I picked a pricey door but it is fully insulated, looks and works awesome. When it was 112-118 outside recently, it was tolerable 90s inside my garage. The gentleman installing my door was very efficient and equally friendly. The salesman was very friendly as well. I got exactly what I wanted!!!

Great responsive same day service and support! Tech Jay provided several options for my failed garage door system, and fixed system the same day. Heritage were the original supplier and installer of system 19 years ago, and it was great to see them still in business and continuing to provide excellent service.

TL;DR - Upsold on each encounter and did not receive knowledgeable service.After buying a house recently that did not have garage door openers installed, I contacted Heritage for a door tune up as they seemed to be pretty loud and were not balanced prior to installing the openers myself (the door would not stay motionless when opened half way, the standard). The technician who came out indicated that due to our low headroom, the tracks for our doors would need to be changed for a separate model.When asked if performing the balancing prior to installing a new part would be worthwhile, I was assured that the senior technician who would install the new tracks would also perform a balancing after as well to ensure their quality. I verified this fact with the representative on the phone (who coincidentally changed my appointment less than a day before it was scheduled, leading to headaches).After the new track install, the doors were not balanced and the larger door does not remain motionless, it flies up rapidly when given the chance from mid open.On top of this, after my concerns were voiced to the representative, a sales agent (not either of the previous two installers, or even a technician) was sent out to look at my concerns. I was then told it was something else that was the problem and I needed to purchase a different quality of roller for the tracks for a solution.After spending over $1000 on two garage doors for two balancing services and the installation of the two tracks on two doors (four total), I am quite disappointed on the results. The doors were initially quiet and flowed well after the tune up, but once the tracks were replaced, they are loud and not balanced at all.I would highly NOT recommend this company given the poor customer service and quality of work I have experienced.

Heritage Garage Door is the Best! I have been going to them for years. Every time I need a replacement battery they always have it in stock. When I needed to replace my broken old wall unit, they had another updated one available. When I needed to replace my old remote, they had an updated one. Not only do they always have the parts that I need, they will come out and install and program them. They are fast, friendly, thorough, and very helpful. Every time I call they always have helped me find what I needed. The tech they sent out was Great! He was very helpful, and friendly, and fast. Anytime I need anything for my garage door, Heritage Garage Door is the place I go to. I highly recommend them.

LiftMaster 8500. I was hesitant to go with a wifi enabled garage door opener, but I’m already enthusiastic to recommend it. The installation went well because Nick the technician did an excellent job. Very skilled and professional. Once I downloaded the app, the setup was nearly seamless. Just one small glitch simply required that I close the app and reopen to correct it (thanks to help by a simple call to customer service). Having the ability to open/close the door when I’m away, and to be notified on my mobile device if it’s been opened/closed, or to let someone in is fantastic! I’ve seen negative reviews related to the light, which has a motion sensor. I highly suggest letting the technician recommend where to place it. So far the light has had zero issues and works great — very bright! I highly recommend this model.

I had another company come out the day before to take a look and I was quoted $100 more to fix my door not including a belt that I know I needed. I was told that nothing was technically broken but that I would have to replace parts which I couldnt wrap my head around. When David came out the next day, I explained to him what happened, and he was able to get me back up and running and replace a broken belt for $100 less then the competitor. I will be recommending Heritage Garage Door to friends and family in the future.

I called late in the evening and they were able to squeeze me in the next day between 12 & 1:30pm. The next day the tech arrived at 11:30!🙂 the tech’s name is Chase and WOW he looked at the damages of my garage door and motor and INSTANTLY he said “cool, I’ll get this started now” and I was like “wait it’s repairable?!” And he responded “don’t worry, it’s common for garage door to have these types of damages and it’s an easy fix”. About an hour into the repair he was able put my garage door back into its track, greased the rollers, AND he even adjusted the garage chain, apparently the previous owner installed the garage motor incorrectly and left too much slack on the chain. Now my garage door is working perfectly, it’s quieter and I can sleep better now. I’m definitely coming back for any issues I have with my garage, I’ll most definitely go to them if I ever want to upgrade my garage door. Thank you so much Heritage and Chase!!

I am so grateful to Heritage Garage Door! Over the holiday weekend my garage got stuck in my car was trapped inside and I was unable to get out. I called in a panic after my parents referred the company to me. They were able to not only squeeze me in next day, I learned that they also use the company I work for as a service provider for their software. I am so grateful to the kind technician who came to my house today (on time) let me know he was coming via dispatch text message, and quickly and efficiently saved the day while I finished a work call. Prior to heritage I called three other companies and never even received a call back. Not only was I taken care of, Greg helped me over a holiday weekend and insured that I was able to escape/ not be stuck in my garage when I desperately needed my car to get out and take my son to school. They have a life long customer out of me!

I got my garage door from Heritage Door in 2000 from one of their Orange County locations that they moved from. 20 years later, it is still going strong. I just spoke with the owner (Ed) about a problem and he actually remembered the door installation. After he explained the solution and I tried it, it turned out it wasnt the fault of the door after all. These people are the best.

I had two garage door motors installed. The installer was very nice and knowledgeable. Helped me program everything. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is that they had to come back another day to install the second motor because they didn’t have it o. The original installation date. Luckily I’m working from home these days, otherwise I would have been seriously inconvenienced. However, I am happy overall with the installation and everyone I dealt with was very nice.

Heritage’s tech, Chase, completed a great install of a new opener in my shop today. Everything works perfectly. More importantly, everyone was responsive and courteous throughout. I was happy to talk to an actual local person on the phone, and Chase was excellent. I’ll never call anywhere else if I have garage door issues in the future.

When I called for an appointment I was concerned that they would not be able to help me right away. However, they were able to schedule it for the same day. the service representative was really helpful. The technician arrived early and finished quickly. I went with this company after calling several others out for estimates. First day they were here on time with texts and an app showing the rep and distance from my home..well, that customer service was short lived. I bought my garage door on 3 installments, all my checks were post dated they ran the first check through 3 days before it was to be cashed! Installer came a few days later.. my garage door was put up everything worked fine when he was here, the next day it wouldn’t go up or down. When I spoke with the company on Saturday ( first they wanted payment) really?? They said they would call back on Sunday talk my husband through the process of opening the garage door and followed by someone coming out on Monday!? Well that didn’t happen. Now it’s Tuesday the guy was supposed to be here between 8:30 and 9 it’s 9:25 he just showed up.. ( in the mean time my husband has gotten the door to work) anyway, this guy that was just here told me it’s not working because I need a new opener? My old door was fine with the opener before??? It makes me so mad that I had options and we choose this company!

Broken springs. Heritage assigned a tech to remove and replace. George arrived on time and educated me regarding springs. It’s a sectional garage door no longer manufactured, insulated and heavy. George did an outstanding job and was complete within an hour. 2 weeks later my garage opener was having a difficult time raising the door. I contacted Heritage at 9am and George arrived at 10am! That’s the definition of professionalism and customer service. George readjusted the spring tension within 15 minutes. Door opens and closes with ease now. Thank you Heritage and double thanks to George for fixing my garage door.

What a great experience! I called in early morning to set up a quote for later in the evening. This company means business, and cares about Customer Service! Their automative appointment confirmation and reminder system makes it really easy to be a customer. Both technicians weve had out (today, and about 2 years ago) were wonderful -- great communicators, punctual, helpful, explained things well. Good customer service is rare these days, but this company exceeds expectations -- Id give 6* if this form allowed it!

UPDATE: Greg from Heritage went above and beyond to make sure this never happens again and is even refunding our $29. I would definitely consider calling Greg in the future for any of our garage door needs. Well done sir.George came out today. We knew there was a $29 fee for this. I let him and the company know we were getting more than one estimate. My husband asked to see paperwork on the systems and all he had to show was the box. He bad mouthed other companies and their products. He looked up at the system but did not check it. The other company came and did not charge. They thoroughly checked out our existing system. They did not bad mouth other companies. They were very professional and much less expensive for the exact same product. I would not recommend Heritage because of the poor customer service of the technician they sent. The customer service over the phone however was professional. Its too bad they lost a customer today.
