Full transparency, my first experience at Stoops back in 2019 was TERRIBLE. I told myself I would never go back, but boy am I so glad I did! From the first moment of contact this time around to me driving off the lot in the nicest car I have ever owned, I was treated kindly, I was helped immensely, and I left extremely satisfied. I was in a terrible place financially. A recent divorce left me unable to afford the car I had purchased from Stoops over 2 years ago. Dale was amazing, start to finish. He was kind, understanding, and worked hard to make so many amazing things fall into place. My wife can not do stairs so we waited in the cashiers office as instructed and we were told it would be an hour. It ended up being an hour and 25 minutes because they were looking for us in the regular lounge. My wife says his manner made up for the delay. He offered to help us with the door to our car and moved it up where it would be easier for her to get in.
Was thinking about purchasing a bigger car and was looking online at Stoops inventory. They definitely had the most to choose from anyone else in the area and the entire process start to finish was top notch. Was met at the door by Larry Taylor, who ended up being our salesman. From the very start he made my husband and I very comfortable in the looking process turned buying process. Sat down and asked all of our wants, needs, likes and dislikes and hit the ground running on finding the PERFECT car for us and our wallet. Poor communication. I came in for a simple diagnostic test before 9 AM and I sat waiting for four hours!. I surely would have not chosen to wait for the test results to sit here over half the day. They keep saying “you never know how long it will take”. I would think a diagnostic test would be somewhat predictable.

Absolutely dumb you have to input personal information to browse inventory. And no it’s not “so we can guide you” if I wanted help I would ask. No other dealer does this. Absolutely taking my business elsewhere where I can browse without being constantly haggled.I asked twice to stop calling me. Over 6 phone calls later and they are still coming.
While it took a little longer than expected the service and body shop both did an excellent job with our vehicle.
I will NEVER take my vehicle to be serviced at Stoops EVER again. I had an 11 am appointment (for an oil change, tire rotation and to have my rear lights checked) and did not end up leaving until 5:08 pm. During this time NOT ONE employee communicated ANYTHING. In fact, I had to take it upon myself to ask about my vehicle twice and both times I received the same response “they’re still working on it”. My rear lights retain water whenever it rains. I wanted to know the issue and how it could be fixed. An employee was supposed to contact me to see how I wanted to move forward with fixing my lights abs I was never contacted. As previously mentioned. In fact, once I contacted Stoops, I was told that applying a sealant may not work and that I should just purchase new lights all together. So they did not apply any sealant but went ahead and replaced the lights for $40 and the very next day it rained and the lights are out yet again. It should have been my decision on whether or not I wanted the sealant applied but since no one contacted me that was not the case. Stoops just stole $40 from me and then tried to get an additional $600 from me (replacing the lights all together).Following this incident, my father contacted the BBB and reported the incident and Stoops contacted him three times but NEVER reached out to me once.This was the worse experience I have ever had with any company. I will never return and I will tell EVERYONE I know to NEVER give Stoops their business. The employees are horrible (aside from Freddy and Lawrence) and all the company wants to do is steal from its customers!

Purchased a $80k truck. It has 4k miles on it now and has left me stranded on the side of the road. I call Stoops service to get it in as it is a company vehicle and needed for work. They tell me not to bring it in for a week and a half to two weeks. I asked if I should continue to try and drive the truck and make sure it is still going to be covered under warranty if more damage is caused by continuing to drive vehicle and he said he would not say any additional damage would be covered. Wonderful customer service
Experience was exemplary. I didn’t wait anytime before young man waved me into service check in area. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes.
It was an emergency dropoff situation but they were able to work it in to check within a couple days. Resolved that issue and discovered a safety issue to report to me as well. They were able to resolve the safety issue additionally over the following couple of days. Kept me up to date on the progress each day.

The buying experience of my car was awesome. My sales rep was nice, helped me out in all aspects, and it was a great experience. When going over purchasing details, I was asked about tire warranty and agreed to have it on my monthly bill. Worst mistake of my life. The last time I needed a tire, I waited for three hours to have my donut put on and was told they had to order it and the tire would be there next day. I had to pull a split shift the next day to make up for the 3 hours I lost and when I call and check on the tire, I’m told it’s not there and it’s not a guarantee it’ll even be there that day. It ended up coming the next day after that. I travel for my job so the donut was not ideal or safe. When I originally brought in my car with the flat, I also asked if they could check all of them since they were all losing air more than they should’ve. I was told they the others were fine, and it was just my flat. I got an inspection on my vehicle from Ford that tells a different story on the tires, and how the tread on both front tires are getting bad and will most likely need changed soon. I’ve called twice now about getting the warranty off my car but have yet to reach anyone- just voicemails and more voicemails.TL;DR- save your money and just buy new tires with a warranty on them elsewhere and don’t buy into the tire warranty.
Lost my iphone as stoops when i got out of the car with my stoops mailer and my phone in one hand. Never saw my phone again and never used the coupon on my mailer

Came in after getting repeated calls to come see cars on the lot. Waited for 2 hours while they tried to find a bank to approve me. Finally got told that the bank they want to try was closed for the day and they would contact me the next day.. the next day came and gone and then the day after that I got missed call and tried calling back no answer and then never contacted again. If I wasnt approved that’s totally fine I understand but at least communicate it. Very un professional. Rank it up there with the service from Kia of Muncie and I hate that place with a passion.-Edit-After this post I was contacted by Stoops. They wanted to rectify the situation and set me up a new date and time. I met up with Brett Estes. If you need someone to sell you a car get this guy. I ended up walking out 2016 Jeep. It took a few days to get it but they looked at all my concerns for it and fixed a lot of the issues, a unforeseen issue popped up and they even fixed it! I would recommend going back to this place!
Got my first ever car here a little over a year ago. Walked away with a 2017 Honda Accord Sport Special Addition for $0 dollars down at 20 years old after only about two hours. My mom and her great credit co-signed. In my own personal contract agreement, it came with 5-7 year tire and wheel insurance. The salesman (Larry) and office agents that took care of the process were extremely personable and great people. Past of what those types of jobs define people as. They were truly good people that just knew how to do theyre jobs. While also making everything completly clear and easy to understand. Im pretty sure every vehicle purchase comes with a free detailing of your times choice upon your next visit to them. Stoops is definitely where I will purchase my next vehicle in the years to come. Told me over phone they had over 100 trucks for sale. I ask 3 times on an s10 while on the phone to make sure letting them know I was driving from New Castle. I live on the far southeast end of new castle near the country. I was told yes we do we have several just come on up. Set a time, drove 45 mins to find out they didnt have 1 s10 and the salesman Richard Foster said, Oh well, all the trucks probably look like s10s to the girls working and laughed. Real professional there!! I am on a set income for heart disease and just had surgery for cancer. I did not have 20.00 just to drive up there and be treated that way.. Sad thing about it my parents have bought cars from there and couldnt believe how I was treated and said they wont be going back..

Bought a camaro, drove it off the lot on my way home when the car hit 45 mph sounded like it was driving on rumble strips. Called salesman with no return. Went back in and they scheduled it for repair. The day I was supposed to drop it off and pick up loaner car I received a cLl from the dealership advising no loaner car available will call me later with update. Called me back and said still no loaner car. I advised they would have to come and get it and the repair guy said ok they could do that. I then said that I wasnt going to pay a dime for the repair and the repair guy said it would be 129.99. Im sorry I paid 39000 for a car and now you want me to pay 129.99. Dont think so. Stay away from they will try to blame each other but at the end charge YOU for what should have been taken care of before sale.
Sales people were in a hurry to go home on a Saturday. They did not tell me price of the vehicle. Sales person went some where and came back and told me can be a possibility, then come back and said no there was nothing he could do. Could not putme in anything. Not good business. Not like other dealerships Ive been to, unprofessional.

My 2009 Chevy truck was hit in the right rear quarter panel. State Farm Ins suggested I take the truck to Stoops for a guaranteed repair. I talked to Amber Jones for a very quick and informative estimate. Repairs took only four days. I couldn’t believe the fine job completed. You could never find where any damage was done. They then washed and waxed the truck. It looks great. I would recommend their work to anyone.

My last 2 services have been an issue. Both of them I have had to return or ended up having to get a loaner to drive. This past service was an oil change. Upon inspection I needed tires so I agreed. I could not get in the same day for the balancing so now I have to return just to get the tires balanced. I have to leave work early or come in late to drop off or pick up my car since I work out of town.
I was very impressed with the service dept! I dropped my car off to have the transmission looked at and when they called me, they had looked over the whole car and told me everything that was wrong with it! I appreciate the honesty and hard work!

Where do I begin. I went to Stoops knowing I was upside down on my current car loan. The fun began when I arrived and was greeted by “Brock”. I had already done the credit app online but we ran through the whole thing again at his desk. First I was asked if my husband “pays the mortgage” which was strike one as he had not even taken a look at my check stubs, because if he had he wouldn’t have made that assumption. Secondly little comments were being made under his breath regarding how much I still owed on my old vehicle, etc. Last but not least Brock came back from the finance desk and stated that they absolutely couldn’t help me. I inquired as to why with all the trade incentives and cash incentives going on currently that should have absorbed the majority of the negative equity, but he stated without a down payment (which we HAD NOT discussed prior to this) they wouldn’t be able to get it approved. I know I need a down payment. This isn’t my first rodeo. I stated to him that I could in fact make the down payment but didn’t appreciate him assuming that I couldn’t. By this time I was so disgusted at the profiling and sexist remarks that had been made I kindly declined to proceed any further and exited. I have purchased 4 vehicles from another dealership here in Muncie and have never been treated with such disrespect and discrimination simply because I am a woman. I will take my business elsewhere and advise other women not to go to Stoops alone without their “Mortgage Paying husbands” in tow. Pro tip: tell Brock he should never judge a book by its cover because he lost a sale today due to his chauvinistic comments and assumptions. Never again will I step foot in Stoops.
I have never been so comfortable in a car buying experience as I was at Stoops w/ the sales sloutionist Corey. Staff was great! Corey took time and effort into getting me in a new 2020 Acadia, which I never thought I would ever own a brand new vehicle. Corey helped my family so much. You can really tell Stoops cares about the people, I will never shop for a car anywhere else, Stoops is now my go to. The finance department was wonderful as well, Kris saved me money and got me a great monthly payment and interest rate. Stoops is really for the people!

Brought my truck for an oil change, rotation and alignment. Appointment was at 10:30am, I arrived 10mins earlier. It is 12:45 right now and still not done with my truck. I mean even Walmart could have done these in less than 2 hrs. Terrible service department with apparently just one mechanic working and not a bright one apparently! Never coming again!

My elderly father took his vehicle to Stoops in Muncie yo have the rt side exterior mirror replaced.They charged him $500 for the new mirror assembly. They charged him for paint labor for painting, as it came unpainted, and clear coat.I told him to bring the old one back.(They had to retrieve it from the dumpster). When he got home, I took the old mirror to just look it over, I saw immediately that the macbook trim panel was gone. I proceeded to check out the new one. There was the old panel, scratches and al, on the new mirror along with a corner that wasnt seeded.When I went back to Stoops and told them i expected to see a credit on his card for the materials and labor he was charged they said they had done him a favor by using the old part because he would e had to wait an extra day if they had vb used the new one d/t new paint having to dry.Needless to say, he is expecting a check within the nextv5 days in the amount that was overcharged.Dishonest damn poeple..
