What a wonderful place to spend your money! I would rather, any day and everyday, pay a bit more for local and organic produce, supporting locals and multiple privately owned farms and dairies, than spend any money at a corporate owned grocery.The owner was raised right here and went to school nearly across the street and raised his children in the area. It is a great little stop!

The Avocado Shack is a treasure! It is stocked with a huge range of fabulous items, and Michael the owner is as nice as can be. We stopped in, and it made our day. It’s not often you can say that a visit to a market reinforced your hope for the world.

Michael has the freshest and best priced produced in town! Amazing how much he has in that little gem of a store. He was the produce manager at a local store for several years before they closed so he knows produce and passes great prices on to his customers. He truly has a passion for what he does. So happy he chose to open in Morro Bay!

Love the lemons outside and inside is even more luscious. Fresh fruit and veggies. Its like having a farmers market every day but 1 when they are closed.

I like the staff the selection. They got some more then just produce they have olive oil, honey, nuts, eggs. Ive even gotten quinoa Idk if these things change but its neat going to this place instead of the store.

Now open 7 days a week: M-F 9-6pm., Sat. 9-5 & Sun. 9-3 theres no need to shop anywhere else for fresh, quality produce at reasonable prices. Love all the organics and specials!
