We have been at The Dance Academy 8 years and there is no where else we would want to be!! Our dance friends are our best friends. The teachers are absolutely amazing and love my daughter like their own. We love it here!
My daughter started dancing at the DA in 2010 at the age of 3. From her first class, she has loved the teachers, dancers and of course, the thrill of being on stage! In 2014, she joined the competition team at DA and her love of dance grew exponentially. These last 7-8 weeks of social isolation have been difficult and frustrating for a teen that is used to dancing 5-6 days a week. We are so thankful for the staff at DA that have not only stepped up to create some great online classes to help keep my girl dancing, but also taken the time to check in with the her and keep her engaged with her peers and mentors. We are both looking forward to the reopening of the studio and the hustle and bustle of our favorite time of the year, recital! Thanks DA staff for all you do!
My daughter has been with the Dance Academy since she was 2. Amazing teachers, supportive environment, and a true passion for dance!
The Dance Academy has become a second home for our three girls! We originally put our middle daughter in ballet at age 3 because she was painfully shy and we were legitimately there for some social interaction and personal growth. The teachers were so amazing with our baby- she got hooked. She is still quiet, but she has confidence, stage presence and such a love for dance! Fast forward 8 years later, she is still at DA and her sisters have joined as well. They leave class tired, smiling and ready for more. Not only does this studio turn out AMAZING dancers, they help raise up kids that you can be proud of. They push, encourage and have fun with the kids all year long. When the kids are in the older classes they do expect a little more but the reality is a job will expect you to be prepared, be on time, have a good attitude and be a a good teammate so I love it!!! My kids aren’t there yet, but when I look at the girls who are seniors in this studio I see kids at the top of their class, they all have jobs, they volunteer, they have college goals ect and they dance on school teams and DA teams! I can’t say enough good things- We love The Dance Academy!!!
They were bullies at time. Laughed and criticized if you weren’t “ good enough “*former dancer.
