A more challenging install than most - wire wheels. I left them with Big O for 24 hours and picked them up all done. Great communication and very helpful and friendly. Would use again

Weve never been to this location. It came to us. Weve come in contact with the employees twice today because one showed up at my door in uniform, knocking like he was the police, and asking for a guy who drove a Mustang, whose car hed worked on earlier today. We dont know who left this note because they didnt knock. It wasnt there after the first guy left. We already made it clear there was no such person here. Pretty obvious by now that he gave them a false address and phone numbe, if his number is disconnected. Two stars for effort, but this is getting creepy. The apartment manager says no one named Arvin has ever lived here. Sorry for your loss, but no one here has been to your shop.

I know very little about cars. I need two front tires changed. They gave me good recommendations and did not try to sell the more expensive options. Easy to make an appointment. Been there twice and overall good experiences so far.

I brought my Subaru here for new wheels that needed mounting and everything went flawless. Now with a different vehicle that had a flat tire, I recently visited and was still very happy with the service and prompt turnaround time.

Michael, store tire specialist, made me feel comfortable going into the store by explaining the choice of tire available for me vehicle and assisted with making an appointment over the phone. David G. kindly assessed my tire conditions and explained how I could have my tires last longer with regular tire rotation. I appreciate this tip and customer service because it will help me get the best value and life of my tires.

I had my car service here quite a few times and Vince always help me, hes 5 starts on my book. Very reliable, he explains everything done and whats need it. Im only given 3 starts because of the front desk guy (David Gee), on my last visit I requested for Vince to work in my car and David said: You know hes not my best tire guy in front of everyone that was there at the moment... that to me is so disrespectful, if he was trying to help he couldve take a different approach or comment towards his coworker.Other than that my experience with Big-O-Tires has been great.

This Big O Tires will take care of you in the best way. I drove up from Southern California and was in desperate need of tires by the time I arrived. They were able to not only get me tires but performance tires at that on the same day, mounted & balanced so I could safely take PCH all the way home. I cant express enough how much I appreciated their effort and level of service.

David was extremely helpful finding a solution due to the rarity of the tire for my 1997 Ford Aerostar. He went above and beyond by being trusting and making a commitment even before I arrived at the store. The work was completed on time at a reasonable price. An issue with the shocks was found and quoted such that I can opt to have that work done at a future date (no hard-sell tactics). This is my first time using Big O Tires and the first impression was a very good one.As an aside, the location is very convenient near a lot of stores and food places so theres many things to do within walking distance. Theres a Nob Hill close by with free wifi and outside tables.

Second experience here, disappointed again. Most unprofessional customer service.They are close to my home, so went in for an oil change, Saturday. Guy at counter told me they were very busy, to ‘come back Monday.‘. Called Monday for an appointment. Put on hold for 6 min - no problem, may be busy, I decided to call back. Lady on the line makes me an appointment for Monday afternoon. Walk in, guy at counter takes one look at me and says ‘come back tomorrow’. When I said I have an appointment, he rudely challenged me if I have a confirmation number (no hello, no offer to make me an appointment etc). I ignored him and spoke to the girl at the other counter who had made my appointment on the phone. She arranged the oil change. I left the car to be worked on. I concerns with the work.Prior experience.Had small leaks on two tires. Came in with a big-o-tire coupon for a free flat fix. I offered to pay for the second tire assuming the coupon only worked for one tire. Same guy above, did an inspection, told me I needed to change my tires due to wear, he would not fix the leak. May be he is concerned about my safety or may be he is just trying to sell me on tires and not honor their own offer?.There are multiple oil change places and tire replacement shops in the area locally where you will find professional and competent service, that you might consider.

They were very courteous to the customers. The jobs were done professionally. The only complaint was wait time to get the special oil. I would suggest them to take deposits to order ahead so customers do not need to wait for a long time.

Went there twice, once for tire change and once for an oil change.Happy both times with the service, and pleasantly surprised each time.When I had them change my tires, I witnessed them properly torquing down the wheel nuts with a true torque wrench, and not relying solely on an air gun like many shops do.Second time I went there for an oil change, they did it well (they even reset the oil life indicator in my car, many shops dont bother).The staff is pleasant and friendly, and they did not push any unnecessary service. They did tell me about things I knew about already, but nothing beyond, so they know what they are doing and are honest.Recommended.

I was on a road trip from Los Angeles to the Bay Area when the used SUV I just purchased began to make severe rattles, I originally pulled into this Big O because I simply did not have the confidence in the vehicle to drive any further, but I am very glad I did because the service I received was top notch. My issue was actually a fried driveshaft center bearing, which is completely unrelated to tires. Albert and his team were able to accommodate me on impossibly short notice and they were able to repair the vehicle for a very fair price. In addition to the repairs, Albert was able to advise me on other issues that other inspections didn’t find. The team at this Big O definitely came through for me, above and beyond what many other mechanics would. I just completed the road trip back to Los Angeles after the repairs and the SUV drives better than ever before. Thanks again!

My girlfriend went here once for a simple tire repair and was told she needed a $900 repair for all tires they refused to do the one tire due to safety measures another hands trying to bully you into spending money luckily she gave me a call and I told her she was being lied to and scammed by the representatives in the front office later on we went to Richs tire repair and we figured it out it was a nail on the tire and got it fixed for 15$ and eventually got a new tire for $80 they also found a bad rim and got it replaced elsewhere but the total cost was nowhere near 900 and big o tires mentioned none of these things to me only after sells and there own interest not your safety and well-being made my life super stressful trying to explain to my gf that she was being lied to when she gave so much trust to the big o tire so called experts

Everything works well until I drive the car home and found out two of the tires has low pressure warnings. They changed one tire, but didn’t check the other 3 tires pressure at all! I end up changed two gas stations, spent extra time and money to have all tire pressure right. Not a good practice for a tire shop!!

Employees polite, but making an appointment doesn’t seem to mean much. They overbook and a simple oil change took almost 2 hours with an appointment.

For oil changes when you call ahead, they do not give appointments. So when you walk in first Q they ask is do you have an appointment? 3 hr wait time and they talk about flexible working hours to get your car ready. They do not have any flex hours, nor do they offer any service for drop off or pick up. Unless you are next door to one, you are stuck for those 3 hours. Very inconvenient to deal with.

Great experience. Had a flat on a fairly new car, turns out had 2 objects, couldnt be fixed. I found another tire as they are hard to come by, took it to Big O who still had my car, put it on total charge, $25. Albert was outstanding, great customer care. Highly recommend.

I stopped by the shop to repair a flat tire. No waiting time and was out in 30mins! They get the job done quickly while another tire shop nearby has a long wait time.

The staff was nice enough but things could have been handled better when checking in my car. I had a warranty at another BIGO and they were going to call but instead of asking for the info and writing it down so i could head off they proceeded to help another customer check out which was irritating since I came straight from work at around a normal lunch time and they had already started to help me.

When I got a coupon in the mail, I went to get an oil change with it. They made an appointment for me and I showed up at that time. My car is a Nissan Sentra 2009, nothing special. They informed me the service would be $15 more than the coupon indicated because the filter was extra. The coupon fine print said specialty filters are extra but my car has a regular and normal filter. After some wrangling, they agreed to honor the stated price.I asked how long it would take and they said about one hour. This seemed long to me but I said okay and left to take a good walk. I went extra and returned an hour and 20 minutes later. Not only were they not finished, they had not even started. I asked how much longer it would be and they said it will be done in 30 minutes. I stayed there for 15 minutes, waiting, but noticed that still no one started work on my vehicle.Having wasted enough of my day already, I asked for my keys and left.It’s clear to me that they didn’t really want to honor the coupon deal. I will not be returning there.

Broke down In front of this big o tires. They had a mechanic on site and was able to diagnose and fix the issue by end of the day. Picked up the next morning and is running better then ever.

I have a very mixed difficult about yesterdays oil change experience.Bought a full synthetic oil on Groupon. And in the end, hopefully, got what I paid for, but... wish there were no problems I faced.Scheduling within a few days was pretty easy with them.1. When I bring a coupon in, the car somehow was scheduled for a synthetic blend instead of a full synthetic. Had to notice that and let them know before they started a job. Got no apology however.2. Asked to put a reminder sticker on a car window, but they dont do this anymore.3. They promised to call me when the car is ready. Came back in 1.5 hours and the car was already done, but nobody actually called me yet.4. In addition to what I payed on Groupon, they charged me extra $9, which is I think a bit dishonest practice.5. Lady upfront glanced at my tires and insisted they need immediate replacement, and Big-O just got what I need.Checked tires myself with a penny test and it shows tires are good for some more years to run. Conclusion? Same as above.6. After I left, immediately noticed a new noise coming out of a fan.Whats the most alarming is that when I came back, they started telling me that they only did an oil change and this couldnt cause any new noise. Asked them to take a look anyways, and they reluctantly agreed to spend on this maximum 2-3 minutes. The repairman was nice and found the issue. When he checked a cabin filter during service, some leaves got into fan and caused a noise. So obviously the noise was actually caused by their inspection. I do not blame the repairman, but I do blame their complete absence of responsibility for what they did.So if you decide to have a business with Big-O Tires, have this in mind!

Just had a leak fixed. It was fast and they got it taken care of so I wouldnt have to change my tire

I purchased tires from TireRack.com and had them shipped to Big O Tires for install and alignment check. Big O received them two days early and was able to schedule my install a day in advance, which helped a lot. Albert and team were fantastic with their customer service and keeping me apprised of timing to complete the install and alignment check. Thanks you Albert! I would highly recommend Big O for your tire and automative needs.

The work done was for the most part good and done in a timely manner. The woman at the desk was knowledgeable and directed us to a good place to eat nearby. Wes, the man who returned my car told me that all the tire pressures were normalized. When I got in the car, my TPMS systems told me he lied. This is the reason for the 4/5 vs 5/5 stars.

I am told that it will take in between 45-90 minutes for my car to be ready for a simple oil change and tire rotation but it has been more than 2 hours and 10 minutes and you know what, I am still waiting while typing this comment. People were nice but the service could not be slower…

BIgO tire take their work seriously and it is eminent from the moment one steps in till the work is completed. They have very skilled technicians who are passionate about their jobs. They explained the work thoroughly and follow through after the job is done. They are professional and prompt with their work and super pleasant to deal with.

I just called them to ask a question. I was on hold for about 2 mins and an automated lady came on and said Im sorry no one is available to take your call and it hung up on me. I need a new tire but for someone reason no luck in finding a good place! 😔

Went here to replace all four of my tires with new ones. Got a quote beforehand, and with quote in hand, went to the shop. Got a friendly greeting, and was served right away. Was told it would take about two hours to do everything, including an alignment. Took almost exactly two hours! They dont try to bait n switch, they are friendly, and honest. Very happy with staff, tires, and time spent!

Had such a great experience. Purchased the alignment service on Groupon and was able to get an appointment that same day. When I arrived that staff was extremely nice and funny. Best part about my visit is that I was in and out in about 20 min!

Everyone was nice but the lady who helped me was a bit pushy. I can appreciate when someone is trying to help but it seemed as if she wanted to upsell everything. She said I needed an oil change and assumed I was okay with it by adding it to my bill without really asking me if it was okay. Besides that, everyone was nice.

The Service was very good and quick didnt take all day to help me the manager at the Mountain View location was VERY PROFESSIONAL!! AND HELPFUL!!

What can i say other than that Im a repeat customer and thats what matters. I wish i remembered the ladys name that helped me but shes awesome, great energy. Ill continue to get my tires from there.

I went to Big o’tires to chance the oil using a coupon. I went there and got the appointment for two days later, they were super nice and they also change a little light that was missing in my car, I was so glad they had another light in stock so I didn’t need to order it!Thank you guys!!

Being a Saturday, it was pretty busy. However, I was pleased to be greeted as soon as I parked my car. Got checked in right away and was given an estimate of 1 hr. It took a little bit more (~1hr 45 mins) but I was satisfied with the quality of work done. I feel the car drives much better after the alignment.Will recommend Big O tires, Mountainview to friends an family.

Relatively fast service, Wes was professional and clear and gave me options but didnt push anything. Everyone properly wore a mask as well. All in all, as good an experience as buying tires can be.

First I went on San Jose store and was frustrating and DESAPOINT but day after I went to the mountain view store and I was surprised by the great, professional service the pleased me, the manage and the rest was A+ I extremely recommend.

The customers service is excellent and honest.

I called and asked for a quick quote on getting a new set of tires and an alignment. The rep on the phone asked what kind of driving I was doing, and the goal (lowest price, long distance driving, noise, etc...). I really felt like he was looking to provide me a good solution, not just make a quick sale. But, the price was so good, I booked an appointment right away!When I went in at my scheduled appointment time, they re-stated the price and said it was for the alignment and 2 new tires. Yikes! When I said new set of tires I wanted 4.After some discussion, and the apparent miscommunication on both of our parts, we can to an equitable solution/price. They got my tires and alignment done within 1 hour and 15 minutes, and I am very happy with their products and service.In another 50,000 miles, I will be back.

They took almost 3 hours for a simple oil change, and when they were trying to ring me up a couple of staff members got into an argument as both of them were incompetent. Them my car experienced a transmission failure a block from the shop. Avoid this place and their bickering staff.

I went to Big O Tire late last year for a tire fix due to low tire pressure shown on my car screen. The staff was friendly and the fix was quick. After a week, when I drove my car again ( I dont drive it often since I mainly WFH), the low tire pressure alarm happens again. I on purposely ignored it thought there must be something wrong with the alarming system since I just got my tire fixed.Then I did not use my car for couple months only park it in the garage. When I check again yesterday, one tire got completely flat. Since Big O tire is close, I drove my car (I can barely drive it due to the flat tire) to Big O tire yesterday afternoon and ask for help.After I said : you guys helped me with my car tire repair last year and it went completely flat now. Can you help me fix it?Without checking anything the staff simply said: We are not going to help you if you wait for one year to send back to us.I was like I am not trying to blame you, can you at least help me check the tire? And it is not one year, it is only couple months.He said: we dont have time for you today, you need to come back on Monday.I have to drive my car to another car repair place, and within 10 minutes they found the leaking coming from the patch on the tire and help me fixed it.It seems that when Big O tire helped me with my tire last year, the patch size chosen is incorrect which leads to the leakage. I believe wrong patch size chosen can happen sometime and it is not really a big deal. But in my experience with Big O, I do have to have someone else figure out the problem created by Big O which really makes the original very easy problem harder and more time consuming. Thus the one start I gave here.

The Mountain View location managed and manned by Albert and Mariah exceeded expectations. From Albert’s willingness to accommodate me that day, to being greeted by name by Mariah who knew exactly what service I required, to the prompt handling of of my car for the exact price quoted. I couldn’t ask for more and will return for servicing needs.

Havent done wheel alignment in a long time so i cant say whats fair and whats expensive in the price, I personally thought it was a little pricey but they were on time and the work was done nicely, associate gave me a clear overview of my wheels so cant complain too much ovetall

Just finished changing my four tires today at Big O Tires Mountain View. An unacceptable 2hour and 40 minutes wasted on changing just 4 tires. And that was with confirmed appointment form the store.Reserved 1pm slot, arrived 12:50pm, has a good discussion with manager Mike on the tire selections and has agree the service 1:10pm. And then, things go south... waited 2 hour until 3pm and found out my car is still in parking lot- asked the advisor said that it is because they are busy with drop in customers. Complained that I had reservations and got a machinist take over and start the work. Later on found out that it’s not the case. My order did not get passed to a mechanics in the first place until I ask them what is the delay . A good two hours was wasted while the mechanics are available.To be fair, the services are all good, but the work flow and communication need some serious improvements. Overall, I give two stars because it force me to change my work schedules for this unexpected delay.

Big O tires directly conned me into giving them business I would have otherwise taken elsewhere, using false advertising.They told me they had the tires I needed for my M3 (Michelin PS4S) available, so I placed an order. They called to confirm my order and collect my payment info, and a day or so later I got a call from the store saying that the tires had been delivered, and were ready for install. When I showed up at the store, I was told that they in fact did not have the tires, and they could not be ordered until 9 weeks from now. Conveniently, the salesman recommended I switch to a lower performance tire they happened to have available for a higher price.I believe Big O tires is running an organized bait-and-switch scam. They are falsely advertising the tires they have available, and extorting their captive customers (who show up with a flat) to pay more for an inferior product.My mistake: trusting Big O in the first place, to exist as a last place competitor in a market dominated by TireRack and America’s/Discount tire. Exactly 0 people will be surprised when this location inevitably closes.I personally guarantee you will have a better experience at Costco.Boycott!

Most places close at 5 on Saturdays but Big O was there for me when I needed them. They were efficient, convenient and followed all Covid-19 guidelines. Their easy to use mobile site gave me all the information I needed and even had great specials! I saved $40 on a full synthetic oil change and filter. I will now be a repeat and loyal customer!Thank you Big O, you were just what my car needed.

Ive been coming here off and on for about 2 years involving vehicle maintenance and component replacement. The location is convenient and close by. When I leave I am always satisfied with the work done. Recently I was asked to leave a review after a recent visit and I give it an overall 2 stars, reason being; appointment times do not mean anything, it does not matter if the job is big or small expect to wait almost 2 hours past for anything to start, work is done rather slow, and on the last visit there was a bunch of course white crumbs all over the drivers seat which confused me as the car interior was detailed prior to the visit

The price was very reasonable. I got there early and had no wait. The service was excellent, it didn’t take long to get my car done and I was back on the road. I recommend them to those out there.
