This place is so much better than our local eye place. They were super patient and friendly with the kids, which is amazing. The oldest never says much, but she was stoked that the staff and doctor was so friendly to her. They arent pushy, but give you the available options with cost and leave the info with you so you can make your decision in your own time. Kudos to Kristen and Alicia, who went above and beyond to make sure the girls were happy with their choices!

I guess my expectations were too high. I have a prescription - all I needed was to pick out frames, get measured and pay for them. After 45 minutes, the 2 people that were picking out frames were still not even close to making a decision - for one the cost was way more than she expected so it was back to the drawing board; for the other, she couldnt make up her mind which frame was better looking and neither could the tech - she like them all the same. I walked around looking and trying to remember where the 4 frames I wanted to look at were and noticed another person had arrived. I decided that I had better get an appointment. I went home, called and was told I didnt need an appointment; I told the girl about what just happened and she said well we are short staffed and very busy...WHICH IS WHY I SHOULD GET AN APPOINTMENT - DONT YOU THINK? I have 6 family members that go here. Perhaps not any more. BTW, I had to check one star to be able to post this.

Very satisfied with my level of care and service. Although the lab took longer than expected to complete my order, Alicia, at the Monroe location, kept me up-to-date as to their progress. Thank you!!

I can not say enough about the staff! Totally awesome experience from the minute you walk in the door! Made me feel like I was hanging out with all my friends! They have financing through their store that was seconds to apply and easy payments to fit my budget!! Many frames of every style. Extremely happy with everything!!

This OptimEyes location consistently offers top of the line care and customer service, and even managed to up their game over the past year to ensure the health and safety of visitors and staff. While I do not enjoy dealing with the Henry Ford call center, the in-office staff at Monroe goes the distance to make each visit a good experience and they even detail all of your options, which is something I appreciate.

I have been a patient at this location for years! One of the main reasons for my continued business is the office manager. Her knowledge and excellent customer service is complimentary to the knowledge and friendly demeanor of the staff. Every time I leave, I am beyond satisfied with my care and assistance with the selection of my new glasses and contacts. The staff is always very helpful when adjusting my new frames and offer to assist further if necessary. I will continue to return here and just want to thank the staff and manager for their continued work!

Quite the amazing staff! I am blind as a bat but man do I feel like I have Cadillac eyes. A little on the pricey side but well worth the money! A lot of love in a small town.

The optometrist where I normally go didnt have any appointments until the end of February so I thought this was a good time to try another office. Besides, the other office made me feel like I was an irritation. not a customer.Thankfully that was not the case with this office. From the moment I was met at the door until I walked out I was made to feel I was important and my needs mattered. I dont ask for much but good customer service is important to me, especially if Im dropping some big cash.I saw Dr. Mekhayel who was knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. Every person in the office was great to work with. I found my new Optometrist.

I haven’t been to an optometrist in 25 years. My visit was easy and quick. The staff were courteous and professional. It was a great experience.

I was unhappy with the results of the fitting while being assisted by the office manager. When speaking of my concerns, she was unwilling and standoffish. Repeating my concerns and insisted that she reattempt the fitting. After a second try she was no longer helpful, stating that was as good as it was going to get. My initial consultation was with a technician and she was absolutely lovely. She immediately helped us find a pair that we loved. I even let her upsell me to the $199 kids lenses, which is not an easy thing to do. Spending over $400 I expect to at least be satisfied, but the office manager was willing to let me leave knowing I was unhappy with the results.I called the Taylor location for further assistance, they were willing to help. I was greeted in a friendly manner and when the technician saw my concerns he agreed that more fitting was in order. He noticed the imperfections I was speaking of and helped close the gap, making the leg of the frames more taught. He noted that when prescriptions vary drastically its important for them to sit accurately on his face.Without the assistance of the Taylor location I would be an unsatisfied customer. Monroe location office manager would have let my child had a depth perception issue. Customer service and fitting knowledge has earned Monroe 2 starts.

I just had an appointment with them last week. I was amazed at such a through exam I received. The technician and Optometrist was professional and kind. The ladies that assist you with picking and ordering glasses was awesome. They were knowledgeable and very helpful. I would definitely recommend them!

I had a great experience!! I was in and out very fast even with all the extra precautions they are taking due to COVID. Everyone working was genuinely nice and very knowledgeable. I really love my new glasses and appreciate how quick the process was to get them!

We love this office! Both of the doctors are professional, knowledgeable, and nice. The office staff are all very friendly and often remember patients. I love that there are so many options for glasses. Their protection program is a must for kids (and some adults prone to dropping: ) (me)). I cant recommend them enough.

The Monroe location of Henry Ford’s Optimeyes is a fantastic place to go for all your vision needs! I went in and received my first eye exam since age 12 and they made the process incredibly easy. I ended up having a slight astigmatism in both eyes and needed to get glasses. All staff members I interacted with with incredibly friendly and helpful, as this was my first time needing glasses. 5/5 stars!

My daughter and I both go here for our eye care needs. Upon arrival, you are greeted with a friendly staff member. Unlike most offices, you are not handed a small book to complete before being seen. Our wait time was minimal. The staff member who brings you back had a great attitude, explained everything thoroughly, made my daughter comfortable rather than afraid and spoke with her directly which we appreciated, and was rather quick but not rushed. The doctor was kind and friendly. She didn’t have us wait for long at all. After finding out glasses were needed, they took us to where the glasses were and showed us which ones were covered by the insurance and helped with finding which ones looked best with her face. Check out was quick and glasses arrived within a week. I have nothing but great things to say. It is a kind, professional, efficient office

Always excellent service. Wish I wouldve gone sooner. Easy to make appointments with flexible scheduling. Then on the day of my appointment I called to see if they could get me in early since I got off work early and they were able to. The cute and friendly lady that helped me pick and fit my frames was awesome. Even the doctor was very nice and walked through each step. I felt at home and welcomed and even when I went back days later to have my glasses readjusted she was there and took care of me in seconds. Keep up the great work! Thanks again.

I have been going to Henry Ford Optimeyes since they have opened. I absolutely love the staff there. Alicia is always so very helpful and honest on whether glasses look good on your face or not! I love an honest staff. They make you feel like family! I look for such a welcoming, honest staff when it comes to my eyes and they accomplish it all for you, all while in a family atmosphere!

Everyone who works there is extremely pleasant. The wait for my exam was no longer than 10 minutes, I really feel like the eye exam was thorough, the doctor clearly answered all questions I had AND they had cute frames that my insurance covered! Very satisfied with my experience!

Traci was rude, disrespectful, and held a prior authorization on a missed appointment when my diabetic son was sick. We went to svs and had to fight tooth and nail to get the prior auth off. Call corporate ti make a greivence with district manager steve m and he refused to make a greivence for me and told me he was going to be fair. Huh? I thought j was the customer. I felt used, unheard, and taken advantage of.

Second pair of glasses that developed small cracks around the edge of lenses. Contacted Henry Ford and asked to buy replacement glasses even though the cracks appear to be a manufacturing defect. They said since my Rx was from 2017 they would not let me order new glasses without a new RX. I have been going to U of M Kellogg eye center and my Rx has not changed. Made two requested then asked to have my correspondence forwarded to a supervisor. Never heard back. I have been using OptimEyes for years; but they lost me. I will quit making referrals to OptinEyes.

Both my girls were, seen, examened and, choose their frames, came back today to pick them up, they love them, the staff is always prompt and professional, also helpful . Office and restroom are so very clean. Definitely our favorite place .

Im very hard to impress and just let me say I was very happy with the service.

Great and thorough eye exam. My only complaint is they are too worried about upselling you every add on they have.If your not careful they will turn a $100 pair of eye glasses into a $300 pair with coatings, transitions and insurance, even when you tell them you dont want any extras they still push them.

I struggled for the last 2-3 years finding contacts that worked for me. Dr. Balderas went the extra mile and found out that I was allergic to the silicon most contact lenses are made of. He found a brand that was made from a hydrogel material that worked great for me and stays in my eyes 8+ hours a day without any irritation. I would recommend Henry Ford Optimeyes to any of my friends or family. I am so happy to be able to wear my contacts again.

Doctor great.... picking out my glasses on the other hand, thumbs down. SVS down the street has a nicer staff and a wider selection to choose from. Felt very rushed out the door..... only given 2 choices of frames!To be honest so far Im not satisfied with my glasses either. Ear piece is loose and they seem cheap compared to my old glasses from SVS.

I was worried when they told me they did not have a lab and it would take 5-7 days for my glasses to come in. But 2 days later they called and said they were already in! The staff was wonderful also!

My progressive lenses have numbers in two places, on each lense, and it creates blurry vision spits. My glasses were $400 AFTER INSURANCE. They said nothing they can do about it but make a different kind of lense. Really! More money. My husband bought his at SVS..... no visible markings on his progressives. Pd $200. My mom pd $100 through ZINI. no marks. Frustrating.
