Average comic book store with a reliable supply of trending new release books, decent selection of silver age that are... priced to match ebays fluctuating prices minus shipping + fees + convenience discount, as well as statues & cool vintage toys that add to the atmosphere. They offer comic book supplies for sale (bags, boards, top loaders - except long & short storage boxes).My biggest complaint is that the standard BCW boards that they sell are bent to a point that books stored inside will have a slight curve after some time. Their entire stock of boards have this defect and Ive pointed it out each time Ive come in over the past 2 months; owners and employees shrugged it off and said that it was normal or would adjust over time. Its not a tiny corner bend. The entire pile is curled when laying on a table or later packaged inside of a box.Its hard to believe that this defect was not noticed or addressed to the supplier/distributor, and that people that deal in comics can shrug it off like it is normal, or not noticed when they were received. Its kinda hard to miss how bent these were; Id certainly call for a discount after ordering a pallet of bent boards, so Im annoyed that it was shrugged off 3+ times when Ive come in solely to purchase supplies over the past couple of months while waiting for another shipment. I wont spend anymore money there again out of general principle.

This place has been around forever and always has the best merchandise for sale along with a very friendly environment.

Had a couple of questions about collectables and the guys were very friendly and helpful. The store was nice also, clean and brightly lit. Would definitely recommend!

This place is the king of variants, exclusives, CGCs, and ratioed cover comics. They have a strong back issue collection, but they have fun auctions on Facebook and in-store signings. These guys know comics and that is what they are best at. They have a tremendous CGC wall that always has new slabbed comics. They also keep a lot of hot titles and variants in, and do not gouge their customers. Youll find that he team here know their business and can help you find what you are looking for, whether youre a new collector, or old-timer looking for a specific Silver Age comic.

Very good store. Had a bit of everything. I really enjoyed the Funko Pops, as they are what I collect. Went in looking for Pokemon cards for my son and he had some. Didnt have a huge selection, said he was run out and would have more, so we will return. Did have a great selection of comic books and figures, even had some Star Wars figures. Was impressed

My best friend loved this store and wanted to bring his thousands of comic there to see if he could sell them. We were supposed to return, but he passed away in August. All I can say is thank you for these memories and for making my buddy happy that day.

I purchased a couple trades. In a few places there were signs talking about all graphic novels were 25% off. The items were rang up full price. I thought fine, I must have misread it. The real issue is that the books have stains and have been read before. Shouldnt have to pay full price for something that damaged. Im at fault for blind faith in a retailer.

This is a great store for comics from all eras, collectibles, and supplies. They have a great selection and they are always adding new inventory. The in-store and online promotions and events that they hold are incredible. The staff is very knowledgeable and have always went above and beyond to help me with whatever I am looking for. It is a great shop.

Tons of amazing products and reasonable prices. Problem here is the customer service. I lived in this area about 8 years ago and it was terrible then but I figured hey surely something has changed for the better during that time right? Sadly, the answer is a resounding no. My fiance and I walked around in the store with an arm full of pops and a stack of magic cards totalling 50 plus and the man working the counter couldnt be bothered to so much as say hello to us despite standing next to him for over five minutes. This unfortunately led to my decision to put these items back as I personally cant justify spending my hard earned money somewhere that doesnt appreciate it. And the place was totally dead so its not like he was distracted.We began our day at Grand Adventure comics who have a much better selection and amazing customer service. Dont bother with your time nor your money here if terrible customer service is something you would like to avoid. Seems like this area has already learned this lesson and thats why one was dead while the other one was overflowing with friendly patrons and staff alike.

Shawn and Daniel were really cool and helped answer a bunch of questions I had about setting up a pull list. You can tell the owners care a lot about presentation too, because the store is clean, well-organized, and has a bunch of cool signed art and knick knacks on the walls. Cant wait to start dropping by every week!

Visited Outer Limits for the first time in a long long time. Picked up a Spiderman comic as well as a mystery box and other fun goodies. definitely in a good location off of Broad St (next to Big Lots) with a mix of newer titles and some old ones as well.

Cool store for comics and toys, I personally went for magic cards. They have a very small selection of singles but they do currently have the cheapest sealed product in town. The staff was very friendly and inviting. Further more they are not a Friday night magic venue even though Google has them classified as such.

Cool place. My boy asked me to take him to show be all the neat figurines they have. Lots of old school that I used to have.

A cool little comic store here in the Boro. They have all the DC and Marvel titles you could want. New and old titles are available. They also sell some trading card games, statues and statuettes, and collectible toys and action figures. The guy behind the counter asks if you need help finding anything and will usually point you in the direction of a book you are trying to find or just to look at.

This place is great very knowledgeable. Lots of statues older issues and figures. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable they know their customers and try and help them out.

Outer Limits is as good as it gets with a comic book store!!! They offer a HUGE selection of old and new titles and they know exactly how to take GREAT care of their customers. Every time I come in to shop they make me feel more than welcome and also confident that I never have to worry about missing any books I may be collecting.

The best in the boro

MTG buyers beware.I stopped in to get some cards, and noticed they had deck boxes filled with random cards. I asked the guy behind the desk if those cards were truly random, or if they cherry-picked the valuable cards out and boxed up the trash to sell in bulk. He stated they were truly random.I then asked the shop owner himself if they were REALLY random. If I can expect to see a mythic or 2 and useful rares. He stated Absolutely, theyre as random as random gets.Out of the roughly 1,000 cards in the box, I found 0 mythics, and less than 20 rares.I dont mind buying commons in bulk, but lying to your customers means Ill be spending my money at your competitors shop.

Where do I begin! I have been going to the OLB for close to 8 years or so. Chuck and Chase Cagle are the best they take care of their customers and the atmosphere of the shop is great. Tuesday night live auction is fantastic and you can get some great deals on exclusive comics. Plus the $5 flips you never know what you may get. I recently got a 40 dollar comic for $5 bucks. The OLB will give any comic shop a run for their money because they are definitely laying the Smackdown on the competition. Check them out!!

Pretty small shops, mainly just comics and toys/action figures. Not much in the offering of card games or role playing games.

Whoever answers the phone calls sounds like he needs a shot of vitamin C. Doesn’t sound fit for a customer service role I can say that. Felt very unwelcome when trying to call and purchase product. Not a good look for the company that’s for sure.

Ive been shopping at Outer Limits Boro since 2009. Its my go to for comic books. Ive always been treated great. Chuck the owner is awesome and VERY knowledgeable about the products he carries.

Seriously, there is not a better place to go for comics or collectables. Chuck, Chase, Shawn and Danny are just about the nicest people in the comic shop business. Ive been a customer for 17 years and cant imagine going to another shop. They have an amazing back stock and are always adding more to it. The live auctions are fun and entertaining and they are a CGC and CBCS store. Worth every minute and penny spent in there.

If you are into comics, Magic the Gathering, or Star Wars, you should be shopping here.Magic the Gathering players need to come here to buy cards and sleeves. Boosters, bundles, and boxes are 25% cheaper than walmart. Boosters are under $3, and that is an unbeatable price. Dragon Shield sleeves are $8.50 per 100 count box. That is $2 cheaper than the best price on amazon.Outer Limits is a great store. All of the prices are reasonable. Grapic novels and most comic books are in great supply here and are always on sale. Collectables, such as older Star Wars figures and many other action figures, are priced very reasonably, sometimes as much as half the price on eBay and other stores.Perhaps the store clerks and cashiers could be a little more helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, but I will always be tolerant of customer service issues when the prices are so good. The owner himself is a nice guy and easy to talk to, and that is enough for me to keep coming back.

Sometimes I feel welcome and other times I feel like its a No girls allowed place. This isnt The Little Rascal club. :(

Once I pointed out color touch on a back issue, got a hmmf for a reply, and watched the book go back on the shelves. Staff might make eye contact with you when you come in. Ive seen people walk out because of the one guy who literally cannot make conversation with people. Prices are high. Ive seen VF books with sub-creases. I can get overpriced, overgraded books on ebay. Theyve done a lot to make the store more active, but after the owner turned over management, you can do just as well gambling with books on ebay.

The store closes at 7PM on saturday night rather than the 8PM listed ongoogle. I drove 40 minutes and arrived right at 7PM to an unsymphateticmanager. Please update your hours of operation. I wont be back.
