Just went with my dad for soccer, and let me tell you folks, the waiters over here are so nice. The food is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere *chefkiss* absolute perfect.but like seriously if i live in the area id totally come here like every week.good quality cheap food, great servers, yes.
First time here and the atmosphere was superb. Had the Phó Beef and meatball along with Pad See-Ew and it was FANTASTIC!!! The chefs really know how to bring it on. The service was great and the servings were just perfect for the price. I will definitely come back when in town. Highly recommend trying this family owned restaurant.
We found this fun restaurant today! Turns out it’s been in Murfreesboro for 25 years in couple locations! How have we not tried it before?!Service was great! Very courteous & attentive! Atmosphere was lovely! So much pretty wood work all over! This is a family owned & run business! So glad they have survived the pandemic!!The menu was huge! They have lunch specials during the week. Tea was delicious! Spring egg roll very good. We tried the cashew chicken & sweet & sour chicken. Each came with rice.Be sure to visit soon!
Went out to dinner here last month and haven’t stopped thinking about it! I got the pho which was phenomenal but our server went above and beyond at providing wonderful, attentive service. Love this family owned business and am planning on introducing my friends to it this weekend! I definitely would recommend to anyone who enjoys Thai food and is looking for a great dining experience.
So my wife and I had an amazing spot to go when we lived in Europe for Thai food that no one in the Murfreesboro area has been able to come close to in quality, until recently when we decided to give this place a try. The dish we both thoroughly enjoyed was Massamin. I asked for the hottest level of spice and my wife had the lowest. Both were amazing and tasted incredibly fresh. The place is family run and we spoke to both of the sons who work there and were very friendly and genuine people. They also took the time to talk with us about their own personal lives and how they grow their own ingredients in the back for their dishes. My family has definitely found our new Thai place and will likely be returning a few times a month from hence forth.
What struck me first walking into The Bangkok was how clean it is, it is literally shining. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Most importantly the food is just outstanding. Everything tasted extremely fresh! The atmosphere is very ambient as well. Hands down, one of my favorite restaurants in Murfreesboro! I will recommend this restaurant to all friends, family and visitors.

The food was not like other Thai places I have been to. For example, Pad Thai on Church Street. I was expecting something similar to that. The Chicken Pad Thai was Orange instead of the brown color that Im use to. The sweet and sour chicken wasnt fried and had a lot of onions in it. The food was fresh and the service was great. It may just be a different style of food. Kinda like Southern and Northern food I guess. The same main ingredients with different spices and preparing techniques.

Best Thai food in Murfreesboro. We had chicken satay (their peanut sauce is YUM), veggie egg rolls, green curry, and a spicy chicken dish. Everything was absolutely amazing.The facility was extremely clean. The staff was top notch!We are excited to have found this place! We hope to become regulars!
Murfreesboro is growing fast and so are its options for good Thai food. However, the Bangkok Thai continues to offer perhaps the best tasting menu in town and their friendly service cannot be matched. The warm, cozy atmosphere is very clean, even during the busiest times.Our family has been enjoying this gem for many years and the awesome staff treats us like family. We will continue to visit this as our go to place for Thai food in the ‘Boro, hopefully for many more years to come.Show love through kindness always. ☮️

Had lunch here today after a long spell of not getting to Murfreesboro. Suffice to say that Bangkok Thai is still amazingly good - far above the norm for Asian restaurants or restaurants in general. There are many appetizers and entrees that are unique and carefully prepared. I like the Vietnamese spring rolls that are served cold with a wrapping that is thin, light, and transparent. I also like the many seafood combinations. This is a good restaurant to experiment and try new things. Obviously, it is a favorite of mine. Enjoy.

Ordered the Tom Yum with tofu, Vegetable Egg Rolls, and Hot Tea for the beverage. The Tom Yum has a scent that may not be pleasant to some people, but it tastes far better than it smells. I thought it would keep me from eating it and it didnt. The hot tea was unsweetened which was a surprise as I figured it was. It was also good. The egg rolls were amazing, a bit crispy (I like them crispy personally), and thoroughly cooked through. Really great food all around and another reason Thai food is becoming one of my favorite types to eat.The restaurant was clean from dining area to the mens restroom. No dirty floors or tables. Unfortunately, a piece of silverware (spoon) was dirty when we requested for a new one as the previous one was knocked down on the floor accidentally. Other than that I recommend this place for Thai food lovers and will eat here again myself.

I travel all over the country & I was Pleasantly surprised at the quality of this little gem. The service was polite, and accurate. The young man that took my order and served my meal was very respectful and attended to my meal needs. The food was very good. Great flavor, beautifully dressed and served. I will visit again.

This is the place for authentic Thai food. Wonder why? The owner and employees are from Thailand. This is real Thai food - not American-Thai. The portions are generous but more importantly, the FLAVOR!!!! All ingredients are fresh, fresh, fresh. Everytime were in Murfreesboro (were residents of FLA) we make the quick detour off of I-24 for the flavors of Thailand. Never disappointed.

They can really crank up the heat on any dish. Both dishes we had were very good, recommend the drunkin Thai. They also have a good wine menu.The service ns atmosphere as top notch, the family really know how to take care of the guests. We cant wait to go back

Terrible today. When I told them the dish tasted bad- that something was spoiled in the dish (the pad Thai-that I get every single time) all of a sudden no one spoke English. I ate only a few bites, horrid. The server said - maybe your taste buds are bad today and gave me the bill instead. Look out for much smaller portions as well.

This place was absolutely fantastic. I have been here twice and each time have been blown away with the customer service and the food. You will not be disappointed if you come here for a casual dinner.
Atmosphere was good. Servers were knowledgeable about menu. Pad thai was good; it was standard Thai joint. The fried banana and ice cream was a plus as some Thai restaurants dont have dessert. The prices were standard. Give it a try.

We have been visiting Bangkok for nearly 20 years. We have followed them to 3 locations, each one nicer than the last. The food and service are always fantastic. The owners are friendly and will visit at the tables during the meal to ensure everything is perfect. We will be back again soon.

Delicious food, we called in by chance as everywhere else had waiting times if around 1 hrs. The food was delicious and the service was fast. An excellent chance find and Ill definitely go there again.
I’ve always enjoyed the food here! It’s a bit on the pricey side for a casual night out, but I have to say it’s worth it. The food is fresh. Portioning is great. You can even share if you’d like, and the service is wonderful! Will be coming back!

I ordered green curry w/chicken for lunch with Korean style fresh spring rolls. It was good. The curry could have had a greater variety of vegetables. It was tasty. The meal came fast and the environment was own and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Ill return for another dish.

When walking into the place, it was a wonderful atmosphere and very calming. We were greeted with a smile and fast service. I ended up having the chicken chilli stur fry. This food spices was great and it had wonderful flavor. I like Hot food however this was not a Hot food it was a nice warm spices with the taste of the meat and veggies.
Been going here since they opened (different location) 23 years ago. Has a fantastic ambiance. Great service and love the Thai Iced Tea. Their vietnamese spring rolls are the best in middle TN bar none. 4 stars since the last two times I have been there it has been a little off. Had a yellow curry that wasnt even yellow. Where the heck is the turmeric? Wasnt spicy at all and lacked the nuanced spices Thai food is famous for.
The best Thai curry tofu Ive had since I moved back to Tennessee from San Diego. They had a big vegetarian menu, and the food was very flavorful. The staff was friendly, and spoke excellent english. The dining area was very attractive, with hand-crafted wood art adorning nearly every surface. It felt comfortable, and relaxing. I would highly recommend.

I completely disagree with some of the ratings! This is definitely the BEST Thai food in all of middle Tennessee !! The food is deliciously fresh and bursting with flavor! The chef/owner is amazing and super friendly. The staff is always attentive and friendly and the restaurant is very very clean and inviting . I drive from Nashville to eat here because I think its the best !! I have been eating here for years and I have never been disappointed. I could not understand any reason that someone would give it a low rating !

They’re really nice people, but we were disappointed in the food. My husbands pad Thai was bland, and my order was the wrong order. It was also dry :/ my childs veggie & fried rice just tasted like overpowering celery & wasn’t fried rice as it was suppose to be.
Thai food is not always my first choice because I cant handle the spicy but, they have other amazing dishes too. My boys love the green and yellow currys and I love their steamed shrimp dumplings. The service is always polite and fairly quick if the restaurant isnt full. Good balance of ambiance for a date night or just a family dinner.

If I could give my experience at The Bangkok Thai 0 stars, I would. What started as a mediocre experience where we waited 30 minutes for our water and drinks, turned dreadful once the food arrived. An order of pad see eau came with a prominent odor reminiscent of horse manure. No surprise, the meal had a funky taste to it. Once we were finally able to flag down our server, which was not an easy feat, the meal was returned to the kitchen and replaced with a much more edible pad thai. Upon the end of our meal, the bill came with both pad see eau and pad thai on it. When we questioned the server, her reply was well, we couldnt re-serve it, so we had to charge you for it. Major. Red. Flag. Between the pungent noodle dish, the otherwise flavorless entrees served to the rest of my party, the lack of service, and attitude of our server, we will not be back. I advise others to steer clear of this place and opt for one of the many other Thai/Asian restaurants nearby.

This place is clean and neat. The food is fresh and delicious. They really do vary the spice levels of dishes for even the most timid of palates. Have never had a bad meal here and have tried nearly everything on the menu. On more than one occasion we had the waitress order for us and surprise us. Never disappointed. Yum!
Its hard to describe, but the food was just lacking. The green curry was missing something, and the chicken was overcooked. The fried rice seemed old? The Singaporean noodles needed salt? Hard to tell, but the place was clean, and the service was good. We enjoyed the food and the experience, its just that there was something missing.
First, let me say that the service and decore of this restaurant are really good. But the food missed the mark. When visiting in early August of 2018, there was no sushi available at all, despite half of the menu listing sushi items. I ordered a curry from the list of spicy curries on the menu ( it was indicated by a little red pepper symbol ). It was sweet and salty, but not spicy at all. I asked for hot sauce and the sauce I was given to spice up my food was nearly as bland. And the shrimp were over cooked to the point of being chewy. The iced coffee was good. The Vietnamese spring rolls were fine. Not sure what the problem is, but I had high hopes for this restaurant.
After driving around town, my lady and I had stopped into several restaurants with very long waits. I starting to get impatient and dying with hunger. We drove by Bangkok and decided to give it a try. My first experience was a pleasant one. We were greeted and sat very promptly. Our server was a very sweet and polite young man that you can tell sincerely cares about his job and customers. The atmosphere of the restaurant has a nice warm cozy feel. The restaurant is decorated with wooden trinkets that are as well for sale to purchase. I always love some greenery when dining out and was thankful to see Bangkok has living plants in the restaurant. This instantly changes my mood and makes me feel more at peace while dining out. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and well lit with lighting. The outside as well has a pleasing view, nice big parking lot - caters to handicapped and also well lit after daylight hours. Now to the food... I ordered a Thai coffee and water starting off. The coffee was great! One of the better ones Ive had around town... For my entree I decided on the chicken Pad Thai - per usual first trying a new Thai spot. I must say it was filled with flavor and the spice level of 4 was just about perfect for me. The flavor of this dish brought me back to the first time I ever tried a Thai restaurant- which was conveniently named Bangkok Thai as well... I then wondered if they were affiliated with each other. The other Bangkok in Lebanon, TN merged with another Thai restaurant in town and its just not the same taste... I was VERY pleased when my first bite brought back such good taste of my past fave! Although, this is one of the better Thai restaurants I have had in Murfreesboro. The only shortcoming I could comment on is the price ($) to portion sizes. A bit more expensive than most of the other Thai options in town with much smaller portions. Overall, great restaurant, food, service, and atmosphere! Recommended.

One of the best restaurants in Murfreesboro. Sing negative reviews on here is the only time Ive seen/heard people say they didnt enjoy this place. Jack and Boo-Pa (the owners) are as friendly as possible. Great menu.My recommendation: Spicy Noodle Soup w/spring rolls. So good.
I adore this place. They can make anything to your taste. Everything is cooked to order. As a gluten free vegan...this is one of my go to places. I know it will be great food, a good price and I will have a smile on my face when I leave. Highly recommended!

I had Thai food before and was eager to introduce my girlfriend to it. It looks really nice inside, sort of a Thai fine dining. We ordered the spring roll appetizer, and thats where things went downhill. They brought out the spring rolls and they looked good. I picked one up and it was sticky .I had to pull them apart. I put the first one in my mouth and was hit by the most horrible taste. My girlfriend did the same thing. We both instinctively spit it out of our mouth. I quickly paid for our drinks and the spring rolls and we made a beeline for the door. We wont be back. It may be awhile before I can talk my girlfriend into trying Thai food again.

Did Uber eats and the Pad Thai was possible the worst I’ve ever had. It was obviously pre cooked and heated up.

This is our favorite restaurant in town! We have known Bupha and Jack, the owners and watched their family and extended family grow up over 25 years. The food is great. Ive been in the kitchen and it is so clean you could eat of the floor. The restaurant is quiet, featuring beautiful hand made wooden tables and decor. The servers are very friendly. This is not fast food and every dish is made fresh, so be prepared to relax and enjoy your company while youre food is being prepared. There is a sushi menu, wine and beer, and a wide selection of traditional Thai menu items.Bangkok has a loyal following among locals. Not everyone knows about it, though. Ive enjoyed hundreds of meals here and never been disappointed. On occasion I have just asked Bupha to surprise me.You will enjoy Bangkok.
