After moving and needing a new eye doctor I went to Stones River Eye Center. All was well until I got a bill in the mail for $7.50, when I called about the bill I was told it was an error and irrelevant. After 2 months I hadn’t received my contacts in so I asked that they cancel the order. They told me the contacts were never ordered and I asked for a refund. This is where my problems began. They informed me I would have to speak to the office manager who I had to call and leave messages with three times, after the 3rd time magically the next day I had a check in the mail for the incorrect amount ($17.50). I called to determine where the remaining credit is and they told me the hardware was down and they would call me ASAP. It is worth noting I also received a bill for $17.50 which was the over 30 day amount due for the $7.50 I was told I didn’t owe. The office manager never called, when I finally called her back, she was rude, I asked two questions and she told me “since I wasn’t understanding she would mail me my ledger” and wouldn’t answer any of my questions “because my ledger would make it clear”. Extremely unhappy with the business, especially the office manager. Continuous excuses by the office manager and lack of professionalism. All I ask if for a simple refund for the full amount I was due rather than being given the run around.
Ive been seeing Dr P for years as I have some eye issues that started when I was 38.Dr P has always been very professional and takes time to explain in detail all issues regarding your eye exam.I have always been treated very well and have been well informed of any changes in vision and eye diseases that are affecting my eyes and vision. The staff is always very professional and they ask frequently about your comfort especially when youre doing special testing of your eyes. They all have your care in mind and take extra care with you and your vision.
My family had a great experience here! Everybody from the front desk to Michelle to Dr. Ranz was very informative & helpful. They educated me on things that were harming my eyes and Ive been to an optometrist for the past four years and never received this information! My son was diagnosed with bilateral cataracts at the age of three months & we have to special order his glasses and lenses and Michelle has been great helping us with that!! I definitely recommend them & have already referred my sister over to their office!
This office is amazing! The staff is so wonderful, and the doctor was incredible. He spent a great deal of time with my mother, both with his examination as well as in speaking with us in regards to her care.
I am reviewing as a caregiver for my sister who was the patient. Very classy place, all employees are very courteous and knowledgable ! Yes its true you may have to wait to be worked through but Dr. Ranz is loaded down with surgeries then appointments the following day. He and his techs go way above and beyond this grueling schedule and do it very efficiently. Once you finally get to see Dr Ranz he is very informative and does not rush you through, he is very thourough and will answer any question you have. I dont mind the extra wait time because Dr Ranz is top notch and he has great employees too ! Not to mention there is always great hot coffee there too ! They go above and beyond to get to as many patients as possible each day and still remain friendly and put the patients needs first !!!
The eye doctor I saw was extremely rude. Ive been wearing glasses and contacts since I was 14 and ive never been so disrespected. I would not refer anyone to them.
Always always paid bill in full each time I was in office and then after a over a year they say I owe 40.00 and turn over to collection. Worthless place to go. Way to many other choices that will be glad to have your busniess
Why is it that I had to wait an hour and a half to see the doctor. Could it be that there was poor scheduling going on? Exactly. So... everyone (staff) is shuffling people like flies from room to room...and I was this close to walking out when Dr. Ranz pops his head in. By the way...I really like Dr. Ranz....he is awesome. But...Im sitting there waiting (prior to Dr. Ranz) and a technician (with opthmologist diplomas all over the wall) does a complete review of my eyes and...my glasses, and says your eyes are fine. I say to her...hey, these franes are pretty old, if I want to get new glasses (frames and lenses)...can I get that info after the doctor examins? Answer...Sure. So...my frames really started bothering me 6 weeks later and I called back. Oh...guess what...I need to come back in and for 49 more dollars...I can GET THE DANG PRESCRIPTION. So...I need to pay 89 bucks, thats 40 copay and another 49 for fracting...to get my prescription. So if you are not interested in buying glasses there...the day the doctor examins you...you gotta come back in. Wow...what a great deal...for them. Save time and money...avoid this office. By the way...my sister had a similar incident...the other doctor was rude, non communicative, and had the bedside manner of a dead dog.
Dr. Ranz is a very detailed and thorough doctor!
Appointment was at 4:00 and waited 1 1/2 before called back to be in another room and finall finished at 7:00. This was for my mother age 93. Very poor scheduling. Very inconsiderate.
Nice people, good service
