Had nick and his team come give me couple estimates on what I wanted done at our new house was very pleased by there knowledge and customer service they provided from the start so I gave them my business . They mounted our living room tv above fireplace which turned out great and then finished doing my man cave in garage by mounting a 65inch Samsung tv with the surround sound that is just flawless couldn’t be happier with there time efficiency, and quality of work we will use them again in future

Jesse and the staff are great to work with. They hooked up speakers, fixed my remote issues, enhanced my sound system, and hooked me up with a portable speaker that I can move all around. Custom work needs to be scheduled, but they showed on time, and took the time needed to do the job right. They follow up nicely.

5 stars is reserved for “repeat performance “, but based on my one visit from AVPI tech Dan, I am completely satisfied with this company and their level of competence. Dan set up, adjusted, spent time discussing options, and was professional on every level. As stated, I reserve 5 star ratings for scenarios I can verify at least twice, but my initial experience with AVPI and their Dan would rate 5 stars by itself and was a true value. Obviously I would highly recommend them to anyone needing AV services.

It took over a month of negotiation and attempted scheduling before they would even come out to perform the work. Not to mention they misquoted the breath of work that was to be done and never adjusted the original quote based on the final labor performed. They left without fully explaining how to use half the equipment, which, of course, broke. I was supposed to have a seamless wall without visible cords or cables and instead I have a hole in my wall, cables strewn all over the place, and a tv that doesn’t work how it’s supposed to. Furthermore, I moved the reciver and sub myself to the right as quoted In the proposal. It took days of their responding to my calls and emails before they finally quoted a ridiculous amount of money to come and fix the issues. And of course once I refused to pay for their poor craftsmanship, they’ve stopped answering emails or phone calls and refuse to come out to diagnose and fix the problem. Terrible customer service. Could’ve had my grandmother do the same quality of work. What a waste of time, energy, and money.

From scheduling with Monica, to scoping out my project needs with Jessie, and on through finishing the installation with Chris, these guys have provided a truly exemplary experience. We used AV Performance five years ago when we built a new home to do all of our tv installations. They were fantastic. We just upgraded our tv’s and they returned and again were great to work with. They are on time, professional, respectful of our home, explain everything, and very efficient. We are extremely pleased with their service.

I had AVPI install the audio/video equipment in my house while i was having it built and they did a fantastic job. I recently finished the room above my garage and had Jeff come to hook up the internet and enhance the wireless capability in that room. He did a great job. Would definitely recommend him and AVPI.

Does great work! Had 2 small jobs done so far. The first one was just to fix bad work done by the last homeowners & the other was a small outdoor audio setup. I have dealt with Jesse and Kara now for three different items. They went out of their way to accommodate my new move to NC and delays with the house build. Wonderful people to work with and know their stuff too!Jeff the installer was amazing with his knowledge and installation. He was very careful not to damage anything in the new house and cleaned up perfectly. He then took the time to teach this old dog how to use the new controls and set up of the remote for me.New TV is utterly amazing with 4K and the sound from the Polk speakers defies their size.If you want to deal with a great company in the audio/video world this is the company to work with.They are great!

My only regret was not using AV Performance sooner. I didnt realize how many issues I was having with my internet until Nic came out to help me. I had a Sonos system and had added my own pieces and soon the new pieces were not all on the same system anymore. I spent more time frustrated with my system and hating it. It would often turn on in the middle of the night. After Nic cleaned up my system, it worked like a charm, they way it was supposed to. I had been living with these frustrations for 6 years! I then had AV Performance Innovations install speakers for my TV. The sound is outstanding. He had everything set up so that it was easy for those in our house that are not comfortable with technology. It has been a win/win for everybody. By the way, I had to laugh when my children told me to turn the music down!!! Isnt that a switch? I guess I really enjoy it!

AV Performance Innovations arrived when they said they would, fixed my issue quickly, helped with the focus of my home theater projector and their charges were less than or equal to all the other quotes. I would recommend them highly.

Just had AVPI install new Sony xbr900f, panamax 5300 and Anthem av60, the install went without a hitch, exceptional service, knowledgeable and clean. The installer setup everything including ARC anthems room correction which created awesome sounds. My home theater is just amazing and the rep went over all the settings before he left so Im confident in operating all the controls. One final note, the price was right. I highly recommend these guys if you want great audio/video system.!!!!!AWESOME

First off, this review is based upon interactions online and over the phone with an employee of AV Performance Innovations. I do not touch on the attributes pertaining to installation or specific products used by AV Performance Innovations. This is a review purely based upon customer service and brand representation.Goodness me... It seems that the arrogant audio and videophile mindset has overtaken AV Performance Innovations, due to the fierce representation of the brand image by an employee whose name I shall not unveil.After placing an inquiry via their website, I received a phone call this afternoon from that employee, whom immediately revealed a surplus of toot my own horn articulation--covering up the we only deal with folks who want to spend $10,000 and up sales pitch. Attempting to brush his attitude aside, I explained what we were looking for in our new home. Nothing major -- just want to get our feet wet with a home theater setup before we go all-in 3-5 years from now. My elaborations touched upon the different speakers Ive perused, as well as the projector that sufficed for now. To my astonishment, he not only abruptly slammed my research (and advice I received from half a dozen others on AVS Forums, WireCutter, etc.) but also randomly defaced Best Buy--touting that AV Performance Innovations only deals in high-end equipment and clientele that can afford the best. BenQ, SVS, and blue shirts at Best Buy only deal in data processors and market waste.Wow! A strong opinion that hes entitled to (I suppose), however, if I was the owner of AV Performance Innovations, I would quickly pull him into the office and have a come to Jesus meeting on how to speak with potential customers and people in your community. I hate to say it, but he sounded an awful lot like our fearless Twitter tweeting President, Donald J. Trump. Unfortunately, for him and AV Performance Innovations--by association--I will be spreading the word on the awful customer service and arrogant company attitude.

Recently moved to Peoria area for work and this was the closest Goldenear authorized dealer. I always try to buy local and they seemed to offer a good array of products on their website too.The storefront is in the back of a building with other home remodeling contractors allowing contact with kitchen and bath and landscaping companies which is nice.I was pleasantly surprised by the absolutely no sales pressure tactics of their staff.I worked with Nic Barden. He was friendly and genuinely interested in my project and made suggestions after listening to what I wanted and was planning to do. I purchased the surround speakers that I needed and a super subwoofer for a future basement theater.Then about a month later, I lose my job. Having not opened the sub yet, I was hopeful I could return it.Nic and his manager were very accommodating and understanding of my circumstances. They werent sure they could, having never done a return since Goldenear doesnt restock product. Through some trial and error, they were able to get my money back.Im pretty sure they will have to keep it on their books until they can sell it, but they know Ill be back when Im on my feet again.This type of relationship is why I work with great local companies like AV Performance Innovations and their great people like Nic.
