I had a maple latte and almond croissant, and both were delicious. I tasted the chocolate croissant and raspberry cream croissants and those were pretty good. Busy little place. Just what I needed for a quick pick me up in the morning.

Great little coffee shop on Montpelier with a nice selection of hot & iced coffee drinks. Smoothies & baked items are also on the menu. The staff is super friendly and always greeting everyone with a smile & upbeat attitude.

The Vermont State Capitol is such a wonderful visit. The tour guides are so friendly, and filled with so many tidbits and funny stories about Vermont. For a work place, theyre pretty open about it, and you can walk through most of the areas, with or without a tour group. The paintings on display are spectacular especially the one showing the Battle of Cedar Creek. A definite must stop on a tour of Montpelier .

One of the best coffee shops Ive been to with great breakfast foods to pick from and super friendly staff. They have a good business culture going here.

Stopped by Montpelier and grabbed a coffee while we were here. The cold brew was great, would definitely come back if we’re ever nearby.

Ham and Swiss with apple crisp was my favorite but the turkey club is a great choice as well.

Busy but cozy cafe in the heart of Montpelier. The baristas were friendly and the coffee was good! There are several coffee options and we got the Bob’s House Blend which is the flagship blend.

Love the lattes and food here..cant wait until we get back to normal with seating inside and out.

I went there this morning before school and got an iced mocha which was amazing!!! But I order a fresh start on a plain bagel and the receipt said fresh start but I got a bagel and cream cheese. I spent $5.50 and got a plain bagel with cream cheese. Beside that it’s a great place to go get breakfast!!!

Got a sandwich and an iced coffee, and earlier the day before my girlfriend got one of their breakfast sandwiches. Everything was fantastic and our food came out remarkably fast. We went there right at lunchtime on a Sunday and it wasnt too crowded. One dollar coffee refills as well. Easy 5 stars

Love this cafe! I go there at least once a week and all of their food is so good and their drink are also delicious. Theres a great view of the town out the windows and everything isnt too expensive. I meet my friends there to hang out or my family for meals. Its also a great place to study and do homework

Staff was friendly. Breakfast burrito was small but OK. Bagel w/cream cheese was like what you get at a hotels continental breakfast. Scone was really dry.

Drip coffee is better than their espresso, not sure if its the way they make their shots but they have lacked flavor and intensity for me. The staff is always very friendly though and the prices are good!

I absolutely love this cafe!!!! Im not a big coffee person but they make these delicious steamed milk. They have a whole list of flavors you can add. It looks out over the winooski river on one side and it has seating out front. Its a great place for people watching in the summer and fall!

Wotta delight. My first time in downtown Montpelier, and this place, a couple blocks from the capitol, with a delightful menu --- breakfast and lunch/sandwiches, all beautifully made --- and darned inexpensive too.Highly recommended.

Everytime I go here, I always get served substandard food and drinks, but sometimes its the only place open. Such is life.

A Montpelier cornerstone since I was a kid! The capitol citys finest cafe - with WiFi and a perfect amount of ambient noise for midday work meetings to be adequately private.

I enjoy their coffee but feel like the food portions are a little small for the price. Food is good but 7 bucks for an egg sandwich is steep. Compare to harvest market in stowe which is one of the most marked-up stores I know and an egg sandwich is only 5 there.

Latte to perfection. Blueberry bread pudding a bit dry and less like pudding, more like monkey bread.

I went for lunch with my husband and was pleasantly surprised by their food offerings, of course the hot drinks are awesome too. Good, local food and drinks in a friendly cafe atmosphere in downtown.

Got some coffee and sandwiches to take on our train ride to New York. Both were delicious and the crowd made for good local Vermont people watching. A bit of a long wait as they are quite popular, but worth it.

Great little coffee shop with free WiFi! A little bit pricey, but still a good place grab a drink and a snack and do some homework. Theres seating inside and outside.

My favorite coffeeshop EVER. Best breakfast sandwiches and lemonade Ive ever had. Service is wonderful. Once I ordered food from them and then got held up at work and wasnt able to pick it up for more than an hour, but they kept it warm for me and were so polite when I came to pick it up. They also make their own amazing coffee blends. The ambience is wonderful, I used to spend time here every day after high school. A+!

I havent actually been to the shop, just used their coffee beans. Their coffee is phenomenal!! I live out of state so have to have it shipped to me and I order almost every month. Their coffee is smooth, strong and doesnt give you heart burn. Best coffee ever!!

I called before 8:00am and asked to speak w/a Supervisor or Manager, and the woman on the phone laughed at me. She told me its too early for that. REALLY? I was calling because a patron picking up a catering order was double parked on the main road blocking traffic. The woman on the phone proceeded to tell me that they dont have parking, they dont own the parking lot behind them, and my favorite...WELCOME TO THE STATE OF VERMONT! Robert Watson...you should be ashamed of the behavior of your employees. The snotty lack of customer service will cause me NOT to enter your establishment - and certainly tell my friends, family, neighbors and co-workers, of the State of Vermont not to bother!

A crowded place on Saturday afternoon. The lattes were very good, and the veggie quiche was one of the best weve ever had. The egg was fluffy and flavorful. And the crust was amazingly flakey. Just delightful!

Their breakfast sandwich really hit the spot before heading out for a full day of x-country skiing. Great coffee. Enjoy the wall of Bernie paraphernalia and the company of the super friendly Vermonters while you wait for your food/drink.

Capitol Grounds feels like Montpeliers version of Starbucks. Its a nice little fresh coffee spot in Vermonts capital that offers a variety of coffee beverages as well as hot cider. You can also pick up several bakery items to hit the hunger spot. Free wifi is available, just ask the staff for the code. Seating is somewhat tight and most tables are often occupied by the remote worker types with their laptops. Staff is friendly and drinks and food is quality.

Coffee and drinks are outstanding, but Im always disappointed with the food. Bakery items are dry, and sometimes lacking flavor. Breakfast burrito I had was good, but was real small for calling it a burrito.

Our lox bagels were tasty and generous. Staff is friendly, prices are fair.
