I had never been to Johnson Auto Repair, but a flat, off the rim tire brought me there a few days ago. Dennis & Eileen treated me so well, there is no way I will go anywhere else for repairs in the future. They helped me get my kids to school while they worked on my car. The personal service is excellent. The price was very affordable. I am grateful that they were there that day! Wonderful people, great business!

I came to Moorhead three years ago for college; outside of my regular oil changes I have not had to take my car in to a shop at all. Last week I had the unfortunate happening of my car being broken into and the perpetrators attempted to hotwire the vehicle but were unsuccessful. I called all around the area to auto shops and this is the only place that said they would give me an honest assessment for free and they lived up to that standard. I rode with the tow truck drive to the shop and then the shop had an employee bring me back to my residence. I had my car back and ready to roll within 48 hours. Great company, great people, highly recommended!

I called these guys late on a Friday from a recommendation from a co worker of mine.My wife took a trip to Moorhead which is almost 2 hours away and ended up getting a flat tire. Couldn’t get tire off due to a lug nut spinning the entire stud. These guys helped out and got us taken care of within 24 hours with replacing the tire and fixing the lug nut issue. Also knew exactly why tire went flat. They were very professional and very helpful in a bind In a Friday evening and Saturday morning. Definitely recommend this shop to anyone needing vehicle help!

My husband travels frequently for work. He was roughly 500 miles from home and lost the truck transmission. Knowing nothing of the area a quick online search of reviews led me to Johnson Auto Repair LLC. They coordinated the tow and once it was obvious this wouldnt be a quick fix, even coordinated a rental car to get him home. Ilene personally drove him to multiple rental locations until the found a car (it was a holiday weekend) and refused to take anything more than a thank you. They went way above and beyond and if were ever in the area again would absolutely use them. I cant recommend them enough- Thank You!

From upfront to the techs working on our vehicles, the service was great and the work they do is top notch. Had an electrical issue on my wifes car and they took care of us and made sure everything was good and correct for what this issue was. Went into detail on how it happened and why the needed to replace what they did. Cost wasnt nearly as bad as I thought it would be and even if it would have been overpriced, I would have had it done there anyways with how we were taken care of and the work that technicians do is the best in town id say. Would recommend to anyone who needs a shop for them or their family to take it here

Dennis and Eileen are wonderful. They are so helpful and honest. I bought a 2013 truck in March and my motor went out 6 months later, they talked to the dealership and the dealership worked it out and made it right. They can whip up a quote right there as we discuss what needs doing parts and labor + tax and, best of all, they honor it each time.I believe I have certainly found my go-to mechanic for my time in Moorhead Mn.

Hi all! So I just had to hop on here and leave a review for this amazing auto shop! My 3 boys and I were travelling through the Moorhead area (far from home) and the check engine light comes on telling me to have the car serviced. We arrived at this shop pretty much unannounced and they got us right in. Come to find out, all I needed was an oil change. Ill admit, I dont know anything about cars so they could have dragged me through the ringer. Not only where they fast and efficient (in and out in about 30 min!!!!) but they were kind, friendly and personable. Thank you Johnsons Auto Repair!!

After dealing with Action Towing & Recovery LLC, I left a pleasant customer. I called to schedule a tow early on Tuesday morning (which is out of my own schedule, but it worked for the dealership where I was having my vehicle towed) and the guy who helped me gave me a courtesy call back in the same day requesting an earlier pick up time for the car. I didnt see any problem with this and he was professional with how he went about switching around his schedule for me. On top of this, he arrived before the time he suggested he would, and was very courteous to help me get the car out of my garage and hooked up to his truck bed. He communicated with me very clearly and was very polite. The service was very affordable and he knew what he was doing. All in all, a pleasant experience. Would go through them again!

I was on a long road trip, and needed a transmission flush. They got me in next day. When my car wouldn’t start so I could take it in, they called a tow and diagnosed a dead battery. I thought I was going to be stuck there for days, but they did the flush and battery change same day at a low price. They kept me going!

I had a very good first experience with Johnsons. I got quotes from my regular mechanic, the dealership and Johnsons. Johnsons was considerably less so I scheduled my repair with them. It was completed on time and there were so surprises with the bill. The NAPA warranty on their work makes going there even a better deal. I will definitely get an estimate from them before my next repair.

Very friendly and reasonably priced! Had me in and out quick and only did exactly what was requested. No upselling here just exactly what you need for your vehicle. In my opinion its the only service station in North Moorhead worth going to the rest are too small to get you in quick or too large and have to upsell to meet their overhead.

I bought my Kia from Corwin Toyota in Fargo in November of 2015. I had my Kia for 4 months before the engine went out on me. I was broken because I had put all my hardworking money into this car that was supposed to last me years. Corwin said they would not help me pay to get my engine fixed and they would not even pay for half of it. Someone recommend Johnsons Auto Repair to my father and I. They said they would fix my car for me. I brought my Kia Optima in around March of this year. Johnsons Auto was able to put in a used engine and do labor for $4,600 and get my car back to me in a couple weeks. I was happy that they could fix my car for me. Johnsons auto has very reasonable prices and is willing to help out anyone.
