He did not push for an upgrade, but with the information he shared, we did chose to install a new device and are thankful we did. Its incredibly quiet and will be reliable for many years.What stood our was Erics very high level of professionalism. The quality of his work and his demeanor are unsurpassed by any trade Ive ever had work on our home. We highly recommend Chicago Garage Door, specifically Eric and Brian. Our garage door project was complicated due to a large 10x10 custom door and low ceiling clearance, but Eric figured out how to make it all work. In addition, Eric and Brians communication (scheduling and confirming appointments, work estimates, answering questions, letting us know when they were on their way, etc.) gave us a lot of confidence. In the end, we have a garage door that works as good as it looks. We could not be more pleased!

Brian B. diagnosed the issue and replaced our 27 year old opener He was polite, professional, neat and knowledgeable. He ran into a proble with the opener button in my Audi and worked tirelessly to get it to work, not an easy task. I urged him to give up but he wouldn’t. This company and Brian are exceptional.

Originally found Chicago Garage Door and Eric through Yelp and with such a positive experience I found it necessary to share my experience here on Google as well. My experience: On a Saturday I found that my garage door would not open and sent out a few requests for quotes on Yelp. Eric was prompt and was in-line and competitive to the other offers/quotes I received. More importantly for me was that he made himself available to come same day and even on Sunday when his business is actually closed according to Google. The work: Eric was very honest and FAST. He was able diagnose what I needed to have done and found other problem areas that I missed. He went as far as readjusting any cables, arm/rods, and etc that he did not have to do to ensure that everything worked smoothly. The person: Eric is super professional and approachable. He was willing to stop what he was doing and answered any questions I had and reviewed my invoice in detail to make sure that I completely understood the work that was done. He is definitely a good guy and I am glad that I was able to meet him. When talking about pricing he made a comment that I felt pretty good about which solidified my decision to call and schedule with him and his company. He said something to the sense of, “I believe that I can have a good business without having to take advantage of people.” I could tell that he truly meant that and it is evidenced by the other reviews that he has under his belt.
