Great service. We were in town visiting family and I broke my phone. I was already planning an upgrade, but didnt want it so soon! :-(Anyway, we went in and registered. There was an hour wait, but once we got with a rep, it went great. The data transfer between phones was taking f.o.r.e.v.e.r! They let us take the trade-in with us to let it finish and then bring it back next day.Thank you and your team so much! Jake Jake did a great job!
The manager Olivia was great. I thought my experience was going to take a long time. I was completely wrong. In fact, I wished I could’ve stayed in there a little longer.lol I told her the product that I was looking for and she went and grabbed it. I never once felt like I was a bother to her. She was so informative about what I was purchasing. I walked in with a frown and walked out with smile. I’ll definitely be back here…even if it’s just to browse for future purchases. 5 stars for this specific location. We were having tons of issues getting switched to Verizon from another carrier that the customer support teams online and via phone were not helpful in fixing. The staff in this store were extremely polite, understanding, and made my time feel valued when they quickly fixed issues for us that are supposed to be handled by the phone teams. Highly recommended!

Ive had fairly good experiences with the people but the company is trash, no one finger knows what the other fingers are doing. Every other month I spend hours trying to fix their system errors/half implemented policies. The manager straight up broke one of my phones under direct guidance of their engineers and told me to wait 7 days while turning it on and off at least once a day and that might fix it, suprise it didnt. Unfortunately verizon is only service that works where I live. The definition of insanity.
I was told 40 min wait and that they would call me. Its been 1hour 40 minutes and they are now closed and no phone call yet

Horrible customer service. I went in there and bought 3 brand new phones. They did everything with bare minimum attitudes, didn’t want to explain how to use/set the phones up. Very nonchalant, and to top it off no complimentary screen protector or anything. They didn’t tell/offer us any deals. I was excited to get a new phone and they just kinda ruined my experience. Please do better Verizon.

If you try to add multiple devices or additional phones to your account over a short period of time the staff at this store will treat you like a criminal. On a side note I always pay my bill several months in advance and currently have a positive balance of over $500. You know that’s just what someone committing fraud would do (sarcastic).I recently added several phones (7) to my account over the span of twenty days and this store refused to sell me the phone, contacted their fraud prevention department and locked my account on two separate occasions. I was interrogated by the staff who wanted to know why I wanted the additional phones, who they were for and why have some of them not been activated and used already. I should have just told them to F off and walked out, but I have been a loyal Verizon customer for over 10 years. I’m disappointed in myself for actually explaining to them that the phones were gifts for my 6 kids and an additional phone was for me because I own and operate three different businesses. This is when the woman (who I believe is the manager) cut me off to say I have had plenty of time to give the phones to my kids already. I’m recently divorced and currently in a custody battle with my ex wife. Two of the kids were exposed to someone with Covid. Anyways, I haven’t been able to see all of my kids at the same time so I can give them the phones all at once. Once again I’m angry at myself for actually explaining this to the staff and I should have just walked out.Ultimately, I was able to contact Verizon customer care on both occasions and have the lock removed. Verizon customer care actually told me to shop at a different corporately owned Verizon store. Customer care also informed me that my account was flagged for fraud and locked down solely do to the actions taken by the staff at this store. When their own customer care staff tells you to shop somewhere else you probably should.Lastly, I will now take every opportunity possible to share my experience at this store with as many people as possible and I will post this review on every website I can find that offers reviews of this location. I will also post this review on every social media platform available to me. I almost never write a review on a business no matter how bad the experience is, but this place deserves to be blasted.
Never had a good experience with this store. Save yourself the pain and go to the store on Apple. Way better customer service.
Great store with a helpful and friendly staff
Dont go to the store expecting to be able to touch or handle and of the electronics. They want you to spend hundreds of dollars without being able to feel the item first. Even if that item is right in front of you and they have plenty of hand sanitizer. Instead you can touch the cases they want to sell you after you bought your phone.
Because it is a real Verizon store I feel the sales representative s are trained with caring and integrity, supporting and vaulting the concerns of their customers.

My phone has been having issues for weeks. I can’t make phone calls or text unless in WiFi. It’s still under warranty so they said they could replace it. They said it would be at my home by 8:00 the next day. It never arrived and Verizon has no record that this even took place. Call volume is high and they do not answer phones. No one can do anything through the online chat.
We went in with a new Verizon iPhone we purchased through Verizon online and asked Steve for help setting up and transferring. He was completely useless in helping us, told us customers just do everything themselves now. I usually get good service when I go in, but definitely not this time. We spend a boatload of money with our 4 phone lines and unlimited service plan for us to come in for tech help and get absolutely nothing. Thank you Verizon for wasting our time. I guess customer service has gone away. What a waste of time. Id love to totally kick Verizon to the curb. I may have to investigate other options and take our business elsewhere when one of us needs a new phone.

Ashlee, was such a big help when I went there. She answered all my questions and even took the time to find some other answers even though I was not upgrading any lines today but I will definitely be back in 2 weeks to upgrade my phone and look for her. I fo there always to make a payment with the kiosk inside and it is quick and fast. I also have dealt with other associates there and they all have been helpful and curiosity and I make a point to go back to this Verizon location every time I need anything or to make payments.
Staff is always excellent. Efficient, knowledgeable and polite. Will visit again.

Wow. My wife and I received great service at this store from Kaley. She was very knowledgeable and efficient as well as patient and kind. She was very pleasant to work with. She answered every question and made sure we were set to go with our new products. I highly recommend her for other customers and for higher responsibility in this or some other business.

Worst experience. They may be knowledgeable about product but service felt rushed. Every time we asked a question about something salesman would shrug it off. I was told they could not set up a phone because it would take too long and they would be closed. “His grandma could set it up” it was so easy, 2 IT friends at home later and no one can do it as are locked out with old phone not working. Was definitely just a sale. Will not go back.

This particular outlet is a Real Verizon Store and the only one I would recommend traveling to anywhere in the area. Always extremely helpful. I have been with Verizon 10+ years (only one year now on my own account). #1 customer service. #2 best coverage & speeds. #3 they are a bit more expensive but THEY ALWAYS TAKE CARE OF ME
Arrogant and condescending. They expect you to know everything about your phone even if your in your seventies. And, they locked my parents inside. Go to the grand haven store, they were friendly, helpful and solved the problem in minutes without the attitude.
Unfortunately I was on Sprint in Muskegon for 3 months and as a part-time rideshare driver their mobile data service worked only about half the time. I visited several stores in the area (AT&T, etc.) to find out what my options were for moving off of Sprint. This store was by far the most professional, courteous group. They made switching easy and I got to keep my old phone number and I couldnt be happier with the network; its 10 times better than Sprint. Even my good old phone calls sound better/clearer. It only took me an hour to get everything finished - if that. The Dude/Bro culture is unfortunately alive and well in many of these stores, but not here. These folks were professional, engaged, and efficient. Thank you!!
The store was busy and there were no directions on checking in or anyone to welcome me. When I did speak to a girl, she basically told me to go on someone elses plan and wouldnt really review different plans with me. I felt like she was rushed and stressed. I went to the Grand Haven location that same day. Someone reviewed all the plans with me and was present. It was a much different experience and I think Ill drive to Grand Haven next time I need something for a warmer feel.

Quick friendly service. The store seemed clean and well kept. We went here to buy a watches. I was able to purchase a Gear for my Pixel. Staff only had general knowledge of the features. Even with that, Id had given them five stars if they had a watch for my husbands iPhone but they dont sell iwatches here.

Dont waste your time. You can find everything online. You will wait 1 hour in line to have someone give you the same service an online bot could. Staff is not helpful, service is super slow and they will just try to push whatever is more expensive.
I had the worst customer experience of my life here. Bad enough I wrote the CEO. The Rep. Couldnt stay awake, texted with her friend while helping me and turned off my working phone. I left with her saying she couldnt help and none of my phones worked. Went home and called and the call center had me going in minutes....use this place at your own risk!!
As good as any Verizon store. Always busy. The wait is long enough to browse the in your face hard sell atmosphere decor, allowing ample time to ponder over how much more debt youre about to get into. Staff needs to work on bourgeois attitude. They may not give the expensive inventory and pricey plans a second thought, but I know Ive walked out of there in sticker shock twice now. Little more compassion for the working stiff customer goes a long way.

They helped me just fine but just as another review stated they only care about selling devices and will lie to do so. A man names Jason helped me find a nice tablet and I wasnt sure I wanted so he says we will wave the 40 activating fee if u buy today. So I did and got my bill a whole month later and it was on there and when customer service called him about it he dodged and said we needed to come in store to discuss mind u that 2 hours away customer service got sick of waiting and just took the 40 dollars off
I walked in after being assured by a phone customer service rep that I would be able to pick up a phone upgrade in the store if I drove 45 minutes to get there but unfortunately there was an issue and I couldnt get the phone. Brandon (who it seems has been called out on here before), instead of being apologetic and willing to explain the issue, was incredibly rude and told me that I could either pay full price on the spot for my phone or walk out of the store and call customer service to try to figure it out. Needless to say I will not be going to this store again if I can help it.

Had a exceptionally poor service experience. I was attempting to bring in four numbers from a competitor and each line had their own device. The sales associate, assistant manager, and store manager all assured me that we could port the numbers and ship the SIM cards and nothing would happen to existing service until the SIM cards were activated. (I asked all three because I was very concerned about losing service on the lines while the SIM cards were in transit).This was simply not true, we portes the numbers and I had four people without cell service and no way to reach them to explain what was happening because their cell phone service was disconnected as soon as we submitted the port request.I called another store explained my story and the store manager said that the information given to me by this store was completely wrong and they should have known the service would be interrupted as soon as the port request was approved by the other carrier.Eventually gave up with the store and called customer service and they were very helpful.

Ive been going to this store since Verizon took over my Alltel accounts around 10 years ago. Other than some ridiculous wait times on occasion, the quality of service has always been top notch at this location. Until now, anyways.I switched phones and had enormous trouble getting contacts, apps, and data synched to my new phone.I spent several hours trying to get my new device operating like the old phone did, but it just didnt happen. I just decided to return the new phone the day after I purchased it, and get my old phone reactivated.The condescending, pompous manager I dealt with refused my return. He offered to have one of his employees help me with the data transfer, but after already having invested 3-4 hours of my own time (and with no guarantee of the Verizon employee succeeding) I was totally disinterested in the new phone. I had traded in an old phone towards the new one, and was told that I could buy my old phone back and have it activated for $200-300. For a three year old Android phone, mind you.As I said, Ive been in this store many times over the years, and nearly all the employees look completely different to me than the last time I was here around a year ago. I realize that turnover in retail is par for the course, but the level I service I got was NEVER this bad any time before. Coincidence, maybe?I wont recommend this store to ANYBODY in its current state, as much as it pains me to say that.
I took my mom with me because we both needed new phones. We worked with Cory. He was very knowledgeable about the phones I was considering. I felt confident in my purchase because of his knowledgeability.
This is my main Verizon store, anytime I go there they are very polite. However they will Dodge and attempt you make to have them help you. They are only interested in selling you products and will lie to do so. Calling Verizon directly is the only way to get any problem fixed.

Bought a found, had no problem, got a plan set up, 5 gb data a month. Rebecca G must of put the info wrong and set it to unlimited data. Which is 90 a month. Plus the phone bill and what not would have cost me 180 every month. If I didnt call in and check I would of been screwed thinking my bill was only gonna be 78 dollars. Not happy, wish it could of been correct the first time.

Got there to be told that, even though my phone was specifically listed in the body of the email, it wasnt eligible. No apologies for the misinformation presented in the offer, no attempt to make it right, just the typical cold corporate indifference. Not happy.

I was having trouble understanding how a particular upgrade worked and what I could do and was told listen we can argue semantics all day but thats not going to change anything and youre still not going to get what you want today. Literally only trying to understand what my options were but I was met with hostility. :/I think Ill just take the time to go to GR when I upgrade.
So today was wed July 10th 2019 my mom went into try to figure out whats wrong with the new phone that she gotten a few weeks ago. so this guy comes over to help but was very rude and didnt even try to solve any of the problems that my mom was having this guy was like theres your email..ok theres your Amazon and said I am not goin to do everything for you and at this point my mom feelings were hurt and was crying and I wanted to go back into the place and truly wanted the guy fired I mean I dont care if hes having a bad day or good day or if the heat wave was bothering him. you just dont do that on the job to be rude to any customers or have any personal problems always keep it to yourself and always help the customers no matter what circumstances are. I dont care if his girlfriend broke up with him or any given Situation he should of smiled and do his job on helping my mom with her phone that been giving her problems that she been having and on top of that she has been comin to this place for years cuz she always enjoy gettin help from the employees that know her very well and never had any problems with anyone at Verizon by the lake mall and most of all my mom had spend lots of money on getting a new phone for whomever needed new one or upgrade or needed phone fix .you should never ever bring your problems or bad days to work..I hope no one else had to deal with this rude moron behavior..so thanks alot to the biggest rude moron that ruined my moms day of not getting the help that she needed

These guys are unprofessional, I drive a truck and I stopped here to switch from sprint terrible because my phone stopped charging network and is desperate. And these guys are not able to enter the correct information to the phone switched to Verizon. When we checked bouncer credit score is to have no credit at all. When I came to Chicago I tried again in another shop and told me the man that all data entered incorrectly in the previous store. even the manager there, but he did not know to check rather than just looking at what the screen out.
Edit: called a second time got my problem resolved. First call sat on hold for 30minutes.
My jetpack stopped working and went into store and Jason helped me. I figured I may need a new jetpack. Jason tried several options to see if he could get it working and was correct needed new jetpack. Jason was friendly, patient since my father was with me and asking questions about phones. I did not feel rushed and the store was starting to get packed. Jason even helped me process the rebate!!!! Great customer service! Ive had Verizon for many years and hope they continue to keep up the great service! I was hoping I would get a phone call from Verizon to take a survey on Jason but did not get one and since I had such great service I decided to post the great service here. The least I could do for what was done for me! Thanks Jason!!!!

Wanted to pick up a sim card that Verizon tech support told me to do. An arrogant and pompous manager told me there was no way it could be done despite having been told to do so by Verizon agent on the phone. Some inane excuse about fraudulent sim cards. Went to 2 other Verizon stores and both handed the cards happily and without question! If you have any kind of problem, avoid the Norton shores Verizon store like the plague. The manager is clueless.

My mother-in-law went in today to buy a new iPhone 8 Plus. She is 70 years old and not technologically savvy. She asked the Verizon representative at this store if he could transfer her data from her old iPhone to the new one. He stated that he couldn’t do that because they don’t want to “enable” people. Are you kidding me? There was nobody else waiting. You may want to rethink that approach to prevent future lost sales...

Most of the time, I havent had terrible experience with this store. But the last time, I wasnt pleased. I found the person I talked to rude, trying to prove how smart he was by attempting to answer questions before I finished asking them. Once they found out my contract wasnt up yet (2 weeks remaining), they wanted nothing to do with me.When I got home, I called the Verizon customer service number. I talked with a very nice girl named Brandy who was in Arkansas. I explained the situation to her that I had a busted phone with only 2 weeks remaining on my contract, wondering if there were any options to get us through until the contract expired. Without hesitation, she said she would renew the contract and thanked us for being loyal customers. Ended up ordering 2 new phones with accessories because she was so helpful.
Service is good and people are pleasant. Accessories for smartphones are often pricey.
