I always receive excellent service at Cody Chevrolet! From leasing my vehicles to service with a smile! I went there recently because it looked like my vehicle had a few scratches on it. Went in to ask my Salesperson, Jay Laquerre to come out and take a look. He didnt blink an eye and went out with me to check it out. Seems it wasnt a scratch at all. It was some type of goop, like someone passed by with a bag with stuff on it and it touched my vehicle. He gently started rubbing, and it came off!! Thank you for all you do.
I had a lifter issue on my 2017 Silverado. I was really concerned that this would cost thousands of dollars. I was so relieved when the woman in the service dept. told me it would be covered under warranty. The work was completed right on schedule and the truck runs great.
Had to go there when our mechanic of many years, after $1500 work, said his computer couldnt communicate with our GM car. Had gone to Cody a few years ago with previous vehicle and they were just as great this time. And yes, they had to do more work, but car is finally inspected and were not fooling around going anywhere else anymore. Plus they have a nice waiting room with inside restrooms!
Staff were helpful, prompt and courteous. The waiting areas are accommodating. I have a left toe injury and was wearing a sandal. When he noticed that the agent drove my car around to the front since there was a wet spot in the garage.
Am 60 years old and by far the best dealer experience Ive had. Was contacted by Lauren about a specific vehicle Id been searching for and when she told me I went on an hour drive to get there and was not disappointed. Polite, professional, and committed to getting my deal done. Kevin Clark was my sales representative and he was calm, friendly, and with 20+ years in the business he was very knowledgeable. Never pushed me to use their financing like other dealers and worked effectively on working with my lender while getting me the best deal and discounts and there were 3 great ones never mentioned by other dealers. They are an hour away and intend on driving there to service my vehicle to see if their service game matches their sales game. Would not hesitate to send a friend, family, or any acquaintances to experience what its like to work with an honest and highly competent dealer that treats the customer like a partner in the deal.

We were heading home to PA when smoke started coming out from the hood. It turned out to be a transmission issue. Everyone was so accommodating. Although we had the truck towed in at mid afternoon your service department looked at it and had the car back to us mid morning the next day. A special thanks to Nathan for dropping us at the hotel, moving our motorcycle and trailer and picking us up, what a nice young man.
Our check engine light came on, we looked up the nearest dealership and drove in. It was towards the end of the day. They saw us right away - showed us into their comfortable waiting room and dealt with the car and fixed the problem. I dont know who the actual technician was, but the guy who received us, Eric, was wonderful. He saw to it that we were taken care of and updated us at every step. We were so grateful to be seen to at such short notice with no appointment
This service was, I believe, the installation of a tonneau cover on 10/15. Although somehow I was not on the service schedule after making a 1 pm appt. on 10/12 for this service, Cody Chevrolet got me right in just a few minutes after my scheduled time, In and out in an hour!

I don’t recommend this dealership. I went in this past weekend and wanted to buy a Cadillac. They offered me 50 percent less than my trade was worth and said that’s the best we can offer. I wanted the car and was not about to give a car away in trade so I emailed back and wrote okay no trade what’s the best price you can give me for the car alone.....they ignored me! They actually could not be bothered to sell me a new car!!! I took my business to Springfield Cadillac and purchased myself a beautiful $51,000.00 XT4 from a dealership that knows how to treat a customer. Springfield Cadillac delivered my car to my home today. Cody’s customer services sucks.
When my truck had a problem I called and talked to Sheila, she did her research, looked for the part (which they had, how great, a dealership that has an inventory of parts instead of the oh, we have to order that), found a spot on the schedule right away and was pleasant to do business with. When I got there, she got me in, showed me the clean waiting room with free Wi-Fi, coffee and chairs with tables for my laptop. In less time than she told me my truck was done (and fixed) and I was on my way. Cody Chevrolet is a nice, old school, people oriented dealership. Thanks.

Excellent service really quick with getting the truck I wanted although the downfall was getting the truck cleaned and polished for us which had taken an hour to do overall aside from that fast and courteous.
After bringing my new truck in for service, I was shocked to see that 75% of the employees were wearing no masks indoors. They passed and conferred within close proximity of each other in close quarters. They passed and greeted customers in public waiting areas with no masks. Obviously the management and ownership feel no obligation to their customers or the community at large, especially as a more contagious variant of covid19 has arrived in the state. Ill take my routine service calls elsewhere from now on.
Sold me a 2015 GMC 2500, and told me that it was mechanically sound, about a month in, the power steering pump went... I lost my steering and brakes. Now three months later its in for inspection and Im told its about $3600 to pass inspection. I bought an extended warranty, obviously worthless. I was warned they would pull this. Wish I had listened.
I’ve purchased a new 3500 dump body with a Duramax, and I love it! It’s a workhorse far exceeding my expectations.As far as the customer service goes to be completely honest usually when I go into car dealerships I feel like I need to take a shower afterwards lol that may be brutally honest but it’s honest nonetheless. I however Did not feel like that dealing with Burt spooner, at the commercial sales division. He took the time to make sure he could get me every dollar in savings I could get. the finance manager was phenomenal. He walked me through everything made sure the numbers all made sense was extremely helpful anytime I asked him to explain anything. If I could give this place a six star rating I honestly would! thank you to the team at Cody Chevrolet you guys are phenomenal. it is a drive for me to do business with you but you definitely have a customer for life.
My visit was to the body shop for a bumper replacement through insurance. Working with the staff was very smooth and pleasant. I very much appreciate that the supervisor pointed out a ding that happened while they had the truck and he offered to have it fixed. Had he not said anything, I might not have noticed it for some time--that type of honesty is sorely lacking!I will use and recommend Cody for all my repair work!!

After doing our internet homework my partner and I found a vehicle to try at Cody Chevrolet. While that wasnt quite the one we wanted, the salesman, Duane listened to us and had just the truck we wanted for our business and pleasure needs. He did a great job and we are grateful. After that our experience all went downhill.The sales manager assumed he knew our financing wishes. We thought it would be an easy fix to call him and correct it however, after three phone calls in two days, that all went to voicemail and no call back, we were left frustrated. Given the corona virus we wanted to be in the office as short a time as possible. Not so.We were picking up the truck in the afternoon and the salesman called at which time we corrected all the information. Upon arriving that afternoon nothing had been corrected and all the paperwork had to be printed over. I (a female) had done all the financial research with our bank and when I corrected Mike the sales manager, he looked at my partner ( a male) for verification that I was correct. Both my partner and I were purchasing the truck but throughout the entire process I was ignored and constantly reminded that my partner was the Principal Buyer. The way I was treated was demeaning and insulting. I have purchased many vehicles and homes on my own and never been treated this poorly. When we finally got outside my partner apologized for how I was treated. So obviously, I was imagining the poor treatment.I emailed both the sales manager and the owner Mr. Cody. The owner did reply right away only to give the number of years his manager had worked for him and to say that he was stressed with so much work. Those are excuses Mr. Cody. In the future the correct reply would have been, we messed up, we will try better.Mike did call and apologized and offered to talk about it. When I called back I got voicemail again and decided Id already wasted enough time. WE wont be back.

I brought my truck in for an oil change and tire rotation. Someone washed my truck before I left and when I dried the hood off there was a large brush mark scratch in the hood. The scratch was not there when I brought the truck in and the service manager refused to accept responsibility and offered to buff out as many scratches as he could. The hood needs to be repainted most likely and it will cost a fair amount of money. I can’t believe my car would get damaged while being serviced and you would not offer to fix the damage 100%. Disappointing.
Cody Chevrolet has away treated well, including there sales personal! From ordering part and repairs done on my rigs! This is why I brought my first and second Silverado and like to add my wife brought her Cruse and Trac from them!We are very happy with this dealership!

I have been dealing with rotor problems since approx. 2016. I am finding it difficult to believe that a set of front rotors will only last 1 year or less than 10,000 miles due to rust. It is my belief that the rotors are either of substandard quality or there is some other underlying problem with the brake system that the technicians are overlooking. I have owned enough vehicles in my lifetime to know that brakes should last between 30,000 and 70,000 miles. I have lived in Maine and Vermont most of my life so salt and sand on the roadways is nothing new to my vehicles. While Cody turned my current rotors free of charge I am very concerned that next year during the annual Vermont State Inspection well be revisiting the same issue.

This was the first time I had been to Cody Chevrolet and Cadillac. I own a Pontiac Vibe that had an airbag recall. From my first call with Bill through the waiting there on location for the replacement, I felt that I was being very well taken care of. The waiting area was very comfortable with snacks and keirig coffee free, and vending machines to supply more choices. The drive-in heated garage was clean and well organized. I feel confident about recommending Cody.

I was present during a typical Monday rush but, overall, service was consistent and courteous! Pricing of what I had requested (tire change and dexos oil change) were both much lower than I had originally estimated. I am pleased!
Gouge alert. While staff is nice and friendly mostly, they are a dealer with dealer charging mentalities. Went in for warranty work. Had another issue with the trunk. They said they had reserved an hour diagnosis time @ $99/hr. Guy came out within 2 minutes to tell me what was wrong..needed new part. Then they charged me the full $99 for the 2 minutes diagnosis and quoted me $263 + part cost to install parts. If they had had them in stock, they would have just done the work and charged what they wanted (which theyve done to me several times). Luckily, parts were not in stock and I could say no. I bought the OEM parts for $40 (rear tailgate struts) and with a simple screwdriver installed both in less than 5 minutes. If youve got work covered by warranty, theyre great. If youre paying out of pocket, steer clear.

I Provided background on a known GM issue that is covered under warranty, well before bringing car in and again before service began. They couldn’t confirm the problem, charged me $80 for 5 minutes of diagnosis (shifting the vehicle in park a few times). Wouldn’t follow up with GM as requested.Tough to recommend after my experience.

Good service so far but my issue is this. I called in to them about a problem, I have to schedule an appointment, bring the car in, they diagnose it and THEN tell me they dont have the parts. So I have to pick up the car, and waste yet another day to bring it back when the parts are in. But Ive told them on the phone what the basic problem is enough for the service manage to correctly diagnose the problem over the phone. Cant they order the parts needed then? One of the reasons a consumer goes to the dealer and pays more is that a dealer will have the parts either in stock or easily accessible. Having to get it diagnosed then bring it back days later for a basic issue like brakes is dumb. Should not brake parts be something you have in stock? Also when I first bought the van the wrong parts were ordered on 3 different occasions. I brought the van to Shearer in South Burlington, VT and had the same issue so this is not unique to Cody Chevrolet. This is a problem in Vermont in general for Chevrolet. But I really like the vehicle other than that experience.

I have used your dealership for many years. It was the first time I was disappointed: (1) four young men in the service reception bay with no masks on; (2) a service customer ahead of me inside where the two service reception stations are located - without a mask and no request for him to put one on; (3) Over $1250 in service money spent and the car wasnt even rinsed, let alone washed. Seems like things are slipping....

Purchased a vehicle at another dealership was supposed to be tip top their words, didnt turn out to be close,the car was still under warranty several things wrong,no air conditioning,a leak in the trunk,a sensor gone in the fuel line ect.Codys fixed all even though it should have been the other dealers obligation,great service,nice people,just had an oil change also I highly recommend their service department.

Staff was friendly but not helpful. Their computers were down so no one was answering their phones. When I arrived onsite I explained that if I shut the vehicle down I might need a jump to get restarted. They advised both of their techs were busy and couldn’t even bother to help me find the right part (an alternator). They advised that the earliest the could look at the vehicle is 4 days from now. Nothing like being 800 miles from home and getting the cold shoulder from a dealership. Couldn’t even bother to call another dealership to see if they could help. I fixed the problem myself with parts from Autozone and I’m back on my way. This reminds me why I never buy extended warranties. Who wants to deal with dealerships!

The service advisor Sheila was great and the service was quick. I had an oil/filter change, tire rotation along with a complimentary multi point inspection. I did have a concern however. The technician noted all was good with the inspection yet my tire pressures werent checked and adjusted. I took a picture on my cell phone and they were the same uneven ones I originally had at check in. Also prior to my visit I had an appointment that I had made online for March 5th at 10AM. When I showed up that day there was no record in your system that I made that appointment however I had an email confirmation for the appointment. I shared the appointment discrepancy with Sheila by email. Im willing to give you guys another shot with my future service needs however you need to be aware of these opportunities to ensure a great customer experience each and every time.Thanks,Jeff B.
