Never use staples for same day business cards. I used this service and when I called about my order they said they were not ready yet. I called back to see what time they would be ready and they then informed me that their machine was down and that they were sending the order to the oak lawn location and emailing me the confirmation. I never received the email confirmation and when I called oak lawn after a couple of hours they informed me that they never got the transfer and that their printer was down anyway. This was my first and last time using Staples for anything

The African American young lady that works in the print department has such good positive energy! Everytime Ive came in the store she is always smiling, always eager to help or assist, always in a good mood, never seems overwhelmed even when she is over flowing with costumer all becking for her assistance at once, she is always cool, calm, collected and pleasant. I believe she would make a awesome manager one day and is over due for a promotion! Lol keep up the smile girl you rock!

The middle aged man by the printer and copier department was not to nice and helpful. He worked there for years but seemed very bitter now and didnt want to help me in a nice way. I was very disappointed with his service

So yesterday, (6-10-19) I stopped in at Staples to buy a binder and sheet protectors for my binder for one of my classes. I am amazed at the service I received. The guy was really nice helping me with everything. He even helped me save a couple bucks. I believe his name was Dylan. When I first got to the register, he gave me his opinion saying...he felt that I should get a larger binder than the one I had originally picked up at first. Then he walked with me over to the binder section to pick out one. I wanted to label my binder and picked out some labels which were like $10. Dylan showed me that I already had a label alongside the binder. I really appreciate his attitude and his service. Really sweet and polite man. My visit was fantabulous!!!

I’ve always had a great experience at this Staples. It used to be ran by competent individuals with the customers business coming first, but my past few experiences have been awful. Most recently, I was forced to buy tape just to ship a package, simply because they “ran out” behind the counter. I’m not expecting a free handout, but UPS, FedEx and every other Staples I’ve ever shipped from or completed work through provided this. Seems a little ridiculous to have a customer buy a $4 roll of tape just because you “ran out”.I guess I should be using the actual UPS or Fedex store for now on.
The best customer service ever!!! I now have a regular Staples to go to, I use to travel over 15 miles because of there service. Now I have a great place to go to 2.5 miles from my home.
The store is clean and well stocked. I purchased ink for my Canon printer. The price was reasonable and the check out was fast.
We needed files printed and transferred from our phone and the staff on both days were amazing and helped us so much and we ended up with amazing pictures and products. Needed regular things printed and needed poster sized printed and all turned out amazing.
I come to Staples quite often because my work place is right by it. We get a lot of our supplies from here. The staff is always very helpful and everything is organized, which makes items easier to find!!
Love this staples. If I am looking for something for the kids projects or for work, I know to come here as they always have just what I am looking for.
Came to this location to have business cards printed on three separate occasions. First two times I received excellent service. This last encounter was poor! Associates in the print center seemed disinterested...as if they did not want to be at work.A second employee that was assisting a customer near the printer ink section seemed disinterested in being there as well. Wow. Guess it depends on which weekend you pick to come here.
Employees are helpful and want to help you find items. There is a maze to get to a register. Not a good layout to get customers to the register.
Usually I dont write reviews, but I had a really good experience while there buying ink for my printer. First employee noticed I was a little lost and directed me to the ink section. While looking at all the cartridges, another employee walked up asking if I needed help, he then answered all my questions regarding the correct one i needed. Last, the cashier checked me out and even walked out from behind the counter to give me my bag. All of them were really friendly and helpful, and provided an excellent customer experience. The whole staff had such a welcoming energy, that i appreciated.
Went to Staples yesterday and was trying to purchase a bluetooth and the cashier said that my money was counterfeit...I didnt even argue with the cashier but I just took my business to Best Buy and the cashier there laughed when I told him that the cashier at Staples said that the money was counterfeit...4 $50 bills....I know banks dont give out counterfeit money so in other words Staples dont like selling items to BLACK PEOPLE...smh

Went for ink cartridges, and forgot what type I needed, first off I was helped throughly, by the young lady at the front, she said they could look up my previous purchases with my rewards card, and then rob helped me find exactly what I was look for, great store!!
Very disappointed with the staff in the printing department at the Munster location. Similar to the other reviews on here, the staff were not helpful and appeared disinterested. I placed an order online and it was not processed correctly. They said that I didnt choose the correct paper thickness or select cutting. Still not sure if that is accurate. My paperwork shows i did. In either case my instructions were written clear and precise in their special instructions field box. If they were not sure, why not pick up the phone and ask the customer? Worst part is they didnt care. Even the Manager was like humm, not sure why they didnt see that? Wow. Ill never print anything again at the Munster location.

I have been to this location 3 times in the past 3 months and 2 of the times the employees were rude and not helpful. They actually seemed bothered that I needed help.I needed an image printed out for a posterboard. On 2 occasions I explained that I am not computer literate and would need assistance. Both times employees just walked away as I am being charged by the minute to use their computer.Complete lack of customer service.I will not be a returning customer.

Purchased an office chair. Manufacturers instructions were easy, item #416523-OSGOOD BROWN CHAIR. After assembly I noticed chair sat low to the right side. Couldnt deal with it as it continued to lean to the right ech time I sat down. Took back to store and manager, with a face unwilling to compromise, basically wouldnt have a new one built because theres $14 assembly charge he was unwilling to wave-but yet gladly offered to return my money. Needless to say, I asked for my money back and will cancel my online purchase placed this morning. This guy should retire as he surely doesnt understand customer service and obviously doesnt comprehend the modern way of being able to go elsewhere for supplies. I run a business, which I constantly purchase supplies for-last time I come here. Sad that $14 just cost you a lifetime customer. Shame on you.

Okay... So Im from out of town and realized that I left my laptop charger at home and It was dire that I had one before a 3 hour long conference I was attending. So I came into the store and talked to GREG M. I brought my laptop with me and told him that I need a charger. So the charger itself was $65!!!!!! When the same charger at (Wal-Mart was $20...) so Greg shows me the chargers, telling me he was and I quote the rain man of these things and assured me the one he handed me was correct. I get to my conference and go to plug in my extremely expensive charger and NONE OF THE PLUGS WORK!!!! YEAH RAIN MAN MY ASS!!! sorry if you took the time to read this whole thing. But Greg wasted so much of my time. Time I can never get back, Greg......

Ive never had a worst experience ever before than with this retalier! I went to get the on button for my laptop fixed, simple job realy. Thats when the technician (Rob) took apart my laptop to get it fixed, and later told me that I would need a new mother board because he is not able to fix the on button without a new motherboard. I thought that was kimd of silly so I decided to take my laptop elsewhere to a friend of mine, to see if he could fix it. However, my motherboard was messing/stolen from me and staples refused to give it back. Someone please look into the employees working there because I know a lot of dirty things are going on. They even sold me an old customers charger under the the table for 15$. Higher managment needs to close this place down because it is not a professional establishment and makes the entire staples brand look bad.
Ya go in...get what you need...hp ink black and color combo in my case....and viola...i didnt have to wait for some drone to deliver it....doh....thats gonna leave a mark...lol

Staples staff is always ready to help. My only problem with this store is that it has so much great stuff to offer, I have trouble sticking to just one item to purchase!
I was just in the Munster location 45 minutes before closing to get a few things laminated. Was never told that I would be charged 5 dollars on top of price per laminated sheet if I waited for it. If I was told that i would have come back the next day. We had to inquire after we paid what the 5 dollar express charge was. We were told it was because we waited and had it done right away. Bad business if you are not told in advance. Was asked when that changed as I have always walked around while things were printed or laminated. Was told it started this past Dec. I will never shop there again as it is a hidden fee if they do not tell you before they start doing the job.
I called the Munster, Indiana store to see if the store sold the TURBOTAX DELUXE without the STATE portion. I said it they had it, it would be $39.99. The girl made me hold a couple of times, which is totally fine, but each time she came back on the line, she has bad information. The first time she tried to tell me about TURBOTAX BASIC. I politely informed her that I requested the DELUXE version. She then put me on hold, which is ok since mistakes happen, and came back and announced that they only had the DELUXE version with STATE, which is $59. I said, no not that one, but by the way the one you just described is $49, not $59. Since she was obviously young and might not have any knowledge of TAX products, I asked if I could speak to someone else. She was polite, and said to hold, which I did. I have no problem with anything she did or said, she was very polite. A guy got on the line that identified himself as the GM. I said, Good, I was hoping to speak with someone that knows what I am asking for. He obviously took it as condescending, because he proceeded to scold me. I was still patient, so I asked him EXACTLY what I had asked her. He came back to the phone and was telling me AGAIN about the BASIC edition. He did not listen to a word I said. I was politely telling him that I was looking for the DELUXE, not the BASIC, and he hung up on me mid sentence...just like that. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT STAPLES AGAIN. That GM was beyond crude. I worked retail for 15 years at the management level, and I would never talk to a customer the way that he did. In fact, I have never witnessed any management person at ANY store, including fast food stores, speak the way that he did and hang up on someone.

Marely was extremely rude because she did not understand my written request..even when I advised its ok mistakes happen she continued her unprofessional rant because I pronounced her name incorrectly. I have sinced closed my company account with them and only go in the store when time doesnt permit to travel to another office supply store. Totally unprofessional and corporate was notified of my horrible encounter as well. Dont just rant here call and email corporate. Racism is real.
Was my favorite office supply store till I met the Cashier Kelley. Very rude and curt manner to us. No one was waiting in line. Will travel to Valparaiso and not to the one in Munster after this poor service.
