This door has been of one of the stores that has been there for a long time. I personally know the owner and she is just as sweet as can be you can get all your Oriental needs met there she will even hand make some of these products.Valy was there before any of the other stores was there!

I have been there several times since I first found the store. The owner has been very helpful with my journey learning how to make sushi. She has had all the necessary supplies including bar-b-q eel, frozen Japanese yellow tail tuna, saki etc. Tomorrow Im cooking tuna, salmon and eel, sushi with seaweed salad. I could not be more happy!

Love it here! I try to get here a couple times a month to get ingredients for all my Asain cuisine. Highlighted countries in the store are Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, and so many more! To get authentic ingredients makes my dishes taste 1000x better. Lots of drink options, sweets/candies, fresh frozen seafood, ramens, cutlery, and gift items!

We live about 20 miles away so we checked online to make sure they were open first. We drove up there and found out they were closed. We went back a couple of days later. This was our first visit to the store. Found out that each item was $1 - 3 more than Grand Rapids Asian stores. I bought two items, one bowl and a tube of mustard. Just opened the mustard yesterday and found out the expiration date on the tube was 2012. The mustard had no flavor at all. The date on the outside carton was covered with a sticker. I will never go there again.

Auntie here is SUPER sweet and friendly she was great. The home made spring rolls was Superb! Alot of different varieties of Ramen to choose from with a variety of different asian ingredients such as teas, oils, sauces, noodles, wrappers, seaweed, spices and rice for all sorts of dishes to indulge in for home cooking; along with frozen meals from dumplings/pot stickers, steamed buns and ice cream. They also have a variety of sweets and snacks along with a variety of drinks. They have alot of knick-knacks and serving dishes along with chop sticks that vary in variety depending on what is needed and price range. This place is a great little jewel that you must check out if you love if you love to expand beyond the normal foods that you may not be use to.

I always enjoy speaking with her, especially when she shares her knowledge of Vietnam. Her egg rolls are the best youre going to find anywhere. You may find their equal, if you spend your lifetime looking. You wont see the on display, ask for them. I slightly favor the pork rolls, but try them all. You wont regret it. Having spent a couple of years in S.E. Asia Im relieved to be able to find some of the critical ingredients for S.E. Asian cooking locally, and Im happy to find her still in business in spite of the difficulty during these trying times. I was happy to find fish sauce. Its a necessary ingredient in S E. Asian food, and Im addicted to it!

I was lucky enough to be told about this place by coworkers and my goodness is it worth the stop. Not only is the owner incredibly sweet, but such an encouraging person! She noticed I had picked up ingredients for making rice noodles and gave me some of her own tips as well as recommending different things to serve them with. She stocks all sorts of pantry staples as well as an assortment of frozen treats to enjoy so it is ABSOLUTELY worth going here if you can. The kind of small business and small business owner that we should all hope to encounter.

A treasure of a place to shop. The elderly lady whos been there everytime Ive been, is a pure pleasure to be around. Shes very helpful with any recipes Ive been trying to work on, not only providing the homestyle ingredients, but a quick explaintion on proper prep as well! To top it all off, my 3 year old daughter loves her, whenever she knows were going for a visit she lights up. I wish more places were this way. The variety of goods in the store is also surprising for the size. I cant believe how many packed noodles as well, its really a gem for ramen. I also recommend these glass soda drinks Ive been getting as well. They taste great in a variety of flavors, green apple is my favorite, and a sealed with a glass marble you have to push in to open the drink. Pretty darn cool. 10 out of 10 best shopping experience around.

The reviews I read before going for the first time this morning were extremely accurate so there isn’t much to add. Swan is from Japan and is extremely friendly. She took time to introduce herself, ask my name, talk to my children, and offer them Pocky Sticks as we left. I didn’t have much time to stay and talk today, but I will make sure I do the next time. She was also very knowledgeable about all the products in the store and the different varieties of similar type items. I highly recommend stopping in here and supporting her business.

She was so nice and friendly even given the quarantine situation. We were handed sanitary wipes at the door and only allowed one customer in at a time, wiped off my card after she swiped it, super accommodating. we will definitely be back!!

We visited the store for the first time today and it certainly won’t be our last visit. The store is full floor to ceiling with every Asian item imaginable, both food & party items. Everything you’d need to have a beautiful Asian evening at home. AMAZING customer service, variety of products, & Swan (the owner) is warm, inviting, very knowledgeable & made us feel at home immediately. We went in for Fortune Cookies and left with several sets of beautifully decorated chop sticks and a gorgeous dress that Swan tailored to fit me perfectly within a couple of hours. Swan is so incredibly warm & welcoming. She is an absolute delight. It’s certainly going to be the only place we ever shop for our Asian delights.

What a wonderful place. I was looking for some place to buy supplies to make miso, and this was the closest place listed. Im so glad I stopped in here, I will definitely be back. It looks small from the outside but the shelves are packed full of an assortment of snacks, ingredients and drinks (and a ton more). The customer service is awesome too. This all together was a very pleasant experience.

Whenever Im in town, I make an effort to see Ms. Swan and get some food. She is just one of those salt of the earth people and Im grateful for her business. Yes, she does have a thick accent to her English, but do make the effort to understand her. She has had quite a life before coming to the U.S. and many stories to share. Of course go there also for her supply of Asian foods. She will do everything she can to help you get whatever it is you need.

I think I just met the nicest person in the world today! She was so helpful! I found a new tea, and I just love it. If you are looking for kimchi this is the place to go. I moved from near Grand Rapids and didnt relish the idea of driving all that way for miso paste and now I dont have to. The spring rolls are home made and taste perfect. The store even smell good! I will recommend this place to everyone who will listen to me!

Came in today with my wife. After living overseas for a few years we were finally able to find some foods to make ourselves feel less island homesick. My wife and I have been coming here since moving to Muskegon back in 2008. We love Ms. Swan, she is one of the sweetest people weve ever met. If she doesnt have something, shell order it for you. We always get a big hug when we come in and a little treat for our 3 kids when we leave. (so sweet) Prices are reasonable, theres a large selection of fresh, frozen and dried goods from all over the world - and its the ONLY Asian market in the greater Muskegon area.

This store is so AMAZING! Its kind of hidden because its so small but I think thats what makes me like it. Also, the store is neighboring a curry restaurant. I havent ate there but my friend says the curry is pretty spicy.Anyways. The lady who works at the store is among one of the sweetest women I know. Shes really helpful and you can tell she genuinely cares about the customer. I came in looking for hondashi (a japanese soup stock) and all she had was the dashi flakes, and they were in bulk packaging. That was waayyy more than I needed so she agreed to take whatever I needed out of the packaging for me!!She was also very helpful in finding things that I needed.Another great thing about the store is there selection! They have just about everything you need to make a japanese, korean, vietnamese, and even indian dish! For the sushi lovers, she keeps fresh fish in the back, along with some vegetables that you can only find in the asian country. The store even has a little snack section, as well as little gift like souvenirs. And of course they have an abundance of chopsticks, and the knick nacks that come with them. Like chopsticks rests, etc.If you ever get the chance please visit this store!
