We are from Albuquerque New Mexico and loved this place! Emily was amazing! Everything from the food, beer and atmosphere was exactly what we were looking after a long day of flying. In the picture is the Cali-Cajun Chicken Burger and it was made to perfection. If you live IPA’s or beer in general they have a great selection to choose from. We ended up going with a flight to try more than one. We highly suggest going here!
Worth the drive all the way from west seattle.Heard about this place from a friend who lives around the pub and Im glad we visited.Service was quick and server is friendlyFood was on the pricey side but everything is nowadays. Theyre still fully staffed so we didnt wait long on our food.Had the jalapeño impossible burger and it was really good. Tatter tots was cooked perfectly. My blackberry cider was a good choice as well.Definitely would come back
The food was decent but definitely too expensive for what they’re offering. The service was a bit disappointing because of a few different mistakes on their part. First, we got these hot rock steaks which took too long to come out considering we are the ones doing the cooking. The waiter said it should take about 90 seconds on each side to cook, and I don’t know who told him that but it’s not nearly enough. The steak is still cold in the middle after only 3 minutes of cooking. It was closer to 5 minutes each side. Other than that, they got our sides wrong which isn’t too big of a deal because we just switched steaks. They also told us the seasonal veggies were asparagus but what came out was squash/zucchini. Not nearly the same. So a lot of small things that add up to not a great experience.
This was our first time here. We didn’t have a great experience & the food was alright. The Cajun chicken sandwich was good, the fried fish tacos were ok, the tater tots were really dry & the pizza was burnt at the bottom. I was overcharged for my pizza which I know I had ordered before happy hour. For dessert we ordered ice cream & we found a piece of hair in one of them. They apologized & brought us another bowl of ice cream & they didn’t offer to take it off the bill. We will probably won’t be back. Our waitress was great!
Good for lunch, $22. Fish taco, marrionberry cider.Good/appropriate portion.Nice presentation, but...Diisheartened when a tray with fish sticks in the was delivered (I chose the flour wrap). The flavor (sauce) was good, crunchy cabbage. Dont make the fixings more fancy (theyre good as is), maybe just make the fish less kids nightmare fish stick-y.The salsa was terrific w chips, but flavors collided with tacos. What about a pineapple, papaya, mint chutney, or cucumber tomato dill chutney, or pineapple, cucumber, mandarin chop (skip the over-done mago mash, pls). The pickled veg was lovely. Run with that, but remember its a garnish. Its done well!
Ordered food to go twice now. Absolutely delicious. We got fish and chips, the chicken bites, kid’s cheeseburger with fries and their desert apple cider donut holes. Everything was crispy and tasty. The donuts have a sweet almost lemony taste. Can’t wait to eat in house!
Went in for some apps and to feed our son in the middle of the day when there were only a couple other tables. We waited about 45 minutes for wings, loaded tots and a kids burger. The wings were barely still warm and the tater tots had cooled off and dried up into a congealed blob, they had quite obviously been sitting out for a long time. We were offered remakes that came out fairly quick but it just wasnt good. All in all waited about an hour total for two bad appetizers, a kids meal, and a beer which totaled almost $50.
Said they couldn’t do two scoops of chocolate ice cream because he “didn’t want to refill the container.” I could understand if they were slammed however they were not. We also ordered a side a Caesar salad which we waited 23 minutes for until I went to ask if they had finished it. He turned around and said, “oh yea let me check,” and found that it had been sitting on the back counter behind him simply waiting to be handed out to us. The trip was definitely a bummer. :/
Everyone in front of us got their food before us. The staff was very nice, we loved the silverware and the bendy straws. Our wait was very long and our food was incorrect.
Patrick is fabulous, and yes Uber was our friend.
Food is definitely pricey, staff is really nice though and the food is excellent, the root beer float was absolutely amazing and the donut holes were really good as well.
Diamond knots is a local brewery that serves really good beer, cider, and some say food. This one in Mukilteo was a good experience.I recommend getting their classic IPA or if youre up for a good time, their industrial IPA which is, lets say, more concentrated. It goes well with their appetizers as well. Most of their menu items were filled with the typical American diet of cheese, ranch, meat, and bacon, but on the right occasion I might order an entree. Really what they are known for is their beer.Parking can be a bit of a challenge on a busy night. Even though it has a convenient lot right behind it, you have to find street parking as the lot behind it is for residents who paid for it. We had to park several blocks away on this night. Maybe not so lucky. The atmosphere resembles a bar on some nights. There are mostly loud kids in their 20s, maybe college/recent college graduates blasting their horn over beer. But nothing unexpected for a place like this. Whats great is their super laid back grunge like style where you can let loose on your opinions and even throw the shells of the peanuts that they serve complimentary, on the ground and crunch them. Seriously, its a norm, so no one will judge you for that bad table manner.Anyway, its a great place for the right occasion. We really enjoyed it and will be back in the future.
As always the beer was superb. Everyone should experience their brown ale. The food was outstanding, probs are just right. Prices are competitive. Of youre in Mukilteo you have to go here.It is always a good place to stop.
Great place for a casual bite. Fun family atmosphere. Something on the menu for everyone. We had, peanut butter and bacon burger, Italian panini, Fish and rings and tasty clam chowder with cesar salad. We each had our own beer. Awesome selection.
Great brew and eats. Try the Seafood Chowda with garlic bread.
They have home made root beer. The fish and chips were fat and crunchy. They use a panko breading instead of the more common beer batter coating of most fried fish. The vinegar coleslaw was good.
Good food, great beer, friendly service in a fun location. I really enjoyed the outdoor seating for the 30 seconds it lasted. One rotten apple. . .
Great food and lots of beers on tap, super friendly staff. My favorite place to go in Mukilteo.
Worst service given to us by the server in bar section. Never coming back here if this is the service they provide on a very hot day when people come for some relaxing time. Appetizers were served last in our order and the main order were also served after waiting 1 hr. The worst service i have experienced here
Ordered 2 things ahead to pick up. Said it would be 20 min came in and one was ready. No explanation of why we had to wait another 30 min for the next item. The first order was completely cold.especially the much awaited tots that were super cold on both orders. Sorry really disappointed for $40 for 2 sandwiches. Girls were nice upfront but I hope they get the tip I left not whoever messed up.
Service is always good and quick! Always have a delicious cider tap and you get to throw peanuts on the floor!
Delish. Try the experimental batch rye beer, beware 8.5% ABV, before its gone.
Awesome spot, if youre down in this location youd be a fool not to stop in and come in for a beer and a bite to eat. One side of it is a restaurant where you can sit down at a table and the other side is a bar or you can throw the peanuts on the floor. Beer is delicious, they have many flavors to choose from. Food is equally as delicious. Theres lots to see around this area so come check this place out.
The pick up window for ice cream has odd hours. Several times I’ve been here trying to get Ice Cream while I’ve been in Mukilteo and they make excuses about the register being down or the ice cream part being down. I asked if I could just order a root beer because the main restaurant was still bustling and the woman said she’d find out then avoided looking at me until I finally left.I see from the other reviewers that they’ve also experienced these kind of problems. Probably should fix their take out window customer service.
Great food, fantastic location, and the service was good despite being understaffed... will definitely go back!
I brought my family here for the 1st time after working here about 8 years ago. Our experience was great. The food was delicious and the manager Jayden made it a very memorable experience. We will be back!
Extremely rude young lady at outdoor order window. Caught her rudely and loudly belting out at my 10 yo grandson when he asked if they sold ice cream using almond milk. I was turning the corner. She never acknowledged me - ignorant. Thank God for the young man who politely answered and attended to our question and order. The mango sorbet and vanilla bean ice cream was on point but I left with a bad feeling in my gut. My grand didnt want to use his money to buy anything afterwards. I wish I asked her name. I visited around 2pm 6/22.
Ive been to Diamond knot multiple times and always enjoyed my time there- from great service, to wonderful decor and atmosphere to the great selection of beers. Tonight tried their food for the first time,to be specific their regular crust pizza - the pizza itself was pretty pricy,15.99 for about 12 pie. Crust, cheese and the topping was wonderful...however the pizza sauce totally ruined it for me - it was BITTER over seasoned wirh oregano, and there was excess of it.. I have stuffed half of the pizza cause I was so hungry but please change your pizza sauce it is just plain AWFUL.. My husband has been craving nachos so he ordered that and seemed full and satisfied after his meal.Definitely will be back to try other dishes but not the pizza...
One server for the entire bar, 8 full tables & everyone ordering meals. He was the saving grace of our night. No air conditioning in 100° heat. Food was okay.
Bald waiter/waitress only checked on us twice, once to get our drinks and second time when we flagged him for food. Got our orders on our checks wrong, ended up paying too much.Food was good but y’all really have to change staff. A lady even made fun of me for not knowing the lyrics of a song. Totally disrespectful staff but good food. Easy change, a lot of good people looking for work and to work hard and to care about the customer.
Great steak cooked on hot rock on your table 👌
Excellent beer and food. I will definitely come back!!
Stopped by here for dinner on a Sunday.Service was adequate and staff were friendly. Well staffed too....but....I have to wonder if management was around as they were more busy hanging out together, laughing and talking and hardly working. There were a couple of gals working hard though. There was often 4 guys hanging out together behind the espresso/ice cream counter doing nothing. At one point one guy shoved what looked like a big scoop of ice cream in his mouth. The womens restroom was in need of TLC with toilet paper, water and peanuts shells on the floor. With all the staff that was there (and especially not doing much) you would think that the bathroom would be tidied up frequently. All that aside, the food was really delicious and its fun being down on the Mukilteo Waterfront. I love their fries. We were never offered a refill on our soda or ice tea but she made up for it by giving us fresh drinks to go.The Hog Heaven pasta was so delicious! The fish and chips were also very good. They do have a kids menu.I like that the bar is completely separate from the restaurant area as It gets a bit loud in there. Years ago the bar side was the whole restaurant and now it expanded which is nice.We will be back😀Love the historical photos on the walls. Fun seeing Mukilteo in its early days.Happy hour specials daily from 2:30 to 5:30pm and 9:30pm to close.Open Monday-Friday 10am-1am and Saturday/Sunday 8am-1am.There is no free parking.UPDATE:The owner responded to this review within an hour of posting this. That is great customer service. Looking forward to our next visit.
Ate here in the last week and heard an employee whose name I think was Corey talking about not caring about whether the food was at temperature in the freezer. The burger I ordered was undercooked despite asking for it to be medium-well, and it didnt seem like the staff took Covid-19 seriously in anyway. I dont know whats changed recently but I used to eat here all the time and ever since the pandemic shutdown and it reopening it just hasnt been the same.Attached a photo here from when I got lost in the bar once. Nothing is clean, food not stored correctly. Dont go here, this is a safety hazard. This was just the last straw for me.
To sum it up, Ill definitely be back! Food was SUPER yummy, with the sun shining and everyone enjoying the outdoors, it made for a perfect day 😊
So hear is the deal..i went in for a beer or two but wasnt really hungry but I ordered a cesar salad anyways and asked for grilled chicken.the salad was very old..limp and had brown spots on it so a little disappointing. I have been in before this and had food ( cant remember what ) but I knew not to order a meal however the sale that I paid for should have went out a couple days ago! Stephanie ( I just met ) was very nice along with my server, tiesh? I think spelling is mot correct, but both were nice. Ill go back for a beer or drink but their food is not up to what I think can be enjoyed by family & or friends!
Came to this place Diamond Knot Brewery in Mukilteo for the first time! The staff was very rude! We waited for our food almost an hour and a half! We spent almost $100 between my sister and I and when we asked for some ice we were told “we are not required to give free ice” the staff even got mad we asked for some ice like really! They totally ignored us and kept helping other people while we waited! When we got it they practically threw it at us! And the food was Nasty! The Pizza was the worst one! Worst service ever! Very disappointed!
After a scramble on both our part and Diamond Knots, they were able to fulfill our catering order, on time. Food was excellent; the order was completely accurate.
Mets some friends for drinks. Margarita was very good, as was the Marionberry cider.
I absolutely love their tot-chos! They have a yummy Blackberry Cider on tap and some substitutions for those of us with food allergies. Great place. Miss taking home growlers and the old owners. Please put tot-chos back on the menu as tot-chos. That was a pretty lame move to rename something famous to Diamond Knot as pulled pork tater tot nachos. The staff is super friendly and amazing but I do miss seeing familiar faces of the original staff that was there for years that you drove away. I hope there are only good things to come.
They CANNOT get takeout orders correct
Literally worst customer service I have ever experienced. I asked for two cups of ice and they took forever and when asked why it took so long the two girl employees were so rude and basically threw me the cups. Definitely wouldn’t go back!
Serving burnt food is NOT COOL!. Come on Chef you can do better you have soooooo many LEADS
Very good beers very good service but average food.
Great beer and delicious food! The best nachos Ive ever had!
Brillient Memorial Day, very busy area, and DKB right in the middle of it! Excellent staff, great brew (DKB IPA), comfotable place and mask optional for vaxed.
Been goin there for years. Great beer, food and staff.
Open, inviting interior. Located right by Lighthouse Park. (Be aware that parking in the area is not free. 🅿️)Great, friendly staff. The biscuits are fantastic, and the hash browns are crisp and fresh. I recommend the spicy breakfast links for the protein option! 🍳 My wife really enjoyed her portobello spinache benedict. Were looking forward to coming back! 👍
Edit to review: Great place, good beer. I come here regularly for the beer and the atmosphere. I truly enjoy the staff, and the... Beer. LoL. Im a person who enjoys IPA and have not found another one that tastes as good as this joint makes. I normally order a meal to go and really enjoy the pizza and nachos. Ill give a shout out to Corey the bartender. She pours a solid brew, and is great to chat with. Ive upped my review from 4 to 5 stars due to the friendly servers and the great beer.
Great service, food and drinks! Will come back again
Have nothing more to comment on other than rude staff, because after afew minutes of not being greeted in the empty bar, we sat we sat ourselves and were snapped at for sitting at a dirty table. She cleaned it off, and I thanked her, but she bluntly walked away and we decided to take our business up the street to The Lodge instead
The jalapeño popper burger was so good. So were the nachos! Can’t wait to go back one day.
I dont frequent DK often, but its always an enjoyable experience. They have some fantastic beers, and are a popular local brewery. Their menu has some great classics, as well as some unique items. They also have a fun walk up window for espresso or a huge ice cream cone!
Decided to try the new Brewpub Rib Tips from the summer menu. They are described as Slow roasted, smoky-sweet, dry rubbed rib tips on the menu, but they should have named it Rib Jerky with Bone Shards. I do not know if these were severely overcooked or if they are supposed to be like this. The meat was extremely dry, brittle, and greasy. It tasted as if someone had scraped week-old remnants from the grill, mixed in some bone scraps, and served it with the abomination that they call BBQ Ranch Sauce.
Fantastic food, beer and atmosphere!
The service was terrible. The waiter was extremely rude and awful to us. He completely ignored usHe was probably the worst server I have had. He was short with us and would leave rude remarks. It was my boyfriends birthday and he was so rude to him and ruined the night. DK should really reassess their staff, especially the guy who served us.
DANGEROUS - I told them I was allergic to pickles and I needed a plain cheeseburger, they brought it out plain but buried pickles under my fries?! What kind of sick sociopath puts pickles underneath fries?!?! especially after telling them Im allergic - instead of making a big deal I didnt eat my meal - if they cant take a serious thing such as a customers allergy into caution then how can you ever trust this place to serve you food? Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, try Scuttlebutts instead theyve been consistent for years on making sure customers requests are handled properly.
Best beer around, but prices have gone way up and food quantity/qualities have declined. $10 for a beer is pushing it.
Several enjoyable beers, all aspects of the beer spectrum. Indoors had AC on hot summer day. Water views from restaurant side. I didnt try food so no feedback on food, but Ill say it looked and smelled good. ..general bar and grill food.
Was looking forward to a good latte to take down to the beach. Discovered they have all but eliminated coffee service at their walk up window. $2.79 for a bitter cup of gas station coffee, and in an ice cream cup so no sip lid. So few choices down at the water, at least Ivars is still here.
Great food and brew menus!
Awesome food and beer!
Overpriced for reheated frozen fish and Tyson like processed chicken burger.
Sat myself down quickly but service took a long while to first receive a menu, then to get my drink and food order. A buddy recommended I should eat here while in town and order the hot rock steak. It was a great experience with the hot rock similar to a sizzling fajita platter but the ribeye seemed a little tougher than I expected. Otherwise the onions, portabello, and peppers were a nice touch as a side to grill on the rocks. Also be prepared to pay for parking in the lighthouse park lot.
Great pizza and beer! Nice place! Try the tot-chos they were so good and the ice cream as well... Impressed! Check them out
I want to like this place but keep getting let down. At 8:30 tonight the kitchen/waitstaff were busy wrapping everything in plastic while many customers were seated. We were served cold soup and our nachos didn’t make it out.very disappointed. The hazy IPA is good but not good enough to continue to endure the torture of trying to get food.
Always have had a good experience with good food. Had a fantasy football draft there in ‘19 and they were very accommodating.
Great pub near the mukilteo beach. Comfortable, large space and relaxing. Food was good, but its not fit for the healthy eater. Make sure you come with people who want pork and beer!
Favorite stop for great craft beer, and pizza!!
Over priced, tasteless food and bad service. I ordered to go for 2 chowders, 3-piece fish and chips, and a burger with lettuce wrap. The server told me the paper containers wont fit in any of their paper bag and I have to carry all the take outs by myself. The best she could do is put the chowders in a paper bag for me. Those paper containers are just two paper bowls, you cant stack them up! The server just turned around and walked away while you struggling to carry your food and hope not to drop them. Fish is tasteless, over cooked with thick coat. Burger was wrapped with a piece of rotten lettuce. No carackers were given for the chowders. Will never go there
So much fun. Perfect bar for beer, steak, and Mariners games! I cooked a ribeye on a hot rock, and once I got it rare, I set it on some peppers to keep it off the most direct heat. My entire 12 oz steak was medium rare, beautiful, marbled, and de-freaking-licious. Come here. Get a hot rock ribeye and an Azecca IPA. Youll be glad you did.
