This place fills a void of decent NJ Motorcycle gear stores with pure, unabridged awesomeness. Friendly, knowledgeable crew, good vibes and a well chosen selection of great gear. Was especially impressed by the lines from Saint, which I discovered for the first time here. Before now, I either had to shlep over to Brooklyn to try and buy decent, non-mainstream gear, or buy online and not have a chance to properly check out the gear for size and quality. Now I get to do that in NJ, support local business PLUS be part of a community of lovely people... Now, why is 5 stars the highest, dammit!

Fabulous local shop with the friendliest owners whom display a lot of pride in their business and it shows. They carry a very satisfying selection of gear and motorcycle accessories to keep your time occupied for a good while. Been here a good handful of times and usually leave with a handful of bags and a smile. Satisfied customer!

The coolest motorcycle shop in North Jersey. Sy and Co are extremely knowledgeable and have helped me pick out multiple parts and riding gear over the last few months. I found this great little shop from Instagram. They have all the high end, stylish and trendy gear. If you cant find what youre looking for, theyll order it for you. The customer service by the owner and his wife is excellent. You definitely get that one-on-one boutique feel when shopping here. I came into the shop just to buy some gear but youll find yourself coming back just to hang out and talk bikes. Thumbs up MRC!

Im from out of town and made it a point to give them a visit, the owner is incredibly nice and their stock is awesome. I have yet to leave without buying things and have always left wanting to buy more, 5/5 and will visit every time Im in Montclair.

Montclair Riding Co. is a diamond in the rough. There is no other shop like this in the area. They have cornered the market and have built a unique shop that provides apparel and riding equipment from the industries leaders such as Biltwell, Stylmartin, Red Wing and Rusty Butcher to name a few. They have also built up the community around them by organizing weekend rides and supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs. They provide a great shopping experience with their knowledge of motorcycles and the products they sell. This is a great shop for new and seasoned riders alike.

Love this place! The owner, Sy, has been extremely helpful with all of my gear needs and its always a pleasure chatting with him when Im in. Great selection of gear available as well as the opportunity to order items that you dont see in store. Sy is very passionate about riding and the community, actively organizing rides for fun as well as for good causes. The owner(Sy) was super friendly and informative. As a first-time rider he was more than pleased to offer some general advice to me and even went as far to give me his personal number so that I could run my first bike purchase by him if I wanted(as not to get ripped off/scammed on craigslist). Prices were competitive and they had a unique selection of gear and accessories. Looks like the store is expanding gradually with new gear too! Highly recommended and looking forward to making my next purchase there!

Good inventory of cool gear that your typical bike dealer usually does not carry. Best of all, their prices are very competitive usually even beating internet sites.

I was walking by the shop today after grabbing a bite on Bloomfield when I was greeted by Sy. He came out of his shop and invited us to explore the place. I felt a bit intimidated to go in seeing as though I don’t ride, but Sy made us feel right at home. The energy inside the shop reflects Sy’s welcoming spirit. Montclair Riding Co caries a wide selection of apparel, accessories, and bike-culture items. Whether you’re serious about riding or just looking to snag a unique piece of clothing — you should definitely check it out. The best news: they carry a dynamic blend of items ranging significantly in price. Typically you hear “boutique” and you wonder if you’re going to go for your lungs for a shirt — not here. I grabbed a Tee for $15! That said, they do have some more expensive items, but they are quality. Stoked to rep this brand and I’ll Definitely be returning.

So happy this place came up around here. Been riding for many years and usually have been ordering gear online,o nly thing that sucks about that is not being able to try things on. His prices are on point with pretty much all online outlets, plus you get to try things out and if youre not happy, Sy would help you out (so far havent had any issues with anything ive purchased). The selection of gear is good too, I like the nicer things when it comes to motorcycle gear and he has plenty of that. Overall, MRC is a super welcomed addition to the area, ive met a bunch of other people with similiar interests that I wouldnt have met otherwise through rides and just hanging out at the store.
