My experience at Ryan Chevrolet what not what I expected at all. I have stayed away from dealerships for the past two decades and bought vehicles from used car outlets, auctions and even friends directly because I did not believe that a dealership would give me the upfront answers I need when I do a business transaction of this magnitude. Toby Liner changed my concept about even considering a dealership when I met him three years ago. He never pressured me over that time or talked to me about what he did for a living when we got together because our wives were friends. Instead, he got to know me as a person new to this state and he took account of what I needed when I finally went into Ryan Chevrolet last week. It was great to be able to get the truck I needed when very few vehicles were even available. I was not rushed nor misled about anything Ryan Chevrolet promised through him, and I have to say I am extremely pleased with the truck and payment plan I have walked away with.

I had to order a truck due to current situations and them being scarce as many know. The process understandably took a little while I had already made the order list to the specs I wanted and was ready to wait. I’d check in weekly or biweekly for any update just to see where it was at my reasoning for that was from my dad telling me about his friend that ordered one and it was sold from underneath him so I was a little nervous after he told which was after I ordered through them. I had doubt that would happen but still wanted to be safe. The order list I gave them was emailed and printed off before any down payment was made and I was happy with our agreement. Somewhere between Salazar and Collins the list was either not transferred or just a lack of communication I don’t know nor do I know I was transferred to a different salesman. When the vehicle finally came in the amount that wasn’t on the truck that I had on a sheet was a bit ridiculous. Now I understand that resources for certain parts and pieces are scarce but there was ZERO information of the parts that weren’t ordered or couldn’t be ordered. And the accessories ordered two went in the same place my bad on not knowing where those accessories went but they were ordered even though they wouldn’t fit together again no one told me that. I chose one of the accessories and the other was refunded promptly. At that point I was just ready to have my new truck and leave especially when I have to now order an accessory so the other I wanted mounted can be mounted. From my personal sales experience it was shocking the lack of knowledge of the products available and lack of communication from salesman to customer. And when asked of me if I wanted the down payment I placed for the order to be put toward the order of the truck and I said yes I was told it was put towards it. When the day came to purchase the vehicle, not leave with it because the accessories that were to be ready and mounted weren’t, I was told they forgot to put the down payment towards the final purchase and asked if I just wanted a refund of the down payment and I agreed and signed to have the refund. After I picked up my new truck they still hadn’t given the refund. Nearly a month went by and still no refund of the down payment. I texted my salesman and asked where it was and suddenly the refund was available and would be sent by mail. I had already been refunded for an accessory that was incompatible instead of sending the full amount of the down payment they sent the difference from the down payment and refunded accessory and instead of complying with the issue at hand the salesman wanted to argue instead. Irritated I just called the finance manager and explained the dilemma he was very cordial over the phone and the issue was solved in a few minutes. I expect McDonald’s to mess up and order and not say anything that’s maybe ten dollars but a car dealership that’s thousands of dollars I expect some kind of information besides it’s ordered it’s coming and it’s here. I will never buy from Ryan again.

Had a scheduled appointment for 8am for oil change and update for recall on infotainment system at cold temps the screen would turn black. Was told by Garret that it would be after 2 o’clock they would be finished with my vehicle. Called at 330 for him to tell me that the mechanic has it on the rack and getting ready for the update. Called around little after 4 and he told me that it’ll be done in about 10 to 15 minutes to head on up here and it should be done by the time we get there. I pull up at 420 and meet Garrett. He tells me it’ll be another 25 to 30 minutes and that the mechanic hasn’t even started doing the update! How is this even acceptable?! We discussed words on how He needed to do better about being honest and not lie to customers. I’m not gonna be back. Horrible service
I’m giving them 0 stars but this makes me give them 1. This is the worst experience I have ever had. They have had my car for eight weeks and every week when myself or insurance company call Something new is wrong with the car. The whole company needs to be addressed as a whole for the horrible customer service. I just want my car back. I’m sure that they will be expecting their money from me although I’ve had no car for eight weeks and having to pay a car note for two months without having a car.
Loved the website, was easy to use and set up an appointment, gave step by step instructions on what to do when dropping off my car. Everyone was friendly and courteous they explained the diagnostic in detail and asolution. They got my car in and out in no time. I will definitely be returning

The service department receives a four star rating, however the body shop received only a one star rating only because there wasnt a lower rating. Service department called when they got my truck from body shop and let me know about the recall service they were to do. They got truck in and out in the time that I was given, not like body shop that had my truck from May 31 till June 22 to do minor repairs

Let me start with the fact that I have bought numerous vehicles starting back in 1979. I have brought my children and wife to buy both Honda and Chevrolet cars. My new vehicle started giving a code that the engine needed servicing . I called the repair office and told them what was going on. I told them I would be in town( I own a business that is out of town) the next day and could I drop it off and get a loaner vehicle. I was told that it was not possible to drop it off and that they no longer had loaner vehicles.I then called my salesman Jeff Bond and told him of the situation. He said that he would take care of it. He got me a loaner car. I have had other service problems in the past and havent said anything. I will no longer buy or recommend your business.
OK what was in the water. I have never been in a business where I was treated that I was the most important customer in the world. Allison was so personable. Levi was a cautious driver. My issue was resolved and my truck drives like new. To the G.M whatever you doing keep up the good work you have a great staff and running a smooth establishment.

My only complaint is that Ryan no longer has a shuttle and I was not informed until I had dropped off my Tahoe. This should have been communicated to me on original phone call or in one of the texts

My car was sounding like it was about to take flight with the propeller nosies it was making. I moved away from Monroe but returned due to Hurricane Ida temporarily. I was hesitant to bring it to Ryan Chevrolet because I’ve had a HANDFUL of poor experiences with the people behind the counters (at the time a few years ago) on the Certified Service side. I always felt my patronage didn’t matter much. THANK THE LORD they have a new squad who are way more attentive and friendly! Annie helped me and she was the kindest! She got me with Darrell who verified my suspicions and they got me fixed up quickly (like way faster than I expected)! She and the people who actually fixed my car helped me focus my concerns on recovering from the storm than stressing over my car. From the woman who set my appointment (I forgot her name but I know she was black lol), to Annie, to Darrell, to Christopher… THANK YOUUUU!

Called on 6/30 and got a 7/1 7:30am appointment to change my oil, fuel filter and rotation on my tires. Got there at 7:45, Garrett came outside to check me in. He asked what they would be doing to my truck and I told him. He said they did not have me down for an oil change but that they could go ahead and do it. He said it was supposed to be ready at 11. They called at 11:45 and said my truck was ready. I came to get it, paid for it, and drove off. I saw where my fuel filter said it was at 47 percent. I went back to Ryan, Garrett came out to my truck to reset the fuel filter percentage to 100%. He tried and it would only go back to 47%. He said he didn’t know what was wrong and that it might need a sensor change. I ask him what kind of filter he used. He said it was a Chevrolet filter and it should read 100%. I asked him what I was supposed to do. He said I needed to write down the mileage and bring it back when 15000 miles had expired. I am going out of town tomorrow and had to get my truck but that’s not a good answer after you spend 60,000 dollars

This customer service advisor Aletha Wall is a disgrace to the Chevy name. This group of people are habitual liers. They consistently tell lies after they have been caught in them. They are not professional at all. If I was a new customer go to Jim Taylor and get you a Chevy product. The will evade question try to sell items that you don’t need but actually call themselves service advisors. Charged me 150 and did nothing but lie. I would like to go in further detail. I was scheduled to bring my vehicle at 8:30 9/3/21 for appt. The advisor told me they would let me know the status of the car. The entire day goes by no call I took it upon myself to give them a call. The advisor without no hesitation tells me that they would look at it the next day and give me call. The second day goes by still no call I call them to found that she is on vacation and would not be until Tuesday morning ( Labor Day was that Monday) so at this point my vehicle is there for 4 days. Early Tuesday morning I still hv no info on car I go up there and they tells me it needs a new radio which cost 900.00 plus I need a in cabin filter an engine filter. I know for a fact that a scam I personally changed them myself. This also further more let me knew that check it because my car need in-depth removal of the dash to check the radio.I knew I was working with scam artist and I insist I pay them a 150 dollars for a BOLD FACE LIE.
I cannot begin to explain how bad the experience was. Ryan Chevrolet had my 2020 Chevrolet 2500 HD for over 45 days and did not correct any problem I had it there for. They lost my truck for two weeks. They also said they could not duplicate any of the problems. Took a technician for a test drive and it did one of the problems driving out the parking lot. They fill you full of lines because it appears they either do not have the training or knowledge to repair the problems. The truck was driven a total of 14 miles in 45 days. I would not suggest bringing your vehicle here.
Horrible service. Has scheduled maintenance on my car the first appt the kept it for 3 days and didnt do anything to it. Second time still took 2 days for a simple one hour job. They didnt touch it the first day then finally after I dont know how many calls they started on it around 2 the next day. They wont return Calls. I had to call and call then get put on hold for ten minutes or more or transferred to 3 different people everytime. When my car was finally fixed the price was about $300 more than I was told. Then while in the office waiting on them to talk to the manager about the price all you hear is the other employees complaining about customers. Maybe if you took care of the customer to begin with you wouldnt have a reason to complain about them. I will NEVER go back. Ever. The service is terrible and the prices are ridiculous. Beware.

To start with my vehicle was in the service department at Ryan for almost 3 weeks. They (Ryan Chev.) were wanting to charge over $300 for a battery replacement. I had it tested independently and the battery was good. Ryan was unable to provide the failed test paperwork. The first time I picked the truck up a couple weeks later the check engine light was still on. They had never test driven the vehicle after repairs were made. I had to make arrangements for another vehicle to drive. The service manager never acknowledged accountability only excuses. I can’t do or recommend future business with any company that conducts and accepts this type of service.
Absolutely terrible experience and terrible service. If you need anything fixed on your vehicle, you are better off watching a YouTube video and doing it yourself.
Great people to deal with. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Josh Washington and Dave McClelland (not as easy to spell as Washington) both listened and worked hard to get me what I wanted. Definitely recommend these guys and Ryan’s.
It was disheartening to call and have to wait a week and a half for an appointment; however I did wait because I wanted the issues with my brand new vehicle to be taken care of by an expert at the dealership. I dropped off my vehicle for my 8am appointment and heard nothing by 5pm. I had to call to get an update. They were still trying to figure out the issue. On day two I had to call again for an update. They said they couldn’t find the problem and I sent a video so they could see. I was told the sizzle sound was normal on my new vehicle. Although I had never heard this sound after having it for 5 months. My vehicle was kept again to figure it out and work on recalls that I didn’t know about. On day three without my vehicle I was pretty upset! I had to call AGAIN! Never did a service person call me. At this point I just wanted my car, but now they were fixing the recalls on day three. I finally got back my car but I still don’t know if the issue was even fixed. Very disappointed with the service. Common courtesy would be to call at the end of the day if you need to keep the vehicle.

Austin was a great Sales Representative for the dealership. I didnt feel pushed, at all. I asked questions; he listened, and he answered, if he could. I would recommend that my friends contact Austin, if he is available. In Finance & Insurance, Blaine was very easy-going. We went in knowing that we werent going to purchase an extended warranty at that time, however, he gently explained that he was required to review some details with us. He was very helpful.
Everyone was polite and professional. I was given a ride home and picked up when the car was done. Prices are high, but it is the dealership so I know I get genuine parts and mechanics who know how to fix the issues.

The first day I brought my car it sat all day and I was not informed until 4pm that they had not touched it. I was extremely frustrated...BUT..Alicia is a rockstar and told me she would take care of things the next day, first thing. And she did. I understand businesses get backed up and mistakes can be made. True customer service is how you recover. I will continue to use Ryan because of how they recovered.
Mrs.Jacqueline set my appointment for my oil change and she was just as polite and professional as anyone could possibly be!I was greeted on the service drive by the Assistant Manager Mrs.Annie upon arrival and she was an absolute peach! Speaking with her was like speaking to an old friend!My advisor was Cody and he took care of my oil change on my 2012 Nissan Maxima. It was done swiftly and honestly I couldnt beat the price with a stick. The tech that worked on my vehicle was Kevin and not only did he do my oil change but he also did a multi-point inspection and notified my advisor who informed me my tires were starting to have some wear to them. Mr.Cody did not pressure me into making a big purchase at that time but he did reassure me they were still safe to drive on and he showed me how to check the tread of my them myself so I could keep an eye on them for further damage.Over all my experience at Ryan Chevrolet was out standing. I will definitely be going back for any additional work that my vehicle may need, not only for the efficiency and professionalism of the establishment, but also because going there felt like being at home!10/10 will definitely recommend.

Pretty much the whole experience was disappointing and started with an airbag recall notice. I was given a service date then told that the service might result in damage that would have to be paid out of pocket. I was given a list of additional Recommended services that totaled about $1,500 and an expiration - date of course. When I went in for one or so of the services, at least one, more important, service was suggested / paid for. Finally on the 17 May 2021 visit I made the mistake of saying I would leave my 2009 Chevy truck and pick it up when my cell # was called. That mistake changed the time for taking the truck into the shop from the 0930 am arrival time to about 1200 Noon. After notification concerning the 12 Noon start time, we drove about 30 miles from Monroe LA to our home in Bastrop LA where my wife and I waited until about 1600 PM, when I called the Service Center and was told the truck was ready. Lastly. I was given a complementary list of recommended services totaling about $1200 that included one of the services I had jut had done on 17May! From the recall notice to the 17 May 21 pick up the situation was more expensive/ time consuming & disorganized than I would ever have expected. I wound up feeling HUSTLED.

First off I’d like to thank Jeff and Blaine both! I have to admit I was not looking forward to dealing with salesman or any of the stigma that comes with car shopping. Then I met Jeff. From the beginning, he asked how can I help, what are your needs, what’s practical, and he didn’t force a sale. He wasn’t a robot doctored up in hair gel. He’s a very interesting guy who can seemingly relate to anyone, and not just a professional level, but the personal level as well. As I was sitting there I thought well this isn’t bad, then I asked Jeff if the same finance guy was still here from 10 years ago. He asked Blaine? I said yes! Well that made things even better, because Blaine is a great person as well. Yes, he is by the book, but he will go to bat for you and help you if he is able and if it’s reasonable. Miranda up front is a very nice, personal individual as well. They all tolerate the kids well, unlike some other places. I’m sure I am missing some people, but if you choose to shop with the Ryan team, I would suggest at least meeting these standout assets that their company has!

I brought my truck to have a recall fixed and they told me that there could possibly be minor damage to my vehicle and when I picked up my truck there was excessive damage done to my vehicle and they would not pay to have it repaired and did not report that there was damage done on there paperwork.

Salesman Jeff says the trucks go on the website as soon as they are invoiced from the factory, which must be a lie because the listed trucks all show to have a 1-10 miles on them. Dealers like this is why people hate buying vehicles.
