all the way there only to find out they dont take my insurance(it was my fault, I didnt think to ask and was in a hurry when I made the appointment). The staff there is absolutely phenomenal, helped me to find a payment option that worked for me not to mention their prices are really affordable and I walked out with two pairs of glasses shortly after I arrived. I believe the managers name is Rueben ( hopefully I spelled that right ) but I am grateful to everyone there who helped me today.I would highly recommend them.

I purchased my 2 eyeglasses here. At first, they are nice while assisting you then after I paid almost $700 when I got my eyeglasses and I have questions their lazy to entertain me. And I’m trying to get the original lens of the one that I got and they said they don’t have it anymore but I got the other one. I’m not going back here anymore trying to get a contact lens but no not anymore.

Very great customer service! All the employees were very friendly. Brandon was extremely helpful and able to work with me to get me my new glasses.update: glasses not ready when they said they would be. They waited to called me until 10minutes before they told me to be there to let me know they wouldnt be ready. picked them up and having spend $250 on some new glasses they cant even give one cleaning cloth for my glasses.

Eyeglass World with Karen & Laisha were great with my glasses. Just overall a great experience. I was able to schedule my exam online. They took my insurance, Eyemed. The eye doc and the assistant were efficient. I called in my insurance ahead of time so it helped to decrease paperwork I had to fill out. My exam was done real quick. When it came to picking out glasses, the ladies were maximizing my insurance and really working with my prescription. My prescription makes my lenses thick and heavy so they were able to make them lighter and thinner. They were working together as a team to ensure the lenses were right. They got me a great deal for my exam, my glasses and my contacts. Contacts getting shipped to the house. Thank you Karen and Laisha. Looking forward to my new purple glasses!

Great customer experience, knowledgable staff, and quality service! I lived in the Bay Area and drove 1.5 hr here to get my glasses done as I needed on the same day! Saved $400 in lenses compared to what I was quoted as the other place, and got them done here in less than 2 hours as lab is available on site. I have worn the strongest readers for so many years now, far beyond my ability to see up close when sewing, so Id put 2 readers on!! I have put off getting prescription glasses though I had an exam finally almost a year and a half ago. The reason I waited so long is cost and being unsure what would be best for me : a few pair of single lenses (Near, Far and Computer), bifocals, or progressives. I am still unsure but I did choose the progressives in both clear and polarized and got them a couple days ago. There are things that work for me about the two pair I got and things that dont. I am trying them out . I do appreciate that I have 30 days from date of ordering to return/exchange them . It may be that bifocals or a few pair of single vision may work better for me. I am 65 and since this is my first experience actually getting prescription lenses, I have discovered that I will never be satisfied with just readers again as a result of wearing the new prescription lenses. I do love the polarized lenses and since I am sensitive to light, I find even wearing them under fluorescent lights inside stores is much better for my eyes.I had very good customer service from RJ and Gina plus one other young woman whose name I do not remember. I did find a frame I love and that also has been a stumbling block for me in the entire process of finally getting prescription lenses. During the few years I have been putting off my decision I have visited a couple eyeglass places, toying with the ides of taking the plunge, and overall feel more comfortable going to Eyeglass World because of overall experience : customer service, choice of frames, and being educated about what choices I have. I came in I think on October 22. I haven’t had glasses for about 6 years. I was a walk in, couldn’t be more than 20 min I was already taking tests to see how strong of prescription I needed. Maralyn was super friendly. Got a call November 1 to pick up my two glasses. Had a gentleman name Allen that made sure my glasses fit properly, and the sweetest pretty gal by the name of Gina gave our daughter glasses for free!!! She popped the lens out because she kept wanting to try glasses on. They were caring as they were talented, got us in and out no problem I highly recommend this facility to anyone in needs for eye care.

I loved everything about this place. The girls there are so nice, the doctor was great, and the price was great. The prescription they gave me was perfect. Ive never before been able to get glasses that actually worked. But I can see now and I couldnt be happier. Great place!!!!

The staff is helpful, and they have a decent selection of frames, but I would not recommend this place for more than basic glasses. Although my order explicitly requested beveled lenses, they came back unbeveled and nobody checked until I did. They also messed up another set of glasses, giving me the wrong frames and prescription which I had to figure out when I put them on and couldnt read with them. The lack of attention to detail and double-checking, for me, puts them in the basic eyeglass category.

I went in not sure what to expect. Brandon and Adelina were amazing !!! She was very patient with me while picking out frames and was honest about what looked good and not so good lol ! Brandon explained lenses and pros and cons of each in a way I could understand. The doctor and the sweet girl working in back were great ! The girl (wish I had got her name )was fun and explained what each test did and the doctor was informative. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for glasses !! You can’t go wrong with Adelina or Brandon helping you !!

I called the place before I started driving there (1 hour drive) to see if they could take my son, my husband and I for an eye exam, whoever I talked to on the phone said yes. When I arrived, the lady was rude and pretty much called me a liar saying she was standing next to the person who answered my call earlier and she did not say that we could come in today. My family and I left in shock. Luckily I was able to Google a place near by called Stanton Optical and they were kind enough to give us the eye exam right away and we were able to order new frames there too. Eyeglass World is definitely very unprofessional for making us drive for one hour and then turn us down.

The dr was so nice answered all my questions the drs assistant brandy and the assistant manager Stephanie were beyond sweet. Helped me find the best shades every. Since we were out if town, he coordinated with the out of town store to make that happen. RJ, I appreciate your attention to improve your customers experience.My 1 star experience.I went to have my nose pieces adjusted on my glasses. Standing in the doorway, RJ bent them out, with his fingers, putting finger prints all over them. Didnt even look to see how they sat on face.He said try this. If its still tight, come back. Didnt offer to clean them. PS they werent busy. Such sad customer service.

Just wanted to take a minute to give praise where praise is due. I came here the day before yesterday after having an awful experience at Stanton optical. I called in a told the gentleman what my experience was over there and at that point I was in tears. He had empathy for me and that was amazing. Most people would have thought I was a crazy lady and an emotional wreck and wrote me off lol contrary to popular belief; Optical is a part of the medical feild and the people working in that feild should show empathy and comfort to patients. I am just blown away by the care I received here. I can not remember the names of the people but that honestly doesnt matter because theyre all great.Thank you EyeGlass World!! You guys rock!

Wednesday the 20th my husband had an appointment at 10 a.m.My husband is disabled has no use of his legs so any outing is very difficult. The doctor had an emergency so another doctor was called in from Sacramento and wouldnt be arriving til noon. I was notified at 8:45 but neglected to check my phone. The staff was very apologetic and proceeded to get all the paperwork and the pre testing done for us including picking out the eyeglass frames.We went home, returning at noon.Seen the doctor within 20 minutes, completing the exam. The doctor was thorough and explained every step of the exam.Although the glasses would be ready that day, decided not to wait but to return the next day.Claudia greeted me when I entered the store, explaining the situation, she went above and beyond her normal job detail by coming out to the car and fitting my husband with his glasses. His new glasses fit perfectly. Taking advantage of the stores promo deal they did not try to push any options on us, which I appreciate.Claudia, along with all the other staff from the previous day were professional, friendly and very accommodating.As far as Im concerned, all are definitely a benefit to the company. I WASTED 2 1/2 HOURS HERE. DONT BOTHER. besides they get your money on ALL the other items that are needed for your glasses. higher mark up than Walmart.I had an appt . for eye exam and glasses. I ask if I could get glasses same day (as in today). I was told yes, no problem. I told eye DR. I wanted single vision lenses (no bifocals). After exam, I had to wait 15 to 20 minutes to be waited on. Walk ins were being waited on.Staff person not interested showing me glasses, paperwork more important. Eye Dr wrote wrong prescription for bifocals, not single vision.Then she check to see if lenses were in stock, because I needed them today. The employee who makes them, decided to leave at 3 pm. I guest employees set their own hours. I WASTED MY TIME DRIVING TO THIS PLACE (90 mins round trip). And hour not being waited on and eye exam, with a wrong prescription. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I had gone a couple of weeks before and I took pictures of the glasses I wanted and they were $199.95. The girl Veronica set them at side and when I went a week later she told me they were $220. Before I took my exam I told them I wanted to know my Benefits for my glasses and the lady told me she couldn’t give them to me when I had gone to other offices and they can tell you especially after getting off the phone from getting a break down of benefits. I know how Insurances work I myself work in a dental office were we have to check benefits for patients. They didn’t want to tell me my benefits since at their office my Insurance’s only paids $50 and other offices I been to they paid up to $200 on eyeglass. Do not go here they will just take your money.
