This store is like the Chinese Trader Joe’s.Evolved from a TCM( Traditional Chinese Medicine) stores to a full fledged grocery stores, this chain super market has everything that is Chinese here. From herbal medicines to traditional Chinese spices, you can find them all here. They even have a full time Chinese medicine doctor on duty here.As the Chinese New Year is just around the corner, we came here to shop for Chinese goods for the new year that we can only find here.To cook some of the traditional Chinese dishes, we need some unique items that only TS Emporium carries. For instance, we are planing to cook an authentic Cantonese clay pot dish with Cantonese sausage and preserved pork. With ingredients from other Chinese super markets where they offer only the generic brand that are most made in the US, we can not bring out truly Cantonese flavors in the dish. Here, we can buy the imported sausage and the preserved pork from Guangdong. We know the end result of our dish will be tasting awesome and authentic.In addition, We were able to get a few big red lanterns for our house entrance to add some festivities to the occasion. Despite the pandemic, I think this year’s Chinese New Year celebration will be special with all the goodies we got from TS Emporium.

This TSH is bigger than the old one (2 blocks away). It has more herbs and supplements than I expected when I got there. The price is certainly in the med-range. I like the herbal tea they are selling there while I can get almost everything I want.One down side is even the store is big, the rows/ columns are narrow. Under this COVID pandemic, it may not be a good choice to stay there for too long due to the crowds inside

This is the New T S Emporium, which is bigger than the old one that is only three blocks or so away. It carries a good collection of Chinese herbal medicine. Also sells a large variety of Chinese grocery. It is often packed because the display racks are put close to each others. Prices are competitive but there are only two main cashiers so it takes time to pay. Good place for quick convenient grocery shopping

Go there for teas, ginseng, dried shrimps, and dried scallops. They also have some interesting groceries from China or Asian fruits and veggies. Asian store layout. Love their teas so go there every so often to replenish.

I ordered several items from Tak Shing Hong because I thought it is a reputable merchant. When I received my items, one of them had a 3-4 inches cut on the bag of dried shrimp. I immediately contact Tak Shing Hong and sent them pictures as requested. However, their customer service rep keeps giving nonsensical excuses and speculations why there is a cut instead of trying to provide returns or any reasonable resolutions. They keep ignoring my responses and asking the same questions over and over again. Finally I had to file a dispute with the credit card company. Their behavior is akin to a small backwater grocery store with no concept of customer services.

Normally, I dont give review on the internet, but today, I have gone through an unforgettable experience in here. I lost my wallet when I was going shopping. First I thought that I just dropped it in my car (though I remembered I bought it with me), but I couldnt find it. I thought maybe I dropped it somewhere in the store. I was panicked . Then I told the security guard about my situation. He is a nice Spanish man. He immediately helped me find my wallet. Fortunately, we found it under a shelf. Maybe people kicked it in while moving. It was very lucky, and I really appreciate his help. Have to give a 5 ⭐️ 😁

I hadnt visited in years and they are still good! The resident acupuncturist did an excellent job of curing the fungus l had on my tongue. Only $15 for a consultation plus medical tea. They still have a good selection of supplies and l got big incense and a small table.

Fresh home grown veggies with no pesticides used (some still has little worms). Good prices on most items. We often come here for their fresh veggies. Very small selection and sold out fast. This place looks outdated. Parking is bad on weekends. They close so early. Their targeted customers are either homemaker or old retired people.

TSE has been here forever, mainly known for traditional Chinese medicine and herbs, they also sell a lot of everyday knickknacks, kinda like a slightly more expensive, much messier version of Daiso. The parking here is sufficient, the return policy here is 7 days only. If you are the adventurous type, there are lots of interesting items to be found here.

Good quality and price for Chinese dry herds and some snacks that are usually available in supermarkets in Hong Kong but not in US, e.g. McVities Digestive. Love to make a special trip there once a month. Electronic goods warranty is not up to same standard at American big stores, beware before purchase.

Free parking. Sometime hard to find parking. Shares the same parking lot with Bank of America. This place is big. I would whether go to the small one further down on Garvey.

For herbs to make soups it is okay to buy it here, just never buy any dietary supplements from this place the marks ups are crazy for they supposed oriental extracts that come in them might as well look online like on amazon for comparable stuff at cheaper prices. Also they do not allow refunds, They fooled my parents into buying supplements for 400 dollars while I could have purchased a comparable product on the internet for 20 dollars.Supplements are supplements because the clinical trials are inconclusive/obscure and so the FDA can only ensure the safety of the supplements and cannot ensure what the supplements claim they can do. If the supplements could do what they state they wouldnt be supplements and be considered medicine.

Great choice for herb, asian housewares and fresh vegetables..but inside shopping experience feels to jump into a street vendoor, wish they could upgrade a little.

I actually love coming here in the morning for the fresh vegetables. The quality is much better than what you get from regular Asian supermarkets. You can find a good variety of Chinese vegetables here (i.e. bitter melon, pak choi, baby Chinese broccoli, fresh water chestnut, mountain yam, etc). Besides vegetables, they carry grocery, herbal meds, appliances, nik-naks...

I came here to buy Citi Ginseng with my family, so the location was simply selling Ginseng products, so I didnt accompany me to visit and buy. Later, I was a little boring and wandered around, only to find that TS Square The shopping supermarket used to sell Chinese herbal medicines, but now it has expanded to be like a supermarket. I went from Las Vegas to Los Angeles on Mother’s Day. It’s almost 1 o’clock at 12 noon. Not many customers go shopping like crazy at 122 W Garvey Ave. Tak Shing Hong returns with loads of food. After dinner, I go back to Las Vegas and there is a traffic jam., I arrived home at 9:30 in the evening. When cleaning up the goods, I found that we did not buy various flavors of tortoise paste (not much money). It was already 10 in the evening. The store should be closed. The kettle I bought at night asked for a refund the next day after I went and told me that I ca n’t return it after use, only the warranty. 2/2/2018, I bought a box of wooden claws in Dechenghang (Rowland Heights) .The appearance is very beautiful, but it is greenish.After three days, the wooden claws become yellow. It was found that more than half was black mold, and then each wooden claw was wrapped with white paper. Each one had a black moldy head. Take this wooden claw to the service staff to show that the vegetables and fruits sold It cannot be returned or exchanged. The store manager dared not to come out while hiding inside.
