First time there and felt a very nice environment...Troy and the technicians were extremely knowledgeable and very accommodating. I will definitely return and spread the word about my experience there.

I had an emergency and I took a chance to drive over after hours to see if anyone was there. Turns out I was right! So at 6:00pm, 30 minutes after closing time, they saw me and took care of my problem! I would not suggest doing this, but I am very thankful for the kindness and understanding.

I am from Georgia and I’m in Murfreesboro, TN for a job interview in Brentwood, TN. As I was leaving the interview in Brentwood, I noticed my air conditioner was not cooling, my check engine light came on and the thermal sensor gage was not reading the temperature of my engine. I hit my OnStar button to get navigation to the closest Chevy dealership. When I arrived at the dealership, they turned me away because they were booked with appointments and taking no walk-in appointments. I was frustrated and wondering how I would get my car checked, repaired, and be able to drive back to GA by Sunday. By now, it’s after 12:30pm…on Friday. I Googled car repair shops near me… The Car People was the first one on the list. At first Troy told me he was booked for the day too. I explained my situation and he told me to bring my car, they would squeeze me in. He went above and beyond to find the part I needed to fix my car, he call all over until he found it. He also offered suggestions on what I could do if I couldn’t get it done today. In the end…They will have my car fixed by the end of the day and I will be able to travel back to GA on Sunday as planned. I can’t thank them enough for taking care of everything. The price was reasonable considering the problem. I am happy I called and hope they stay in business. I will be doing business with them from now on. Well…. when I get the job I interviewed for and relocate to TN. Thanks for everything! You all have really been a blessing!

If you like being lied to, getting overcharged, and people stealing your money then this is the place for you. Typical sleazy mechanics that will lie, cheat, and manipulate without hesitation to try to gain business. DO NOT trust anything they say!! I saw the issues with my own eyes when I got a second opinion from an actual trustworthy mechanic and almost everything they stated in their report was a lie. Dont waste your time or money with these people. Theyre crooks and they know it.

This place is legit. They do quality work and dont suggest work you dont need. They can work with you on things, and they even show you videos of your car doing the things theyre describing! First mechanic Ive ever seen do this. Great place. Definitely using them again if needed.

Horrible experience! Had them to remove a blow device from my car. When I called to get a quote, I was quoted $150.00, however when the company called to schedule it, they were quoted $70.00. so they were going to over charge me as an individual. Had to have someone follow me and drive 60 miles to them for an 8 am appointment. They said it would be 2 hrs. So, we drove around and killed 2 hrs only to be told that they had an oil change come in and they hadnt even started on my car and that it will be another 2 hrs. Come back at 12, car was done, however my dashboard was not back together and there was greasy black handprints everywhere. Thankfully my husband was there to put my dashboard back together. This Place is a Joke!!!

Dont go here ! They break more than they fix, overcharge, take wayyyy to long, took our vehicle on a 45 minute test drive right at lunch time after taking hours to put new tires on for us when they knew I was in their waiting room pregnant and had 3 kids with us. We gave them multiple chances . We went for tire rod repair, new tires, oil change ect . They put on used parts when they told us they would be replaced with new parts and even showed us the new part and were charged for new ! Receipts had incorrect information on them . They left a screw driver under the hood . Didnt put the cap back on after an oil change . Ect ect. Everytime they made our vehicle worse . Go to Walmart or jerry potts .

Fantastic auto repair shop! The Car People, LLC totally went above-and-beyond to provide good quality auto repair service. They were very responsive and professional. They arranged for me to have a car while my SUV was getting repaired. They answered every question, handled the warranty company and finished up super-quick. I have been doing business with these guys for a little over two years . They are very honest, reliable and don’t overcharge or try to sell you on things you don’t need . I am thrilled to have found them and will continue to do business with these fine folks .And they do quality work to boot . They have solved several nagging car issues that otherwise had went undiagnosed and unresolved. Who would have though that the problems would be so easy to resolve .These guys work hard and are sharp but they make it look simple and easy . I havent even picked up my car yet. But because of the experience Ive had with The Car People at the Murfreesboro Tn. location so far, I have to say something about them. At age 46 I dont know if Ive ever been to a repair shop where the Repair man were so concerned with not seeing me again. The Manager was Knowledgeable and Efficient. He and the Repairman and made recommendations detailing everything that our car would need but only repaired what was needed at this time because of financial issues on my part. The problem we have been having for the last 5 years and taken to about 7 different shops about was properly diagnosed right away. I said it was a problem with the wiring to each of the others but they replaced the o2 senor 3 times worked on the fuel line 3 times and replaced something with the coolant system the other. None of those things repaired the Problem with with the car. I just received a call from the manager of The Car People shop and he told me the problem was solved. Im not the most articulate educated person but if I were Id use some really big nice words to talk about the experience Ive had with them. Transmission on my g37 needed to be rebuilt so I took it to the car people and they found a good used one and installed it for a decent price and in a timely manner. Charles is very helpful when it comes to getting things right on your car. Highly recommended.

I received a coupon for a $9.99 oil change and made an appointment. I received an email to confirm my appointment and was pleased with how quickly the job was done. There were several things wrong with our vehicle, which I already was aware of, and the gentleman came to tell me about everything the mechanic found, but was not pushy for me to get it fixed when I told him I wasnt going to do those right now. He was very friendly and I will gladly go back there!!

They seem to be decently honest and their prices are fairly standard for auto repairs. The staff keeps changing, which I wish didnt happen so often. They can be weird about things at times, and very helpful other times. One of the better mechanics Ive found in Boro but thats not saying much at all.

I first learned about The Car People from Advance Auto Parts across the street. Ive used The Car People several times and have been pleased with their work and their prices. Im actually back here again today getting my oil changed. Charles and Troy are always a pleasure to deal with and make sure my car is in tip-top shape. Communications are great, and they will let me see the defective parts prior to ordering/installing new parts, adding to their integrity.

Literally one of the worst places to go to get service done. Ill never understand why they have only two people on staff that are actually doing anything. They stay open late to try to work and still struggle to get anything done. Ridiculous labor charges, and I guarantee they could care less about your concerns. All they see is a dollar sign hanging over your head.

I went to The Car Guys today to have my brakes worked on. They offered the best price in Murfreesboro and had the best service. I called to get a quote today and spoke with one of the workers (Chandler). He ended up working on my car, and after I paid I found out they weren’t even open. He solely did it because I told him that I could not come in on Monday. They offered honest and fair pricing. I am definitely returning to get more work done on my vehicle. Thanks Chandler!

Nice and Friendly staff with a Great knowledge of vehicles and very fast on the turn around. Transmission on my truck went out, dropped it off on a Monday got it back weds. Cant get much better than that.

This shop is the best around for honest prices, expert knowledge, and timely service. Delontay, the owner, is always fair. The head mechanic, Chandler, is the best in the business. He can fix anything!!! I drive 4 hours to get my car repaired by Chandler. Yeah, he is that good. Every time I bring my car to him I leave with bald eagles shooting out of my tailpipe. I was told my vehicle would be done in 2 to the max 4 hrs was lied to twice. 6hrs later called and the man said it was almost done. I did not get my vehicle back for 8.5 hrs and was very upset. I asked for some kind of discount or something and was basically ignored. This us very poor customer service!!!!

Took my car here today for an oil change. Waited 2 hours to get it done, and I was happy as ever to mark it off my list. I drove around in my car all day, and when I was sitting in traffic, I saw the engine light turn on, as well as the blinking oil light, and my car would constantly shake as I slowed to a stop. When I got home to Murfreesboro, my car started making weird noises as I was slowing down and stopping for speed bumps. I checked the oil MYSELF, and there was no oil to be found. I even made my friend check it to be sure, and he agreed with me. So we called the “Car People” and told them the issue, and they supposedly sent a tow truck at 7:00pm to get my car and fix it. It’s now 9:00pm and my car is still in the same spot. I have never met such an unreliable company because I truly trusted that my car was in good hands.

Driving thru from Disney vacation to Chicago and our minivan started shaking and check engine light turned on. Stopped here and they tested the car, found the problem, called around for the part but it wasnt available for a few days. Luckily, just cleaning and putting the sensor back got us going again. They were kind enough not to charge us and we were extremely appreciative for that and for being so helpful. Clean shop, and waiting area as well, highly recommend!

I had been trying for months to figure out what was wrong with my car, not only did they figure it out, the customer service was great and the price to fix it was very reasonable. Will be recommending to friends and will have my future car work done here.

Ive not actually had a repair done, but I went to Advance Auto to get a replacement bulb for a rear turn signal, and was informed that they are not allowed to switch out bulbs. TCP was right across the street, so I ran over there to see if they would change it out for me. The mechanic switched it out for me at no charge (I was willing to pay for his time). I really appreciated the courtesy - wish I had gotten his name. I drive for Uber and Lyft so my car is in for routine service quite a bit. I will definitely give them a try next time Im in need of repairs!

They told me it would be 28 dollars for an oil change. When I got there they charged me 50. Im also positive that they tampered with my brakes because after they said the oil was done they tried so hard to make me spend 150 dollars trying to use scare tactics saying that my brake pads only had 2% left. Ever since i have left there, my brakes have been making an awful sound and not working correctly and now i have to actually go get it checked out. But I damn sure wont be coming back to this dump full of snakes. I also made a police report. Dont go here, go somewhere honest. I feel as though they thought it would be easy to take advantage of a young woman that doesnt seem to know anything. You picked the wrong person, but im positive im not the only one.Oh yeah. And i got full synthetic but apparently i have to come back after less than 3000 miles 😂😂😂

The worst experience ever do not take your car to this shop I took my car there for one simple thing that they could not fix but tryed to and didnt know what they were doing and telling me that I need to get something that I didnt need they just didnt know how to fix it got my car back with he same problem and so much other problems check engine light on, service stability control light on and so many other problems they also dent my car and made it dirty on the inside they cost me over 600 dallers worth of work to be fix not including my dent and the carpet cleaning and they refuse to admit that they have done this to my car and have been telling me the boss will contact you and everytime I call there they have a diffrent excuse its been over 2 weeks they have been playing with me and making excuses will be reporting this and puting these peaople to court

The Car People are some of the best car mechanics I have run into in over 40 years. They care for my Nissan Altima, Seebring and my almost 30 year old Olds Custom Cruiser SW as if it was their own and the cost was coming out of their pockets.

So there we were, beset on all sides by corporate America. The new upper management of the company who worships the almighty dollar alone demanded that we return all company vehicles, so that we make gravel for their use in the future. myself and a stalwart other few decided to fight this grave injustice. With the scant ammount of coin we had to our names my fellows workers and I set about finding a suitable mode of transpertation so that we may throw off the yoke of indentured servitude that the monie grubbing upper management had placed apon us. But this journey was a tireless one of trials and tribulations, and just as we felt our strength leaving us, I found the only vehicle within my budget. A 96 Nissan Altima, almost as beat as we were this car was the Dimond in the ruff we sought. Just as the celibateing set in, a golden haired mechanic god decided from on high. Our vehicles savior. Chandler Young. Like something akin to the darwfs of Nidavellir in old Norse legend he set about fixing the dog turd of a car we had humbly set before him. Within scant moments with parts flying and tools moving Chandler the once and future mechanic king had turned the pile of excrement we had purchased into a fine tuned immaculate road machine. We fell to our knees in weeping reference of the unbelievable feet all had just bore witness to, knowing that mere mortals could never hope to offer fair compensation for what had occurred there that day. And just when the saddens was about to overtake us, The prince of the engine spoke. The smooth words he utered were that of the best price in all of middle Tennessee for a normal repair job, let alone the magic that just occurred before us. We gladly paid the small sum.he asked for and with the last tears of farewell in our eyes bid farewell to our Road Savior and went about our small lifes.
